Title: The cheapest Altcoin.
Post by: warrior.coins22 on December 12, 2018, 11:33:01 PM
Based on the prices on the cryptocurrency market, what coins are your choice to invest in?

Is buying the cheapest coins, can it be the right choice for now? Please share your opinions and suggestions.

Thank you very much.

What you mean is lower with the ones that currently dipped?

I say that if you're into cheapest coins, choose those that has high volumes so you can trade well with it. If there's no volume but the coin is cheap and you just wanted to buy it, good luck on how long you're going to wait before selling it.

Buying any coin in the dip is a good idea. Most people talking about the cheapest coins has a huge potential to reach the market cap but not all. Because you have to check out about the project future updates on that coin before you buy. Then do your own research before you buy a coin.

Some altcoins go down upto 0.001$ or so.

Research more and you can see the answer.  ::)

we must be careful not to get stuck with cheap coins but end up in rubbish, if you buy cheap coins then you have to know how many communities and project programs in the future, we can see the coin base through the volume on the market.

I think it is better not to focus on price per coin but on the total marketcap, most projects in 2017 have one year vesting period and that should end now and most of these locked tokens are coming to the market and is not good for retail investors because with low volumen this is likely going to crash the prices. I will advice people to buy into projects that are atleast two years old listed on big exchanges

Almost many top 20-30 favorite altcoins down to almost 20-30 times down from their all time highs. Cardano, Ethereum, Digixdao, Golem, Neo and many.  It is real time to buy some of them to get 10 times easily when crypto bounce back in future.

yes, buying coins at the right choice for this time, some people talk to invest in coins that are not listed in the top 10 or even top 100 coin markets and they believe that the coin will succeed.
but for me the best investment is only in bitcoin, or if you want to buy coins from ICO CPT(Contents Protocol Tokens) are the best choice.
they have several big investors from Hashed, Signum Capital, OKEX, Cocoa Ventures (Equity), Arrington XRP Capital, IOST, LD Capital.

The choice for investment by looking at the current market, I prefer Bitcoin. Bitcoin has fallen from its highest price, and it's time to return the price, by buying Bitcoin.
But also do not forget to buy other cheap altcoins that have large volumes on the market.

It is a wise move to buy the cheapest coins today but we have considered the coins that have higher volume. Do some research on the current market of every coin. We can also diversify some of our funds on buying Bitcoin just to make sure that we have also a good investment both Altcoin and BTC.

right now many altcoins are starting to die, for example, Steemit.
they fired a lot of their staff because of this dumpage, that means every other project will do the same to maintain their project or some of them might be closed up because of it.
buying the cheapest altcoin is very risky in this market, of course, another thing that we need to consider before choosing it is its price movement.
how far it went down from its ATH? and what is going on with that project right now? do they still deliver something to the community? or not?

I agree with you it will be totally foolish to directly go on with the cheap coin without knowing its 24 hour daily trading volumes & if not checked investors funds will be locked for 6 months or year or who knows permanently. Its better to invest in Recent ICOs which were in huge hypes like Fantom, Moneytoken, Dxchain, Sentinel Protocol, Money Token etc which are already trading at 10% values as compare to its ICO price but have good volumes. If this project jump on its original price one can easily make huge profits which I feel can happen anytime, Just need to diversify investments strategically to take maximum advantage over time.

You can choose cheap coin as the money you create, or you can choose cheap coin that is safe, it can be BTC or ETH depending on your choice and by learning about them from you. Most crypto currencies are cheap right now because of the previous volatility, but I think the BTC is now merging for you to invest ;D

I will take advantage of buying ethereum, because now ethereum coins are in a low price position and this is the best moment to be used as a way to get profit when prices are high in the future.

Cheap and valuable coins are now very difficult to find, and now the price of new coins in the cryptocurrency market will be high, as bitcoin remains high. Once a coin is cheap, it is not necessarily valuable, and some coins are facing death.

Title: Re: The cheapest Altcoin.
Post by: Herbert2020 on December 13, 2018, 06:54:35 AM
being cheap is not based on price it is based on price AND value or compared to its value. for example if value of bitcoin is $6000 and someone is selling it at $3000 then it means bitcoin is cheap at the moment but if the value of bitcoin is $6000 and someone is selling it at $10000 and it has fallen from $20000 it does NOT mean it is cheap it still means it is overvalued.

that is the case with most altcoins. they have no usage and the bag holders are leaving so the current prices are still not considered cheap.

Do not try for only the cheapest coin but you should invest in good and then search for the cheap price coin. There are many in the market that is in cheap price but among them I think only TRON and DIMCOIN good coin for investing.

