It's code implements the algorithm CPU23R, an advanced CPU mining system that resists FPGA, ASIC and achieved a higher benchmark value than a GPU. Copper's main objective is to solve this problems: · The centralization of the mining · The lack of information relative to cryptocurrencies · The high energy cost of the mining · The lack of usability of the mayority of the cryptocurrencies ··············· FEATURES ··············· We protect the mining The algorithm CPU23R is just the beggining, Copper will implement as many changes as needed in order to guarantee a fair CPU mining. I thought it is gonna be another good coin like Grin or Veil for example, but I guess it is not that bad at all. At least nobody is losing anything in the process right now. Ok, figured it out. In case anybody is having the same problem. You have to copy the file copper.conf into the copper folder under appdata/roaming. There are already two peers in this file. Yesterday the coin was launched without my personal approval and a small group of users started to mine, including block 1 with 3%. At that moment I closed everything, I made a new genesis and several hours ago I launched this version.
