I heard about a cryptocurrency which is going to become a partner of an E-Commerce platform. I think now people wants something more then just an idea. So it could a new Evolution after a Revolution.

E-commerce is an ever growing industry but increasingly these days people are wanting control of their own finances so they can protect against differing interests with financial institutions and inflationary pressure on fiat currencies. Those two things combined mean the presence of crypto in e-commerce is likely to increase over time.

E-commerce websites can have a positive impact to cryptocurrencies by receiving them as payments. The "accepting bitcoin" tag beside the PayPal and Visa/Mastercard tag is already good publicity in itself.

About a cryptocurrency partnering with an e-commerce platform though? It depends. We're going to need more information about it.

The option for using cryptocurrency in an e-commerce platform like Amazon is still available through a service called purse. What other e-commerce platform you are referring to? Crypto coupled with e-commerce platform is not anymore an idea. However, we are unable to see any impact on the crypto market. That is probably due to a third party integration layer but if a giant like Amazon decides to accept cryptocurrencies directly in their platform, I think we can see a good impact on the market because of the brand value associated with cryptos. But that is not going to become a reality very soon due to ambiguous legal structure for cryptos worldwide and famous companies like Amazon will never jump into such kind of ambiguous business models.  

Every merchants assuming that its legitimate contributes positively as a whole, the difference is how much impact do each of them has. A low traffic platform probably wouldn't have much, but the big names like amazon, ebay or sth that generates lots of traffic.. will surely have a huge impact.

There are some altcoins that have made their own shopify plugins so website owners can accept their coin payments. This means cheaper transactions than those multi coin payment gateways

It would be a great medium in which bitcoin and cryptocurrencies can excel at, considering how cheap and easy payments can be when done with crypto. Currently only a few e-commerce websites are really open about accepting payments done with cryptocurrencies, and once this goes mainstream, the avenues to which cryptocurrencies could flow wil widen, thus fully enabling cryptocurrencies to be used as payments rather than confine itself as an investment vehicle. The future is bright for cryptocyrrencies and ecommerce IMO, we just lack the ones who would spearhead the movement.

If global e-commerce giants like Amazon, alibaba, ebay start accepting payments with Cryptocurrency, we can hope good conditions for the Cryptocurrency market as mass adoption would increase.

Indeed, that is one of the reasons why Bitcoin got interesting to me. A lot of people are still unbanked, means they have no bank account, and earlier when I was young and had no access to a bank account, I looked for an alternative to the traditional payment methods and discovered someday Bitcoin. If E-Commerce platforms would start accepting cryptocurrencies as a payment method, this would see certainly a positive impact.

To my opinion it's kind of natural to accept Bitcoin. They are digital stores that need digital currency. Today we don't have enough online stores that accept Bitcoin and we still can't buy all sorts of goods with Bitcoin unless we have Bitcoin debit cards. Also, today people are looking for alternative ways of payment that are fast, convenient and easy to use.
Once when big and global e-commerce platforms will accept Bitcoin on a regular basis as another payment method equal to fiat money and credit cards then we could say  that Bitcoin made a big and important step towards mass adoption and adoption by businesses.

XYZ crypto creating an ABCD e-commerce wont have an impact. The crypto must be properly decentralized and the e-commerce site must be backed by BIG merchant community. Otherwise Bitcoin+OpenBazaar is great itself.

The growth of e-commerce is a very good opportunity for cryptocurrencies. Since both operates on the internet, cryptocurrencies provide a more uniformity in payment eliminating the charges in international payments which comes in fiat conversions. But on the hand, most e-commerce platforms will still not likely intergarte cryptos because of the volatility.

E-commerce is just one thing that people wanted in the first place since there are things that they can't buy through to the supermarket. And it is a game changer of the economy IMO because lots of people using the internet now to buy and sell things that they want.

Though on some point it could give less profit to the merchants from their country.

E-commerce platforms that use crypto as payment have a big risk, unless they can manage crypto assets so that they do not cause significant losses, unless there are insurance companies who want to back up their projects. Even projects originating from ICO with the concept of an e-commerce platform are currently not using crypto as their payment tool, some online stores are willing to accept crypto as payment even though they make payments for services and not for goods.

One way to mitigate that risk is to quickly exchange crypto to fiat via an exchange API. You need to have an access to exchange with high liquidity though. I do think this solution is easy enough to apply, no need any insurance or something like that. Just simple and effective payment and exchange.

Instead of thinking crypto as a medium of payment only, we can use crypto and their blockchain as some kind of notes on payment transactions. This way, we need crypto to write transaction details between two parties into the blockchain but payment can be made via fiat, etc.

in 99% of the cases, this means you are looking at some random useless altcoin's advertisement who is using fooling techniques to get pumps. there has been at least a couple of hundreds of them that have made claims about partnering with lots of E-Commerce platforms and none of them are even used as a currency to succeed in any ways.

it is a great move and it will happen all around the world eventually but cryptocurrencies first have to be considered and used as currencies and then take the "next step". for bitcoin it makes sense because it has been designed to work as a currency and despite what some people claim its usage as a currency has been growing

ecommerce can make a huge impact with cryptocurrency. As soon as many ecommerce business accept crypto as payment, people will also start to trust crypto and eventually use it as payment and will then resolved one of major problem of crypto and that's having a real use case besides for trading and money transfer.

As you can see there are many project that deal with ecommerce platform and most of them are now developing new payment method which you can use cryptocurrencies especially bitcoin. If this continue on developing we can better ecommerce platform.

