I use to look at tokenmarket where they feature upcoming ICO, they add some extra description to give you an idea what the project is about. Its quite overwhelming to see so much projects that are coming you can't even begin to see which one is going to be supported by big names in the crypto world. Binance also have some of the news about the upcoming projects, that's where I knew about BTT.

From your list, twitter accounts of cryptocurrency influencers most especially experts is better, but most times, I feel if the project can have an announcement thread on this platform, it will also help.
You might also consider advertising on market cap sites, such as CMC, by running the advert on their board.

The whitepaper is the best document of any ICO to find out if this project is legit or not. You should only invest around 1 hour for a deep investigation of each whitepaper to save a lot of your money for the future.

I think TheCurrencyAnalytics and IcoBench are the two best sites to look for some good ICO projects. TheCurrencyAnalytics always makes articles about ICO projects that have promising prospects. And for ICOBench, of course you already know they are evaluating the ICO project from the product, vision, team, partner, and profile. So if the ICO project has a good rating on ICOBench it is definitely a good ICO project.

I actually search for the team members and look for their linkedin ids and stuff like that. With it, you can know for how long they have been in the blockchain industry and also what previous successful projects they have gone through.

use only your knowledge. you should not listen to some other people's opinions. Spend a week to study the project and then invest money.

You can just go in this forum in the ANNoucement section in the  Alternate currencies. I prefer to see them here because by posting their ANN thread means they are open to questioning which you may find out more about the project and the team members too. Some of the team these days are just staying on telegram channel which it could mean they control the information not the online page like the pages of bitcointalk.

Lol, be smart with ico investment because

1. Following any Twitter or google or any influencers will  most likely leave u in loss
2. Relying on ico sources to guide your investment option will leave is likely losses

Just discover a project for yourself, and believe me, even if the token dips mercilessly, you retain the courage to hodl further until next bull

You must not forget about fake promotions from the media you have mentioned. I mean there are plenty of possibilities to mislead you into a scammy projects if you blindly follow these things. Hence, it would be always better to have your own research and analysis so that you may stay secured and may find right projects to invest with.

Doing our own due diligence is not a big deal but many investors are always afraid of it still never trying it too. We must take time to give a try for our own researches then we may turn as a profitable investors on our own.

ICO rating sites are useful for me. Because investigating all projects are not possible, like the short way to learn about them. Then I start to investigate fully which ones I like. I also look telegram channels and Twitter. You should research as much as you can. In fact, the more you investigate, the more you find.

I don't follow any ICO now but before the best channel and place to look at is this forum, bitcointalk.org.

There's a variety of review, honest review from the people who have built their reputation for a long time here. We are all aware now that those reviews created on such websites can be paid base on how much they paid with.

Looking for honest reviews now is kinda hard to find but good thing if you are surfing all over the forum, you can find some decent ones.

First of all, I want to say that there are a lot of problems for fraud in the market of ico companies. If the investment fund were focused on genuine projects that would be in demand in society, the results would be much higher. And it is a pity that today there are no controlling opportunities for ico companies.

To be honest, dont using someone for reason you buy or investing to Cryptocurrency/ICO most of youtube crypto its a scam. They just want using your for their own profit. Example like James Trevon on 2017 Shiling Bitconect with his own Chanel.

Read carefully the whitepaper, analyze the project, the team, their LinkedIn profiles... and make your own decision.

At least they help to this industry with sharing their idea but i am agree with your opinion regarding shilling the useless token, icos. They get payment from both youtube and team for promoting their ICO. In competitive market it is  necessary to advertise your service, project but using tricky ways in order to trap small investors is shady activity. Market climate will decide about which coins will survive sooner or later.

Be careful, if you are checking ICO review sites for investing purpose. There are many traps for those who don't take project analyze seriously. Many of that sites are not trustworthy and biased review can change your perspective to project.

