Title: Interesting Coin Launches in 2019?
Post by: HippiePyro on January 09, 2019, 07:34:53 PM
So what new coins are coming in 2019? I'm not really interested in more forks of current coins, but rather, looking for coins with new technologies. I'm looking through the ANN forum but it's hard to tell what's coming or already came without checking each one. Any new projects have your interest peaked?

I am interested about the BitTorrent token that is going to do it's fund raising through Binance launchpad. I like the concept of this feature made by Binance and I think that the token itself could be useful. Also I have a goal to find a promising DAICO this year, but so far I couldn't find any.

I don't think there will be many interesting coins in 2019. 2019 is still a year of cryptocurrency cleanup. Valueless coins will be eliminated. More interesting coins may have been born at 2020-2021.

I would rather to focus on projects that are already established especially that the market in weeks already making some green signs. Bi chances I am going to take a pass on all ICO this year.

I like the Gigzi project. This is on the ICO stage right now. I love how they will set up their entire ecosystem with precious metals for backing crypto-assets price from volatility, plus their localised banking exchanges for converting crypto to fiat. they have a demo/prototype for their secured biometric Wallet, using Iritech technology.. This is my favourite ico project right now...

So far I have not had any views about coins that are good for investing now or in the future, I think many people choose to trade rather than buy coins and hold them back.

But I tend to stay on ETH and wait, maybe you can read a little about this https://medium.com/utopiapress/what-is-ethereum-serenity-f433d824c974

You can try to take a look on my signature and it has a lot of supporter. Another some interesting icos which have already backed by a lot of big companies just like elixxir (backed by CEO of ripple fuondation) and Bittorrent (Backed by tron) both seem pretty for for me personally.

I only see market conditions that are still weak, but I also pay attention to Scavo Technologies tokens which a few days ago (burned) from the total supply of 100 million tokens to 20 million tokens. I am optimistic that the new token in 2019 will be able to change things for the better.

Why are you looking for some kind of hard fork? These forks do not bring any benefit to the investor. They contribute only technological value

Just remove your interest to the fork coins.

Most of them became a way to scammers to commence their shady plans. I'm not into fork coins and if there's a fork that's interesting now that's the upgrade of ethereum, that's it.

What kind of interests you are talking about ? After the year-long downfall markets of crypto space, many people are preferring to stay away but I am hearing compete different scenarios from your side. I am just want to know what you are going to do if you find an interesting project or coin. Are you going to invest with them ? Or going to just follow them about their real time solutions and developments ? For both the case I am just out.

Why are you looking for some kind of hard fork? These forks do not bring any benefit to the investor. They contribute only technological value
I read that OP is not interested anymore into fork based coins. But, I am seeing BCH is providing benefits to its investors as this is the only coin I am seeing always get bumped regardless of how deep it was dumped time to time. So, we cannot ignore hardforks completely like OP is mentioning.

At the moment, I do not know of any promising project that ISO is conducting. It seems to me that there are already enough projects (more than 2100 coins and tokens) and it is time to work 24/7 and show the results and implement your roadmap. 95 percent of all projects are complete shit and fraud and never will show the finished product. It remains quite a bit, only 5 percent, and they should build the blockchain infrastructure of our world.

There are plenty. But you should always make sure to fully research any coin that you're thinking of buying in to. And this is more true than ever in the current bear market. Also don't forget the 'old' coins as well, plenty of these are undergoing exciting developments in 2019, notably Constantinople upgrade for ETH later this week.

New projects are still new ideas that are yet to prove themselves, investing in them is highly profitable if it works out but such investment is risky to me, I prefer investing in already established projects with active team and community

Many coins are coming in this year, from ICO and others. We can check at the announcement of this forum. Well, probably they have the different concept and they are interesting. But, not all of them are legit, they are probably scams. I have some notice that they are legit, the coins are such as Rockz, Hubrisone, Swinca.

There were plenty of new projects that have raised enough money even during the falling market, and there would be even more coins that will have a success when the market is going to recover its value and return to the last prices.