Go to https://athcoinindex.com/

Look at the top 50 list and basically buy anything which is 90% from ATH. Which is alot of coins.

Just ignore the Tether and the other stablecoins as those really aren't coins and some coins such as ZCASH have an incorrect ATH price due to a huge Poloniex pump at launch, but the rest seem pretty accurate.

If Crypto is alive in 2-3 years from now, you probably will make good money buying these very cheap coins.

The problem with this crypto-space is that a lot of investors do not really want to learn and they also do not want to understand that it is not always about how cheap a coin is, it is always about how useful the coin or the token is going to be in the long run. The most important thing is to identify markets with great prospects, see how their price relates with history and how oversold they are, then you can know whether it is cheap or not. A market at $1 could be classified as cheap and good to buy as it has prospect, while even some market at $0.0000000000001 will be too expensive as they are worthless.

do not go for cheaper coins, if a coin is cheap it doesn't mean it will go up. do your research and invest in quality projects, look at their github commits, see the only projects that are going to moon are the ones that are still building in this current bear market.

not a matter of choosing the cheapest and most expensive coins. the most important is the potential of a coin, not from its price. a lot of small coins was ranked top in coinmarketcap but everything looks good and even has the potential to provide a profit more than other more coins have great prices.

The most undervalued altcoin could be NEO for now.

That's true, now is the right time to start an investment, most of the altcoin prices have drastically decreased prices. Especially ETH, the ATH achieved by ETH last year was $ 1200 and now the price of ETH is $ 90 so you can assess and ensure that the price is a good time to invest. For potential problems, I will not talk too long because everyone will know the potential of ETH so it is regrettable if you intend to invest but do not choose ETH on your list.

The cyrpto-space is dimly lit.  Even with good research under your belt,  you are taking chances with your fiat.

This entire space assumes you have fiat money you could burn in a fire in your back yard and wouldn't miss it the next day.  That's the kind of fire you are playing with when discussing what to invest in based on price.

The whole use case seems to get swept under the rug in the rush to invest and make profits from the latest masternode project out there, etc.  Use cases won't truly be known until the masses start piling into crypto.  Until then, it's just a promise of a carrot.  Even large, enterprise teams with powerful products are finding it to be an uphill battle.  The masses are kept clueless about crypto (and in fear of it) by the owned press, and the battle for the minds of the masses is exactly what we are all in the middle of here.

Whether you buy crytpo outright, work for it on bounties, trade for it, or accumulate airdrops, there is no way to choose winners in this market, plus the technology is evolving fast.  The coins that come out next year will be superior technologically than the ones from this year and last.

Your best bet is to cast a wide net and create as many stacks as you can and hold for dear life.  Most will fail, some will win.  Don't be caught red-handed when the wealth transfer begins (without a bunch of stacks.)

I don't go with ICOs so I don't really suggest those that are brought up with hypes.

It's likely to end quickly so I'd rather suggest that go with those cheap coins that are very much popular and has good volume with progressive team that have been working with their product.

Actually, buying a coin with potential is more realistic than buying a coin that is the cheapest. Although, you receive more coin for the same price, the price increase is based on the project development, community size and etc.

Not all low priced altcoins can build momentum to provide you profits as most of them can be shitcoins, though the same goes if the altcoins are shitcoins but might be given value when the right time comes specially if the market is on a bull run. So the best way for you to make profits is by checking either the price and volume movement of these altcoins or checking its potential to grow.

No, buying the cheapest coins is not a wise strategy because such coins are either backed by a failed or dead project or most commonly have huge supply that amounts to billions if still you want to invest in any of such coins then do proper research before investing.

Don't buy the cheapest coins, check the circulating supply and market cap. If a coin has ridiculous amount of coins and a very big cap, don't buy it. It probably have no more space to go up.

Buying cheap coins randomly is not the right choice, because it could be after buy it the price will be back to drop more. So to avoid bad things like this, before buying make sure to do an analysis first and adjust between fundamental and technical, from here you will find the answer.

There is not much to think about. Take the coins from the top 20 and buy each for a certain amount of money. Further wait - the profit is provided. Some coins can bring a loss, but the main thing is that there should be more lucrative coins.

It is never about the cheapest coin, you can buy the cheapest coin right now and you will still be holding a shit coin and that is even more detrimental than the long term profit you are looking for as you will be subjected to be bagholding shitcoin forever. When it comes to investing in a market, you can deem it cheap based on how you see great value in the market itself, and in this case, you are looking for quality and not just quantity.

I think it's better for you to observe some of the coins that you will invest before you start investing and I think buying cheap coins will not necessarily give you an advantage, but many people buy coins when the price falls because at that time the prices they could not buy were able for them to buy and according to them the coin will benefit.

