What are your Pros and Cons in live betting and online betting?? which you prefer to bet.
for me live betting is much more excitement because you can see live who you put your bet especially when we're talking about betting in racing but it's more convenient to bet online,

i'm much more of a live betting guy, i love the people shout whenever they're winning or losing but i like to bet online also i'm betting on football and basketball, i'm using vodds (http://vodds.com).

It depends on the gambling regulation in each country because if the state prohibited gambling then the only choice is to use online betting and I think people will prefer to use online betting. Besides that, people don't have to go to the places, and they can watch the result by online, and this will reduce the expenses to go to that place. I prefer online betting too although I join with my friend to place the bets because he is familiar with the betting in sports.

As far as I know live betting isn't legal most of country. Although online betting also illegal but they can't control it. So I think better option for betting or gambling on online. There is many trusted online betting site, you can choose from them. Especially betting with crypro-currency is more easy now. You can live betting fairly if it's legal on your country. Otherwise there might be problem. Eventually I will support online betting if you are interested on betting. However I have not much experience about betting, just observing how to work on it. But I think it's bit risky from trading.

At the beginning I thought that by placing live bets would have given me sure wins. I thought since I am watching the game live to have an edge over the bookies but it is not so. I learned this from tennis games where I placed a bet on the winning player the one who won by a good margin the first set and I ended up losing the game. Live betting is not a good choice for me.

In my country both gambling houses and online gambling are banned. Still, thanks to various bypassing methods, I am able to gamble online. Hence, I prefer online gambling as it is where I am finding myself comfort and excited. Unfortunately I never got chances to feel the convenience with real life casino like OP mentioned.

Betting within friends also very rare in my society.  I have seen gambling sequences in many Hollywood movies but I do not think it will be more entertaining similar to online gambling. There are many sites which are trying to provide experience similar to real life casino but for an online gambler, playing with in their computer must be more comfortable and exiting one. I believe there will be no need of going for real life betting after got experienced with online gambling. 

Based on my understanding, live betting can only be done through online betting.
I do gamble with sports and there I choose whether I bet on pre game or live betting, for me, live betting is more exciting especially if you have a decent amount of capital as you can watch the game and you know what's going on, that way, you chances of winning will increase, but you need to focus.

Regarding sports betting you can get the same excitement while betting online because there are sites which provide you with almost all information you need, including the course of the game at any particular moment. Usually it's in a form of simplified animation, rather than live broadcasting, but it is still very informative and good looking. So, online betting has been chosen by many people not only because of its convenience, but also because the excitement factor is there as well.

Since gambling is legalized here on my country then you can actually make Live betting and Online betting but choices would only vary on a certain gambler. Online betting for convenience
without the need on going to certain places just to gamble. For live betting you can really feel the excitement while you do watch since you do know on whats happening but in general
sense online betting is just correlated with Live ones.

I thought the same when I read "live betting" on its title, but I was wrong after reading the main post and some comments here about what is live betting in this topic. Live betting here means we are in real casinos, that's why OP is trying to compare between "live betting" and "online betting".
For me, gambling in real casino is impossible because it is illegal in my country so most people in my country who love to gamble prefer to go online gambling. Once I visited land based casino in my country but the place is not even comfortable because it is located in a place which is hard to visit, it is located in a small field near the jungle so it is like an outdoor casino LOL.

Because I usually bet on soccer on live betting and online, so it would be more comfortable to bet online in my opinion, because live betting in real life is very worrying about security and of course it will make us uncomfortable playing. But in online betting I feel more comfortable because I can at least still maintain privacy or remain anonymous.

I don't even like going outside for shopping for groceries and order those stuff to my home, you make a guess which one I would prefer. I do not understand for peoples needs to go outside and socialize with others for the simplest things. This is betting and when you are betting you really do not need to be around people, having people around betting for something together makes no sense at all, its needless.

I would prefer to stay at home and bet on something I want in my pj's and make money while I am taking a siesta nap on an afternoon, its far superior method. If the odds are different outside and I am getting screwed for betting online and I would make more money live betting than there would have been a purpose but online better has far better odds as well so its really useless to go outside for betting.

