Buying a coin because it is cheap is not a wise thing to do, the reason being that you might not know what the lowest price could be. It is possible you buy and the price continues to fall. So instead of buying with the price in consideration, buy the value. A coin with value will have good products. A product that is needed by investors and those who would like to use it. Although, you might be fortunate to buy it at low price, which then increases your chances of having more profits.

Price can sometimes be very deceptive, most especially now that the market is moving uptrend. Since bitcoin is dominant over  most coins, even shit coins will also increase in dollar, but with time it will dump again. So it is better to go for a coin that has got good product, active team and a futuristic roadmap. Such coin can grow even if the price of bitcoin is not growing as supposed.

A wise investor will not buy cheap coins just because it is cheap, they buy coin because of the platform and the support that they are getting from the community, only pump and dump group buy a cheap coin, because they will pump it in the future.

Obviously i agree on this. To be achieve good profit investor has to look on the quality and the platform on which the coin is built and how it is different from other coins and how it will achieve the expectation of people in the crypto market these are the few things to be verified before investing. cheap value coins will not going to give profit. Quality coin will give you profit and increase the price of coin if it is widely accepted in the crypto market.

There are the so called hype coins. Where the coin only goes up for a while then it goes down really hard and does not recover. Some good speculators actually buy this coins at cheap price then dumps them right away at a high price and does not hold any longer. There is still a strategy behind this.

As a conclusion to what you've said, i think that some of what you have said are correct. And a wise investors should not buy cheap coins without further investigating about what he bought. It is nicer to buy potential coins that are good in future investments.

Buying something because it has a low price is a measure of value but not a very good one. There are much better ways to identify coins with potential to grow. I remember during the bubble last year that almost within a week all well known alt-coins under 100 Satoshi's pumped hugely, I assume as new money was trying to find projects that could be the next bitcoin in terms of growth. What they neglected to consider is marketcap and the underlying project.

I agree with you. Often the price does not match the content. If some kind of token only appears, then it is very easy to manipulate its price and make an artificial pump with a small amount. It is better to focus on the value and future of the project, but this is not so easy to do.

There are too much traders that are hunting for the fast profit and nobody really cares about the real value. A lot of investors are blindly putting their money into different ICO projects without even reading the whitepaper. Search for great projects first before contributing to them.

On this things, you may have a point in your reason anyway. Before we buy some coins in the platform exchange site we must always check the volume it has at the present value even the price was being dumped but the volume still high, it is still a good thing to buy that coins. But if the volume was too low then it also dump its value, well I guess its not a good idea to buy em, instead stay away from it and find another coins that are potentially high capable to increase in the future.

indeed buying when cheap prices are not necessary, because not necessarily purchased can have a high value in the future. yes I agree with you we must see the value of the project we are going to buy. with a good value, the benefits to be gained will be more, the low price for me is just a bonus that I get by trying to find the best.

Searching for cheap coins to buy without making a good research on them and the project they are presenting is just stupid, but also buying valued coins with a price much higher (during pump time or something like that) than what they are really worth, is considered a stupid move too, so the best formula is to buy the valued coins with the best lowest price and that is a really challenging thing and not easy to do, but if you are able to do that then you are rich.  ;)

I guess there are technical analysts who will help you to buy coins at low prices, the high and low prices of a coin will affect the amount you get when you buy. It is better to buy a coin that has got value than buying a coin because it is very cheap.If a coin with no use fall,it is very difficult to rise but when a coin with great use fall,the tendency of rising is very high

A coin can have value and still be cheap because if the developer do their job diligently, the coin will grow over time and be more valuable invariably increasing in price but then we can not underestimate the importance of value before buying any coins or tokens

But sometimes Im more of a price also when doing short term or day trading since theres this fudd coins that are good also for day trading due to their quick price movement.

I think it's common knowledge that we will look into the price first if we can afford to invest before we will check their value. I would say buying a valuable project plus a good price, which will be relatively stable is the BEST way to go after.. Because, in crypto we have a big volatility in price. Moreover, a strong project with useful product or ecosystem will be a good choice. Take the current Gigzi project, which has a valuable ecosystem backed by a strong price (relatively stable by precious metals, like Gold.) This is a good choice for investment.