Amazon and some online market already accept cryptocurrencies like bitcoin. Once cryptocurrencies will legal in all countries we can more huge impact especially in the field of e-commerce. Using cryptocurrencies in e-commerce will really have positive impact in cryptocurrencies because there is possibility that the price will increase. I hope aside from using it in e-commerce we can also use it offline market.

yup because e commerce is aware that bitcoin can be a good alternative in the context of efficiency and profit for them. because in reality bank payments must go through a process that tends to be complicated, and they know that there are interests from the bank that they must provide. whereas crypto is far from that word, so giving options to customers is a good choice

Do you think people will start to pay their Amazon items if they see a Bitcoin button? Nope. they won't bother to search what is BTC, they won't bother to search where to buy and they won't give a fuck to BTC. It takes too much time while they already have a solution and more easy to use, with just 1 click you pay your items.
No matter the e-commerce accepting BTC, the buyers who effectively use it are the bitcoiners not the newbies.

Definitely e-commerce will be a great impact on cryptocurrency as this is a booming business now, a lot of them purchase every stuff only with this. There are rumours about Amazon and eBay are accepting the transaction in cryptos.

when we see e-commerce combining an application with the concept of blockchain, it will affect crypto currencies. there are many blockchain functions for each platform. simple. and safe. Our problem today is that crypto spread is still very low.

Any such news can have a positive impact on the cryptocurrency. So I think it will have a good impact on the market. I think that this could attract a lot of new investors and thus contribute to the growth of the market.

the e-commerce industries will add greatly to the cryptocurrency platform as it will give great influence over other forms of payments in the industry as thereby making the bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general valuable in e-commerce transactions. i will encourage the general online and e-commerce traders to take advantage of the business.

The difference with breaking into e-commerce instead of sending money to each other which crypto is known for is that you can simply use your debit card to purchase stuff online. It means you can use your debit card globally anywhere you want online and buy stuff and get it shipped to you.

Without crypto you can still manage to get this done and its quite easy without any work, unlike sending money to someone which is hard unless they have some POS system where they can charge you money, sending money from one person to another is easier in crypto. That's why ecommerce will have trouble getting into crypto easily, some people who are fan of crypto will put up coinpayments addon on their wordpress and make it available but it is not an advantage, it is just an additional option, it won't create a new profit line for you at all. By platforms, you mean something like Shopify and Magento right? Shopify already had a big list of stores that accept Bitcoin payment but what is surprising is most of these stores when you check now removed Bitcoin as payment, so what that tells us? Well i had some unwise experience with the online shops, meaning that after a made the transfer without any issue, i feel bad because i knew that somehow i didn't made my best choice, and since then i have decided to hold crypto coins as a long term investment. Regarding the topic, yes, it will change the perception in the crypto market, that is for sure.

An increase in the number of  e-commerce sector accepting to use cryptocurrency platform will have a positive impact on  the CRYPTO industry, The revolution is sure Crypto will have a higher share in global economy, but this is determine by several factor in which the e-commerce platform has a significant share.

In my opinion, it will cause a double loss if it has to be exchanged with fiat directly. Losses due to fees or withdrawals, then losses due to lower prices except using stable coins.

The hardest part will be actually finding the things that crypto will be really loved for.

For example, steam could be considered ecommerce, after all they are selling something online like a shop even tough it is its own software as well and they had bitcoin in there and I loved buying games with bitcoin, normally I do not have too many games on my steam and many games on my wishlist only to be bought when I feel like I am really bored and can't find anything else, during the time bitcoin was accepted on steam I literally bought ALL of my wishlist games, I also spent bitcoins to book flight and hotels from expedia.

When given the chance I will spend bitcoin on stuff that I normally wouldn't with normal fiat, if I had to spend fiat I neither would have bought those games nor took that vacation. Hence, instead of focusing on how to make crypto more ecommerce friendly, we should think what could be a great product that people would spend bitcoins instead of fiat.

 Is not the purpose of the creation of crypto currencies is to facilitate transactions so that foam is done anywhere and anytime, e-commerce will certainly make crypto currency very useful because it can make transactions more practical and efficient. The existence of e-commerce certainly has a positive impact on the development of crypto currencies, because there will be many people using crypto currency to shop in e-commerce applications.

a better idea will be cryptocurrency projects having their own e-commerce platform. With more partnerships with producers putting their goods up for exchange with the crypto, it'll eliminate loss in terms of exchanges and transaction costs.

In short mass adoption plays a big part in the cryptocurrencies spaces. If the cryptocurrencies demand get high I'm sure normal person will consider to use it and business owner will integrate Bitcoin into their business. Right now, The scalability problem needed to fixed first before we can achieve toward the mass adoption process.

Hmph… there are lots of e-commerce platforms already but the big names are not looking into cryptocurrency because they believe it will be a spoilerfor their business. So e-commerce platforms are not helping at all. Don’t expect that a new platform accepting cryptocurrency will come out and get the interest of people.

Overstock is already there but there hasn’t seen any changes, what else do you expect before change can take place? I believe when there will be such more number of marketplace then people will be easily coming to know about the existence of cryptocurrency so that they will start adopting it one day or another. I do see these platforms are more effective promotional way for cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin is the star we all waiting for to appear in an e-commerce platform and im sure it will bring us a positive impact. There are existing BTC payment on other countries and i am just waiting on my country's turn. The only problem is the market value and it being a super volatile investment.