You must understand the fact that most of the online gambling houses are built based on the criteria and probability which are applicable for real life betting/gambling. Both online and real life gambling are based on a random number generations. For an online casino, random number generations kind of things are programmed as per different games and needs to give us the exact real gambling excitements.  No one could predict what number or what event will be coming out next.

But,  we must take consideration of many people's experience here. Yes, many gamblers here have shared like they were profitable with gambling when they were doing it in real life. It may be within their friends or like how you did.

I prefer online betting because I can gamble in my house without spending my effort to go to gambling place.
Of course I will select the trustable gambling site before try to deposit because it's important to know the detail about them or you will got cheated ( Less chance if you go bet in live )

Live betting you mean betting at physical places? If yes, I prefer betting online. Personally, I haven't been to any betting shops, despite that there are few betting shops near by my house.
Online betting is just more convienient. I can bet whenever I want without leaving my home. I don't have to waste my time, I also can bet on live matches meanwhile watching it on TV. Main downside of betting shops for me - it doesn't work 24/7.

Online betting is comfortable, more private and probably safer (if you're betting at a trusted service, you won't have any troubles if you win). As for live betting, I think it should be divided into two more categories. It can be sort of a middle option in which you really come to some bar, make a bet and watch the game online with your co-betters. The second option is not only betting at some place, but also watching the game live. The last one gives maximum emotions, while the online option is just easier, though less fulfilling. I am not a better, but if I were one, I'd probably go with the third option at least from time to time.

I am engaged in betting for 3 years, and I want to say that I did not start playing live at a slight plus, but when I went to play live I went down, I do not advise you to play live because your emotions are there, not you. Of course, it’s better to put and watch the match live with your friends. These are real emotions. All positive bets! I from Ukraine, sorry for my English.

What do you mean by Live Betting here?

a) wherein you can bet on Live even you are not on the actual scene
PROS:
Can be done online.
You can change strategy along the way if ever you didn't placed yet a bet.
You can expect a much higher odds on where you can put a shot on taking the risks at some of the cases.

CONS:
Addicting lol.

b) you are actually on a place where Live Betting is currently on action
PROS:
You can feel the excitement
You can feel the intense

CONS:
You need to spend time going to the location
Worth more cost since you will also need to pay for your transpo, foods and a little "reward" to your companion/s once you hit big.

Oh seems this subject is reviewed every year again and again. Btw haven't answered in old threads but would say here: Depends on you, some wish comfortable sitting at home and playing from his/her pc and some prefer excitement of betting in real life. If we talk about pros and cons, I would say online betting has disadvantages for gambling addicted. For example you can everytime add money from your card or from any online wallet while you are more limited in real life, you need to look for for atms and etc. Also you can receive loan online in minutes while this process in more uncomfortable in real life.

I personally prefer online betting because of the conveniency factor with betting online; just put funds in with crypto/fiat if that's what you want, and start gambling with a computer anywhere, but I also do occasionally participate in live gambling which has its own merits as well, but I personally prefer the conveniency of online crypto-based betting over live betting. I travel pretty often as well, and I find I can access my accounts for bookies and casinos almost wherever I go.

there are also live betting online and i think live betting is more fair because they will be played live . while online betting that arent live can always be fake because they were already programmed to work automatically or by patterns  depending on your moves  . but in my case , i rarely play live betting events online because most of them can be rare to find as they are only held with designated schedules  . 

online betting on the other hand are always available and they are anywhere online  .   all we need is a capital to get started  but dont expect more to win  .

The OP needs to be more clear what he means by "Live" betting. I am assuming by "Live" he just means going to a physical casino instead of playing dice online at home.

Both options have their place. With a real casino you can go there with friends and have fun. Usually casinos have some form of entertainment. There is usually music and many places to eat and drink. You can't do that with a online casino. Nobody invites their friends over so they can gamble online on Primedice.

There are benefits to online gambling however. One of them is that its provably fair and you know that casino is not cheating you. Another is that there is no high limit to be able to gamble. You can gamble with a few pennies instead of the min bet with some physical casinos.

So both are good depending on your circumstances.

