Is such an upgrade should lead to a dramatic in price? I doubt that the update will have a strong effect. Cardano price (connected to Bitcoin) is one of the most stable coins in last few months. The quality of the release will be what ensures longevity of the price rise, could just be a case of buy the rumor sell the news.

Is such an upgrade should lead to a dramatic in price? I am not sure if the ADA has a price increase, but I believe in the long term Cardano is a coin I want to hold. From the official news revealed about the release of Shelly it has put forth the updates taking place along with it. Shelley phase will include the following developments: multiSig transactions, enhanced Wallet backend, light client mode, networking, paper wallets, consensus and incentive fees, open Ouroboros delegation, quantum resistant, a voting center, and human-friendly addresses. In this space people always price major news announcement into the price of the tokens and dumped when the event occur. Just be-careful with your trade here

This is not a minor change but one that will set it on the right track and sets it apart from the other dapp platforms. Not yet an ethereum killer but one to invest in early before other updates are released
