Pantera Capital’s CIO Joey Krug believes, while Bitcoin may become digital gold, it cannot succeed as money given its volatility. Moreover, a dynamic monetary policy doesn’t exist within bitcoin which severely affects its volatility. Bitcoin developer Jimmy Song says the original cryptocurrency can be a powerful tool to usher in a “peaceful revolution.” What can be said for sure is that crypto will remain one of the hottest topic for discussion and analyses from expert all over the world in 2019.

I am more agreed to Jimmy Song where the cryptocurrency is a peaceful revolution and will always be strong in everything, now it almost seems impossible to rise, but anything can happen with the presence of good players in crypto, except everyone wants to drop crypto and no longer believe in crypto.

Bitcoin has to rise a bit before we can expect something. Or, surprisingly, the Ethereum has a very fast appreciation against Bitcoin.

Ethereum fork delays, affect our expectation also... We delay our profit plan...

The market may remain bearish throughout 2019 and it may take another year or two before we see improvements in the price. But crypto adoption will continue to grow despite the market condition.

I don't believe what Scott Galloway said, of course I believe in Jimmy Song's words that if crypto has a bright future, crypto has caught the world's attention and I'm sure crypto will improve in the future while crypto users are currently increasing.

Everyone has entitled to their own opinions and which we must respect though its a human nature to oppose in each whenever we felt like not contented or having different outlook about topics but the totality is no one knows what will happen tomorrow so predicting the future of crypto is for me a much stupid thing because we are only creating either negativity or positivity that mostly misleading cryptonians why not just help the community than making predictions,this is what those so called ‘experts’must do and not just publishing these words to create fud

Nobody knows, but all of them expect the best for crypto this year. Hope all the altcoin will rise again.

i wish in 2019 the price will rise again. i'm eagerly waiting for crypto to recover its price.

We will see the next date of hardfork after the next meeting of ethereum developers. it's much better rather than forced the blockchain to implement that EIP that contains vulnerability.
I guess you must understand about this thing. Just be patience.

I expect flat or minimal dump, becouse there is no reason for markets grow.
It would be cool to make some government regulation in ICO sphere in 2019 year.

I think no one can predict krypto this year, I also hope that the crypto price this year will increase compared to last December.

when you are speaking of cryptocurrencies in general and only focus on the profitability then saying "they will have a worse time in 2019" is simply wrong because right now the market is raw for new pump and dump shitcoins and that is what will happen soon.

what that statement you posted is true for, is for when you talk about the existing  altcoins that are still dumping. THEY will continue dumping and have a very hard time pumping up again because people no longer trust them.

The market for the better part of 2018 was brutal unfavorable to investors and bounty hunters alike. All these were due to the negative sentiments all over the crypto-currencies ecosystem due impart to the uncertainty surrounding the use and acceptability of crypto-currencies in our everyday business exchanges but as 2019 beckons the least one expects is a turn around of fortunes. That government across varied political Cline's and jurisdictions will begin to have a change in perspective with respect to their understanding as to the place of crypto-currencies in the new global order. I expect major coins to make some gains

I don't know about you but I really expect a bull run or something good about the price of crypto market. My portfolio has been shrinking since last year, and I hope I could gain/get back some of my capital.

I think it's important to seperate the "what to expect from crypto" and "what to expect from my investments", seemingly many put an equal sign between those two nowadays.
overall the future of crypto is very bright, but yet we're in a quite young stage - even in january the total market cap of every single coin together was similar to what a singular company like Apple's marketcap is today.
That's remarkable considering how many actually genuinely cutting edge projects are being built using blockchain!

so, I think we can expect great news during the year, but will people be ready to flock back to crypto? that's a whole other question, and considering how many people are still down 90% of their january investments, and how that generally market cycles are close to 10 years(although crypto is generally perceived to be faster); it might either way be a bit early to start another bullrun this year.

everyone hopes there will be an increase, the market recovers from this difficult situation. no need for the most important bull run the market returns green. this is everyone's hope because the market has fallen more than a year many people lose their money

I am waiting for good news from Ethereum in this year. I learnt about Bitcoin about 3 years ago. And I always read about Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin in someday. I am waiting what Ethereum big rise and go for moon. I hope it will be done in 2019.

Nobody knows really what we should expect to crypto's for this year.
But I'm expecting a little bit that the market shall rise and recover a while.

Everyone expects for the bull but we don't know it for this year.

My opinion is that this year will be the year of consolidation and at the end of year we will finally see the long-awaited bull run.  8)

Forecasts do not cease to amaze, we will see, because today it seems to me that it is very early to think about this topic, because the market is still very weak and the market, as you see today, does not react at all to the news.

Look at this message - that's how a greedy hamster looks like! He thinks only about a quick profit and ignores anything else! Such people lose their money quickly, usually during the first year in the market.

I think in 2019 more people will be interested in crypto. And its price will grow, but not so much. They are only my guesses, since I could be wrong.

What is said that Crypto is a revolution, of course, it makes sense. Crypto is a thing that many give effect to and also a fresh breeze for existing technologies. Indeed although since last year rated poorly and continued to go down but there will be a time where everything will go up again due to the large support and more Crypto functions visible for a time in the future.

My opinion is we will going to see many predictions from many people because we are free to predict where the crypto wants to go. But you don't have to believe without making any investigation or searching for yourself so that you can know the truth of one or more news in out there. It could prevent you to become panic because of the bad news because I am sure that this year, there will be much bad news will release and makes public shock or cannot think clearly.

So far, judging by January, everything is very bad, I don’t know what will happen next, but I want to see the growth of the market as soon as possible, because this year there will be many new updates in the cryptocurrency sphere and I hope the manipulators will pump the market.

As for me, I'm expecting long falling and depression. The only thing that we can do is just waiting until the situation on the market will be changed. There is no point whyc cryptomarket should recover now. We need at least 1 year before the new bullrun.
