It can't be determined but i have seen a little signal toward the bullish trend and consider bakkt has gained a lot of demand. that makes sense to create another buzz to the speculators to make them all get FOMO.
The trend of crypto depends on the news about that.

With the look of things, I have a feeling STOs will gain momentum this year but I don't know for now if they are also classified as Altcoins. From the look of things and change in landscape due to regulations it seems to be the new safe haven for investors. What I think will happen this year is that there will likely be a steady growth rather than the raging bull run wee have been used to

The most likely trend for the altcoins in 2019 is that they will follow Bitcoin and to some extent Ethereum in price direction. I expect us to be in a rising market before the summer of 2019.

In fact, we cannot determine the direction of the market. whether the price of bitcoin or alt rises or falls. But if we see the news about bitcoin there is a lot of good news about bitcoin so this can make bitcoin or altcoin better in 2019.

Just watch the market as no one can easily tell you what's the accurate movement of these altcoins.

I'll always say that its going up on trend so the positivity is there and I don't want to be a pessimistic person when it comes to crypto's.

Yes so many good news that involved instittutional investors. I believe in 2019 we might see a good grow cause of bakkt, nasdaq and fidelity which will help so many institutional investors entering crypto space.

There's no use to speculate so early, what will we achieve anyway? Just enjoy the ride. 2019 is still long, there might be bulls and bears here and there, who knows?

As my thought, the trend of 2019 will the development of blockchain's technology, but with cryptocurrency will a difficult year.

In today's market, there are 2 positive and stable cryptocurrency that in the future can bring a good profit is-ETH and WAVE. These coins will be the main ones this year.

I think this year the market will remain stable like this, there is no major increase or decrease that occurs, because there are no fundamental reasons that will affect it. But there are many people who hope on ETF and will trigger a market explosion, if ETF are accepted later, but unfortunately this is also speculation.

If we will compare the past years performance of Bitcoin market then we could expect that this year will be a bounce back for the price as records shows an average of a year performance of down wards then it will pull up. Hopefully it will still happen as we all knows that Bitcoin price is really unpredictable.

My opinion is that the trend will be sideways with small jumps up and down - to reset stops, and then how it will continue is unknown to anyone, all the guesswork is just divination on tarot cards)

I don't think cryptocurrency will recover soon in 2019, but I can be sure that Bitcoin is still the king of crypto, and Ethereum can still maintain the status of the king of the altcoin.

As a matter of fact we do not know if there will be a uptrend or downtrend in this your but we are hoping in uptrend market. Even it is hard to determine if there will uptrend in this year I'm pretty sure that in the end of this year we will experience uptrend market.

I see this year to be a correction year has buying the alts this year for long time will be a great idea for all trader though it might not skyrocket but I see this year to be the moving edge her for all alts and we might see the most dip price too bit by year end am sure we are going to be way more than the price will start the year with.

I think 2019 will be the bullish market for crypto according to the previous history of the crypto market. But I want tell more that 2019 will not bullish like 2016 last to 2017 first. Because people are afraid about crypto and trying to more aware about crypto fro the BTC dump 20000$ to 3000$. So in my opinion, 2019 will be a little bit of bullish and 2020 will be more bullish than all.

It is impossible . In the global economic recession, most of the investment will be affected, and crypto will not be spared. And the crypto market has fallen so much in 2018 that it takes a long time to recover. At least it seems that it can't recover in 2019. This year's market is more likely to continue to fall, so don't be too happy too early.

       The price trend for altcoins will be directly proportional to the trend of bitcoin and ethereum. I think 2019 will be similar to 2018. I think the market will not have a significant growth in 2019, which is why we have the opportunity to invest this year too. No one can elaborate this regarding the upcoming alt coins status, I am pretty the value will hopefully pump as we have experienced a bad last year. Such scenario will not be tolerated again let's wait and see how it goes in upcoming days.

As we all saw 2019 started great for altcoins, even better then for BTC. So I think that 2019 overall might be a great year for whole market and especially those altcoins that have active team and development. Also, we will definitely get rid of all those scam projects that's just been sitting there wasting money and not doing any development. So here's to 2019, a great year for active projects.

Since last month we can saw altcoins trying to up trend. Already ethereum stated there journey. So i think upward in this year prices going to uptrend and hold your coins till reach your prices.

I do not see any prerequisites for strong growth of altcoins this year. For this to happen, a strong growth catalyst is needed. Many expect that growth will occur after the launch of the Bakkt platform and the adoption of Bitcoin-ETF and these are really important events, but they will work at a long distance. Therefore, I propose to be realistic and not wait for a miracle this year.

