Title: [ANN] [Bitcoin Saudi Arabia] - large mined reserved for Saudi Arabia Government
Post by: Bitcoin Saudi Arabia on January 24, 2019, 06:36:45 AM
One BIG problem of Bitcoin is: Governments don't like Bitcoin because they don't own it, not even significantly partially.

Bitcoin Saudi Arabia (BTCSA) provides part of an Excellent Solution to this problem by creating a new Bitcoin blockchain with large percentage of mined coins reserved for Saudi Arabia Government to claim without cost and hold.

Website: https://bitcoinsa.coinsgov.org (https://bitcoinsa.coinsgov.org)
Explorer: https://bitcoinsa.explorerx.net (https://bitcoinsa.explorerx.net)

Full list of new Bitcoin based cryptocurrencies for other Governments is at: https://www.coinsgov.org (https://www.coinsgov.org)  They are all now listed in the following supported Exchanges.

Listed Exchanges:
  • AppleBit Exchange (mobile app: Apple Store and Google Play Store, website: https://www.applebit.net (https://www.applebit.net))
  • More to come

There is no white paper to read in details?
is it possible that the Saudi government regulates it in the blockchain ??

No, they don't.
These guys are riding on sentiment. See:

"by creating a new Bitcoin blockchain with major percentage of mined coins reserved for Saudi Arabia Government to claim and hold"

The operative words here are:
1. creating = It's their own thing
2. new bitcoin blockchain = fork of BTC
3. major percentage of mined coin = premined
4. reserved for Saudi Arabia government to claim and hold = offering it to the government for government to distribute or hoping the government will come in and take their "created by a native" crypto off their hands

I understand you want to get to the market with this news? but the catch is that

"News from the Saudi-Emirati Coordination Council revealed that the cross-border cryptocurrency will only be available to banks during the first stage"

No, there's no support for it.
Let me put it this way; the developers are hoping the government apply and buy the premined from them: https://web.archive.org/web/20190126191918/https://bitcoinsa.coinsgov.org/

Wonder why any government will be inclined to do so when they can just commission their version easily

The reserved coins are for Saudi Arabia government to claim with no cost.

Of course, but the government can just as well develop their own crypto at no cost too. However, that does not answer the most important question: Has the company remotely interested in your project? Do they even know that it exists?
Reason for these questions is obvious since you're asking the government to send you duly stamped and sealed application on your site, that means you've got no access inside
