Its quite good always to be optimistic and sometimes you think of what's the worst thing that can ever happen with which one prepare well. Considering the rate at which guyz are so expectant. I thought, what if the bull refuses to run? What will guyz do? ???

ICOs are becoming so bad publicity for the crypto scene that no one wants to join anymore If you ask me. Not to mention that people who are joining are coming for the wrong reasons, they want the quick profit without even studying the technology and that doesn't help us in the long term.

Personaly nothing. I will not give up and quit Bitcoin but wait for the market to recover and price to go up. Bear market can't last forever and sooner or later the trend will change, it's just the question of time and how long is one prepared to wait and adjust accordingly. It's not always easy to hold on but if you have clear goals and strategy and you are prepared for every scenario then it's much easier.

To be honest, I'm not 100% here for the profit. I want Bitcoin because I could use it to for daily transfer of money around the world. There's a company that handles Bitcoin wallet which we could use to pay bills, buy loads, game credits and more. So I don't really care much if Bitcoin refuses to go bull.

Welcome to another slump year... ICOs are dying and people who thought crypto was a get rich quick scheme have already exited the space. Only true believers will remain. If this is good or bad, it is arguable.

If the bull refuses to come we would still remain expectant and patiently waiting on until the bullish market comes around but I think there is still a long to go

Some might move into altcoins or other investing options but majority will still continue with bitcoin which I think the best way to face such scenarios because bitcoin market is unpredictable so the bull run will not come in this year but know one can say what will happen after that and that is why even there is a major risk involvement holding in long term with bitcoin is a smart decision to take than moving from one investment to another which will increase the risk and also waste time at the end

Even if bull run is not going to come there are still many benefits in this ecosystem.
You can do a lot of activities if you want to make a profit. You will just don't multiply it in a long term period. Does a bull run happen in your native fiat currency exchange rate? No... But you still HODL it.

First of all, that ^bull run^ is just a speculation that will come by us and it's not human being itself to decide whether to come or not.

If bull run takes place, it won't just let BTC alone fly but alts will follow; but if it doesn't happen, then too there's nothing bad in it until the price doesn't slip and remain stable and strong. It would gain extra attention that BTC, a very highly volatile cryptocurrency had been playing stable during the most influential launches and approvals as well as regulations taking place. I want bull run to happen, but slowly, as it may prove to be the last bull run we might ever witness during our lifetime.

If the 2017 bull run was our last, then that's unfortunate(assuming you're referring to the bull run not coming back forever). If demand stays stagnant forever or drops, it most probably means that bitcoin is stuck at being a niche product(for internet nerds like us). I hugely doubt it though, as there's definitely a long way to go for bitcoin. Bull runs will naturally occur if there is demand with bitcoin; and one good thing that could cause demand is actual usage. It's pretty much just a matter of 'when' in my opinion, rather than 'what if'.

For now, let's stop focusing on price. If you're not really willing to wait for years or probably decades, then get out of the cryptocurrency market as it's most likely not for you.

Then sell and move on if you cannot stand the heat. I mean some of us resisted so long in this bear market without sell or panic sell and now when bear market is almost gone and we can finally see some sunshine in cryptos. Most of you will cash out for good this time and after this the bull run can begin again and the whales are very aware of the present of weak hands so just stay strong a little more.

Then it'll be great to weed those who are in it just for the money and preserve the ethos of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. I don't think it would really be that bad in the end considering that everything is working fine even without the high value / BTC. If anything, merchants might even be accepting bitcoin as a form of payment considering that the volatility is somewhat eliminated already in this type of setup. After all, a steady increase is better than a sudden burst of interest that will surely fade over time.

I think of Bitcoin like really dry tinder in a forest after a very
hot dry summer, all it takes to set off the wild fire is a spark!

Take the next "big" event that is on the Bitcoin horizon "Black halving"
next year, there will more than likely be a bit of a run on before
the event, what the extent of the run will be is anyone's guess
but its events similar to this that could start a run.

It's okay to think badly but don't overdo it, keep calm because crypto doesn't lose hope to recover its value again, and if you keep holding it you will have the opportunity to make a profit.

If the bull run refuses to come now doesn't mean it will not come, one thing is certain about this technology that, "patience while you invest". The panic sellers did alot of evil to the crypto market and here are the remaining HODLERS who believe in the technology.

