Title: Blacklisted: Ethereum No Longer a Google Ad Keyword
Post by: Vladdirescu87 on January 16, 2019, 10:35:43 PM
Google (Alphabetic Inc.) purportedly blacklisted keywords referencing Ethereum (ETH) on its Google Ads advertising platform on Thursday, January 10, 2018.

The known Google Ads account reacted to the tweet saying that cryptoasset exchanges aiming at the U.S & Japan can be promoted on the platform and that focusing on other nations could be the primary reason for the Ad being turned down.

Any project can still advertise using different keywords that are related to cryptocurrency, if they are banning the keyword ethereum but the ads will be shown to limited websites that are cryptocurrency related, honestly that is a bad decision for Google Ethereum is so popular across the internet that their potential profit will be lost, we have bounty hunters here anyway.

I just know about this, but I am not really surprised with the google reaction. As written on article, this is not the first time google bans advertisements related to cryptocurrency. I guess this is only a temporary decision, then it will enable again as the previous cases.

The way things are worded can change the meaning significantly.
By saying, "Google purposedly blackliste..."
Means that google somehow is unjustly attacking ethereum and crypto.
That just isn't the truth, they can do what they want with their business.
And they also are including ways for advertisements to be mad...seems like a clickbait type article.

Actually, I really would like companies like google to do more things like this.
We don't need more people knowing crypto for its shitty coins and echanges.
And I would much rather have the next bull run happen with institutional money rather than fomo money like last dec 2017.
It was greedy, inexperienced fomos that made the market so unstable.

I hope this is not true. If this becomes a reality, Ethereum will fall rapidly. The entire cryptocurrency will also be affected. But Ethereum does have the possibility of failure. A new wave of technology has begun to appear in a large number of replicators.

We have nothing worry on this, the cryptocurrency community is strong projects can also advertised on article sites, forums and blogs and remember we have a large and strong community of bounty hunters, they are ready to promote and get your project in the community.
