it seems like the cryptospace is changing your life. you need a break. you need a triple serious deliverance to cure your situation. also you need to stay away from the internet. it might help you alot. try sell off your laptops and gadget. you can lend it out for awhile. then try to join any pee group and learn how to socialize. this will help you a lot. you are really far from change.

Then why don't you stop for a day and keep yourself with other things? I don't think you need to seek professional help, all you have to do is prioritize things in life.

I guess the problem is look at crypto trading as the your main source of income, to be honest. So just get a stable and reliable job and not rely on trading as the means to bring food in the table.

When someone think crypto trading as an easy job and kep doing 24/7 will make them addicted to it,some people get serious addiction as well when they are in much greed to make lot of money.
All they want to do is now make some sort of cashflow into their life other than cryptocurrencies and be a long term investor on cryptos.

You don't have to depend on crypto trading for your living.This is the simple answer.
Crypto trading is a job.It's boring,time-consuming,tedious.
Just try to quit crypto trading for a while and see what happens.If it gets worse,you need to talk with an expect.

I started trading over 10 years ago with stocks and it was exciting. Basically it was right after the bear market was over and my first daytrade was over $50 which was made in a couple of hours.

It was exciting buying extra monitors, buying TVs to watch Bloomberg and subscribing to StockTwits and everything.

The excitement was short lived however when the markets started to trade sideways and I was losing most of my profits on trading fees and spread. And it got really boring when the markets were moving slowly and you were trying to build capital on a small 4 figure account.

10 years later... still trading the markets but the excitement is gone, its mostly very boring.

That's the effect if you are working online, you are relying on crypto trading instead of looking a decent job that gives you a stable profit not just like in trading. Trading is not an easy job, you need to spend more time just to monitor daily the crypto price movement. How boring isn't it? Trading is a sort of gambling when you are addicting on it it is really hard to quit from it. Indeed, there is always self-limitation.

Just relax dude, i think you were driven too much of your desire to gain profits. It will wear off once you get to socialize outside of your safe zone, relax, go out, have a drink, smoke, whatever that might feels you refreshing.
It is just normal once you know how to trade in the market but trust me, it will stress you in the long run. :D

Well it's not the worst addiction in the world and at least you can make money from it.  I know the feeling though sometimes I catch myself constantly checking price charts.  Sometimes its just better to hold your coins and forget about them for a long time.

This maybe the reason I can think of right now. Its crazy what 2017 has given for majority of us, and I will say that it's a lot of easy money that time. Heck even a airdrop was worth thousands of dollars without having to exert any effort.

And now the wear and tear has caught on us just like what the OP is experiencing. So I would also say that he needs to go out with friends and enjoy life itself. There's a lot of avenue to removed your mind from crypto, you just have to explore it. Even a simply chit-chat with friends and families will help a lot.

A bit funny! I think you did not need deliverance from cryptocurrencies market and been addicted to it if you are making a living from it and it is not putting you I bankruptcy or poverty is not a bad addict.  As far as you are in cryptocurrencies you are in the future.

Problem starts when its all your life. When you are on familly meeting and you need to check binance every 15 min. When all you have to say is crypto shit f.e. whats new with ether, when ZIL will have mainnet, how is lightning network developing etc. where 99% of society don't know and don't want to know what crypto is. They want to talk about sport, politycs.

Next problem starts with bear market when its harder to earn for life from trading, when aidrops are droping worthless tokens that noone wants to buy from you and you realise that you are not making a living from it...

OP I understand you very well. I'm addicted too. Good thing is that the very first thing in every addiction therapy is to admit to addiction. We just did first step which is in front of others.

Cryptocurrency could really be addictive,but that is were your resolve as a human comes into play,you have to decide what's top priority,and what should come before another,such as family.
For a beginner,its difficult go keep your eyes and mind away from your investments due to pressure of succeeding immediately but with time one should be able to effortlessly handle this pressure and just select the right time for trade and real life issues.
You sure do not need prayers,but effective management of your time everyday

Airdrop is a waste. there are still many jobs that can make a lot of money. even a trader can earn a lot of money in a short amount of time. focus on being a trader and don't try to follow airdrop. there are still many ways to achieve success and airdrop will only waste our time.

I was obsessed with markets, charting, TA and FA, etc. when I first started trading, just like the OP. That obsession was renewed for a year or two when I got into Bitcoin in 2013, but after a while trading mostly becomes a boring and sometimes frustrating chore......

start by evaluating your life and your goal and ask yourself why you do trade, why do you participate in Airdrops? You need money to do what?

