Title: fiat withdrawals from bitmarket.pl/bitmarket.net
Post by: phnord on February 22, 2019, 04:34:15 PM
Hello!

Fiat withdrawals in EUR currency using SEPA from the bitmarket.pl/bitmarket.net exchange have always been processed intra-day so far.

However, this week I ordered a withdrawal, and nothing happened even after waiting 48 hours.

Anyone here having the same issue, or knowing what's going on?

I've checked their social media and nothing has been reported. I suggest contacting their support.

You can start by posting in their ann thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1369937.0), maybe you'll get a faster response even though OP was last online 12 days ago.

You can ask in Polish section in English
Maybe guys in Poland know more
But never use Polish exchanges if exchange is registered in Poland
All Polish exchanges are facing problems created by Polish regulators so most of them moved to different countries

The issue was resolved after a week or so, with subsequent withdrawals working fine again.

Do you have any details/resources on the regulation-related problems you mentioned?

Maybe he's talking about how unfriendly bank & government to crypto in general, as one of the most famous exchanges in Poland was reported to move to Malta to continue their operation as mentioned in this article: https://comparic.com/biggest-polish-crypto-exchange-escape-malta-amidst-regulatory-crackdown/.

Seems as if moving outside of the Polish jurisdiction doesn't necessarily make things better: https://www.coindesk.com/polish-crypto-exchange-bitmarket-suddenly-shuts-down

I hope you solved your problem finally, but next time if I were you I would use something more trusted with more reviews and long history on market like Indacoin.