Your suggestions and opinions are very helpful, we need to know that every investment is certain with the aim of making a profit. Can be interpreted by buying when cheap, and of course selling it when the price rises. You are right, someone must really choose coins that are more than 2 years old that have been listed on a large exchange, so their potential has been tested. Make sense.

This is not the right way to invest. Cheap coins are usually not favored by investors. I have to admit that there must be a very good coin in the future, but it is very difficult to find such a coin. In fact, investing in mainstream coins is the safest, and investing in bitcoin can give you peace of mind.

Choosing the right crypto to invest and make profit from once the recovery has started is quite hard right now. Also, not all coins qould be able to recover the downfall. And infact, those that are having market value of below 1usd are those which are usually dying at times like this and is not being affected by pumps so maybe, it won't be a good idea to invest on cryptos as such and to rather just hold for now.

Before you can think of what to buy, you would need to first look into what you have to invest. There are so many good coins in the crypto space, but you cannot buy them all.
So make your choice  from the good ones, buy and hold.

you should choose based on market volume not just cheap coin.
cheap coin with low volume only made you stuck there and in the end you sold it below your buying price.
choose a coin with a high volume you can check it on CMC.

That's right, it's better to buy altcoins that have just been listed on the market but have cheap prices like Ixx that has been listed on cryptology.com
coin cryptosoul which has been listed in several exchanges (ecex, mercatox, hotbit)
or also the eos coin which is predicted to have good prices in the new year.

I guess you should invest much in ethereum. It is really promising to see how ethereum will going to recover as soon as ETH 2.0 dominates the market in 2020 I guess. But you may buy coins with a huge volume since many is buying it.

storiqa reach their hard cap when doing an ICO and that was an extraordinary thing, current price stq is very cheap try to invest on stq.

Cheap coins are indeed very interesting to make it an investment, but, will the price improve? or maybe, the price will continue to sink and eventually become extinct in the market, very risky

Indeed, there are lots of cheap coins and this we need foresight to be able to invest, and with cheap coins, but potentially that is what we have to get. One by one the coin must be able to know the ins and outs and movements in the market so that we do not choose wrongly.

I think the price of Credits is really low. Today, a little explanation about their partnership with IBM has been made and has risen to some extent, but that is not enough. Because I thought it would be very nice places in the next bull run, I invest Credits.

You know, it is very dangerous now to invest in the cheapest altcoins or, it is better to say, tokens with the smallest market cap. The prices of the cryptocurrencies are going down still and some alts can disappear.

I would only invest around 50% in speculative cheap coins. Of that perhaps 25% in reasonably good ones like Monetha, with the remaining 25% in shitcoin speculation where you might get lucky. Half should be in top 20 coins like NEO or ZEC for better stability

It seems to me that you can buy any coins from the list of top 50-100. These are all very promising projects that can give a good profit in the future. But the question is when will the bottom of the market. If you buy now, you can go into minus. Better to wait. And also you need to understand that any investment in cryptocurrencies should be regarded in the long term

buying the cheapest coins is not a guarantee of getting an advantage, including expensive ones, if you want to trade you must have good and correct trading techniques such as choosing the right altcoin for long-term investment. do not be tempted by a cheap price, but start investing by analyzing the coin first before deciding to invest in it.

True, there are lots of cheap coins but not the best. We must be able to analyze and study each coin so that it is not trapped.
Prices also cannot guarantee that they will have many advantages but the quality of these coins.

Cheap coins or cryptocurrencies is also worth to invest some of them are really good investments. I guess some of the cheap cryptocurrencies have a stable price and it not more volatile than other cryptocurrencies. If I have a chance to invest right now I think I will choose the little expensive coins and its depends to the people who will invest if they prefer cheap or expensive altcoins.

Probably Ethereum unlike the price of it for the few months you can see the price of it today, most of us look at this scenario as a chaos since all of their investments are gone but for me I look to our situation as an opportunity to invest rather than looking at it as chaos and surrender and accept that i lose all of my investments.

Actually all of the coins in the market are cheap you should just choose the right altcoin that you think will have a future.

I think you should not rely on the value of a coin because many coins are cheap but have no potential, valuable applications will probably disappear in the future. Instead you should carefully examine everything about the coin you want to buy as a life-cycle, potential, team, ... instead of considering the value you should consider these.

In my own preferrence of buying Altcoins, I will go for a trusted, has potential and easy to bounce back when there is plummet, prices may only be a bonus. Though we have different strategy in aquiring our Altcoins of choice but still we have some similarities  depending on the market condition and capital. Some wants to buy lots of coins so they prefer cheaper ones some wants to buy for long term purposes so they buy reliable Altcoins like Ethereum, LiteCoin, BCH, Dash so on and so forth. For me buying the cheapest coin is good but since market isn't stable much better to have the right coin not the right price.

