the tokens they stole are still stuck in the wallet, is this a system error or the person who did it, and what is the solution, thanks in advance

i think its not system error.. the tokens are still there.. maybe he will transfer it later.. no solution for this one as you cannot get back the tokens anymore..don't use that wallet anymore

Make sure you have proper malware and antivirus software installed in your computer. And don't visit skechty websites or email links. Definitely get a new wallet and follow proper setup for your best security. And never share your private keys with anyone!

The only thing you can blame is yourself, or maybe the security of the metamask software if it was, or if it was a hardware, the security features are so much vulnerable. Also, yourself are subjected to expose your private keys in order for the hackers to access your accounts.

This is the first time, I am reading that MetaMask was hacked, I have been using it for some time and really help especially with phishing websites, may be you expose your private keys on a wrong site that later gain access to your account. To prevent this kind of scenario buy hard wallet

Metamask wallet is one of the safest Wallet right now and from your post I said that this two coins  are still in the wallet so I don't know what you mean by they have been stolen.
 however if you feel like your wallet has been compromised the best thing to do is to move your tokens to another storage but is another wallet on another device and do not disclose the private keys or save it on your personal computer. The best you save your private key is used in a cold storage to prepare play with dog tags and in physical location.

You have to keep your private key very secure & don’t share with anyone, don’t copy paste as well.
Your tokens are still in your account & might possible will unfrozen soon, next time only open your wallet at the time of to make a transection.

If you are using metamask you need to make sure you are using the real metamask wallet since there are some fake wallets and extensions that can steal your coins and tokens, maybe this is what happened to OP.

I feel sorry for your loss mate.I experienced also this before and lost almost $500 dollars worth of eth including tokens. You cannot recover it anymore so the best thing to do is install Malwarebytes and adware just like what I did. It’s a best antivirus for any spyware and exploit.

Yes metamask is always safe and you don't need to be afraid of its security. You should protect yourself and your computer away from malware so they can't steal your private keys

I think his PC has been hacked and hacker got his private key. Otherwise metamask is so secure wallet. A lot of user using metamask and they are safe, some months ago hola extension was hacked and some users of metamask who used hold hola extension they got hacked. But after that everything was okey. I used to think metamask wallet was very secured until I was hacked and losed 1 ethereum. I had various wallets on the metamask app and was transferring a token from one of the wallets held by the metamask only to get a deduction alert from my Imtoken wallet, the wallet which had the deductions was different from the wallet I was transferring tokens from. I quickly moved some tokens out of the wallet. I sincerely don't know how the hacker gained access to my wallet, I guess it's through a malware.

I am so sorry after hearing this. I think it is your own fault and where you store your pass/private key someone can access. So you should to create new wallet for storing crypto. And should change all password to be safe.

Dude, please provide as much information as you can when post somethng like this. Transaction ids are important, but also there are very important questions - have you ever used any suspicious links to get to myetherwallet and how do you keep your private keys?

As others have pointed out, transactions are irreversible, so there's no way for you to get it back since it is already on the hackers wallet. The best thing to do is not used your wallet anymore at it is already compromised and next time be very careful, and scan your pc will malware or keylogger.

I am just trying to wonder how your metamast got hacked, because to me, if you had kept your security details safe, no one could have had access to it. true cause metamask is very secured wallet and no one can hack it unless if you browse a link  then you put all you private information on it such site that requires KYC .cause that is the common reason nowadays.  This is the first time actually  and this can affect for sure to thus ppl who have trust on metemask..

That's also my opinion it's hard to hacked metamask because they worked like metacert to track scam sites or you are longing in a verified erc20  sites, you should think carefully if someone got hold of your wallet, I don't think it's metamask fault at all.

Somebody got your private key if you did not transfer then someone has your private key metamask is safe they are just a tool to interact to a verified erc20 sites or application, they cannot make a transfer someone has access to transfer funds better create another metamask account and protect your private key.

I do not usually trust in online wallets because I think they cannot provide a high security level which I need to store my funds. I have bought a ledger wallet and it is very comfortable to use and I also do not face difficulties by tokens transfers and other transactions. Can only recommend to buy a wallet to avoid such unlucky things.

The error can not be it, you mean somewhere lit up your private key, I think maybe entered another exchange with metamast, I would have transferred from your wallet tokens and would not use it anymore

But trust me other software that similar to Metamask, has more issues, and I think Metamask is still the best option. I really don't want to make it worse by blaming yourself. But most of the crypto wallet hacking happen because the owner are reckless, the first thing is do you keep your private key secure? Put it in a secure computer with good antivirus and security, and never share it to anyone. Or maybe you just installed an untrusted software and you don't have a good antivirus.

you should transfer all your asset to new wallet. a have experience from a friend of mine. the hacker of your wallet will transfer again when your wallet has a fund again. and he will do all over again.

I don't think anything can be done to recover fund, you now only need to take protective measures so that it doesn't repeat itself anymore. Basicaly metamask and MEW or some extension like that is a client-side interface helping you interact with the Ethereum blockchain.

Thats true. MEW and metamask is not a centralized wallet where they will store all of users data inside their server but instead they are just a tool to interact with blockchain. This also means all the security and funds safety is on the hand of the users and they dont have any responsibility.if there is a hacking.

To much engagement into online will sometimes leading for hackers to track our activities especially when visiting unsecured sites. It may also some reason which do sharing of computers to the others and leaving you account seen from them.
Not just quite good for us, better to used single computer rather than of visiting internet coffee or what ever where internet connections and IP's have shared for anyone inside.