Im personally interested in more and more security tokens and looking forward to invest and own more and more security tokens this year as not only they increase in price but also share the profits so you own a part of the project so for me this class of tokens definitely outclasses utility tokens.

Posted on another forum, but (so far yet) noone has any thoughts on it.
Just stumbled upon this so gonna try here.
C/p from the formentioned forum:

So, I recently watched a video with 4 guys, Head of Group Inovation, Societe Generale, Chief Marketing from Blockpass, Global head of strategic accounts Ripple and Head of blockchain and UK group inovation, UBS.

Now we allI know how big Marcus Treacher is in the "blockchain world".

I googled the rest a bit, but what I'm curious about is blockpass (PASS). Anyone know anything about it? I've checked the site, the idea is good.

I was told "Civic is for KYC" but Blockpass guy was on the same stage as Marcus Treacher, which could mean maybe they have a good plan just like Ripple (subjective, I know, but bear with me)

The link btw is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYjU645jndA

blockpass.org is the site.

Am I completely overvaluing the fact he's up there with the rest of the guys who (seem?) to be far ahead in production/realisation/etc.?

Am I seeing something that's not there, overthinking perhaps? is it simply a matter of paying enough to "sit with the big boys"?

Any thoughts/ideas/suggestions/information regarding this and Blockpass (PASS) in general?

It is difficult to say that the end of 2018 was very stingy with good projects, and in general every month in 2018 there were fewer and fewer projects. I see no reason why now in 2019 the situation should change for the better while we are still seeing a bear market.

I think that we will watch this bear market for a very long time. at least a year. Until 2020, I do not expect market growth!

I think it's unpredictable which coin will be great in 2019. The 2018 showed us that top projects after private sales, usually were falling after listing on exchanges. I think it's better to buy tokens after listing on some exchanges after ICO. It's less risky!

Investing in the emerging ICO project at this stage is a huge risk, because the market has not changed, it is difficult to judge whether it can bring profit.

If you are looking for a safe net, it's better to go for STOs,  Most ICOs have constantly dissapointed investors, it makes it had for new inventions to come in through ICOs, even when the idea or technology looks visible, the market and trend of things don't longer favour such.
For me I will rather stick to establish coins/tokens

It would be really hard if you are not capable of analyzing on your own analysis and not finding out by yourself. Do not expect some one here to come and help you in terms of suggesting an interesting and highly potential coins. But, you can expect from most people here to suggest what and where they have invested already and still waiting and holding. Because, this is how most of the time people from this community are working. Yes, most people are looking for their own benefits rather than suggesting the actual potential things (I am sorry to few honest and generous people but talking about most other people).

Once the mainnet launches and more companies are on-boarded into their platform, it will be a game changer for the sharing economy.
Have you checked their team members and roadmap ? For example, I have followed a coin namely Aura, an alternate to etheretum (being traded in stex with symbol of ara) but their mainnet never get launched for last 15 months. Not sure about their future too.

When the conditions of the market crypto still bad will be very difficult to find interesting project. There are actually a lot of projects that come out almost every month but because market conditions are still bad so a lot of investors who still refrain to do invest in ICO or coin/token. So my personal opinion still tends to survive with a coin that has a good history on coinmarketcap.

FIL will open market in a few months, it'll be interesting to watch as well and what will happen with BSV and BCH? We must not forget that these two coins are still fighting! No such ICO exists. The goverments are pushing hard on regulating the whole market, like China, US SEC, and also UK (I read a news they will publish a consultation paper by April 25th to regulate the UK cryptocurrency market as well.

The regulations are a good way to prevent scam projects, in this way only good projects live, which is a win-win for both good projects and investors.
The most important thing is how to tread a very fine line with these regulations, to build a healthy cryptocurrency market and meanwhile not hinder the development of it (Like Basis protocol, it raised 133M but stopped by SEC and now they are totally ended). So obviously, there is not a balance now for this...