Buying the cheapest might nit be the right choice, but buying a good coin that is cheap is will be the right choice.
There are different ways in which you can identify a good coin.
- If a coin has just been newly listed, it must either have a well developed product or at least, a MVP.
- It must have an active team
- It must have a vast community
- There must be active channels of communication.
- It's development must follow what is on the roadmap

As market conditions the cheapest altcoins has many by coinmarketcap. NPXS, VET and Credits is best coin to invest and of course cheapest price.
Price of coin shouldn't be a reason to enter trade by genius trader. Marketcap of mentioned coins is lower and supply means a lot in this business. Risking only 5% of portfolio is acceptable in order to buy cheap altcoins but risking more than red line can be suicide on purpose.

A coin might be very cheap and very much affordable, yet you might later not be able to sell it, because by the time other investors discover it cannot profit them, at that point, the volume begins to reduce, which might then lead you into selling at a very low price, compared to the amount it was bought.

There are 2 types of CBC at https://coinmarketcap.com. do you mean CashBet Coin (CBC) or Cashbery Coin (CBC)?
Yeah, I think Bob's Repair (BOB) is a good choice. Bob's Repair (BOB) is a long-term project, so it's good for long-term investment.

We can see the market trend now and previously that even so called undervalued and cheapest coins are also rising high in prices. So consider team, technology, reputation before investing in coins.

Cheap coins are not necessarily good. What you should be looking out for are good crypto projects that have undervalued coins. That being said, most of the coins in the market are utility tokens at the moment, not security token, so the value does not tie to the company's or project's performance.

I think that regardless of the market situation, you should be guided when choosing a coin by its perspective in the future. I had to be convinced of this already a large number of times that the price of a coin is not a factor which may indicate its potential investment attractiveness. I am also very calm about investing in top coins. My personal investment experience suggests that you need to invest not in them but in projects with small capitalization. An example is my investment in the ETA token. This is a project of Etheera. This is a little-known Swiss project, in which I invested several months ago, and during this time I made a profit of more than five hundred percent.

Buying the cheapest coins can be a good choice because the cheap coins price can increase higher. If we can use a big balance to buy, and when the price increases then we can make a big profit too. For example, we buy rdd, doge, verge, beancash, and the price can increase two times from the buy price we got, then it means our profit will bigger too. Or we can use the cheap coins as the investment too, and we don't sell in a very long time.

You don't spend a lot of capital if you buy it when the price is low, what matters is that you are sure and always raise that you can definitely benefit.

I think the issue of price whether it's expensive or cheap is not a measure to determine a good investment asset. progress along the development that has been made and a good long-term plan is the right consideration. some cheap altcoins may now have a good price in the next few years, if the development team works well.

Yes you right, the cheapest coins are best for investment at the moment, and you should even buy valuable cheap coins such as stellar, nem, ripple, waves, eos, cardano, even etherum is very cheap at the moment alongside bitcoin sv and its likes

You need to be sure why you are investing in these tokens and also get your priorities right.

Almost many top 20-30 favorite altcoins down to almost 20-30 times down from their all time highs. Cardano, Ethereum, Digixdao, Golem, Neo and many.  It is real time to buy some of them to get 10 times easily when crypto bounce back in future.
The top 20 was the best for now to buy, And some of their prices was down for now.
But for ill think it depend on the people of they want to buy or not, But for me ill buy few of them but the potential altcoins only.

Be careful if you depend on the people because they cannot always right for making a decision, and you might get a trap too. It is better to make our own analysis by searching as many information as we can so we can have better analysis than the other. By the way, maybe you can take a look at the top 50 list in the coinmarketcap, and I hope that you can get one or two coins that will worth to buy later.

Indeed, the right time to invest is when the price of the coin is cheap, because at that time we can buy it cheaper and allow us to get a big profit. But, not all coins purchased at cheap prices will benefit. So, it all depends on how you observe the development of the coin whether it has the potential to increase and reach its highest point or it will fall even more.

If you are investing and any coin just because of the fact that the prices where cheap then it doesn't make any sense. You need to only by the coins when you know that it is the capability of growing more expensive in the future I don't just buy anything even if the coin is available for to less price.

Buying the coins that are not expensive or that have the lowest price is relative.
The lowest price you can think of and that you can buy so many coins, is at 1 gwei. I can assure you of so many shit coins at that price, but buying them can be quite risky.
So many of these coins might not rise above 1 gwei and it they would, it will be for a short while, which you might not be aware of.
There are times that the developer himself is the one dumping on investors.

