everyone please guide me, how can I understand which will be the legit and profitable project. Leave your comments here to help.

If you're looking for advice on project to invest in, you're doing it all wrong because the only suggestions you'll be getting from others is to invest in their favorite projects. Just do your own research and set some criteria a project must meet before you can invest in them. e.g I don't invest in any project that doesn't solve a existing problem.

BTW: there always will be better altcoins but only one bitcoin (limited). So make sure you own some bitcoin.

It is not a good time to invest now...Invest only in TOP-10 or wait for new hype.

I disagree, a good investors knows it's during the dip (bear market) opportunities are created due to the ability to buy-in great project at lower prices. They don't just buy into hypes.

Also don't just invest in projects because they have higher  market capitalization remember there was a time bitconnect was in either top10 or top15. Beside more money are made when you invest in good project with low market capitalization just do your research and with luck you'll find one.

There is no accurate measure of how profitable the project will be. Demand vs supply dictates everything. But if the project is really good and people start to recognize it, then there is a high chance that it can be profitable if you are an early adopter.
Take an example of Bitcoin; it took some years for it to gain value, the main player was the rise in its demand over the years.

So here are the key aspects;

• What problem does the project tackle using the blockchain?
• What blockchain based solution does it have in place?
• How unique is the solution offered from other solutions provided by other projects before
• Is the solution offered feasible?
• How experienced are the team members when it comes to the blockchain technology
• Is the project adoptable?
• Is the project in line with the regulations?

Note: Am emphasizing blockchain technology in my points because it's the newest kid on the block and would love to see it prosper

It is impossible to accurately determine what project is legitimate and more so which would be profitable.
With proper and diligent research an investor would be in a better position when putting money into a project.
Study the key areas of the project, the product and the team.
Marketing strategy is also important.

Basically if you want to invest your fund without taking any stress than i will suggest you to buy some bitcoin first.

Its not an easy task for a new investor to find legit, reliable & profitable project.You will have to research a lot of things to find a possible best one. Without proper reasearch it can't be a wise decission to put your fund anywhere. You can study our forum sections carefully where you will get reliable knowledge to choose a project by your own.

well learn how to analysis watch and track only limited coins for few days and try to invest in top 10 currency afterwards when you get experience search other good altcoins and project for investment

It's very difficult to choose or decipher a legit project to invest in,considering a large amount of ICOs are scams,its best and safest to invest in the bitcoin,but if you'll be investing in ICO projects then you'll have to do your research property and study the ICO project carefully,to be sure if it's legitimacy.
It's a big risk investing in ICO projects and it takes luck to get a good one

Before to get profit and legit from project, i think you must learn first how to check the real and scam ICO. Because not easy to find that if you are new in here

That's his question and how you are going to figure out the legit projects and how he can determine the real and scam ICOs. You can know it if starting from yourself, you do some deep research from that project.

You see the negative side because you're already an investor but you don't see the red days as something that you can take advantage with. Most investors will look to this time as the best time to invest with I agree somehow with those top coins but it doesn't you're going to buy everything there and just think of the 'hype'.

For now you have to stay away from ICO projects, most of them will only make you regret. I don't know this is a good or bad reason, but the fact is that. Choose bitcoin as your first place of investment, after that you can find altcoins that you think have a good potential and profitable.

As a newbie you need to study with so many things to identity a legit projects. For example you need to check their project's usecase and check their team members. Also check their roadmap, whitepaper etc.

There are many ways to find which are the New Projects that's going to be a huge Success.

1. Projects that are going to Solve Real World Problems gain more attention in ICO's and Success of these Projects is more compared to other Crypto Games or Other Video Sharing platforms.

2.In 2017 Alone 90%+ Projects failed after concluding ICO's, because they just pitch Concepts in ICO's that is not possible in real or Not able to Achieve by team. So Always look out for Projects that have Working Product for DEMO MVP.

Ex : Lynkd.World - Has complete project working and has achieved many partnerships, they have reached softcap and i know they are going to be a Huge Success.

3. Don't Ever Rely on ICOBench or Any Other CryptoSites for Rating. Rating Cannot Decide Success of the Project. In Many cases there are instances were 4+ projects get flopped because they are Clowns of already Working Companies.

      HandleMode - Is 4+ rated Project but it was not able to raise Funds.

4.Don't Ever depend on the Ratings, No of Members in TG group to Judge Project. Always Go Straight to Whitepaper and Verify CEO and Other Founders on LinkedIN, then move towards technicalities of Project to Decide to invest or not to invest.


Apart from this Projects Launched in before such as TRON, Stellar Network, Ripple Have Huge Potential and i believe their price going to rise soon. So buy during Bear Market and Mutiply your Money in 6 Months.

Asking other people what to invest in is a risky strategy, it’s your money at the end of the day and relying on subjective at best, manipulative at worst answers from people who likely have a vested interest in certain projects is not going to gain you the information you are after.

There’s plenty of time to research things ant the moment the market is not moving particularly fast either way, take your time and get to know the details of anything you want to invest in.

Go read the project white paper and you'll clearly understand the value of the project. Another thing important is the project team, funding and promotion. So when there are available, go check with specific websites that validate the project worthiness and pick on your choice for investment.

If you are looking for someone to miraculously to give you a golden coin to buy low and sell with amazing profits in a short time than don't.. It's possible that everyone has it's favorite coin (like I have). But if you are to invest in a new coin you should do a good research on your own. It's best you always do an accurate research before putting your hard earned money in an idea.

You should read their whitepaper, and need to know who are they behind the project. Find out, are there have any good partnership with that project. You can also see the opinion about some project from cryptodiffer.com, smithandcrown.com and like so more.