Let's say you need a lot of money to buy your own home, do your own business in real life and help your family. So you decide to trade for more than 12 hours a day and you also participate in Airdrops. and as a consequence of doing trade you have to be in these groups of telegram and you use binance, Coinmarketcap.com, cryptocompare.com and other website. Dude, this will not be a addiction, you just be focused on working harder to have better living conditions.

Now if you are stealing money or borrow money to trade and you always lose money when you trade? so I recommend you stop trading and get help.

If it's the first option, then you just need holidays. only that!

BayAngelo, maybe not the best question someone can ask you, but do you have good results in trading or you make losses? I ask you for the reason to find out if you are in trading just for addiction, or money is an important factor which keeps you in that?

It would make sense for me to be addicted to crypto trading if I would have a financial benefit on monthly basis. But if there is no financial benefit and there is only wasting of time/money this is serious problem.

Since you say trading is a way to fight against loneliness and boredom, maybe you should find some solution in that direction - focus more on finding girlfriend or find some other hobby. In this way you will certainly change your life habits and spend less time in front of PC.

You will find out that you dont really need a lot of time for all those websites just to check them.
Somehow you will lose interest into opening them per hour or per 5 minutes and just track those important tokens and coins that  you have.

Just looking at the screen reading the charts and prices won't do any good to you mate. The price will increase/decrease when it has to. You have to schedule your routine and prioritize things accordingly.
I am saying this because I was in your shoes 2 years back. My day used to start with coinmarketcap and then bitcointalk forum followed by telegram groups. Later I started trading and that is when things started to get worse. I used to stick up to my phone and PC screen all the time. As time passed by I learned that spending 7-8 hours per day in crypto will be the same as spending 3-4 hours in crypto if schedule my work accordingly.
Now I complete my day job and spend the rest of the time in crypto and a little time for myself and family. Things are pretty sorted and I believe this method shall help you too.

Crypto investment will definitely change a person life into different dimension in short span of time that's why this will be more popular like this and trading also gives the income that how much do you work on that it will be both positive and negative but in the end it will be profitable.

Following prices is good, but instead you can set the alarm for the price you need and save more time. Do trade, but less risky trade is more convenient. In fact prices continue to mislead most of the time nowadays. Devote most of your time to learning new tactics, therefore when prices bloom, you will survive with better tactics.

Airdrops were a great source of income back in 2017.

The most famous one was Byteball that you got every full moon. I remember that when the coin peaked at almost $1000 it was a great source of income every month. However it only benefitted the ones with lots of BTC because you were paid at a ratio of BTC that you held in your wallets that you proved as signature.

Later there was tons of airdrops which were all based on ERC20 tokens and all you had to do was be a Bitcointalk member and post your ETH address and you were sent the tokens for free. From what I recall some were very successful like Ethereum Dark or Ethereum Lite etc.

These days there is no free lunch unless you take some risks trading.

Great advice mate, everybody should have good lucks and having definite targets on our every assets can determine where we should be in the future of our holdings. In trading using long term plans, I think that's a huge patience all about. We tend to become more eager since the market recovery became so struggling, and slow to rise. The chance of buying cheap coins is merely there, and it made us more mature in crypto.

really, that whatever we do, no one owns a trading platform can not even claim it for you. we will all go through the trading process every one of us earns it because most of us call it a job, so we have to go through it, so we can say it made us but never be ours, we can not even claim it but We have the right to be the realization of a crypto world where we are here to earn a great deal.

Well i think a lot of people with this kind of routine are actually quite successful. Though of course you compromise a lot when you spend most of your day stalking the market. It's not healthy if you ask me and there could be consequences in the long run.

Trading is also helped you to get brainy and it's very addictive also for those people don't want loss some money in trading but they can't leave without trading unless they are very addictive and will earn money someday.

It's addicting for sure, but after you already use to it many changes will happen again, when you are much assured with your position you will just stay a little time with your device and place your entry or place your exit position, you don't need to take much time as you can use it to relax while enjoying with your friends or your relatives, trading can be a good habits if you are open to any changes that can happen inside.

A life of someone who had been in crypto, earned and lose money in the past will eventually change. Same thing when you are in the other market like FOREX. If you lose some money and you somehow learned few things that might bring money to you will keep your craving to do more trading.

I would rather be addicted on something that generates or helps me earn money than being addicted on something that is illegal. Crypto trading may have changed your lifestyle, but as time goes by, you will not call yourself an addict but instead an enthusiast because you will love to explore more about crypto trading. Jump in to crypto trading make me very busy, i should spend times in the front of PC afew hours everyday,  but i like to do that because i believe i will earn alot of profit from crypto trading because now all crypto oversold and its good times for trading,  will be possible to earn profit multiple times in afew month.

