In recent days the market situation has always been green and almost all altcoins have increased. Is this a sign of bull run?

Not sure about that, recently a fast drop down made on the current price of eth which swing to fascinating lowest record eth adn btc crash down but the previous bull run is up and down then suddenly surge up. I can see the same way happened now but don't let your guard down and be ready for swing trade again. Sure to sell off if the support say so.

All altcoins in green becuase BTC is raised. This is always the case, due the fact that all alt is exchanged for BTC most.


However, this is the second wave of greens in one week, so if there will be one more, i would say we have a bull.

Not really sure. But I think it's too early to say this is a sign of a bull run. Even though for the past 3-4 months, based on the bitcoin chart in CMC, the movement is quite stable until these several days which shows an increase followed by altcoins. Let's see for another week.

a slight increase on the price does not mean the bull run will be on their way, as you can remember it happens already couple of times it reaches 4000$ then after few days the price are coming back to 3500$ mark again.

I wouldn't say that this is a bull run, not yet. We need more trading volumes, and so far volumes are still thin in my opinion. Let's see if the price hit $5k and $200 respectively, and look at volumes, if bitcoin goes on like 15++ m and Ethereum closes around $10 m volume then it might be a sign that a imminent bull run is already on the horizon.

Yes it's true that it's almost 2x happened. Hopefully this increase isn't like yesterday again, and maybe this might be for the future.

If you look at sentiment on Bitmex or Bitfinex, we have now much more longs that shorts. It indicates that people are expecting a bull run. Now this alone is not enough for a bull run, but I hope some good news will come soon to propel the price about $4500-$5000. For Ethereum it's still far to reach a volume of $ 10 million, now $ 4 million more.
But there is something special, throughout 2019 this is the tallest Ethereum price.
$ 160 in January 2019, and now $ 164 in February 2019.

Almost the price of bitcoin increase $1000 from its yearly low,it might be considered as a well growth in very less time and it is not happened at any sudden so yes the chance of bull run is high but nothing can be predictable in this uncertain crypto market.

Hopefully the new bull trend will continue with more and more higher highs but to confirm the bull trend i think btc has to break 4500 and then 5000 levels and similarly eth has to break 200 and then 300 to be called as a new bull run.

Maybe it's possible but nobody will tell you exactly. It could be a deception that people began to gain momentum in the long run and when many people buy it we can go back down again. Perhaps the second option is that it really started to grow but at a slow pace and now big players are waiting when people start closing their positions and then will be more growth.

Sign is maybe not true or maybe yes it is the real sign because last year even me I believe when the price of the bitcoin and ethereum rise I belive on the bull run will happen but not happen last year. I think your guess is not necessary at this time. Although the price of BTC has risen in someday, it can't conclude that it is a sign of a bull run. Perhaps bull run or bull trap? At now the price of BTC has gone down below $4,000, and ETH goes down to $143, and I think that the bull trap happened, not bull run

Alot of positive news at recent has driven the prices of top base coins to the moon especially the bitcoin and ethereum but I believe that we are yet to see the bull run as this might just be the tip of an iceberg

I am almost certain of this present situation of the market to be the commencement of bull run for 2019. This has been much awaited for a long time and it is finally here.

For the past few days the market is having a good recovery and it was a sign for a good run. However, just today a massive flash crash happened and the whales just dumped on us. They just took advantage of the open orders and liquidate some of their assets and that's why the market have a sudden crash. So much manipulation in the market and its so disappointing.

We will keep waiting and watching, it is certain that we the bull run will commence, but the question of when has not been answered by anyone, The best decision now is to take advantage and invest, in order not to miss out of the bull run. With fear you loss out.

I was very much aware of this. As a matter of fact i was still watching the trend when it was over $4000 and within few seconds, it dropped below $4000. I was not surprised though, because i know there will still be another uptrend.
So many other coins were affected as well, which is also expected.

The increase is uncertain because the market is still very volatile but there is still a lot of hope that we will feel it soon. The prices of BTC and ETH are slowly increasing but do not last long, on the other hand many new developments are starting to run and hopefully this will accelerate the increase.

actually it is still difficult to say this is a bullrun sign or just a temporary increase to make a trap so the whales will invest in crypto again, some time ago the market suddenly experienced a price correction which was quite surprising but I thought it was reasonable and if possible later it returned green and the price continues to rise, maybe indeed this is a bullrun sign that has begun.

I don’t want to think that this is a bull trap, i think this is just a correction. Well, as expected there is no easy way to up again but for sure it will still grow high. The market price is still good, it will go beyond the resistance level again. We will see another pump after the hardfork on ETH.

Nothing to think as a trap, its all about market fluctuations and we can't any just to accept the reality. The pumps never to consider as a trap nor to be in bull run, we experience this many times before and so we can't disclose the way it it is all about market inflation.

Many start-ups have used blockchain in the past few months, but this has not had a maximum effect on everyone. It was a big correction because Bitcoin value did increase without falling for so many days. But there is still a chance that the bull run is not dead. It could be a trap if it falls more. I hope the hype is still not dead.