It'll mean that the market won't get flooded again by non-believers who think btc is just a way to "get rich quick", the ones remaining will be bitcoiners who actually use bitcoin. It'll also mean that the price will move accordingly to supply and demand dynamics, and seeing how more and more merchants everyday are embracing btc as a form of payment, you can be sure that demand will increase in the long run making the price go up.

Keep using btc as usual.

Instead of looking as investment, try to look  it as one of the global payment method available to us.
you will overwhelmed it is very cheap and convenient to do payment in bitcoin.

But still you are thinking it as investment, then forget it as bad investment (if bull run never happened. )

What else can we do, it's too late to quit. Personally I'll continue being optimistic remembering those who bought bitcoin in 2009 and HODL until 2017 saw massive profit and the possibility of that repeating itself is there. Also the technology behind bitcoin is the reason i do have faith in bitcoin becoming more successful.

The market has shown a slight bullish trend, and we don't know how long this is gonna be bullish. With the days sudden market growth expect good growth in this year. 2019 is predicted to make a big change in the market focusing on the 2020 halving. Probably every tokens too have increased in value as the bitcoin market have increased.

i don't want to think of any thing negative so i strongly believe the bull run will come again. it may take a long time but eventually we will experience it again. Let's continue to stay posiive and hope for the best

The bull run will be anyway. This is a certain regularity that has not been violated for how many years of the cryptocurrency's existence. So I'll still keep my coins and not leave crypto, even if the bull run have to wait a few more years.

People are so much concern about the market of price of bitcoin than the actual benefits bitcoin has introduced to the financial world. We need to understand that there will never going to be a bull run of Bitcoin. What happened in the latter part of 2017 is not going to happen again. Its time people looked beyond the market value of Bitcoin and focus on the real function of it. 

There is no guarantee that everything will happen as expected by investors and at the expedite. I believe the crypto market will grow very much, so I will continue to hold Bitcoin, even if it long time.

And does not mean we want it, it will eventually happen.

We are investors so we should be really patient. It is true that there is no guarantee that the price will increase but instead of losing your money on selling off quickly your investment, we should just wait. The price is not constantly changing, we are dealing with a volatile cryptocurrency so we should take advantage of its every changes.

You need to wait for longer to see the bull will come and you need to have more patience. Without having a patient, you only get stress and cannot realize that the bull market will not happen in a short time. I still waiting for the bull market and I am happy for a while to see the price can jump to $3600 and I am fine if I need to be patient.

Just like what smart investors do in a bear cycle, buy and accumulate as much as you can. Eventually, bull run has to happen, might takes years though, but definitely it will come. This is really a journey and if you don't have patience in this market, then you should get out because it's not for you. I wouldn't do any investment on ICO's, too risky because of so many of them don't have real life usage and will just be a tool for manipulators for a pump-and-dump scheme. Stick to the old and proven crypto, and that is bitcoin.

Bulls had refuses to come months ago, you can't feel their presence the only that is present the whole time are the whales trying to collect all the valuable tokens we dump in fear. What's the best thing to do for now is just keep your presence somewhere else too, like concentrating on your day job. Look away.

The day you posted this topic, the bull gods have answered your prayers, it is not exactly a bull run in the price but we saw some recovery from the week old downward movement.  ;) anything is possible in this market and never expect the market to be like this all the time, we will see both sides of the coin, you cannot have bull run all the time or vice versa, the markets will recover in due time, it might even take a couple of years or even more than that, but the bulls will return in this market and that is what everyone is waiting for.

The market condition will change for sure its only a matter of when its will come,it might not be anytime sooner but I'm ready for the worst I won't give up on bitcoin and you shouldn't too, my worries is about those new people that invest blindly in projects that have nothing to offer ,we really really need crypto police to open people's eye

This is a very sad question to ask about. But what if this really come to happen? I can't help but to imagine that this will bring a total disaster to a lots of crypto users, most especially to the investors of Bitcoin crypto currency, much more to say those big known people of the crypto. But, despite how the crypto market runs, I don't want this to happen.

I'm one of the investors who quitted in investing in ICOs. The ICO has now bad reputation from the cryptocurrency community. For those who investors who still have plan on investing in icos,  you should ne really careful due to the risks that you are going to face.