I think that such a strong movement of altcoins as in 2017 will not be, but still some altcoins will be able to get closer to Bitcoin in terms of capitalization.

Altcoin top will grow strongly and there are many finished products, besides altcoin without products or unused products will surely continue to die like 2018. I hope this market only With about 500 altcoin remaining. so the market will develop strongly

2018 was terrible. Am beginning to think that most of 2019 will be bear. But definitely bitcoin will rise again and pick the market with it

In my view and analysis, it looks like Altcoin this year will increase little by little. Because there must be a process. So what is certain is that the altcoin in 2019 will increase or increase. Maybe some are increasing very fast and some are slowly increasing.

I hope that this year will reduce the number of empty and unnecessary projects in crypto. I want to see really interesting and useful projects, and not what happened in 2018. I also hope for the emergence of high-quality and convenient decentralized exchanges.

My analysis wasn't so good with others but bitcoin will recover, ethereum and majority of altcoins.

A very popular analysis right? this is what you'll going to see if you'll ask the same questions like what others are asking. I'm very fond of the possible approval of ETF now but I don't want to be confident with that.

It's way too early to start making an analysis. We still don't even know exactly what the trend of the market is going to be in Q1, let alone throughout the whole year.

For now, all we can do is speculate, on one hand you have the ones that are optimistic about a possible surge in prices due to some Bitcoin events that could probably spark some buying pressure making altcoins follow the trend. On the other hand, you have some other people who think this will be a slow year with no any major market movements.

As of now, it's pretty much impossible to state for certain what the altcoins trend is going to be this year, we'll have to wait a few months to get a better picture of the market.

At the same time ofcourse altcoins which is always bought in 2018 will pick again in this year we have no choice to buy them again because this is our chance maybe this altcoins will pump up again.

In 2019, there will be so many altcoins which are on bullish trend. Hope we can see a new ATH for bitcoins or ethereums.

I think the price of Altcoin will increase if the price of Bitcoin rises, because so far the price of Altcoin always follows the price of Bitcoin. In this new year the price seems to have increased even if only slightly, but if this continues, then I think a bull run will occur this year. Hopefully everything will be good in 2019

Its going steady on its range and spikes every bit just as how its doing for weeks now. I'm not sure if the bear is already done but it had squeze the life of the bounty hunters who holds coins already so I think there will be a tag of war  of bulls and bears in months til something matures along the way like the ETF.

ETH, ETH, ETH... is my all time favorite when it comes to altcoin, also let's believe a lot of new and genuine project come and change the strategy of market. A lot of scam project involved last year and that too became a reason for the massive dump last year, I strongly believe there will be a change in market this year let's see what happen's next.

it's still too early to say, we still have to follow it for the next 3-6 months and see the trends that occurred during that time. but I think this is a positive bull run.

We just started the first week of 2019 so everything is still unclear. But in the beginning of 2019, I saw a little positive for the market when the market was slightly increasing again

Most of the time, trends are being noticed/observed at the middle of a certain period or later. now we can't say yet what will be the trend for 2019 but for the past year 2018, we have all the data and we can still use it for this year for reference.

I do not think that there will be any global changes, because the market will have to wait for really huge problems, especially if we try to trade in cryptocurrencies today. Take your time and do not panic.

I think the current market trend is still bearish. but the market has shown oversold. and I'm sure in a few months there will be a change in the trend that will occur. all of the middle of this year we can see a bull run

I think that at the beginning of 2019 everything will depend very strongly on Ethereum first of all. That he can act as a locomotive for the rise in prices for altcoins. It remains to wait a bit to find out.

The year of 2019 will be a good year for cryptocurrency, a thing that I have been saying for long. As the year 2018 was not good comparatively for cryptocurrency when many things happened like regulations were in place, thus affecting the market. Now 2019 will witness regulators to be understanding and accepting cryptocurrency, and it will mature enough. But unlike in the past, cryptocurrency will not increase in prices dramatically. I mean it will not make you riches overnight. It will be treated like a stock market. 

In the first quarter I thought there would be no significant changes and crypto prices on the exchange were still relatively the same, if we looked at the ICO that was finished now, many of them registered their tokens on the exchange in the second quarter, I think this could be an indication that crypto will rise in price in the second quarter of this year.

It went slightly up in the first week of this 2019 but here now falling more than 15% of total market cap values so nothing new the bump and dump keep kontinue until now.