We thought for awhile it has already started since BTC has crossed $4K and tried to break the resistance, but the bear is still strong so we're back to were we started again. Another try will follow and at least for just short period of time we were able to witness how the community would react on the price increase, I'm definitely sure there are a lot of buyers compared to the dumpers as whales are just small in number but sadly they have the biggest holdings.

  you should wait mate before saying anything.  Because  in fact it's just starting and it takes time again before gradually increasing more back to the top which like what always happened after bearish season.  So be patient. Since this thread was started, we've obviously dropped down again in prices. It is noticeable that the drop is bigger than the rise that preceded it - suggesting the bear market is still in progress. But a good sign is that we are still above the December lows.

It should note that volumes increase. So if BTC can hold current price level the bull scenarion can be realized to the first goal of 5000$

Lol. Imagine my surprise yesterday when last i checked, btc was happily trading above 4k and then just a few hours later, it's down to 3.7k with the market in general glowing red. I guess that tells people that bull runs aren't easily initiated. We can't even sustain getting above 4k for now. Back to reality guys.

This also indicate that the market are manipulating by bigwhales some people thought it's the starting of another bull run for bitcoin but in just an hours the price full back again to 3k$ range meaning this is a bull trap and sorry for those people who think its bull run.

When? I think the better question is HOW? what would trigger a bull market. Yes, it touch more than $4k few days ago but just in 30mins it went down. The problem with most people nowadays is that they are hoping for bull market when you can hsve alternative to gain during these days. Basically doing trading is the best option.

But not everyone is born to be a trader, and majority just wanted to buy and HODL and don't do anything and wait for 2-3 years to realised their profits. If you have been here in 2017 I think you should now but trigger a bull run, news, a very positive news that people ride. Just like the CBoE and CME bitcoin future offerings in Dec 2017. But before that, Japan entering the crypto sphere followed by Australia. So right now, we need that kind of news, maybe a Bitcoin ETF approval or the Bakkt future offerings as well.

Everyone cannot succeed with trading. This is complicated, because you cannot find the exact peak and sell to buy at the exact drop point. With the recent price fluctuation it is clear that the market changed in no time, the same would be tackled by the pro traders in a much better way eliminating or decreasing the loss. The same with a beginner could end up one's trading interest.

All of us as a believers we do hope bull will show up and start moving forward, the problem is we can't sustained the run as there's large investors

The price of bitcoin and altcoin does not decrease dramatically when it rises, but falls slowly and a few moments later prices will rise slowly again. In my opinion, the trend change in February this year was too sharp and too strong to be a sign of stabilization. Of course, I would like it to be the beginning of a bull run, but I think that is a simple correction and further price drops in the coming weeks are more likely.

This is only a sign that e-money is having many good changes, it is not a bull run. We see that there is a lot of good news from ETH, Waves, Litecoin, Binance, ... all of which made the market capitalization grow.
They are trying to change the situation and so do investors. but I predict there will not be any bull run in 2019. it will be so stable for a long time.

That’s a failed attempt with bitcoin and eth but at least we still pump even at a small period of time. I still believe it can go higher in time but for now let’s learn from this trap and don’t ever buy if there is no strong news that drives the pump because it can be a manipulation for sure.

the current market is indeed more attractive than the market at the end of 2018 and the beginning of 2019. now the market looks more active, even though prices are not so good, but we can see the market moving quite positively. this is exactly what we expect, no need for high bulls.

No sign, it's a keen that it's a trap that we should let it pass. Bitcoin got a new support to $3,800 after few months of swinging, this is way better than to see it at $3,300 level. Constantinople will occur few days from now and that can potentially give some good signs if we really are in the bull run or we're not yet. Just expect that this year is going to be the same as 2018 so if you are  expecting profits for this year, expect it again for 2019 instead of hoping that bulls will come earlier.

Still not enough of a sign if it goes more than $4500 but if the news on the bitcoin channels suddenly are full of news about altcoins begin greener, it would be it but it the news on bitcoin news site are just what JPmorgan coin is about, you're not going to see the bull raging higher highs after higher highs.

The cryptocurrency market has been seen to be in a dip for some time now. Bitcoin before now, went below $4000 while ethereum went below $100. Now that it seems to have touched $4187 and $164 for Bitcoin and Ethereum respectively, is actually not a sign of a bull run because the market is still going back and forth. I believe until bitcoin exceeds $5000 and ethereum exceeds $200, only then could there be a bull run.

For signs of a bull run that already exists from this month, it is likely that this year the bull run will definitely occur even though from now the market is still slow to move quickly.

We all saw that, the price slowly increase up but there was a sudden dump.
Good thing now because the price started to recover again, it doesn't matter how many times we will  be dump as long as the price will recover.
These are just signs and we can use this for our favor, we can invest now and just wait until the bull run will finally come.

Judging from the trading fundamental
We can see that the volume spikes alot after ETH went below $150
Volume actually decreasing after certain spikes but it grows up these few days
If the volume persist and is there, despite if it is not growing
We would know that more people are in and accumulating now

hopefully with the increase in btc and eth some time ago although it slowly became a bull run signal, but now it is experiencing a decline and a dump. maybe we can put hope in hardfork eth and this is hopefully a good moment.