If there is no bull run only true believers will remain and that will be a good thing to grow back the reputation of cryptocurrency

It means nothing if you look at the bitcoin as a way of digital money transfers. I mean bitcoin has got many more applications than just earning money for the investors. If over the period of time it doesn't come up with bullish trend and stuff then it won't collapse but might get focused for its real application of making digital transfers. It is that simple to think. But most of the people here are investment minded and want quick rich schemes from bitcoin which it can't provide as such.

bull run is simply another stage in the market which happens unless that market is dead so unless you think bitcoin is dead there is no reason for a bull run to not happen ever again. so the real question is whether you think bitcoin is dead or not?

besides, unlike other markets, bitcoin is constantly growing because it is new and is on the path to mass adoption. and as the adoption of it grows, the demand grows and with a limited supply the price rises inevitably.

Guys can certainly do nothing than to be trading as before. As I write, the market is all green, thanks to a massive pump of money into the market. I hope this will be sustained.

If the bull run will not takes its place this year, maybe it is not a problem because if we are really a true crypto lover we can hold our asset even if the bull run will not come for so long. It is not really a problem to those who have patience, most of the people that has a great experience on the crypto has a courage to wait for the next pump, we really need to wait for the bull run for good.

Are you thinking the bull will never come because of people's expectations? This is quite weird. Have you taken some time off to search through the history of cryptocurrency? If yes, then i know you noticed the periodic alternation between bear and bull markets. One market condition is never permanent irrespective of how long it last. Bull market will return whether you believe it or not.

If the price could stabilise, and the adoption could spread out then I don't mind with the current price, bull run is for attracting more investors and the adoption, bull run will make the bitcoin future better, but the one that we need is the price stability and the investors that really invest because of the technology

This can be happen. Or the bull that we expect, it may not be what we want. When we call the bull, we remember the big price increases that occurred at the end of 2017. What if the price doesn't rise so fast in the next bull season?

Why does the bull refuse to come, and I think there will be a chance for the bull to come. I'm not too pessimistic and don't think the market will be like this forever.

If there will be another refuse of the bull run there will be another group of people who bite the bull trap.

A bull run will come but in reality, nobody knows when it will come.  All we can do is continue supporting bitcoin and working hard on crypto projects. 

I don't think about this bad thing because I hope that this will not happen. If that happens, I think the market after two years will end without any interest from investors and no new transactions will be created.

I don't think that a possible scenario can be a bearish market forever (it would mean the failure of cryptocurrencies in general). Sooner or later the market will start to recover again, but in the meantime, probably many projects of altcoins will die...

If that was happen ,i think i should stop and quit because cryotp was not worth like before. But i believe bull run will come and bear market will not last forever. We need to wait more time before jumping into conclussion.

I agree. We have not to give up, things gonna happen unexpected so we just have to prepare for it though it takes long time. There is a recovery in the market, even it is not a bull run, I believe many have gonna take opportunity on it. Do not quit because you believe it won't gonna happen because you gonna regret the time that you doubt it instead of having it. I also having different potential coin with me and continue to wait for the good movement in the market.

This is just a game, some years of winning and some years of losing. We've been high last 2017 but it turns into difficulties after bull runs which covering the entire year of 2018 and it continues until today. We still not have indications for the bounce back and I feel it will take a long until mid of this year. We can't speculate clearly as we are in decentralized form market, lets see what we've got this year and accept it.

I believe crypto market won't disappoint us, I may accept that this is the right moment to the win against odds. It will take time to make recoveries for such huge drop happen. The bull will be tired on hiding, and it will appear in the market soon. If the bull refuses to come, then we should wait again because at the end of the day bull will have no more choice but to pump the market up high. Its ok, don’t rush the market, it will still grow.

I think that the market of the criteplate has already absorbed so much funding, work and involvement of entire communities that there is no chance that it will fall completely - it's not the tulip bulbs that many of us read about ;-)

So it is a rather serious market that, like others, is subject to trends, waves, etc. Not so long ago we had gigantic increases, after them a significant correction had to come - it lasts a few months but it's good ... during this time the blockchain is still developing, new projects are being created, solutions are being prepared, and this is preparing a better track for bulls for the next race...

yes . you must wait a little more longer before you decide to quit  and its impossible actually for the bear to become permanent because we all know that this is just part of the cycle of cryptocurrencies  .  bull can always come unexpectedly and if you look at the market now , you will see that the value's of cryptos are now going green  .