Since you always monitor the market, I presume you are investing and with your time if properly manage, you can be a successful day trader.

I'm not sure if bots actually help people save time. The thing here is that people will then have the bot trading on the side while they are still doing their time consuming manual trading. It all comes down to the profit people think they can make.

Another thing is that people will have to focus on two things now instead of just one. Bots can wipe out the majority of their trading balance just as easily as people themselves do because the risk you or your bot is exposed to is still there.

If one can learn the trading and have some experience or get that while trading it can be a real great work as people can earn daily income from the trading and during the volatility they can make even huge money but yes risk is what one should be ready to take it. Because without any risk things would not be that great or returns would get limited.

Personally, I do conservative trades, like it won't make a trade as long as the trade is sure to like before going into a trade, there should be agreed indicators. Maybe I should rephrase in a way, and it helps you not monitor your trades all the time (unless you are a Full-Time Trader). I do have a job, and Bot saves myself time to hang and chill. It depends on what settings you are trying to run and how you are going to run it.

Many traders have become addicts, it's their new lifestyle. I would say it's nothing wrong in that as long as you have control and know your limits. But at the moment trading becomes your obsession that you can't control anymore and you submite whole your life and finances to that, you are in danger. So, don't ever lose control, that is my advice.

This is very common if you are into any financial market, checking your assets, trading, logging into exchanges for price update,all these are normal but one should not be solely dependent on it. Its very hard to cop up your monthly expenses based on crypto trading unless your balance is very high and you professionally know how to trade.. Find a routine job or profession other than trading, spend your time there. Keep busy yourself in social events time to time, do not devote all your time in checking crypto prices. Its not about how much money I made in trading but its more on how I learned how to control my emotions and patience on anything that needs my decision. It must be balance, yes trading can give you what you need but you have to do that very well. Some traders do a lot and they almost spend 24hrs looking at the market which is not good for me. Well,that ain't worse for me. Coinmarketcap became like a food for my daily life that I always check price every hour. But I think you should act accordingly based on the market. It's a bear market so you should have limited your exposure to crypto and most importantly those scammy airdrops. I only now check ICO review sites, cmc and exchanges once in a week.

Addiction would only come if you don't control yourself on what you are doing.

It's just normal to look at the chart as we want to see a timely information, even news we can also find information that's very helpful.

But, like I said, we need to learn how to control ourselves, if we want to do it for long term, we should learn how to manage our time effectively and that requires a discipline on our part as trader.

For me it's simple that if those addicted profitable for you and your family i think it's fine and you can continue it because i had seen there was some people in my country who being an addicted to trading and they can get decent amount of profit during trading even they can made living from it but if your addicted makes you lost your money or ruin your life i think you have to consult to a psychiatrist regarding your problem

I understand what you want to say, and I must agree with your point of view. Addiction can take a lot of money from you, this crypto addiction is making money machine, or it can be, that can be beneficial for the entire family. Trading is part of the crypto, with that everyone should be careful, in trading you can easily lose money, everything you made and a lot more. I think that you don`t need help with this kind of addiction, put your phone on a side, shut down computer and go out in nature, everyday couple hours and you will be cured.

You do not need any prayer. Is crypto not your business? Giving your time to what put food on your table how is it an addiction? Unless you are not serious with crypto as means of your livelihood then you can just stay away from the computer, internet, and news that has anything to do with crypto.

No, this is the wrong attitude, with all respect to you. An addiction is never good, in whatever way, extreme habits must be toned down to moderation. Even good things when addicted to is unhealthy in the end.

And we all know in trading, even if it's profitable for everyone, but if it makes you lose time with your family, what's the point? I know 100% families would rather spend as much time with you as possible rather than enjoy wealth without your presence.

Don’t mind him, there are lots of people out there who are praying to have the kind of opportunity he has and to grab it.  He should be thankful to God that he saw the light of cryptocurrency on time and didn’t end up wasting his money in a wine bar or a pool club. The knowledge he even has alone, a lot of people are willing to pay for it but don’t have the cash to do so or even have the opportunity to invest.

This is one of the good thing cryptocurrency has actually brought too, trading as really been of help, especially for me to generate little income I can have through it to cater for myself and my family and with time, the investment will pay off. At the same time, I do see many people are simply ignoring active trading as they prefer to hold for years and make multiple times of returns than active traders are getting.

