Looking at the red market situation, what did you do and plan at the beginning of Q1 2019? Are you still sure the arrival of the Bull run? If so, you have the same expectations as me now. Hopefully the situation will change soon. Do not give up  8)!! Thank you very much.

Giving up is not an option for crypto community so we have to stay positive and keep supporting the projects we are following, with consistent developments and support of the community im sure market will recover and come out of this bad patch soon.

I think that we will see the growth in the first part of 2019. The Bakkt will be accepted in January. Also NASDAQ will open futures in this time, there are a lot of positive news now.

Yes, i am also of the opinion that there will definitely come bull run not too long. That is why i have bought some cheap tokens that have good usecase with some spare cash. Holding for long time and waiting for the market reversal.

As much i don't want to mind what's the market today, it's painful to watch when all coins are painted in red and graphs are pointing below the ground. I really hoping bull run will come soon just to  ease the pain but i guess its not gonna happen this year and hoping it will come maybe 2-3 months starting next year.

At this moment, december 17, 2018, the market turns to be green but I am not yet confused that it will going to go further till the bullrun enters the market. Maybe I will wait further for much more efficient investment.

Nice positivity. But I doubt 2019 will be as the same as 2018. It will somehow recover but the bullrun you are talking is still questionable since whenever theres a consecutive pricehike happening there is always an equivalent price correction afterwards.

I have a bullish outlook for 2019 and have highlighted late quarter 1 as the beginning of the Bitcoin recovery. With that in mind I am a current buyer of the established altcoins that are currently in a depressed state and will hold these coins until they are well in to a recovery, even if it arrives later in 2019. The key to investing in crypto is to use money that you don't need to touch and can afford to lose.

My plan has been the same throughout this bear season. I have silently been accumulating great project tokens/coins for ridiculously low prices, stockpiling them for a greener tomorrow. It amazes me to see lots of people thinking this bear will last forever and in their thinking, it is wise to sell off now for a considerable loss against losing everything but, they forget to ask if truly this is the case. The market has always been a pendulum, swinging up and down at intervals and so, it is surprising to see that people aren't aiming to take advantage of this bear. The markets will boom again and it will be super great for the wise ones picking up good deals now. Do your research and take the opportunity now!

it seems more people would turn to the margin trade market. normal trading just doesn't seem to cut it. in order to see a better start come 2019, we have to look at bitcoin in the long run, not as an immediate currency. according to google trend bitcoin is losing popularity not because its fundamentals aren't valid but because anyone who hears about bitcoin wants to participate just for the cash sum. most newbies entering the market today are neither knowledgeable or has enough research sense on how bitcoin ecosystem works. most of them just jump in due to fud. with this kind of mentality, more people would continue to dump the market as they are not emotionally strong enough to know that a bear market signals a healthy market.

also, my own thought on the downward decline of ethereum is simple: bad and scam riddle icos. as we all know it there are investors and there are traders. both sets of people participate in icos converting their eth to shitless, worthless ico projects. they lose their eth forever and this tends to reduce the value of eth too as it is used to create more worthless coin, flooding the market  then, later on, this coin infect other healthy ones

I would still keep on buying coins that I believe in especially if its still way below my buying price. Because I know that bulls are coming back this time with Bakkt, fidelity and other institutional investors.

I have a plan to sell my coins IF the market starts to recover the price in 2019, but IF the market still likes this, then I am okay to wait for more. I will never give up and continue to stay always positive. I really believe in cryptocurrency and in my invested projects. The market will surely recover again with the good news (BAKKT etc.) in future. My plan at beginning of 2019? Still continue to hold and to buy more coins.

I would never give up but i lost my trust in this market.. Check the TOP 50 coins, in one year they dropped between 1-30 times down. I think we hit bottom in mid December, and my holdings have made two large run ups in the past month. I think we’re seeing a transition into a bull market once more. I was particularly hoping the market will stabilize in this early 2019 and for us to stand a chance of possible bull run. But my expectations have not been met.

