Who did you agree to? You're referring to the term called FOMO. Some investors (not everyone) buy when the price is increasing because they don't want to miss the bull run but no one knows when it'll end.

Agree on you @ralle14  . not all will buy when the price is increasing . im not not a fan of fomo because i see it as a bad strategy to invest . i only follow the main oath which is   " buy low sell high "  because i am sure that the coins that i will choose wont failed me .

Bitcoin has always been my best choice and has become the best coin for me to always be able to buy and own. Yeah I think, I will never regret when I buy Bitcoin.
However, for now I also bought 2 Altcoin, which in my opinion is good, I bought Ethereum (ETH) and BitTorrent (BTT). Yeah, I think these two Altcoin have a good chance to buy it now.

I think I will advise you to join the BNB train and fill your bag as the price is still low to afford. Because I see that the coins were a great coin before and still be great in the future although the price now is not good to make a profit. But it will depend on how much we can buy those coins. If we can buy with huge money, then I am sure that we can make a big profit too. Those coins are still the best coins I personally belie it is best to invest in now and other like BNB, EOS and co, investing in new coins now is quite risky because one does not know how long it will last in the market, for now, based on the way the market is, I think already stabilized project should be invested in more.

I would agree with you to an extent.  The issue I have with only investing in coins with a proven "track record" is that most altcoins are only a few years old at most and thus haven't had enough time to establish themselves.  Bitcoin itself is only 10 years old, which is not that long compared to other assets like stocks, commodities, bonds, and metals.  However, when considering an investment in an altcoin I'd definitely look for one with a big "name", a strong community supporting it, and at least one feature that sets it apart from all the other junk on the market.

Not sure what all the hype is about BNB.  I use Binance and have accumulated some BNB, but I don't see anything special about it and don't plan on holding it for any length of time.

I respect your opinion, and I agree that bitcoin should be on the top  of the investment list. I wouldn't underestimate other top coins, that are around for years, ethereum, litecoin, monero, and some others. New and old investors should invest in these coins first and only  with the money left to pay attention on some undervalued coins under $10, like waves, eos and nano.

no, I don't think it should be. enough bitcoin and ethereum alone is enough to be the best investment plan. too many coins in your portfolio will only make you busier. You should pay attention to charts, news and all the speculation of each coin you own. and I think it's troublesome. so it's better enough to just 2 or 3 coins in your long-term portfolio.