If your assumption is wrong then it will read like "Online Betting  vs Online Betting'. Hence, that is not the case.
He is comparing something against online betting then definitely it means which is NOT online but maybe in physical, lol.

But, there is a study which indicates about the eradication of physical casino due to the popularity of online gambling. It means people are slowly switching over to online gambling due to their own reasons. As per the law of survival of the fittest, only the versatile things will find ways to survive in this competitive world. As of now, any gambler may choose his own method of gambling by analyzing these different gambling methods based on their comfort and convenience. But in future, we may have only one way to gamble and that might be online gambling. Time will answer about it as no one could foresee the future.

Live betting is pretty exciting, but I prefer to used online gambling, I don't like too much noise when I gamble, I can concentrate better in a silence situation, and there are some games that can only appear in online like dice games, maybe I am already convenient with online gambling, so I don't really excited about the live gambling or traditional casino anymore

In both places you have the exact same chance to win or lose (or correct me if I am wrong), however in physical casinos you can be more tempted to do crazy things for several reasons:
-the atmosphere of the place can push you to do so
-to impress your friends
-to impress strangers around
-because you had some drinks while playing
etc.
On the other hand, some people don't like to play Online because they think they can easily lose control of their money.

I still prefer the traditional way of gambling because you can feel much more hype and could have a more effective use of gut feel compare to online betting. Despite of having a crypto, I'm still not comfortable of using gambling sites because I can't get rid off of my mind the tendencies of manipulation and scam (maybe because I'm a beginner that's why). At least in actual you can easily predict and avoid if there is something shady happening unlike to online.

Funny how you see this as an advantage, I see it as a weakness that physical casinos can use to make you lose all control (for the reasons I explained in my previous post).

Big atmosphere, sexy music, sexy women, alcohol, other players shouting loud when they win, all the ingredients to push you to bet, and bet again, and increase your stakes when you are on a losing streak. But to each their own  ;)

I don't know which one I prefer actually, both are pretty fun in my opinion, but in a different way.
When I'm on holiday, I do like to go to the casino sometimes, just because most of them have a pretty fun atmosphere and you usually get free food and drinks.
Nothing beats sitting at the roulette table and sipping on some cocktails...

On the other hand, with online gambling, especially at cryptocurrency casinos, you know exactly how much the house edge is and you know that the casino isn't cheating you.
So it really depends, both can be fun.

Online betting is my preferred way of betting because anytime and anywhere you can quickly make a bet using cryptocurrencies as long as you have access to a pc or phone with a stable connection. I don't hate live betting but it takes too much effort to do regularly compared to online betting it only takes a few clicks/tap to gamble. The cons in online betting is that it can lead you to chasing your losses and casinos can run away with your money .


I guess what he meant was going to a casino or place where the event happens since OP mentioned racing.

I prefer mostly on live betting game because although it is not that convinient, the excitement and experience is way better than virtual gambling. Plus, you are sure that the place you are playing for is legit because youre doing it in actual basis. The percentage of win and lose is also the same. If you are too lazy to stand up and enjoyed playing online on trusted sites then its better to do it that way.

It really depends on what kind of betting you prefer, If you are into sports betting, online betting will a better choice since you don't need travel to do the transaction, just pay your bet, sat, relax and enjoy your game and your money. While if you like cards game, playing in real life is better I guess, really can feel the excitement, other than that, for casino games, I think enjoyed more playing it online because it less crowd, but that is a personal matter so everyone has their own preferences.

Recently, I tried to bet on a live carnival here in my place and the excitement is really there because of the bettor are cheering for their chosen color, so I think its more fun to bet live compare to online but of course you can still express your excitement online but its not that high. Pros and cons will always be there especially in gambling, so you have to choose carefully on what is more convenient to you.

I still prefer with gambling games than online betting, but if I have to choose, then online betting is my choice because I don't have to go to the places with so much noise as you say and it's better to stay at home and do another thing. I don't like to play traditional gambling too because usually, the game is only a card which I don't know anything. But in the past, I played that card also but the result is not good, and I lose my money after one hour, and I decide to quit the game.

I experienced few times to bet with live but I'm a lazy person and don't want to go in action anymore action if it wasn't for some people that I really value going outside.

