Do you think that 2019 will be a good year for Altcoins ? and if yes which of them will performance the most ?

There hopefully won't be many more years which are good for altcoins in general. The market needs to shed the thousands of shit coins and be focused on the handful of projects with true promise. There's no reason why shitcoins should be doing 10x or more like we saw throughout the last bull market.

I hope it will be the year of altcoins. Because new year and new investor will invest agin to the altcoins and the price become high.
But maybe it will be the same in the year 2018 if the people panic still and they don't stop to continue bad comments about cryptocurrency.

all expect that, many people predict that bitcoin will be flat. but it is only speculation that in the future there is a hardfork and it is likely that it will lift the price of bitcoin and ethereum.

If 2019 will be the year of altcoins, I hope it will be the year of meaningful altcoins. Great projects with future prospects shall strongly outperform 'no product, no adoption' coins.

I think that in 2019, nothing significant will happen, it should be a year for respite, you need to gain strength and then think about some increase in prices

Yes it will be good for altcoins and while crypto market and i think eth will emerhe as biggest and most profitable alt and this will happen due to outstanding upgrades in the eth network and smart contracts that will be activated by eth developers throughout the year.

The current year was bad for altcoins. Overall they were worse investment than Bitcoin (hence Bitcoin dominance rose).
A simple logic would tell that a result from this would be that when the money is back, altcoins should grow better than Bitcoin (to recover). But I am not sure about that. Not at all.

Overall will not be a great year for altcoins.
Some altcoins should perform well. But way too many are doomed. Those will not recover. Investors will check more carefully where they throw the money at so it will not easy for weak projects to get money.

There will be no changes if the bear market continue in 2019 and obviously altcoins will suffer the most. Just look at how Ethereum manage this year, January its a all-time-high but after that, its all downward spiral. I guess coins in the top ten will remain as is, but with no significant jump whatsoever. Unless though that we have another break out run in 2019.

All eyes is on bitcoin so if the price rose then obviously atlcoins will follow. However, even Bitcoin future is still uncertain in 2019 so it will be a waiting game for all of us and just hope for the best.

The shouldn't be years of Altcoins in general. There should be years of good coins, not all alts fall into this category. The market has a lot of different players now, I would prefer to see it more numerous in terms of users and holders and less numerous in terms of the coins (especially shitcoins) offered, that would show real adoption of cryptos. We see now, that most coins follow the same movement in price as BTC (more or less), I'd like to see more diversity in that in 2019. Coins that live their own life not depending on BTC so heavily

I dont know if 2019 will be the year of altcoins but if it will be, it will definitely be the year of meaningful altcoin as you wanted because the crypto market experienced two things this year which is blood bath and market correction and I believe this have wrecked some altcoin which are not future promising or have the require utility.

If a lot of good news come to cryptocurrency, I believe 2019 will be the year of altcoins
But, people must be ready for all conditions, because everything can be happend in crypto market

It is possible that 2019 turns out to be good year like 2017 since the big long correction of 2018 seems over mostly. Hard to know what altcoins will do best so invest in many good ones.

I also hope that in 2019 the  will be better for all altcoins, because I'm sure next year will increase the price of krypto higher than the current price.

It depends on every developer and team of all altcoins, if they can bring something new to the community or people like a new feature, exchange, or something. I'm sure it will make this altcoin rise again...

I think that many top Altcoins can grow significantly in 2019. I mostly rely on the growth of Neo. for me it is a favorite

It's hard to say. Right now I still believe all altcoins are strongly controlled by whatever the BTC price is atm.

market conditions are usually very difficult to predict. But if that happens I think some of the big altcon will be able to become achievers, maybe it's Ethereum, Ripple and EOS.

I honestly think the year of altcoins was 2017, especially late 2017. Nearly every ALT in my portfolio made at least +400%. But well, nearly all of them lost the gains rapidly in 2018. But I am sure if another bull run comes in 2018, ALTs will moon again.

It seems that it will be a year of hope for better, moreover there is news on ethfork, this is a positive expectation that always exists and has a better future. We will see well in the next year and all will be green.