You can choose just a few ICO monitoring websites. Otherwise to look for all upcoming ICO's on all the sources - will consume a lot of time.
I am not 100% sure if it is a great idea to invest in the current market and spend the time to analyze all those new projects. I prefer old coins, which survived this severe crypto winter

Many channels that you can use to find out the ICO project. You can find information about ICO projects on the Bitcointalk forum, telegram channels, websites about ICO, and social media.
But, I only used several Telegram channels to find out about the ICO project. Yeah, I only chose to use the telegram channel, because I was active on the telegram. And I think, it really helped me to get information about the ICO Project.

Dont trust in any ICO rating sites.. like ICOBENCH; ICOMARKS; TRACKICO... most of them have paid reviews.. dont believe their ratings, they have been supported scams. Sometimes they dont care, and still promote scam despite being warned regarding it..
example:
Petchains: https://icomarks.com/ico/petchains  9.5 in ICOmarks
but a big scam: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5108208.0

Seeing how things played out last year with ICOs, you don't bank your decision making on the groups you mentioned, influencers especially. They all failed/misled many investors.
More safe: Read and diligently analyse the whitepaper, if it is realistic. Research the project team and check for any red flag. And then follow your instinct.

None of them I just follow this community's recommendations along with keep checking the announcement board more frequently. I do take lots of time before deciding my investment plans as it may cost some months of my hard work too if anything goes wrong.

To find ICO projects, I use Icobench, Icobird, Icoalerts website, Bitcointalk Announcement Boards and ICO Market android app. I use them to have all the information at a while, then I start researching about those projects. So, investing decision is yours, Don't invest by seeing positive, high experts ratings. Research yourself as much as you can and use those platforms to find an ICO project. Good Luck.

ICO sites are very many nowadays where the upcoming ICO list is very important to be able to follow in the footsteps of every good ICO, but you need to note that some of them are fraudulent or manipulated by making very good images for some coin scams, like many cases that occur this, I hope everyone thinks repeatedly before plunging further.

Why not to conduct a sentiment analysis? this means that you should have your colleague's participation in order to find some good ICO's out there, what I mean is that, ask them sometimes whether they find some ICOs out there because at this time, ICO rating sites doesn't tell the truth.

Most of the ICO ranking sites are not good because they receive some money and show the positive feedback. But reality we have some response our ICO participation so must analyse the softcap and hardcap of the project then read roadmap and security features of the projects is really important to find the good project. Own research is very important because if we do not do it alone we can get a loss. because at this time it is reported that even the ico website rating can accept bribes to make good ratings

I joined a telegram group about ICO things and it's really works so far. Most of the members are also the same country, we are sharing information about ICOs, which one is good which one is not, so i only invest to a good project by people on the group. I also visit the ANN project thread on bitcointalk.

Apart from me, i think not too many people directly access check or go to youtube videos, to access new projects. Most times, from what i have seen, a lot f investors use ICO listing sites, because that seems to be the most popular and easiest means. Although, which ever project that wants to use ICO listing sites, should list on reputable and trusted ICO listing sites.

Bitcointalk, Youtube and ICO rating websites can be the biggest sources to find an ICO because in here, you can talk with the dev and you will know almost everything about the project. I use bitcointalk only to search for the ICO and visit the website so that I can found many things about the project. But if I think I cannot find something good with the ICO, then I will skip and search the other ICO. So far, I was only watching the ICO journey without investing with them because from 2018 until now, I don't see a good ICO can reach success in the market. Besides that, with the bear market still happen, it makes me too afraid to get a scam, and I decide to watch closer for every ICO.

I believe that you should not trust the ICO rating on websites or social networks, you should not forget that most of them just advertise the project for money. It is best to learn how to define the criteria of a good project and use them when choosing ICO.

I use the project site and various resources on the Internet is Twitter YouTube and others to explore. For me, the most important thing is the ratio of the number of tokens and the price of them that it was proportional to the amount. The product is also important. All of those given platforms are paid advertisements and reviews.
You should seek on the whitepaper of the project, go research on their team members.
Make a study on the project offered of the team, is it worth to invest? are they legit? you dont need to depend on any of those.
You need to do it yourself!