Online betting wins! more of us wants to just sit or lay in our comfort zone and bet, tho it doesn't remove the fact that actual/live betting is much more fun to do cause it has the spirit of real betting.

Your observation was right, online betting gained lots of players especially that we are into crypto industry where everything can easily be done in our comfort, we can deal anytime and every places that we have only needs an internet and devices that will be compatible with with the site and games we chose, but the fact of different kind of enjoyment, physical casino offers the most, views and crowd will add a lots of spice staying around.

Correct.  Real enterntainment does not means real (live) gambling/betting but it does not also means winning the game or for profit .  that depend on the person some find happiness when having fun despite the loss while some only  enjoy after they won because they are only playing because they want to earn a profit .

Correction : online gambling is also risky the same as live betting/offline gambling  because both works in the same mechanics  .  

What about the scenario where you gamble alive with your friends ? That also will be having same mechanics ? Live betting can be in multiple form hence you cannot have a single judgement on this. In my country, we do not have big facilities to gamble physically hence if we look for live gambling experiences then we may need to gamble within ourselves and we do find same results of online gambling as it is seeming relatively profitable compared to online gambling.

It is also about satisfaction vs time-pass. I mean even we like or not, online gambling are here to play to kill our boredom. I like physical betting but that is not available to me all the times I look for. So, I am being enforced to gamble online as it is readily available all the times.

Everywhere it isn't possible to find the legal support for gambling. In my locality we don't have much access to live gambling, for this reason I prefer online gambling using cryptocurrencies. In specific I prefer sports betting, and upon the same I do live betting which we can do when the match is going on. This gives the increased winning chances.

Live could be more exciting for people because they have other people to joke around with. Here's an idea, a group of friends could meet and play online gaming in the same computer for example and that could still be pretty fun, probably with some beers around.

All kind of betting have their own advantages and disadvantages. I love to play life poker with friends, to open a bottle of wine and have nice talks meanwhile. But during playing poker online I can wear whatever I want and to not care about my "poker face". I like both ways the same and mix one with another oftenly.

Does watching TV doesn't make it the same to you? For me, it's just the same as watching live from the outside, though the crowd may seem a bit less due to the volume of your TV but it's quite the same. It's up to the person on how he/she finds comfort when betting live while watching the TV. In fact the risk would still be the same even if you don't see the actual game.

Seeing live and a replay/rebroadcast is entirely different specially with the thrill that it gives that why some gamblers do really prefer to watch live.

The thing i do confuse about is on how op do talks about online betting and live bets? since you can make online bets and watching the game live.So its just still the same.

Both have their good and bad sides, but I also prefer Live more, in all gambling categories. For instance, I like poker with other people live more than online with people or with the computer. Also, as you say racing and sport gambling is much more exciting than on computers. I don't do much gambling and I don't like it, I just do it for fun with minimal money, but it is still better Live.

Perhaps, if people know the reason why he gambles, he can choose what he will do. But most people have one reason to gamble which is getting the win money, and they don't think about excitement or convenient. But I think some people will think about that and they will choose excitement with convenient together because they want to get fun in the gambling games. Live betting on live matches is very much exciting and it seems as if we are playing the match ourself and desperately want our team to win.
If you watch any live match without the betting, you will not care much which team should win the match but when you have bet on one team, the level of your interest in the game is super high.

I agree on this but what about the results which are against your expectations ? You will accept that simply or you will get emotionally failed similar to your super high emotions ? I am not in a way to mix my emotions with my money matters. Online betting at boring/repeated things will be having an extra advantage of not risking ourselves into gambling addictions. You can still gamble but you never need to lose yourselves into those super high excitements.

I like to bet live on a match that I am watching, especially in sports like basketball or handball. It is possible to find the edge over bookies depending on the players that are currently on the court, players in foul trouble, injuries that occur during the match and so on.

You are not always able to go to a horse race track for example and bet some. It's surely more exiting to be a live spectator then to watch the race on a small screen, sometimes in text form only. There is a crowd mechanic there, where all the emotions are experienced through interactions with other people. Race track is a good example because it can easily be transformed in to a family picnic, when bets go wrong. To be true, horse races should be taken as weekend leisure event, where gambling is just a side entertainment.
The moment someone starts to bet offline because of convenience and ease of access, all the magic and sport beauty goes away, gabling is all what's left.