Not just altcoins but also bitcoin and many ICO’s will succeed on their project. I’m very bullish about this market and 2019 will be a great year again. I believe on ETH so for me, this will one of the best performing altcoins in 2019, you’d better to invest now while the price are still cheap, the train will depart soon ride in the market now.

2019 I only hope that crypto is cleaner from projects that are just bullshit and money stealers, they have to be lost and some have come up with new crypto buzz by creating credible and useful projects

Many big good things coming in 2019 (like platform for institutional investors etc.) So I think we will see new bullrun. Also this can be a year of security tokens (ICOs)  :)

I am also optimistic about crypto. At the same time, I believe that 2019 will be the year of the death of some projects. It would be good for all  bastardly projects to die.

The Alt coins are still tightly bonded with BTC and rise and fall of BTC value controls the price of Alt Coins. In my view, same will happen this year and we see a hike in the price of Alt Coins only if BTC price is gowing up. Crypto market also needs to get rid of hundreds of useless coins that have nothing behind them but still capturing huge capital of market. As investor you have to see which alt coins have the potential to rise and such coins are not many in number right now. Shit coins are cheap in value and attract new investors that want profit on there little investment.

we'll see how the altcoin will develop this year. because we cannot predict the situation until now. so the estimate has no effect at this time. moreover the market is experiencing a decline that is so low that indeed we cannot expect it. what we can do is look at the situation that has happened.

This will not be a nice year for all altcoins. a market that is short of capital to develop is never good.
ICO projects are now very difficult to achieve the amount of money they need to develop the project.

I know how challenging it is, in fact we've struggling this situation since last year and it looks like that the decline will extend until this year. We can't say that our market recovers easily, it surely takes a months before will make it. Even that, isn't the reason to quit nor to give up, instead will just continue to work and take this challenge.

A lot of coins will be good performance this year but mostly I looking for the ethereum to grow very high. Not only the altcoins are possible to rise but also for the bitcoin and tokens remember they are coonecting to each other but not mostly but they need each other to rise each other and they become successful.

EOS and ripple are too coins that I am thinking are going to perform very well in 2019. I strongly believe that those that wish the market dead especially the altcoins market are going to get surprise about the happening in this year as many of them are going to recover and became stronger.

 I think that 2019 will be even worst for altcoins than 2018 with few exceptions - TRON and EOS. Tron have it's BTT star now and EOS is getting new DAPPS every day and it's gaining volume and popularity.

I do not know if altcoins rise throughout the year, but statistically altcoins are profitable in this quarter. So, if you would like to gain some % on altcoins, then now it is the best time to do it.  8)

I don't think that in 2019 this is the year of the altcoin because until now the market conditions are still bad and many altcoins have died in exchange.
but we all don't know for the future what will happen this year, I just hope the market can recover soon even if prices don't rise significantly.

May be or Not. All performance is depends on Btc stability. If Btc will stable in this year then Alt can be fly after big time of resting. But I think Not only Alt but also all crypto's time will be this year. And 2020 will be golden year from crypto. We can see another bull run in 2020. And guess the fly will be more than 2017.

Yes, it is better to invest now in altcoins after huge market price drop due to bearish market condition. If one truly want to earn profit one should take the risk now investing in low price altcoins. I recommend for the newcomers to invest in the strong altcoins in the market which could be seen in coinmarketcap.com ranking according to coinmarketcap volume. The higher the marketcap volume of a certain coin the better it would be.

I think this market tends to increase more and this is the time when whales often appear on the market most. It seems that 2019 is showing a little bit of revival in the crypto market. As, stock market is now going to be in the bearish mood so the money that will be pulled from this sectors must be invested in some real asset and bond. Again, investors will need some instant profit from their money invested and surely they will choose for the crypto investment.

I think we'll see a price recovery this year, and I do think that alts will rise more than BTC will, so yes, I think it will be a good year for alts - but not all of them, there are good and bad projects amongst alts, and it will be mostly the good ones that recover. Always remember to research a coin before you buy in, don't just use FOMO.

I'm putting the 2018 into perspective, honestly we have a bad 2018 as price movement are mostly correction and it's going down.
Now, we are at 2019 and the price movement for the 1st quarter is good, so I'm hoping the momentum will continue.