Those links were just used by the traders,and OP trying to say that his life just filled with doing trade and he became watching the prices each minute which we can call him as trading addict.

I think this addiction is not too bad if you do it right then you can become rich in the future, but you still need to spare your time with other things, do trading is okay, you can cutoff the airdrops, it take too much time and too little reward, but simultaneously trading will give you more experience to become better trader, try a new hobby maybe could decrease your time spend for crypto

What do you define by addict? Does it mean that you are making losses?
Your daily routine is normal compared to the daily routine of a working person.
If you are seriously making money then this habbit cannot be termed as addict . And if you are making a lot of loss, then only you can say that this is an addict.
You can term this addict as your job which usually people do from 9 to 6 in offices.
Moreover trading has less chance of loss than Gambling IMO.

doesnt mean that you are already an addict but rather treat it as a routine and i dont see anything
wrong with it yet this would rather help you out to be a better trader.

Although addicting in trading is not too bad, at least he needs to take a rest for a while to refresh his body and mind. It's not healthy to stay for a long time in front of the computer, watching the price moving. Soon, the body will feel tired, and the eyes will be tired too. Maybe he needs to try to manage his time. Besides that, I think he can watching the price on his phone while he is not in his house.

Of course, if we consider the air drop as a real opportunity to generate income, then for me it is a waste of time. Of course trade is the most profitable event, but still for every professional something must precede his activity. LOL, how can that type of addiction make him loose money when it is not gambling, even most people that sit on gambling day and night does not loose completely.

Most of the things he listed as gambling will indeed build his career and help his portfolio, same way I was addicted to forex trading before the invention of crypto trading and many things I got myself addicted to has really paid off now by already making me have strategy on ground to use. So, even if the thing he is doing does not pay him now, as far as it is an educative thing that can also generate money, it will make him in the long run.

I had been in your situation once when all I did was the above you mentioned in OP. I needed to take a break to get back into my normal life.
Later on I fixed up a schedule involving my regular life and giving some time to crypto.

What trading has made me?  Trading is very profitable and it made me to become a successful person in this world of technology. Many things bought through the help of trading. Trading made me something cool because I can buy what I want and made me to become more having a longer patience because of the market troubles but it really makes us stronger and to strive higher.

Of course, each user of cryptocurrency has its own path of success, but it seems to me that the larger the scale, the better the result. I had to start with bounty companies, which I cannot refuse even to this day, because, due to the current state of the cryptocurrency market, bounty companies still remain very relevant. But nevertheless, it was this activity that laid the foundation for gaining experience in trade. This is not only more knowledge in trade, but also more opportunities to study a large number of new projects.

The effectivity of our trades if we apply all the learning's we have and such experience will help us to drive a good result in a day and in the future trades. This means that, being knowledgeable, being skilled aren't enough to be profitable but of course to have a good planning and effective strategies which is applicable into the current market trend. 

I think that's a good thing. Crypto has changed your life for the better. Trading is a continuous learning process, so trading will always be profitable no matter what the situation will be in the market.

Whales are given that they are making money, so we should be aware on what they are doing, and hope we can be whales one day, I'm sure they don't started as whales.

Well, this is exactly the function of trading bot to interpret the market data on your behalf and decide the right time to place a buy or sell market and ease you of these stress but you still have to be watching the bot too closely and be sure the one you are using is still active because I have seen a situation whereby people complain about a particular both expiring without notifying until probably they see it has stopped working when they needed it the most.

I doubt if there is any free bot out there that will be free for users and be as effective as the paid ones, but human trading is still the best option provided you can learn to study indicators carefully.

Crypto is certainly not changing his life for good otherwise he wouldn't be calling himself addicts nor wasting his time on airdrops. I think the gentleman may actually be worried about spending so much time on those things and getting nothing worthwhile in return,which is the actual meaning of addiction, in my opinion.

There is a lot of people who become better the life becausw of tje trading and including me and I thinl even you trading chnaged your life too. Your right once you eantering the trading the learning will not stop because even me and all the expert trader are continue learning to become better their life and they earn more money.

and it will always be profitable too if you make a good trade with a good strategy also when market conditions go down or rise surely you can still get a profit in trading

People want to be rich so they are trying as much as they can to reach their goal but they become addict to it without really making profits since most of them were doing trading in the wrong way.

i had a similar problem when i first got into crypto, but it got old real quick, especially once the market slumped and my portfolios valuation dropped from enough to pay off all my bills, to enough to do nothing of the sort.
have realistic expectations and know that there is a chance of this all going to zero, as much as there is a chance that it will make you rich.