Theres nothing nore enjoyable than betting live,even the ambiance of the place and the people surrounds you added in the excitement.i love going in Gambling places but ofcourse with lacking of time most ofhe time i end up playing via online just to lessen the stressful day from work

There is no much different between live betting and online betting because most of us are thinking that live betting is better as some online betting sites do scam people!  I even prefer online betting because of the synonymous in it and it do reduce tension.

Am not sure if there are ways to know whether the physical gambling centers are cheating or not but you can trust open source gambling software and the blockchain based gambling

Live betting is so very exciting but talking into convience i choose online betting less hassle and less time and effort by traveling to go there.

I think you have a point because in some other way i like watching live though while betting because you can feel the thrill and people are cheering to their own team. And most of those who bet online are more comfortable doing it from their homes.

I feel do better also with online betting and have a less stress than to be in casino. And the good thing about online betting is we can make it at our comfortable zone wherever we are, only we need it internet connection and it will be fined. But for those who wants hungouts  with friends and do gambling, it could be better for live betting.

The excitement is really on live betting but because of the security purposes, I will also choose online betting. Actually it is really fun to bet just to make sure that you're enjoying win or lose, it's fun to challenge your thinking and guts, for me online betting is not totally for entertainment it's much more of a way to gain money or to lose it, real entertainment is when youre on the stadium shouting and cheering and feeling the hype of the crowd.

Hence, I cannot accept that both are NOT different as I am experiencing complete different set of gambling with each type. Scam people and profitability ratio are may be common across these two types of gambling still online gambling is possible at any time you want whereas physical gambling needs lots of setup before getting start with them.

You need to find online betting because you want to be safe from the bad things. Maybe you can find someone that could help you to place the bets in the live betting in around your home, and I think it's better than to find by yourself and we don't have to spend to find those live betting. I think there is a broker that will accept people's money and then they use the money to place the bets, and if they win, then they can split that win money to people who make a deal with them.

I prefer online betting since I am just a beginner gambler here. Reading all the feedbacks here about live betting give me chills. Lol. And I assumed I am not yet ready to do a live bet. Though they said that the excitement from live betting is far away from the online one, I am not that confident.

No, personally, I trust online betting than the live betting because I don't have to meet other people in that betting and I only place my bets and watch the game if I want. But so far, I give some money to my friend, and he will do the rest because I don't want to know about the game and I only want to know about the result, win or lose. And I will do the same if I want to place any bets in the live betting because I trust my friend to place my bets with him.

I love live betting or Real Life gambling thsn online but with my busy schedules nowni prefer betting thru internet atleast twice a week before going to sleep.since i find relief whenever i play either dice or roulette or even poker.actually i played with my wife most of the time so we are both having good time and bonding also.and with her i can manage to limit the amount can be spending while betting for fun

But that must be the right way of gambling and I appreciate you got a perfect way to gamble safely and I suggest you to keep on going in that way regardless of live betting was your favorite way of gambling. I believe when time permits you may go for live betting also with your spouse because there are also you both can find the maximum entertainment and some easy money making chances too. Because, I'm sure you both will never lose big money as you may control each other from spending a lot for gambling unnecessarily.

There's no special pros and cons for live betting vs online betting. What I suppose as pros in online betting is it's easy to bet, whereever, whenever. That's why I prefer it.

For me their is a huge difference between online and live. Unless people just gambling for making money only then it might not be difference else those who go for enjoyment and meet new people and have a good time anytime live betting will be helpful in such instances.

Live betting is really exciting and you really feel the rush during the rolling. But I would prefer doing online betting where in convenience is what I like about it.

I agree that we don't have to feel difficult to find the site if we are familiar with online betting because we can directly to go to that site and place the bet. But for living betting, I think we need to find the places especially if the place is not easy to find because our city doesn't allow gambling. And if that is the case, then online betting is the only solution for us to follow and place the bet.

You mean you are not able to find excitements where your are able to gamble conveniently ?  I guess you may find some solutions with 3D mobile apps. Did you try any of them ?
