This episode is meant to simply educate people about the past history of Bitcoin. Next weeks episode "The crypto stork" will be launched, in which it will actually be an episode with characters and not simply set in an informational fashion.



Let me know what you think. No joke, it took me around 20-25 hours to create. [Writing, designing, voicing, and editing]I know it might not be visually amazing since it was made on paint, however, I think it does a good job at displaying information.

Good work, you need more work to improve image quality and sound but a good start.
I do not want to go into the details but you gave general points. Maybe explain more about how Bitcoin works, wallets, Bitcointalk's history, and other things will add more to your channel.

I remember that @xtraelv (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=897509) documented the history of the hacks of this forum so he may help you in the historical narrative.

Good work Tim, and yes I know it takes a long time to build these things but imagine how many people on this forum dedicate hours of their lives to do something good for everyone's enjoyment, right? Now you are part of that thing.

Don't worry about paint, but I think eventually even if you can do physical art and make it as slides, it works better end of the day. I hope we get to see more from you.

I have made bigger content for other YouTube channels, so maybe one of them will get a designer to actually bring an episode to life. Most of the time I spent on designing it and editing it. I have some good 10+ minute episodes written out that have a plot/story which I hope to release soon :)

Yeah, I watch the whole video, but in the beginning I was looking about how it all started and never hear about Satoshi. Anyways, it was a cool video specially injecting some jokes in the middle, lol.

Is that your real voice though? Don't get me wrong, but it sounds robotic to me,  ;D

I did not like the statement about looking back at price fluctuations. It would have been better to say let's look back at the progress and product development. Overall it's a good video, considering it was not a professional work. Good graphics and narrative.

Why not? Price is what has brought in most people into Bitcoin. Satoshi and the original cypherpunks are really the only people to be able to say they are in cryptocurrency purely for the technology.

The technology does matter, but this video wasn't about that, it was Bitcoins History. Not blockchain technology.

You did a great job here, no one will tell our history if we don't do. We just need to be the ones that continue to tell the history and story of Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies to the world that is still doubting the concept of decentralized currency

Nice idea to have this introduction of the bitcoin industry in cartoon video although your drawing is not that good to be honest. Probably you need to ask your friends (who have drawing skills) to draw the cartoon for you so it will be more attractive for people to watch the video.

I was really expecting about Nakamoto in the beginning, but seems it's the other way around.


Yeah, maybe it's his mic though. Also, maybe he can use some good background music to be more catchy and instead of using his voice why not use a slideshow that shows some facts about bitcoin.

And honestly, it's lack of colors, it's dull. Hope you'll take this as healthy criticism. ;)

I've watched the video. I appreciate the effort you made on this. Newbie will be glad if they will spend time to watch your video. Indeed a great overview of how bitcoin started. Also, it has a simple graphics and a simple animation. Though, I was entertained by your simple cartoon creation, the text was obviously made by handwritten. Lol. Try to make your video more colorful for attraction, I noticed it was more on black and white that makes the whole video dull. But overall, two thumbs up for you, dude.

Hahaha I find your animation very cute. Its very simple, not perfect (really obvious though), but you can really see the effort that was exerted just to complete the video. The lines, letters are very sloppy but what matter is that, as long as you can understand what it wants to tell, then it's okay.
I bet you're good at drawing, I can see it in the video. You're just having a hard time since you're using paint. It's really hard though. But overall, nice video. The information, the simplicity, and the effort. Try practicing for more to make it more enjoyable to watch.

It's a very good video and you were very creative in the video. if in the next videos you improve the drawings and the story, then your next videos may be even better than this one. About the end of the video where you talk about the price, I think you should talk about such subject with more caution

First of appreciating your hard work along with great blessings. But it can be more productive and attractive according to a commercial perspective view.

It's a great introductory video, done with least tools for newbies to understand basics about Bitcoin in simple, audiovisual and illustrative form.

I would like to suggest go for a series of videos to educate the mass audience by helping to understand Bitcoin in an easy way.

Bitcoin is the future of a global economy and many other related industries. The technology behind Bitcoin is an innovative invention which has bring more transparency and speed to the current business environment.

At the end of video the kid was crying to grandpa because he look disappointed bitcoin not continue to the moon and 2018 stil hasn't made the chapter which probably on that year for some people can be called as boring year for cryptocurrency however overall i do liked the video although only explain through simple animations

This is good, am glad the cryptocurrency community has so many people who are determined to make the world get to know about Bitcoin and blockchain. Thanks for the cartoon, it was great watching it.

Good job for the video created with their own hands for 1 day. For such a long video 20-24 hours is too little, I think here it was necessary to work at least a week. Walt Disney is resting with his thrillers!