You may not consider a single source to determine the right ICO you want to invest in. all the social media you have listed have their limitations in term of the type and numbers of informations you can find from them. Some, you can have similar information but the most inportant thing is that you use all of them to make the right decision. for me I literarily check youtube channels. facebook, twitter and ICO listing sites are the major place I do check for the right ICO to invest. Etherscan ads also is good to find ICO as well.

I never try to use a single source, because using a single resource is a very risky thing in this sector. Many bribes and various resources in many sources to achieve high scores can often fail and this failure is the most upsets the investor. Since I use the services I use in my own home, I don't want to give the individual names and make ads. Even though I will share their names, only Turkish-speaking members will benefit from these sources. I would like to complete my comment by stating that I use websites on a regular basis and that I also use Youtube channels from time to time.

First I would like to suggest stay way from ICO's now. Did you noticed how many ICO's success on last year ? I don't trust ICO rating website like ICOHolder and others. All social media could use fake reviews, so how can we depend on their reviews. Even on this forum most of ICO's use fake bumping and conversation to attract investor's. Really we can't trust now on third party reviews. Before invest you need to do your own research and you should know about risk of ICO investment. More then year I left ICO investment, that's why I like to suggest everyone just leave it for now. Don't lose your money.

It is true that you can make a mistake in choosing ICO, if you trust the choice only of your intuition. Before investing you need to check everything related to the projects in which you plan to invest. There are many channels that make reviews, but relying on them as a reliable source of information is dangerous. Although for information you need to see what the bloggers say about the project.

The only challenge I usually have with telegram group is that we have too many groups and every group has a purpose of promoting one particular project agreed on, unlike bitcoin thread that is a general forum, I think this forum should top the list of ICOs to invest in. The most reliable source is Bitcointalk, a legit project will post or create a thread here, this is to let the members comment on the legality and truthfulness of ICO, I don't trust ICO that do not open a thread here, there are a lot of scam ICO that do not have a thread here, so they will not get caught.

Check out ICO List by CoinCodex (https://coincodex.com/ico-calendar/), you can find there aggregated ratings from various sites.
I don't trust coincodex consider about there was a lot of scam icos. we are only using icodrop as the reliable ico tracker this time. Basically, most of them are getting paid to promote. That's why ico bencg gets negative trust caused by that. you can see that through open the trust summary of icobench

I'll check out from ICO ratings sites, I won't trust the ratings or expert comment, I just want to know which ICO is running or coming soon, after that I'll go to bitcointalk, youtube and google search the project to identify whether this project is worth investing.

Your search for the best ICO should start with researching what is being discussed on popular crypto forums, such as BitcoinTalk. Always research the development team behind any ICO in question. These are the people who are going to be receiving your investment. Never invest in an ICO when their development team lacks the experience to accomplish the tasks required. Start with the team’s social media accounts. Social Media research can reveal a lot about a project’s team. Another important factor to consider when finding the best ICO to invest in is the level of community support within the project. GitHub is a major launching ground for open-sourced projects, such as Bitcoin. It is important that you communicate with the project’s development team. This will help you to determine the level of venture capital (VC) funding the project has already attained. Right now, alot of good ICOs are emerging and the most popular ones that I personally recommend you to invest in are, IBC group and Bitrus Exchange.

I look first in the bounty thread since I only invest in a coin that has a bounty campaign, then I checked if the ICO has a scam report in scam section, then fully check if there are a complaint or anything wrong in their profile and roadmap, this is the hardest time to invest in ICO right now.

Personally, I do not invest. I stopped that long ago but it's wise, whichever source used, to still check out the web and whitepapers of the project and make other researches too.

The question as a whole is understandable and I think that many people already understand that most of the information is of course on social networks Twitter and youtube, but of course a lot of information is also on bitcointalk, because there are so many useful things that you can find here.

You can trust only your own investigation, because almost all the sources that you have listed can be paid directly or via bounty programmes. Investigate the project on your own and you will be able to detect any scam ICO.