Despite this thread mention a few days ago I think it's valid already to speculate what will happen in a few hours with HardFork in ETH because apparently the world of cryptocurrencies will be watching this event. What will happen if it's a great success and acceptance of the most important people with respect to ETH? To date, many are bemoaning this update.

It did start to look promising, then we had that big pullback. No-one really knows at the moment, but I would say it's encouraging that at least the latest mini pullback almost immediately corrected back upwards. I think we are starting to see some solid support, and I would hope this translates to more of an overall bullish sentiment.

I don't think this is a rising sign and it's like a trap. But we also have to be able to play quickly because short-term trading will yield more results. That is the lessons we've learn in 2017. However, we be able to see bull run in 2019, there should be a catalyst, like a bitcoin ETF approval, but we don't have that as SEC will kept on delaying this news and we all know that it will be rejected.

Everything was just temporary and it is called a bull trap because whales know when they should start the bullish market. That quick pump of the market was just for a show or it is for trapping the newbies who do dive frequently when they've seen some small pump of the market.

I agree that it was a bull trap, or as someone else would prefer - a correction. However, I think that the price after this correction has not fallen below the previous level, so we can understand as the first signs of stabilization. Which may mean that there is coming a change in trend that will be a straight way to the new bull run.

If that's their real intentions, it gonna be hard to recover from dips. It probably no new investors will tried to be investing crypto if they'll only know that everything around is that a trap for them. Here we go again! The expectations for the market to get better. But the sad truth is we will never get to that point again because whenever the price increases, someone immediately sells their asset. Only whales can move prices of top coins and tokens whenever they want. If we want another bull run just like what happened on December 2017, then we must all unite and come to an agreement not to sell your coins or tokens until we hit new high prices.

I perceive the bull run of the cryptocurrency market, at least as a price increase, from the already maximally existing level. IMO, I have two ways to identify a bull run:

1. Correlation between BTC & Alts - Generally on slow days, Bitcoin and alt-coins go hand in hand. But, at that one moment when the bull run is imminent, Bitcoin relieves itself from other alt-coins and gears up for it’s own run. That’s when the correlation between BTC and alt-coins reverses resulting a growth in Bitcoin dominance in the entire cryptocurrency market. So, when this correlation starts diluting, it’s one of the signs for Bitcoin bull run or the entire cryptocurrency market.

2. Keep an eye on Medium Statistics - This is an interesting factor for all those writers on medium. If you are a prominent writer on topics like cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, alt-coins and related stuff, your medium stats will be pretty flat since the beginning of 2018 — i.e. during the bear market. But, when there is a bull run upcoming, you see the stats start growing. Since most of the traffic on medium is via google, this could mean that more retail users are looking for knowledge around cryptocurrency and Bitcoin, who are going to buy Bitcoin and increase the demand — thus resulting in spike in prices. So, if your medium stats shoot up — it’s one of the signs for a bull run for Bitcoin or cryptocurrency market.

This sideways market has been frustrating for the bulls. Just when you think it is going up, there is another correction. It is going to take lot of patient hodling until the big bull rise happens.

We've been in a bull market for several months now. Look at the volumes as well - they've never been this high. It is all very encouraging. I dare to state if that something insane could happen in only 24 hours. Anything could possible in crypto arena, though. No one knows where is the market going next, however a wonderful news and and price can double in a short sequence of time or some of the big bagholders manipulating the market.

It is not a completely clear indication of the bull run but the market has already recovered which seems to be there is upwards trend. As you can see most of the familiar coins have already increased their prices in the market which it is going to be a very good sign to grab as many potential coins as possible in the market.

I'm not looking frim technical side but fundamental. Believe me mass adoption will start from this year, and the impact from bitcoin halving on 2020 wiil be a strong bull run sign.

In my opinion, I don't think we are in a bull run unless people are only thinking about bitcoin. It seems many people have associated bull run with a rise in the value of bitcoin. Many of the altcoins are still struggling to make an impact on the crypto market. It is bitcoin, ethereum, BNB and a few others that are doing well.

Expected after the last year that's full of slow motion now we are earning the market's sentiment of bull run. Prediction of bullrun is always their everytime the top coin is successively increase but their are many alts have not able to pump just like in the top coin list. I think the bull run is happening for bitcoin, I’m not so sure of the sign of bull run for the alts. I think it may take a longer time for altcoins to initiate the bull run. Maybe after bitcoin hit it best price and more stable.

In February 2019 we could see that the price of Bitcoin and Ethereum at the time was still very low. But prices have begun to rise in price increases. And the culmination of the price increase is happening now. A Bull run happened but Bitcoin and Ethereum still have the potential to pump even higher.

No question that would happen, this year we already achieve a good increase, this ins't small increase since bitcoin has rise more than 200% already from its low this year, ETH as well doing great job to be able to hold while bitcoin is influencing its price.
The big run that would possibly bring more significant increase has not come yet, that will come very soon for sure.

Wasn't it almost down to 3,500 or so? From there it is more like a 350% increase and that is very positive. No investor in the world could complain about making 350% on an investment within half a year.