Amount of funds on the new projects is not going to help in bringing new investors into the crypto projects.

I don't still believe that there will be or there is a year good for altcoins. Altcoins are dependent on the movement of the bitcoin so if bitcoin moves upward, it is favorable for altcoins and if bitcoin is in bear mode, altcoins suffer too the way bitcoin is.

Well, I don't think this is a good year for altcoins. I think this is a good time for potential IEO projects and a good time for the coins to grow.
You have also noticed that recently, Huobi, Kucoin, BNB, Bitmax, Bgogo are increasing very high prices and it is saving the market from quietness.

I think that 2019 will not be a breakthrough year for any cryptocurrency. The bear market is still in force. Therefore, the main coins will remain at about the same level.

Indeed small movements from BTC also belong to altcoin, an altcoin is able to provide movement and this is good enough for its development. BTC still mastered every move, and it was able to make many coins participate in it. Yes,2019 will be another year for altcoin if bitcoin price up to 10000$.Nowadays most of the new altcoin market and their team are unsuccessful because they cannot listen or maximum time trade vol going to 0.000$.You can see the top 10 coins on coinmarket cap are running on crypto market and some coin listen and then again down or lost trade volume like as signal coin and surety coin.When i get this coin its trade vol was 695$ and now its vol zero so there has a lot of coin like this coin.In 2017 most of the altcoin successful and bitcoin price reached the highest level so everything depends on bitcoin .

If you say few out of the thousands of altcoins have the chances of surviving this year and bullish, it virtually means most investors have invested in coins that will profit them, this boils down to my agitation for few coins and I really hope there can be a body that will fully control the existence of these projects because most of these projects that will eventually fail and have nothing to offer investors could have allowed all its investors divert their money into bitcoin or any other good coin and by now, the story about bitcoin would have changed permanently but instead many of these altcoins coming without a good project end up jeopardizing the future of crypto currency.

ADA price needs to follow. Because in 2018 there was a great decline. Now we can say that the recovery phase. I think it will approach the price of 1 dollar in the future.

Until now is not so good year for altcoins, i hope to see a goo year for altcoin starting next months, but who know, maybe they will not grow so much this year, until next year when bull run maybe will start.

I do agree with your post and of a  truth there are many reasons why the cryptocurrencies market fall from December 2017, throughout 2018 and now 2019! One of the reasons I have think of is we have many shitcoin that are not contributing anything to our society but some of them were having huge value in 2017. Now everything has fall down and those altcoins that has significant values and products are going to enjoy the next bull run that may start around August this year in preparation for the bitcoin halving in may 2020.

It's not really a competition between BTC and the Altcoins, but between crypto and fiat. The best crypto coins will rise to the top with the best ideas to solve real problems.  

There are a lot of shit coins muddying the waters that do nothing special except hype to try to make something out of nothing.  They have no true value creator. But the legitimate projects are test beds for different ideas.  This is a good thing. The most successful ideas usually come from small nimble hungry startups rather than large corporations.

Sometimes I loss hope but I have no choice but to hold ICO coins as it would be stupid to sell it at a loss.

I don't think 2019 is the year of altcoins. Although I have a strong feeling that altcoins will have their bullish weeks as the year ends. 2019 is more of a year of Bitcoin than of altcoins. Bitcoin has been down since its bullish rally in 2017. It cannot possibly happen that two years later, this year, Bitcoin will still end up lower than the price it reached in 2017.

I think it will be, and as far I've observed lately it seems altcoins had more time to fall asleep for its growth this 2019. The harder it rise, the strong it grows in the future. We maybe neglected some good signs for achieving a good price, but surely the perfect day will set forth a remarkable time which will surprise everybody in cryptocurrency community, that could change our financial situations.

When we say altcoins it comprises of just 25% of the available ones, as the rest hasn't shown any big movement with correspondence to the growth of bitcoin. 2018 was expected to be the year for altcoins, nothing big took place. Now once again same seems the scenario. It is perfect time to invest as altcoins with good potential too is down.