Cheap altcoins are also very different. These tokens have different total supplies. If project has billiards of tokens, it can be a good decision to buy it's tokens. But if the project has a small total supply, it means that it's capitalizations is also small. I think that investing in projects with good products and cheap price is a good strategy

I would wait in your place until the end of March and only then would start investing in cryptocurrencies. Look carefully at the new projects, as it is likely that now there will be new good projects and one of them will be the top.

My suggestion is you can short the cheapest altcoin from the CoinMarketCap in under $10, for example, and then you take a look one by one of the project. And if the project is on the top 100 list of the CMC, then I think you can keep it for a while until you can get at least 10-15 coins to buy. When you can collect the information of the 15 coins list, then you need to short it again until you can find 5 coins that you think it's good to buy. That is what I did so far, and although it doesn't guarantee to works, at least you can have a good investment from each coin.

Depends what coins you're talking about. If you buy those that have not yet reached their maximum in price, it is quite risky, when buying such a coin, you need to conduct a detailed analysis. If you choose those that have already proven themselves in the market, then there are fewer risks and the main thing is simply to choose the best time to enter and sell.

I totally agree because if the coin is cheap doesn't mean it is good to buy, we must always look on other views like the trading volume or consistent development of the project because this will affect the coin price if its going up or down.

That is the principle of choosing altcoin for investment. We should look for altcoin that has a high volume every day to ensure liquidity and it is traded by many people. And then look at the price, if we only look for cheap altcoin and don't care about volume, that's a mistake. It is possible that we will invest in dead or dying altcoin

In my opinion the cheapest altcoin only gives a lot of benefits, when the crypto market price rises, but the risk is very high if the coin we choose to invest the more the price goes down and vice versa if the cheapest coin increases the value of the day the profit we get .

Now, I'm still holding Ethereum, I believe its price will increase in the future. If you are going to buy the cheapest coin, you should give up that idea because if it doesn't have a large volume, you'll never sell it.

If you buy it now, there are lots of cheap coins found in the bear market, just choose according to taste, but to risk consider again and learn the character of each coin before deciding. The game of the bear market is very risky so clever in managing coins will be better.

Low prices do have an appeal because they can buy a lot and spend a little capital, but you also need to know about the coins you choose.

do not be easily affected because of the low value of coins, you must know the advantages and disadvantages and various other things.

The market movement is not so good now so investing in some low market cap cheap coin is very risky because if another big dip come, those project will die for ever. I think you should put much attention on the top 10 or top 20 at maximum for now. It will be a wise decision.

I don't mind to hold the cheap coin for a long time especially if I am sure that the price can increase. It is why that I need to research before I buy a cheap coin. I remember when xvg, rdd was in the very low price but the wall of order buy and sell was too big and then suddenly, the price moves higher and helps me to make a bigger profit. I think this could happen this year or in the next years again because cryptocurrency still growing until now.

So right now when you take a look at the market, you can see some really nice and affordable coins/tokens.

A really nice performer has been HOT (Holochain). This cheap coin has shown nice growth 20+% during the last week.
ADA, TRON, IOTA, ZIL, XVG - all of those are shoots to take. Can reek in some nice profit when bull happens.

XLM
Hydro
Tronx
Digitex
Ada

There are a lot of them. For someone eve BTC with a price 20 000 is too cheap. As for me, quite normal price around 0.01$. Like DexAge ICO has. With a discount and a referral bonus it's even lower. But, as I already said, it's different for all of us)

the cheapest coin, does not mean the best coin for investment. because it could be cheap coins because nobody bought it. or the absence of a sale and purchase process. so don't be fooled by the price of coins. the most important thing to buy coins is to see the quality of the coin, the platform, the team. if they all have good experiences, then their coins are good for investment.

If today this or that project can really have a cheap price, then it is not at all certain that the same project after some time will not cost even less or more. The forecasts are really not very interesting. Therefore, I think that in general it is not quite normal.

Now you can take any coins you want, red market create low price but you need to read trend and calculate your asset before buy. Every coins have the same chance to survive, like or not number 2 - 5 from coinmarketcap list is the coins to chose. Not suggest new but old, which one up to you.

It is not the cheapest that is profitable. Look for coins with huge volume and good long-term potential. As long as a project has a good potential it can be profitable in the future.

What you said make sense but I'm a kind of person that dont believe only the top 100 coins on the CMC(capital market) can only yield a good profit whereas alot of experience traders are making alot of $$ from some coins which are not on the top 100 list.
What every crypto currency traders or investors need the most is knowing the right time to enter and exit the market once a person have the knowledge such person can trade any coin and if people are complain of making losses such person will make profit.

Since it has a total supply of 274.555.193.861 NPXS and a market cap of $94.028.706 USD the price is not an indication of a potential upward trend.