The price might be declining for a long time now but we should not worry. We all know that the time will come and might be a long time rest for the price after a long time of that volatility. I wonder how long will be this decline, it might not be that long before we would be able to see the price going back to $4K.

True. How many times was Bitcoin declared deceased? I believe this is another one practically.

The funny part is that the resilience of this currency and it's community is something worth nothing and mentioning just like probably studying. It's this pioneer spirit that builds new inventions and drives the world towards a determined direction. We are changing the world and a lot of us don't truly notice yet.

How can it refuse? It's the market who will decide and if you see that there's a bull run but then it is really not then that is called a bull trap and every traders know that. It's very hard to condition buyers to make them believe that it's a bull run so that's also going to be a challenge that we must overcome first.

Bull run will occur without specific season or time so we just have to wait on when it will going to happen, as long as there's a demand then it can happen thus stay optimistic.

The thing is you have to be patient and dont let negativity strike your mind to commit a decision that you might regret sooner or later hence if you believe bull run is possible in near future then wait and have a firm decision regarding your holdings.

This market move in cycle and it cannot complete continue moving in one directions.  The bearish market will be over one day and the bull run  will start and this might happen very soon.  Some traders have this in mind and that is why they are not bother.

Bull run is not something all by itself like an entity that refuses something. Bull run is us saying bitcoin worth more than it is now so the price increases. Which means in order for the bull run to NEVER come again we need to always think bitcoin doesn't worth more.

However, considering there are more investments into crypto companies, more huge corporations getting into crypto, more laws put into affect about crypto, more countries support it and all that combined bitcoin does gain a lot of value in the end. While bitcoin and crypto gets so much more popular there is really no way of stopping crypto to be bigger in the future. The more attention it gets the higher the price will be.

After all its still about how much people think bitcoin worth but when it gets this much bigger its inevitable for people to start thinking it worth a lot.

I will not sell and will keep holding, I am aware that the market is in difficult conditions, so whatever happens I will be patient.

Then we have an oddly stable market that we all have been craving for. I think a market without a bullrun or bear is not really a market. All these bearish experiences make profits worthwhile. Mind you, the recent surge to $3700 and still maintaining a price above $3600 should say a lot about possible bullrun. One can't just predict when exactly the real run starts.

Don't just think the unimaginable think according to the fact and sources, because that is the only certain things that could give you a lot of idea about what is happening in the market. If you have full of knowledge you don't have to worry about not coming back etc., because you have a guide already. And besides, you will know it in the first place if the market would not going to come again as long as you have the idea.

Waiting is the best thing to do, no bull run no big profit and I'm sure we all are after of that.
The market condition is not good, market has not recovered yet, what we are seeing now is just a minor increase but no signs of bullish yet.
If we can wait then good for us because it's the right thing to do, we need time now and we have to wait for that right timing.

I believe everything will be good again, not only for BTC but for all legit altcoins also.

That's the spirit of every hodlers, we should keep on the positive side even if the market is not in a positive trend. Bull run will come, though it will not come early this year or even with the whole year its also ok for me, I will just save money to buy more holdings. We can not really said bull run will not come again as it has never happened in this type of market.  Bullish conditions has made some people to said bitcoin is in bubble and some other has said bitcoin is a speculatives market.  Now that bitcoin is seriously down we are looking at it as If it is dead but bitcoin and blockchain technology is going to rise again as it has happened in 2011, 2014 and 2017. I have this strong confidence on the market and I believe that we are at the time of recovery.

yes you are right, no one will ever know when a bull run will occur and bitcoin will always grow as more and more technology that is owned by those who use bull run will happen but no one will ever know when that can happen.

Hey Bull rally cannot be expected over night, it takes a specific event, and months of speculation for the bull rally to begin. Also bullish or bearish people have been calling bitcoins a bubble since it’s inception, but they have been proved wrong. I’ll second that as it’s in bitcoins history to bounce back, currently we’re seeing steady adoption and if some positive news comes in we may just see another rally begin with it.

Bull run will definitely come back, it always happens because there will always be changes at any time in the digital currency world. When the current situation is not good, I will continue to think positively because I am sure that there will come a time when the situation will improve. At times like this we are being tested for patience, because when we cannot deal with a situation like this maybe we will experience failure.