I lost faith in predictions after the first and biggest fall of Bitcoin from $ 20,000, many people whom I respected and listened to, argued that everyone should invest in Bitcoin before it was too late, while they sold their Bitcoins price of $ 20,000, thereby fixing the profit.

I keep telling crypto enthusiasts that bull run always comes like a thief in the night, when no one expects it, and that's when people will FOMO in. Bottom line is, keep holding some coins you believe the project has solid team and great development. Never load up shitcoins hoping for price spike, the devs will keep dumping on you. I think 2019 will be great, that's just optimism for me.

Find out when the growth of the entire market starts, it is almost impossible, we could not properly understand where the bottom of this market, so the only thing that we can, sit and wait patiently for the beginning of the rise in prices

I'm going to hold the coins and just wait for the market to start growing. It will also be possible to invest even more, but only when the market drops even more to the bottom.

I don't expect a bull market beginning for next 6-8 months. My plan is to invest more while the price goes down and I'll be glad to see even 1k price. Actually I don't believe that there will occur any significant and sustainable upward movement until the next BTC halving.

I am hopeful and positive about the next bullrun but I am also realistic. If there is something I have learned from the bearish market situation last year, is that never be too confident about the prediction of many about the future of crypto price. I realized that you need to study and monitor daily the price so you will know how a bit about how you trade.

At this moment Avoid buy orders that almost high in their price maybe it will after buying it and no sell orders will happened until your gonna hold it for a long-term until the price not recovers.

maybe you are among those who bought coins in the past year where prices are very high so the current price looks very sad for you, but for holders who already have Bitcoin and Altcoin far before the increase in 2017 then I think the current price and market conditions still fairly normal.

The situation very tough for crypto market from past six months the value is dipping very fast. From $7000 it reached to $3500 almost half of the value gone done this is very sad and made the investors and lovers of bitcoin in panic condition and few people have sell their coins in panic to avoid loss in the market made much tougher. We believe good time will come in the upcoming months.

I think that's the biggest issue right now there's a general lack of confidence in the market. The fact it didn't dump massively on the ETF news does make it seem like we're at the bottom but you have a market where a good chunk of the people have been hammered over the past year and people are gun shy.

One more week and this bear market will be the longest in the history! But still it is not the worst, if we look at the percentage loss  8).

I don't think bull run will come that early, maybe Q1 2019 is just a slight recovery for the market. When it has too many dumps in the past time

I think the same way you have to endure despite the fact that the market is falling , I think very soon the market may return to growth but of course we can expect a large drop before we go to grow

The  long  bearish market  is quit  discouraging, but checking through  the past  trend and the  volume of trade taking  place  for the  past  7 month  you can be confident that the  bull run will takes  place, ETH hardfork postpone till 27th February 2019 is a major  event  am looking at.

It's not about bull run. But after a long time the market is kind of stable maybe. Cause last year we saw only down and down. That was a very big time bear market. Maybe at this moment the bear run is going but for last one and half months we saw a steady market instead of price drop every day. But still market conditions is not that good every time btc goes to 4000-4200 it come back to 3000-3500 range. There was a heavy resistance in 4000 mark. And a good support at 3300 point. If somehow the support is broken we will see a quick market drop. So trade carefully.

I expect the trend to be bullish in the next few months. There are different prerequisites for technical and fundamental analysis. Now the market has come to life and big movements have begun, this is a very good sign

I think that 2019, most of it, will be no better than 2018. Prices will continue to go down and only at the lowest level will be able to level up. And perhaps at the end of this year, prices will still rise slightly.

I expect stagnation to continue in Q1 with some pumps and dumps. We had bearish situations in the past several times and we know that this type of market could last for long. ETH upgrade  and the launch of  BAKKT  will hopefully give a boost to the market.

To me it's risky to assume we'll another bullrun soon, due to the Mt. Gox reimbursement.  Due to this, the market may go down or sideways for at least another year.  Therefore I went with good dividend tokens like EVOAI.  This way even if you hold for months or years, you can still regularly get paid from the company's profit share.

Were on the same boat, I'm still looking forward for ETH and Bakkt updates to make some impact on the current market condition though its not enough to trigger a bull run but it will help the market to push upward.