I try to use as many different resources as possible. The main thing is of course the bitcointalk forum,I try to study their project with the help of white paper,I watch their Twitter and facebook,I study who is in their team,I try to find as much information about them on the Internet as possible.ICO-ratings I do not trust, several times burned on their forecasts.Well, based on my intuition.

Scam reports doesnt come on the first place thats why its really risky if you do able to consider this stuff when investing. Complaints do only
comes after if there are several issues with the team but these things do only uncover in the end which means either you already invested or not.
Always check out teams transparency.

It seems that such a need will soon disappear and all you will need to do is to be subscribed to the official channels of the exchanges to be aware of the upcoming IEO. ICO will soon disappear, more and more projects turn out to be a Scam, while IEO even during the bear market bring investors income.

For unbiased coin and ICO reviews I use Decentraland, it's a virtual reality (VR) platform powered by the Ethereum blockchain, wherein users can create, experience, and monetize content and applications in a 3D interactive world. In Decentraland, you can purchase land via the Ethereum blockchain and have full ownership rights and control of what content is published to your land, ranging from static 3D scenes to interactive systems such as games and activities. Another is Byteball cause it makes it possible and easy to bind payment to a condition, enabling individualized smart payment contracts. In relevance to ICO reviews and legitimacy here are few of my researched ICOs that are good to invest in, ICOBOX, and Bitrus as an ongoing ICO.

many have given advice to you and this can be made into material and then you do your own research, take time before investing in ico. I personally did this in several sources, including in this forum, Social Media, the ranking website of ICO. the rest we research again if we think it's good.

right, most of them see the development of investment in ico, the starting point that must be achieved is softcap. by achieving softcap, at least the project can already be run

True , i better study project myself . The most points i look for currently is if they have reached softcap , team backround , expierience . Do some google search and WHOIS on domain names , whos the owner of it and so on . Ofcourse if everything looks fine , they still can SCAM people . There is no guarantee that it will work everytime , but most of the time it works for me =]

The biggest question is why investors left cryptocurrency? on my opinion is thet left because of cryptocurrency market collapse and no profit to earn from this, and now cryptocurrency market is going strong and I'm thinking investors will go back to invest and make money.I saw icos now is getting great so it is a sign of comeback of investors, and it helps the market to rise.

I don't look for it anywhere except in this forum because I prefer to judge ICO based on my personal judgment by looking at various aspects such as concepts, teams, partners, total supply of tokens and how many communities from that ICO
I think that is enough to be a reference for us to choose a good ICO

Even if I liked the project and earned my trust. I buy tokens after distribution to FD 10 or 100 times cheaper than the ICO  ::)

The whitepaper is the best document of any ICO to find out if this project is legit or not. You should only invest around 1 hour for a deep investigation of each whitepaper to save a lot of your money for the future.
Vanya I think you can make money even if the projects whitepaper is frankly copied from another project. But you never sure will you get your bonus back or not!

I use icobench because they have a nice arrangement and filter of icos to invest in. I also use tokenmarket to skim for icos. I seldom use youtube because it's full of marketers and bounty hunters. When I gather a group of interesting projects, I then move ahead to check their team. A project without a good team is immediately ruled out. I sometimes even personally call the project teams to get more insights about their project, but one thing is clear... I never invest in a project that I don't understand and I myself cannot use.

Yes, there are lots of them these days and there are as many scammers as well. But there are sites that I have been using since I got into this community and started investing in ICO… there are good sites such as https://www.smithandcrown.com, and we also have this coinschedule.com and tokenmarket.com. It doesnt just end with them. There are still many of them around today.

There are lots of sources where you can find ICOs that you can invest in, but some of them are not really reliable as they don't give proper information and can be misleading at times. I make use ICOAlert, on their site there are list of ICO that you can buy and it is one of the top sites that you will always see a lot of people mention. A lot of people makes use of their site.

by visiting popular webs, we can better understand the ins and outs of the project and we will find projects that are suitable for us.