I'm too optimistic where in things like this didn't come into my mind. This is the result of not thinking negative and has a full trust in btc. Oviously, bull run won't happen year by year. If it didn't happen in 2 years, understand that we have more time in bear compared to bull. Don't let others influenced you their negativity.

This can happen but even if the bull run will not come soon i think a bull run will come, let say in medium or long time, so is better to continue our lives as before even if the bull run not comes and wait until then and get more coins.

You are talking as if the bull was a single entity, the bull market will be made by all of us and the new investors that decide to enter this market so as long as people are thinking about benefiting themselves and bitcoin keeps improving then the price will at some point in time recover and go through another bull run so it is useless to worry about this.

Only need to be more patient, as time goes on there will definitely be changes in crypto conditions in a better direction. Crypto has not lost hope, I believe and I will be patient waiting for it.

This is not the first time that bitcoin price is trading low. I think there is no need to become frustrated, we have good expectation from bitcoin, I hope that very soon bitcoin price will recover and we will a bullish run again. i feel you bro .  your trying to say that we must continue living our life with or without bull run because we are still seeing a small increase from time to time which is good because that can add up something from our existing income .  in reality , bull run can just come but it is not predictable  . this is the job of the crypto whale's  ,  maybe they are only waiting for the right time  .

Well i still think it will come sometime in the future. But yeah, we don't really need an actual bull run if the market is steadily crawling upwards. Especially for people like me who's pretty much invested for the long term.

It will depend on what you want to achieve and how you want to achieve it, if you are an investor that only cares about the money you can get then you will not get benefits out of bitcoin anymore and it could be a good idea to invest in something else, but if you are a trader this does not affect you since there are thousands of other coins in which you can put your money and get profits that way, now if you really believe in bitcoin and the technology then there is not a reason to sell if the bull run never happens.

Nope I disagree with that and actually we need a bull run since it can accumulate new people, adoption  and legalization. And also all people will be happy to get a huge profit if bull run comes and I'm so sure that you will be happy for that time to come since you might gonna earn double or even triple for investing it for long term as you said.

For me if the time  that bull run not comes I'm still continue here in crypto and do what I do at the first day since I came here be calm and trust to yourself that you can still make a profit in crypto. And I think bull run still comes as long people use crypto a d projects are still using cryptocurrency.

There is a saying that "what go up, must come down and what goes down will definitely going to goes up again " Bitcoin has fall seriously before and it later recover and I strongly believe that it is impossible for bitcoin not to rise again.

If those early investors of bitcoin had been waiting for many years until it reached the all time high at $20k then I still believe that this can happen again in the right time. If not this year...then extend our patience until it comes. The market is now slowly recovering as we can see some good rise on their prices of those leading coins which is a good sign that we can still hope for this year. Indeed don’t lose hope because bearish will end soon.

Well it didn't :D. Good news is we are once again above 4 thousand dollars which is a good threshold to pass, lets hope for 5 or 6 or even higher will come and we will be relaxed about the price for a while. Being close to bottom is always a fear among people, when the bottom in the past 1 year is 3200 and you are at 3400 or so people fear we may go even lower than the 3200 price because we are so close and one big sale would make it go down.

However, when the price is above 4 thousand dollars (or more) its harder for price to go below 3200 levels so at least we know that bottom is far away and we are secure. The further we move from bottom the more braver people will get, if the price reaches 6500 today people will not fear from going below 3 thousand dollars because its unlikely but if we are closer to 3500 than people will start to fear which makes the price go down.

Hodl or selling, if the bull run won't has its spot out and bump this year, possibly it's anything but an issue in such a case that we are extremely a genuine crypto sweetheart we can hold our advantage regardless of whether the bull run won't desire so long. It isn't generally an issue to the individuals who have persistence, the vast majority of the general population that has an incredible affair on the crypto has a bravery to hang tight for the upcoming price bump, we truly need to sit tight for the bull keep running for good.

If there would be no bull run theres nothing we can do about it but rest assured that there would really be a time on where prices would rise up because you cant really see a market

This has to be strategy during the bear market as per me as that you do not lose money selling at low price unless you require urgent funds or want to sell off worthless coin which anyways will not give any return even in future .

It is really hard for me to believe in that scenario, especially with technology improvements. If bear market continue for few years I will probably buy more cryptos in hope for another bull run.

Though i know that this will never happen and impossible to become reality yet i will give my opinion