If the coins lie at the very bottom, then there is a very high probability that they may not rise from it.
Of course, some of them have prospects, but it makes sense to invest in them when you see growth prospects.

You can to some research to get some very good coins and a closer look will help to determine if the price is good for buy or not.

Surpisingly, 90% of the altcoins has lost their best value from 100% to 1000%. You just need to look for some website that will give you those informations so you can do a comparison. If you want to be safe, just invest on the top 30- 50 altcoins because they are the ones who easily recovers when the market recovers.

Never buy a coin just because it's cheap. Usually they are cheap as the project behind is not going well or if the total supply is very high.

Instead of looking at a coin's price you should focus more on what is happening behind this coin: team, whitepaper, milestones etc.

You are right. You don’t buy a coin based on being cheap or not. There are lots of cheap coins in the market, but if you should buy based on that, you will be losing cause majority of them are not worth it. Ripple is cheap and it’s also a good coin, so you can buy it. As for Bitcoin, you can buy in fractions (satoshis) if you don’t have enough money to buy one full Bitcoin. Even Ethereum is cheap now. If you want to buy coins, buy the good ones and not looking for something cheap.

I think you need to make your own research.

I do see almost 90% of investors from this forum are using coinmarketcap for referring and finalizing the coins for their portfolio but not sure how effective this will be as they are listing coins for payments. I mean we should not choose just based on their ranking systems.

In that case, you can have hints on what to buy for your desired term like long term, short term, etc. It will ensure your profits and at the same time can help you learn how to trade.

Naturally, the price does not depend so much on the price of the altcoin. The cheapest ones (yes!) can bring you a lot of profit but only in this case when you buy the best tokens and choose the coolest projects.

Your suggestion is right. It is good to buy cheap coins at any opportunity you have especially during the bear markets when they are in their possible worst state. Your profits will always come.

Agree, cheapest coin does not mean its profitable coin. Its better choose coin with good product and having big community. Investment base on the price seem not right and investment base on project looks good option. If we invest on large market cap, its must be a good coin with good liquidity in market

Why would you choose the cheapest altcoin if you can even buy those with huge price? But you can buy low amount of it but still can gain profit throught it, it doesn't matter how much what matter is if it bullish.

Buying the cheapest coins, in my opinion, is very important. By buying cheap coins, of course, we have to be careful and look for coins that have good potential. And if the price of coins rises, of course, fortunately, we will certainly be big enough. But we must be patient because the price growth process is certainly slow.

Proper research and good anticipations, there's still coins/projects that can deliver after some time of holdings, its time consuming but if
you really wanted to earned from this market you need focus and keep hunting those cheap coins that have good potentials to grow after

And about the coins, you need to look at the purpose for which they were created, study, so that there are not too many of them, pay attention to the information support of the coins and the stated plans. Please note that it was independent, so that its creator could not influence the exchange rate by quantity. Do not forget that the basic principle of the blockchain is complete freedom without external influence, if you are not in a hurry with projects where the team of creators is indicated, they are weak, you do not buy models, examples of the influence of governments in the team of creators can be seen every day, some sign in other countries readings with banks and loses in the main course, someone else dies and closes the exchanges, Incognito is security.

It's the easiest thing to do by yourself. To find the most cheapest projects just get to coinmarket cap and sort ascending the price column (or descending circulating supply column). I know many Chinese projects like to set up huge amount of circulating supply and very tiny price per token/coin (like DACC). But to be honest there is no need to search for low price projects. Only capitalization matters.

lots of cheap coins, but in my opinion you should not be tempted by cheap prices because it is not necessarily good so you are looking for a cheap price but have good potential and can be convincing in the future. You have to research before choosing or buying so you know the weaknesses and strength of the coins you buy.

now there are lots of coins at low prices because the market goes down so it's a good time to buy them because the coins that have great potential are currently low in value and you can choose them.

the problem is to find the new coin that can do a big % of price grow...we must look for coins that are not ico or bounty but people are too stupid for this....I regret I did not get bought coins like litecoin, vertcoin or viacoin when they were very very low in 2015...there is a good dose of luck of course, but you must always do your own researches...for example watch Elicoin in livecoinwatch , is not an ICO or bounty... it's a coin with low mc, low supply, PoW whit cpu, no premine, active dev...only trading it on CREX24 for now...do you own researches in the thread in bitcointalk: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3028302.0... people are too stupid for DYOR and got scammed by ICO or bounty...just my 2 cents...hope it helps...cheers

I would not focus on the value of a coin when investing in cryptocurrency. It is much better to learn how to separate scam projects from innovative ones. Despite the fact that Bitcoin is very expensive, I recommend buying BTC. If you have a limited budget for investment, then you can buy BTC gradually.