However, if you are interested in the blockchain projects that have the most potential I would say would be these 5:

1. BitTorrent (https://www.bittorrent.com/)
2. Marconi Protocol (https://marconi.org/)
3. Historia (http://historia.network/)
4. StarkWare (https://www.starkware.co/)
5. Oasis Labs (https://www.oasislabs.com/)

This is not investment advice but i think Moozicore is good project and having reputable advisor. I think moozicore ICO will make success and profitable for their investor. The thing is both project devs and and investors are scared about the prospects of new coin launches. The bear market is a major factor contributing to this. So even if a coin project has very good potential, chances are that major investors will overlook it

Many coins are developing but to be launched at this time has not yet happened, for the fork itself is delayed and requires time to be well known.

This year many new coins will be launched but not all are good. There are still many coins that are a scam and I hope you can choose the best. For now, I'm following the Bitcoin 2 project and I think you can follow it too. And now you can also check it out.

So what new coins are coming in 2019? I'm not really interested in more forks of current coins, but rather, looking for coins with new technologies. I'm looking through the ANN forum but it's hard to tell what's coming or already came without checking each one. Any new projects have your interest peaked?
2019 is a new beginning. My suggestion is not to invest in new projects until the bull market is still in the future. Such risks are relatively high.

Its always hard to distinguish good projects from bad ones and after the 2018 slump it has become even more harder. And i think all the coins are going to be interesting who are launching after 2018 as things are not that good for cryptos and it needs courage to lauch a project now.

Now there are almost no projects that can achieve anything. This is due to the loss of interest in investing in new projects at the ICO stage on the part of investors.
In addition, it makes no sense to buy tokens during ICO, if they then fall in price. It is better to buy already those coins that are traded on exchanges.

The main reason for this is, it seems to me that it is almost impossible to raise funds without having a contract with large investors in advance. A huge number of projects, just draw their fees, thereby confusing investors even more, which leads to a growing, exponential, distrust of all projects.

Actually, there are many projects with very high technology in crypto, but it will not be a guarantee that the project will be successful, the projects we will follow in 2019 are very many, but it is indeed very difficult to see whether the project will be a giant project or not.

in my opinion, just looking for coins with everything, the important thing is to get coins and coins to be listed, because this bounty campaign I make side jobs, so I don't expect more than coins but I keep following it because I'm sure one day cryptocurrency will go global, and me too will continue to hold coins even though the BTC price is still low

What is needed now is that the market needs to come back, it needs an uptrend to attract investors back to the market. ICOs will then easily call the amount they need

I am interested about the BitTorrent token that is going to do it's fund raising through Binance launchpad. I like the concept of this feature made by Binance and I think that the token itself could be useful. Also I have a goal to find a promising DAICO this year, but so far I couldn't find any.
Frankly, I also considered BitTorrent, but my opinion has changed and now I do not think that this is something worth investing in. So far, I think that you should just watch the new projects and invest only in very interesting coins, which should appear during this year.

There are much less ICOs in 2019, I am an ICO marketing manager, and several of my partners canceled their ICO plan... I am gonna join several conferences to meet up with some good VC/Investors to get some investment...

I would suggest searching for a project that is already going on and never done any ICO nor they have any premine, instamine or founder taxes. This way the funds are not pre-allocated to a certain sum.

In addition, these projects are already in development and are much less likely to be a scam.

Not only 2019, also there were many solid and credible projects that got launched in 2018 but the market conditions of last year affected most of them and some were not able to survive. The reason why you think more solid projects has been launched this year is because of the excitement currently in the industry.

In this case, the bounties with altcoin are too bad as a source of earnings. If you want to join, BTC payers will be the best choice. Or you can keep them for the future by altcoin rewarded bounties.

yes many new coins are born but not all of them still survive. we know the market is in poor condition so many new tokens produced from ico do not have prices on the market. But I still believe that if developers are really serious about their projects it can also achieve good results, but unfortunately not all developers can do that.
