Market is reeling under extreme pains ,prices are going down and down ,but predictors are still predicting that market will rebound and profitability is round the corner .Can anyone suggest what are the fundamentals on the basis of which it is being predicted.

I think there are two possibilities in the market.
1. The long-term decline has caused more than 60% of investors to leave encryption, and the encryption market has begun to really collapse.
2.Whales/sharks are waiting to buy encryption at a low price, investors are still willing to take over the market, so encryption may usher in a new bull market。

One thing everyone should do is checking history BEFORE 2017...
Alt coins are intrinsecally bound to bitcoin (for now) and they have their own projects being developed, so I can't see why they wouldn't recover, a lot of them have pratical useability and such will depend on the number of users...
as for btc, it still holds almost 3x the value it had before the bull run.... so....

Potential coins that has been on the top has the reliability to recover.

eth prices depend on btc prices to date, the fate of all altcoins is determined by the btc price, all prediction experts now cannot make a clear basis of how recovery will occur.

You're right. Potential coins that keep developing their platform will recover. One of my references is the top 100 coinmarketcap. Ethereum will also recover considering ethereum is the most widely used blockchain platform by application developers.

The bear market has affected all coins because the hype of 2017 has failed to produce results and the regulators have been cracking down. This is has created a downdraft that has affected all coins except the stable coins tied to a fiat currency. When the recovery comes it will based on individual coin producing something of value. Like we recently saw with WAVES rising in price because they released a new mobile wallet.

I think it is just the technical analysis where some traders post that soon market will find bottom and reversal will occur, also the market psychology charts do support this idea but the same time no one can predict the future so we never know when market will reverse from here.

As far as I know, the prices of coins break all the predicted support areas. I think traders can not predict it before. And they are almost expecting to a "surprise" situation, like us.

It is basically the "potential" that altcoins have. There is no scenario in the world where altcoins are useless, which means they are needed in the world and they will be used which means the more they are used the more they will be bought, people will buy them to use them later on.

When they buy altcoins the price naturally will go up. Utility is what makes altcoins worth more than what it is today, lets take ethereum for example, even just games part of ethereum means that there will always be buyers who buy ethereum to later on use it on a game, either its etheremon or cryptokitties or whatever game they want, thats just the game part.

Hence, altcoins are fundamentally needed for many things like that and thats why they have high potential to be valuable in the future as well.

the main reasons for which a cryptocurrency will exist is decentralization, transparency and animosity! these factors will help the cryptocurrency to become more common. fiat currencies do not have these functions

I'll remind you that not everything on the top 100 are reliable. Some are based on hypes and hard to recognize if they are reliable or not so I'll stepping off with those.