I believe that there are a lot of projects that get pumped sharks without a reason. That's what I learned in 2017, when a project on paper is also pumped up at an unbelievable price. Of course at the present time buying BTC is not a bad choice

We don't need to buy the cheapest, what we need is to buy an undervalued coins.
The market will rise then that could will surely give us a good return, but for now we need to be willing to take a risk, although
there are some doubts in the market but we have to be smart to act accordingly in difficult times, that includes taking advantage of the cheap price.

I am agree. There is big different between cheapest price and undervalue coin. Many token or coin having cheap price but the project not running again. Undervalued coin means the project working and having working product but because market condition, the price not reflecting the fundamental

Not all cheap coins are good and can be profitable so you are not easily affected by low prices.

Buy cheapest coin can be profitable but also will be very risky because alot of coin that has price around 1 or 2 sathosi that tradeable on the exchange is no buyer in orderbook, so that mean seller can not sell their coin. Only buy cheapest coin if that coin tradeable in big exchange and that coin has high trading volume.

Indeed buying the cheapest coins is a lot but the profitable one must be managed well. If you take the cheapest coins but can't manage and eventually die, it's also useless. So buying the cheapest coins and having the potential and management must be right for profit.

I would like to know, why is the reason to choose the cheapest coin?
In my opinion, what decide the quality of a project/coin is not from it's price, it would be from the project or the usability of that coin itself.
When ever it has high demand and high usage, most likely that would be the sign of good coins.

You already gave some likely answers, but do you know that most believe that a coin with good potential and low price is likely going to give more profits in the future.
Why do you think traders usually bid low for a coin, most especially the good ones, despite its unique use case? It is because they know that buying low has the prospect of yielding good profit later in future. Take a look at BNB, while it was around $0.5 or less, compared to its present price. Whoever bought then and has it till now, is already a millionaire depending on the amount he has.

Personally I set my sights to lofty coins, I usually just go my shopping from the top 30 coins on CMC but it is hard to get any cheap token from that category, most are expensive but they still give good returns though.

Now I’ll think that all Altcoins are quite cheap, almost all have sunk to 80-90% of the peak cost, but I agree with many, you should first study the project, watch daily volumes, you can buy a completely empty coin.

There may be many cheap altcoins on the market today. However, not all the altcoins which are inexpensive are quite worth the investment. With the bear market that started last year, many altcoins have declined drastically in price. It's only a matter of time which altcoin proves to be the best in terms of development and innovation. There are many reasons why an altcoin is extremely cheap (which are not limited to the bear market). Such reasons could be lack of development, high supply, or even unawareness on the market.

By studying different altcoins that are cheap, you can determine which one is the best for long-term investments. A great indicator of an altcoin's activity is the trading volume across the market. There are plenty of cheap altcoins that are worth less than $0.01 but have good trading volume. If you’re deeply into the cheapest altcoin yet, with an extremely active community, then I suggest that you consider LiteDoge. It's an altcoin that aims to improve on Dogecoin with better features such as PoS and lower block times.

Because of its inexpensive nature, and PoS design, fees are ridiculously low and transaction speeds are blazing fast. It's quite impressive for an altcoin which is very low on market cap, with its inexpensive price. Nonetheless, it's best to always do our own research in order to choose an ideal altcoin that will last for years to come. Because, if we choose the wrong altcoin, then we could be left holding the bag as developers and the community abandons it. Just my thoughts ;D

Buying cheap coins can be an anticipation to minimize losses, but you have to be more patient waiting for the increase in coins for the profit you expect.
Well, that is true in many cases but another fact associated to that reality is more like a side effect which is that if you always prefer to invest in a coin that is too cheap, you might end up making very little money for normally the coins which show a good value addition are pretty much expensive but right now, in a down market, the expensive excuse would be a lame one.

Buying cheapest coins is almost useless. Buying low capitalisation coins is reasonable sometimes. But you should create a portfolio with different types of coins. I would divide it to 3 categories: low capitalisation, top-100 on cmc and main coins. You should have all of these kinds in your portfolio.

PundiX and other crypto has more potential to gain high price in the future so grab yours now, wait until such time it increases a profitable value. Never give up on cheap coins, and instead of being panic always stay calm, focus on your goals.

In my opinion, the price isn’t relevant, is the coins has good project to support? Is the cois has good future or chance to get popular? Many scam coins have low value and they go down zero after few months. You can waste a lot of money for many low price worthless coins. I think it is better to select carefully and focus more on what the coins good for.