I must commend you for your effort in promoting bitcoin in your own little way, trying to spread the news to people and educate them on bitcoin using cartoons. This is great and you did a good job. Nice one, keep it up.

Yeah I certainly will do that, the whole point was just to get the video out there. However, I am looking into different designers and different voices to for other videos.


I think it looks better if the text is handwritten, if it is just plain written text then it sort of takes away from the whole paint animation. However, when a new designer comes in and takes over, it will look better. I think I have a good vision for it, and good ideas for actual episodes. But I agree the design could use some work. I am in the process of creating more videos that have substance. I am looking to create full episodes of 10 minutes + and have some written. However, I am waiting for better graphics in order to post it. The current video took me many hours to complete and so I am going to be a little slow at fixing the graphics but for the next video, you will see an increase. I appreciate your input and it really helps.



In the end, the kid was crying and that was the 2018 year since ICO's took a huge hit. Innovation in Blockchain has really taken off in 2018, but the video was based around Bitcoin. So price action and price points are the main focus since other than price, nothing huge happened for bitcoin. In upcoming videos when I jump into real episodes, there will be more in-depth conversations for people who are serious about Bitcoin and Blockchain. This was just a starter video.

I would love to devote more time to it, and the writing takes up a large portion of it. If I spent a week of 8 hours a day on the writing, I would have half an hour episodes. However, I have to work and so it is not realistic yet.

Good informative video. I really appreciate the effort you put into making this video. Story line is good but try to improve on the quality. Especially the images, as someone suggested, if you are good at hand drawings it would be better than current pics. Some good background music would be great. Above mentioned are only my personal suggestions. Overall, i liked your video.

Nice job I hope we see more episode come next week as you promised, I so wish there will be a movie very soon that will translate the journey of bitcoin and more scientific proves. Bitcoin is gaining global adoption and at that more users should be educate on it history and the miles bitcoin have covered.

Its nice of you putting up a cartoon that shows the history of bitcoin. This will surely educate people on the history, usefulness and benefits of bitcoin usage. You did a good job though one or two little adjustment will be made. With time you will improve on it.

The audio and visuals will get a lot better, I have been working hard at remodeling my next video.

Not the best cartoon i have seen but it's definitely a good beginning and I hope you will continue doing this and improve your videos. The information and voice is alright but you should work a little more on design since many people would think you have created this in a few dozen minute when it fact it takes you a couple hours to do it.

Nice work, it would be more better if you started it from the very start of bitcoin because you can show people there that bitcoin starts from the value of $0.

absolutely, This video was quite simple because childrens are little excited in this video but this feeding was not good in future generation. So some changes are required in this cartoon and If you include the future blockchain technology in this video all are happy to hear this cartoon.

I have one commitment where only care about how much profit getting from bitcoin and altcoin without care about what history from bitcoin its self, many time I check people always talking about history of bitcoin and I think is not useful.

You might need to improve the image quality. Search on google on free animation website and you can animate in there for better image and I'm sure more people will like that. But this work is good, you have good knowledge about bitcoin, the voice is clear but the image isn't that good. Maybe, try to create a video on how bitcoin wallet works. Then, exchanges in cryptocurrency.


Try animating on an animating site. Some sites are free. And probably that might took you only 5 hours maximum animating. Goodluck.

Bitcoin's history not useful? I think it's people like you who aren't useful to this space. I'm glad that the bear market knocked some sense into people's heads, because they were clearly in need of it after 2017s mania.

If you weren't so obsessed with gains, you would have noticed how similar the cycles are this market is going through. Paying attention to this would have prevented you from burning yourself holding expensive bags.

I agree the history of Bitcoin is important. It is also a good story and fun to reminisce on old times. Whenever I think about its history and see how far we have come, it makes me happy.

I think this is a good idea. People nowaday is very playing safe. All the information including where it came from or the history of the product or the bitcoin. Like in hiring an employee you should all about the applicant before you hire likewise in bitcoin industry you need to know also the history before you invest. So this is a great activity.

What a cliffhanger right their. Literally, because we already knew happened after that "so close" moment.  :D
It doesn't need to be visually stunning since it's not an action anime or whatever.
So thumbs up mate! Keep on adding videos that will make Bitcoin look a lot of fun.  :)

I agree, it is not obligatory to be a sto project, the main thing to have a sense of respect for users. I would prefer tokenization in key industries. For example, in education. So that students can earn not just points, but full-fledged coins and use them in the campuses  to pay for food and services. Yes, I'm ready to go and study again for that. taklimakan platform is not bad for that.
