2019 seems to be a new hope for crypto, because some developments will probably occur that year, for example Ethereum will soon fork as a refinement and as a means to increase prices, do you all believe 2019 will be better for crypto currency?

I also believe that in 2019, the cryptocurrency will develop to a new height, and the bull market will gradually come.

2019 is a year for continuous development, just as 2018 was. Developed alot of forks, tokens, dumps and lessons too
But if you say developments are as a means to increase prices, i do not entirely believe so.

But i believe the future is a positive one for the future,
crypto currency, blockchain and artificial intelligence is the future.

Atleast we can stay positive and hope for a better new year for crypto market, you talked about ethereum's upgrade and developments, i think yeah that event alone can evoke positivity in the market as something new will be offered by one of the biggest project in the crypto world, i personally think that if eth can break 1000 mark after these upgrades and then the high level of 1400 then we can easily see 2000 to 2500 a reality but first eth to make a radical move upwards in coming couple of weeks.

No one can say about it. Because so many drama happened on this year. Especially regarding ETF. I don't think this drama will end even next year. It's true something is positive for ethereum but it doesn't mean it will effect whole crypto market. Actually there is possibility to green crypto market if there is no negative news. Mostly crypto now depend on news. If some positive news crypto start pump instantly. If  there is negative news crypto start dumping hard. There is another problem is wrong prediction, if btc become downtrend then we think it will more down, once it's go up trend we think it will go more up. That's the reason for current dump I think. However we expect next year will change something about crypto, still there is few positive news on January. I am expecting crypto will move uptrend from February next year. Let's see our luck.

This year was bad for all cryptocurrencies. I saw last year also has bitcoin hardfork and all market was downed. But this year without any reason's market downed lot of. Anyway next year sometimes will be good or after 2020 good year for all cryptocurrencies.

Lets hope so. This year has been one of the worst years in bitcoin history, even in 2014 it was november when the price went down and it took sometime to go back up but that period consisted of 2015 as well, the price went UP and DOWN in 2014 so we can't really say it was a bad year as a whole.

2018 has been horrible all alone, without ever going up it just went down and down. I really hope since the period has been bad for a whole year it should not moving it to 2019 as well. I mean maybe the early days could be bad again who knows and maybe it will go up a bit and go down again but I doubt it could be as bad as 2018 as a whole, it really will pick up from here and move upwards hopefully. I just assume it can't break the all time high right away but at least a bit of improvement would be really welcomed.

I remember last year this times. We were talking about great things. Every cryptocurrency holders were thinking about Lambo, good apartments and luxury. We are thinking our investment now. 2018 was a disaster for all of us. I hope we will have a good 2019, but I am not sure it will be.

i don't think so. the dumps are near the end and we may continue seeing whales dump altcoins that still haven't reached their bottoms for another 4-6 months before it ends. but for most of them the dump has been over for a couple of months now so it is safe to say that they (usually smaller cap altcoins) will be pumping from the beginning of 2019 while bigger altcoins continue to dump.

Well it can't possibly be worse than 2018. I am cautiously optimistic about 2019. I guess it could go up because people feel like they can get a free forked coin.

AS far as 2019 goes, I think we will see more of the same, bearish and crashing.
I don't think we've seen the bottom yet.
My guess is that it will stay stable for the next month or so and then crash again.
From the bottom (I'm thinking btc at $2500) it will stay that way most of the year.

I don't think that strong growth should be expected early by next year, it will begin only when decentralized applications and coins on the blockchain begin to be used massively, when the blockchain will find real use in life in the world. Bitcoin showed obvious problems with scalability, remember how the network lagged at the beginning of the year, on the hype, the transaction delays and huge commissions? From my point of view this is the right behavior in general, and I'll explain why do I think so. Since no prediction can be regarded as a reliable one, why feel bad for no reason? I think that the US SEC will finally make a positive decision on some ETF in the first quarter of 2019, because prices can stabilize at the bottom for some time and it would be a crime against investors to not provide them with a good opportunity. Also the launch of Bakkt is round the corner, which will undeniably be a huge step towards mass adoption of crypto currencies. So, I think, yeah, we have a great year ahead.

I hope so. The market is showing some light as it recovers for a small percentage yesterday, probably around 11% increase on some coins. That is why I bought some Ethereum the moment it goes below $100. Still buying it if it goes below to $100 again. For some reason, it looks like the coins that just nosedived has a high possibility of recovering than any other coin.

No one can categorically say for sure what the year have in hold for us. Just the year that just ended,  there were many predictions towards having even a greater bullish year than what we experienced in 2017.

Alas! We saw a different thing entirely. All we can do henceforth,  is to just have hope, patience and the courage to go through the year.

Optimistic as always, yes cryptocurrencies will be better for this year. And going on with this year, after few days of new year the market has been quite stable and bitcoin keeps on moving and trying to break the wall of $4,000. And as for ethereum it is starting to breach out $200 which can eventually happen after the said forks. I'm even more happy to see if ethereum will go $300 - $500 before this month ends. It may look high but its possible.

Yes, I think it would be a nice year for the cryptocurrency of 2019. I think that the market will continue to rise and fall unevenly until February. But I think the bull season will begin in February. And after the start bull season, I think the prices of  coins will reach the highest values again this year.

I wouldn't call it a recovery in the last 3 weeks though. The price has been stagnant in the $3600-$4000 levels and it's still in the borderline of another drop. Although we all do hope that 2019 will be a complete opposite, we need to see the market reverse and get to at least $6K and move further away from the last bottom, but it looks like we need more time before we can achieve it.

We can never really tell at this point what 2019 would bring. At the beginning of 2018 we see the price fluctuates and everyone still very bullish but it turn out that everyone is almost wrong.

I do hope that we learn a lot of mistakes in 2019 and not apply in anymore in 2019. Every year is a new hope and not only for crypto. We are still in a  bearish market which can last for years , but we have to believe that all these changes, upgrades and new projects will lead us to more investors entering the space and that a new bull run will start this year.
