Post by: QueenVera on February 18, 2019, 10:01:15 PM
I notice we can complain issues relating to the forum on this board. I saw a message from Bitcoin Forum Guest that my post was deleted, it said
Quote from: Bitcoin Forum
A reply of yours, quoted below, was deleted by a Bitcoin Forum moderator. Posts are most frequently deleted because they are off-topic, though they can also be deleted for other reasons. In the future, please avoid posting things that need to be deleted.

Here was my post that was deleted
Quote
Do not believe every article you see online, most of them are paid article to me Initiative Q is totally a confused company and I don't think their project will survive in such a competitive market like cryptocurrency. They can't be the next bitcoin in fact we would not have another BTC

Here is the topic it was deleted from:
Will Initiative Q be the New Bitcoin? Link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5064438.0

Examing my reply, the post and other posters reply I do not think it was off topic but why moderator have to delete mine, is it because I was against the company?

Perhaps you shitposted in a 3-month old topic without reading anything that's been posted before?

"Others do it too" is not an excuse.

Your post wasn't profound enough such that you need to create a new thread about it getting deleted, that's for sure.  No idea why it got nuked, but this is going to happen from time to time on bitcointalk, and you're generally not going to get an explanation.

As far as it being "unfair", I would remind you that this is a private forum, and you aren't entitled to anything, nor am I or anyone else.  Posts can be deleted if a mod gets a report about them and agrees with it.  Sometimes mods might be wrong, but just suck it up and move on.

It's just a post having 2 sentences. Move on. It happens here time and time again that one's posts will at one time get deleted. So there is no need of creating a thread and whine over it.

I’m a Newbie too , I’ve had 4 deleted posts ! I’m still learning. Don’t get disheartened, I think there’s so many scams etc on here , everyone is weary. Its certainly not personal , I’m still learning and constantly checking back to the beginners section. One post I looked at referred to a link showing the posts that are deleted - 100s per day ! The moderators do work hard and it is difficult to work out what’s genuine . My advice is to be patient and as in life , we are always learning . Good luck

The Moderator deleted your post and not the company that you are pertaining to, even though you are against unto something it will not be deleted for as long as it has a little substance.

It got deleted, probably because discussion was already over, your comment didn't add anything new to the topic, it was spam, or moderator didn't like your content at all.

I just posted a comment may be 5 minutes ago and 1 minute ago I got message that it's been deleted. Lol.

See what's happening is there are a few members  taking a lot of time to go about reporting shitposts/spam and generic trash all over the Bitcoin Discussion board. Was your post the worst I've seen, no, but that's not a high bar for the board really.

Your post isn't the only one criticizing the platform by far. Can you tell me what your post added to the thread that isn't already there? I'm being generous as there are probably a lot of similar posts that had already been deleted. Looking at it probably a few more to come.

Just move on and work on only posting if you have something to add that hasn't already been discussed or you engage with a previous post in a meaningful discussion. Make not of how old a topic is as well before bumping it. We've all had posts deleted, it's really not a big deal.

Everyone has problems just like you, maybe there are more conducive posts that have been deleted, so just take the positives,
For the future, give a better post, so that it is not deleted,
Mod, and staff can also experience the same thing:
Example: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5111151.0

Thank you all for clearing me. This was my first experience with deleted post never knew it is a regular occurrence that why i wrote this. About the other issue, i am not a programmer, miner or some tech guru to making those post you see as quality, am still new.

I guess you misunderstood that user post getting deleted is a regular occurrence. Generally user do not make hue and cry on deleted post but for "rule" following user , the post are rarely deleted. ( For example, my 2 bumps we're deleted, even they were month apart, but I did not deleted my month old bump before bumping again.)
I see, you are not a native English speaker, some of your sentences do not convey intended meaning and there are spelling mistakes too so it is high chances that your post in English will be marked as low quality and might be deleted.
I will suggest you to reread your sentences before posting and you can join https://fittotalk.com to improve your English.
