It's always extremely amusing to see scammers use stock images. It's like, dude. At least put in the bare minimum effort to scam someone... they really just got lazy. Thanks for calling it out; I'm sure you've probably saved some poor schmuck a couple thousand.

Why not? Seems your accusation is valid and there is enough evidence as well. Its confirmed that they use fake picture from stock image or from others website. Not is it? I have tagged and let them come on thread to see their excuses. Fake team =/= fraud, so there is no reason to trust them.

They have taken all the photo from http://www.ppcp.org.uk/aboutus (http://www.ppcp.org.uk/aboutus), because you will find here both members photo and client photo as well.

Are you serious? Please, first you make accusation, you can see in our offcial discord seerver than our site is in development, so as you see in text of site are not finish and photos are the provided for the templete used.
Many people know us for other projects (Check discord) so this accusation is not good.

If we need talk with Bitcointalk Team for delete your accusations, we make without problems.

Well, OP's post is not a scam accusation. That's written right at the top.

We can give you the benefit of doubt and assume that this was truly an innocent mistake. You have to understand that when people go to your page and see "team members", a name and a face, they will assume that those are your team members. That's how it works. Generally, people don't create a team members section on their site until its ready. You should have made it clear that the page is under construction or that the images are placeholders. It really can come off as scammy, you know. Not saying you're a scam... it's just unprofessional and a little fishy. Thanks for clearing it up here, and I hope you clear it up on your main website as well.

when you post an ANN topic, the first thing you do to build trust is to introduce legit profiles and post a well thought of introduction of your project. you can't say something like "secret" in your project intro. was interested at first, but just by reading your announcement, you can clearly make out the theme "shady" in it. sorry but even if you straighten out your team's identities with whosoever authority to prove that you're legit, you just lost trust already and word about this spreads faster than litenode....

It's an accusation that your team is fake, sure. It's not a scam accusation. Those are two different things. I mean, any rational person would see this thread and infer that your team is fake... it's only your reply to it that clears things up.

If the website is under construction - put it under construction - means: No public have access.
Once you updated your website with your images of your real team let us know.
If anyone gives you a red trust, ask them to consider.

Strange you have post your ANN thread paste a month and still your website under construction?

Scam accusation was made on March 11, 2019, 11:27:28 PM and you update your thread on March 11, 2019, 12:27:59 PM.  Just noticed you made update before 11 hours of accusation and that's why I have removed my feedback's. You shouldn't create thread before complete your website.


Thanks for point out. I did mistake time calculations  ;D. However damage someone's reputation isn't our aim. So I removed feedback's since they had updated before you made post.

After posting the accusation of a fake team, we saw that there is a disclaimer on their thread about being under construction - which was at 12:27:59(noon).
We don't want to accuse a project of a scam or give a red trust, except if they are really a scam/scammer.
We noticed the FAKE TEAM - which were obvious but (1 hour later) we realized they website has " Lorem Ipsum" all over the place - which can be a sign of undeveloped/incomplete. And we edited and posted that message on top of the tread (*** THIS IS NOT A SCAM ACCUSATION YET***). And we left this thread open for their explanation.
Today those stock images are gone, but there are other images that doesn't look like a stock image, and people can easily mistake them by real developers. (or are they their developers?)
Usually " under construction" stay under construction and not public to viewers.

Either the page should be taken down entirely, or the pictures/names should be removed. This is blatant unprofessionalism and the behaviour highlighted in OP's post hasn't been corrected.