When buying coins, one should not consider their price, but their prospect of growth. No matter how many pieces of coins you can buy, let it be at least one piece. The main thing is how many times a coin can grow from the price at which you bought it. It is because of this indicator you can earn.

Buying cheapest altcoins won't always give you profit later. Usually the cheap altcoin has reason, either it turned to a dead project, or the developers doesn't developing the products anymore. Sometimes you must buy a coin with quite high price, but it is because the demand is high too.
So, buying cheap altcoins is good only if the project and team keep working to developing it.

That's important to keep in mind. No matter which altcoin you invest into, it's important to get the most out of it by selling at a higher price than the one you've originally bought from. Consider Dogecoin, which is one of the cheapest altcoins in the market, yet it's highly volatile giving you the opportunity to buy low and sell high. Of course, this doesn't always work (as one needs to be skillful at trading crypto). But when it does, it'll leave you with some decent profit.

Despite this, if the OP is deeply into the cheapest altcoin, then my suggestion is that he/she would sort the coins from low-to-high in terms of price within Coinmarketcap. It can easily be done by clicking the "Price" tab two times. So far, Bytecoin (BCN) seems to be the cheapest altcoin in the world (although highly undervalued).

Nonetheless, it's up to you to decide which cheap coin is the best for long term investment. If you're lucky, you could easily become a millionaire with prices above the $1 range. :)

Investing on the top 25 altcoins on the coin market cap should do one proud as an investor. You can decide to spread your capital on say like 5 different altcoins from these top ones and be ready to hodl no matter what the market might be saying until you hit your target profit because sometimes one might need to hodl for a year or more.

Exactly. Nearly any cryptocurrency which is available on the market today, has an uncertain future. It's like the Russian Roulette where you can either lose or win it all. As such, you should not focus on prices of any cryptocurrency project, but more on its development and innovation. Of course, most of the expensive coins are highly active in development. However, there are also a few cheap coins which have a solid foundation that will keep them going for many years to come.

As such, if you invest into a good cryptocurrency that's highly popular, you'll be able to preserve your investment for the long term. A good example of this is Ripple (XRP) which is a cheap altcoin with a bright future ahead of it (if banks use it at a large scale). But, it's your responsibility to do your own research before investing into any cryptocurrency no matter how big or small in price it is. Just my thoughts ;D

I think the cheapest coins don't guarantee that the coins are good. In my opinion, buying coins that have the cheapest prices is not the right choice. A good consideration for buying altcoin is not only the price of the coin but also the chance of the coin being successful in the future. Other than that, to determine whether the coin is good or not by looking at the price fluctuations of the crypto currency coin is stable or not.

I don't think cheaper is better when it comes to cryptocurrencies, though the market downturn has made virtually all cryptocurrencies relatively cheap. Cryptocurrencies are the best option to invest in the present times. After the stock market, cryptocurrencies is what lakhs of people are investing in now. Bitcoin being the top-rated crypto is priced at a price that most people cannot invest in. However, you can invest in other altcoins that might offer good returns in the long run. So, if you are looking for cryptocurrencies under US$ 1, then penny Altcoins with high potential is what you can invest in. With 2,500+ cryptocurrencies to invest in, you have varied options to invest in. But choosing the right coin is what you need to research on because all cryptocurrencies are not created equal, and not every coin is going to return a profit.

If you don't buy coins at a low price then the profits you get are small and stay there. Living in the world is a challenge that has no certainty in the future. time to make small things big.
Altcoin is indeed a cheap price compared to Bitcoin, so many Altcoin are cheap.
but not all Altcoin can be profitable so they choose Altcoin that has good potential and quality so that in the future it will be profitable because of its good growth and when the market rises, it can grow higher.

Basing on the price only and call it the cheapest altcoin is not attractive, look for the undervalued coins, because that's the real cheap.

I'm saying coins because there's a lot of undervalued coins now and that is because of the bear period, I'm sure when the price starts to rise, people would say the popular words "I wish I bought when it's still cheap", let's learn from the past, be smart now and start buying the most undervalued coins.

It's wise to look for undervalued coins with good potential. Not all cryptocurrencies are worth the investment nowadays, since most of them are copies one from the other. You would need to explore a specific cryptocurrency you like, in order to determine if it's suitable for you. There are some cheap altcoins that are worth buying due to their active development and innovation. But others, are simply a loss of money because of their limitless supply and abandonment by their developers.

Of course, this current bear market has brought us a huge opportunity to grab many of the well-known altcoins at a discounted rate. If you're lucky, you'll be able to obtain some profit within the next bull market run, if the specific cryptocurrency you've bought, becomes highly viral.

Nonetheless, if you really want a good altcoin that's among the cheapest of them all, then I'd suggest that you consider Dogecoin. ;)
