Note how most of the shills will post POS models that are not RPC1.0 BTC codex based, be aware of this likely garbage that does not facilitate p2p cpu2cpu staking.

Wisdom
Now there is a bear market and all the coins have lost much in price, time to buy coins that have the ability to staking. I have already bought a few and advise everyone to have a few such coins in my cryptocurrency portfolio, this is a very good opportunity to get a small constant profit and cover unsuccessful attempts to trade)

You are free to post info on any staking coin you wish here.

But I am not aware of these projects.

The above list is for mostly pure POS chains that use the btc codex + 1000days of proof of stake/network.

SPRTS is killer.

Agree.

More on why some kinds of POS are not included ... NEO,dcr,eth,waves,steem ...
Running Stakepool is inherently a specialized task;
Running Delegate is even more so a specialized task;

Standard POS is dead simple anyone can do it on any PC with an internet.

Does Decrediton support solo staking?

".....the difference payout-wise is miniscule between using a stakepool and solo staking.

It'd be great if everyone ran their own solo staking node, but you need to be very certain it's online 24/7 and well-connected. It's inherently a specialized task, as even a Dockerized version would require deploying and keeping up with server monitoring and node upgrades.

And once more stakepools go zero fee, there will be even less of a reason to run your own node. IMO more stakepools need to go zero fee and upsell services. I suspect we will see precisely this when dcrstats.com launches their own prediction market token; an additional UI would need to be built out for it. A similar thing would need to happen if we launched Ethereum as an embedded ledger on top of Decred....."

The above wording was taken from this thread where you can find more help: https://www.reddit.com/r/decred/comments/725ilp/is_dcr_solo_mining_is_so_stupid_for_a_beginner/

I do not know if you call dropil token for staking. But I am holding of these coin, and it generates a total of eight percent per monthly payout. It gives me a good dividend for a month just by depositing the token on their platform.

I wonder if there will be a reduction in the number of other networks after switching to Ethereum POS. The market can also produce shocking results.

My heaviest POS coin will be Neo at this moment, I hold some deeponion and Smartcash as well. At the same time, I am hosting Smartcash masternode.
 I am waiting for ETH to launch POS, it will take over Neo as my heaviest POS coin.

I pretty new to the staking coins, but as I hear that IDEX is launching a staking node, I have directly bought the amount of AURA for staking. I have no idea how profitable it would be, but I have big hopes for it.

AURA isn't very known.
Ethereum was said to shift to POS algo.  When that happen I think there will be lots of us going to keep buying Ether to stake. There isn't just an exact date when they'd be doing this. I've read they'd still be POW and will have the halving too. Voted for Cloak and STratis as they are already known and has good reputation.

The POW to make sure the chain will keep its decentralized. POS to give the advantages to the token holders. Speculators will decide when to buy it  after there will be an exact date about when it will be implemented any change can happen.
At least AURA has an active product and it will enough to liquidate the reward.

Those coins are great but I doubt that the staking mechanism is still profitable. ROI is pretty small and even if you stake DASH, you will firstly need 100k USD and it will last for at least 10 years until you will get your coins back.

NEO is not a staking coin, you can hold it in your wallet and you will get GAS without leaving your wallet open. This is a much better way of getting passive income as you only need to invest in a quality coin without leaving your computer on 24/7

Staking coins is not so much profitable, how it seems. Most of coins will not survive before you even get back your investments. But I beleive in two projects, which has a great potential - Ontology and Tezos.

Which coins stakers choose to invest and stake depends on each investor's investment perspective, so I don't want to fall into over discussion about it. Today, I simply want to point out some key things relate to coin staking and investments in PoS/ MN coins. 1) Most of them have high inflation rates, that mean the longer you hold your coins, and stake them, the lower the price are. it's undeniable facts due to basic influence of high inflation rate. 2) They always have pumps and dumps, so stakers should not naively hold their coins and stake continuously; whenever coins pump they should take profits and try to get their capital back first. 3) Always regularly check their staking coins, their wallets to see that they have been on right chains or not; because staking on wrong chains can bring lots of fake staking rewards, that will automatically dissapear when wallet syncs on right chain later.

Seems good to be true. But we cannot risk investing some money on a coin that was not aiming for a longer term. Really sorry to tell you that. but it was just a warning to people entering to this.

Is it right to add this Decoin (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3311450.0) to the list, since I think he's pure POS. Trading is already started in his own exchange, have not so much volume because it's in newcomer exchange, but it have the lowest price limit, so can't sell or buy at a certain price.

Its not convincing yet. Because it may have already its independent exchange. But their 24hr volume yet was very low, so many users are still not into it. And it may be prone to be delist at any time, if conditions not met on trading volume.

Relating to staking, and stakers, to earn profits from their investments in Proof-of-Stake coins (mostly have masternodes), stakers should remember that they have to pay their attention on inflation rate, and schedule of inflational changes over different phases of block number. They have to observe those schedules very carefully to make their periodically cashing out and waiting dumps of cheap coins to buy their interest coins back. Such PoS coins usually are dumped and pumped at important block numbers at which inflation rates change.

That's the result if you are investing/staking to the coins that are not too popular. The estimation that the sites like masternodes.online is not reliable all of the time because the market is changing from time to time.
And what's worse than this? you can be a victim of a scam coin that's running themselves in a staking to attract more investors. It happened before but I can't remember those coins but there's always a way to search them online.