And spend more time in forum first before investing,we all know how cruel this market to those noob investors so the best option is read more,study alot and use all media platforms to have the credentials being a good trader/investors in future

First, you need to read the feedback of the people, there are plenty to choose from so don't make a decision right away.
Don't get hype, look at the potential of the project and the people behind it, it's very important that you understand how risky
it is investing in crypto.

Well, FYI, you are entering in a high risk investment, so you need to do due diligence, don't just listen with feed back alone, make your own
research also, information are available in the internet so give some time to do it because investing is never easy in crypto.

If you do well, then it's the time that you expect good return, crypto is amazing, though it's a high risk form, but the potential is big.

You should not consider someone's opinion about you investing on a project they mention without your own investigation or research about the ptoject as it may be scam and you may also get "RED TAG" (which is not good/bad reputation) if you promote the project even if you know that the project is obviously no purpose or in short "SCAM".

I often evaluate projects based on the following principles:

1. Basic things like: development team, project concept, white paper, long-term development strategy must be clear
2. Evaluate project potential based on ability to apply and solve problems in real life.  What does it solve for life, how does it apply blockchain technology?
3. How to build community, organize events, meet, conferences. A good project must have a strong community and a large ecosystem
4. How to protect investors: it is best not to have bounty, airdrop, gleam programs.
5. The most important thing of a project according to me is the technology and the financial potential behind the project.

You can see a lot of good projects like Steemit, NEM are in top 50 CMC projects but they have a lot of difficulties when the market goes down. Therefore, a project that wants to develop in the long term in the bear market conditions must have a lot of funding.

Am also new here but want thing l understand is that when it comes to investing in a digital asset need good reasonable amount of knowledge about this asset. There is no perfect advisor or a guarantee you can get. Just do a full research about the project before investing

Assuming you already learn the basics in investing, I think you should be more particular on the feedback of the people.
When a certain project is good, you will likely see good feed back in the forum and you should also make sure that those are not fake feed back
as there are also members who are doing such job to get paid.

In addition, do some more research in other sources, more sources will give you a better view of the project.

 Invest in what you think is a good company. Figure what the actual use case of a token is. If it's utilitarian in nature or not, find out what sort of real reasons there are to actual hold a token / investment. Plan, Invest.

There is no magical formula, you have to read articles and white papers before investing in any projets

First of all you have to do your own research about the project that you want to invest. Read the whitepaper,  check the team,  social media etc

There are a lot of scam projects nowadays and it is very hard to determine which of them are the legit ones. The best way you can do to know if a certain project is real is through reading the whitepaper and checking out the team of the project if you can find familiar faces of those who were involved on a successful project once. Always monitor how they check the activities within their projects so that you may know if they are really paying attention to it and taking good care of the project for a better outcome.

Keep your money in your pocket, and invest time in training and educating yourself. Read some of the informative threads here, and ask questions. Top it up with some YouTube videos.

Not many new comers pay attention to such suggestion. They think crypto trading is a fun and there is no background knowledge required to start this trading. Thats why most new comers end up losing there money to those who have strong knowledge.

Dont look at what is being said or written by a projext and dont be impressed by white papers and road maps. These ste unimportant things. Talks chap as they say and you need to see actions taking place according to the plans. Plans without actions are meaningless. Simply skip all projects with bad plans. The rest you need to see if they have the funding and means to achieve what they plan and if they are trying to complete their plans using section then I suggest considering investing in them. But please don't fall for obvious scams. There so many out there.

Well yeah, without knowledge in the space you can't make the right decisions when putting money into altcoins. Especially in these times when nothing else is pumping besides bitcoin. I believe that bitcoin significance is gonna keep on growing in the future though compared to altcoins. So probably for the new people if you don't want to learn much then it is better to just throw in the money into bitcoin as a safe bet for the future.

I also found out that learning what FOMO and FUD are can be very helpful.

Best is to start with bitcoin, as recommended by other members. To find some good projects you have to do research and spend some time in this area. Like reading news daily, seeing the coinmarketcap, posting and reading here. Only then you are able to successfully recognize a project. There is no shortcut to becoming millionaire quickly.

Before taking anyone's advice try to explore everything about the project by yourself. Go to the official website of the project and read about it. Be aware of scammers before putting all your money into one project.

What the meaning Legit project is ico? ancients, profitable project of ico you can look of the fund raise when ico can high fund raise its mean ico is legit and profitable. but for now ico is not profitable yet.
so if you want to invest, i advice to invest in bitcoin or altcoins like Ethereum, LTC, BNB etc that really good for future indeed can bring your profit

I would suggest to make a research first before investing in cryptocurrrncy and be aware of ICO and IEO since some of them are scammers and leaving the project after they accumulated the funds from investors which is not good for crypto world.

And check for the top 10 on cryptomarketcap website since they really are good for making a profit.

Visit coinmarketcap.com and you can search coins and select some coins that you might interested look for its exchange, trading volume, and how active it is, there are some coins that no updates within months but has huge trading volume beware on it as you can be a victim of pump and dump scheme by whales , you will only succeed on which coins will be profitable by proper searching and decision making it all depends on you.

Go to coinmarketcap.com and choose from top 10 or top 20 projects, the rank up to that level because of how good they are, if you are in for some profits and care less about long term hold then create account on finance exchange and wait for any upcoming IEO launchpad, you might want to do research on what IEO is

How you can understand that? By getting deep knowledge about technology behind project you are interested in.
If you would in case of Bitcoin for example, you would KNOW that its this kind of invention that happens 1 in 100 years. Then after realising that, you would stop search of promising project to invest because you could only earn by buying earlier and selling faster than most fools :P :)
