Title: Will bitcoin remain above $4000 this time around?
Post by: arpon11 on March 16, 2019, 09:35:00 AM
Since December last year that bitcoin fall below $4000 it has make several move of crossing above $4000 and it always get dumped after few days. I think a strong resistance has been created a little above $4000  and that is why we have not see a good recovery after this bear market.  As at this moment bitcoin is trading around $4,052 across most of the popular exchange and my question is will bitcoin get below $4000 again or it is on the part to break the resistance level that has been pushing it backward?

The price has seen a gradual rise from the stability of $ 3600 and then settled at $ 3900 for the past two weeks.

Over the past week, we have seen a decline of around $ 3800 so we are likely to go back to $ 3900 if the price does not rise above $ 4100.

In the past, the price has been rising repeatedly once the stability range has broken, so a surprise may occur at this point and the price will rise or "keep" at $ 4000.

Everything is possible with this volatile market. We recently passed and broke $4,000 and we're not far away from the bottom. What's with today is very positive and still we can't predict what's going to happen next.

As much as possible, we want to see bitcoin remain above $4,000 and break another high level. The question that circles on my mind, are we going to see the reversal soon?

People shouldn't pay attention to round price levels when we haven't even broken through major resistance levels yet. It could very well drop back to $3700 or lower in case of a rejection, and this is more likely than a firm $4000 mark.

The thing here is that people have continuously been disappointed by what the market did in the last 15 months. I rather expect more of the same until we have a clear bottoming confirmation, which we don't have right now.

This of course doesn't mean that the bottom can't be in already, but the trend is what we should focus on, and the trend is super bearish despite the greenish last couple of weeks. Accumulation is what I mainly focus on.

That is my thinking too it is seems when it get close to $4100 or a little above it always get pushed down.  I believe that if bitcoin can cross $4250 support area there is a great probability that the long term bearish trend is over!  We should expect the normal rising from now and we should expect to make some big profits from the market if we can keep holding as bitcoin may likely create another high.  The repeated rising and pull back in price for the past three months is also a sign that the bear market is over though the bull is to weak to take the leading.

We can't really tell at this point. Actually I was surprised to see the price goes to $4k without any significant news. It also shows that something from behind might be doing an old dogs trick, trying to manipulate again and set traps for newbies to jump in and they will suddenly dump again.

So just be cautious this rally doesn't look natural to me, just saying.

I think it is still possible to see the market test $4k or $4.2k resistance a couple of more times before we actually see a breakout happen and the shoot up to above $6k occurs. although there has also been a rather big increase in trading volume recently I still think there are short term traders who are going to prevent this rise this time too by their sales as they think this is the profit they should take out!

Price of the bitcoin is $4000 and my expection or hope will increase more the value. We need to maintain that value for the bitcoin price so the market will know again by the other people do they will invest again and the rising for the bitcoin price will continue for this now and the next target is $5000.

There will always be changes at any time. now what we need to do is wait, the market is trying to recover and bring a much better trust. we will get a good situation when we are patient and I am very optimistic that the price of bitcoin can reach much higher.

This could be true, like the previous one but for me, I feel this one seems better. I'm rooting to have a new floor price this time at $4k. If this one lasted longer or even in a week, then this might be a new floor price. Not so far from previous resistance but atleast we finally cross $4k.

I guess the OP got his answer quicker than he expected. We’re sub $4,000 AGAIN. It really seems to be a point of resistance with people dumping as soon as we go over $4,000.

Weird.

From what I see, if it does not go up to $4.2k or above then there is a chance it will go back to $3.7k. Just my instincts though through the experiences I have in the cryptocurrency market. But I still hope it goes back to $10k at least for this year so everyone gets a happy face.

why is there resistance at $4k? is it just because its a round number, psychological barrier or is there something else? I don't remember much going on at $4k when the price fell from $6k to $3100? I would think if anything, resistance would be at $6k where most people thought the bottom and was at for several months. what am i missing?

it really doesn't matter in my opinion. what matters most to me is what is going to come afterwards and how ready i am going to be for that. this rise is going to happen sooner or later whether it is going to be this time or next time in a week from now. the part that i am most interested in is how much price is going to shoot up when the rise begins. meaning right after we break the $4200 resistance and when the FOMO buyers run to bitcoin while dumping their altcoin bags and cause the bitcoin price to suddenly shoot up something like $2000 in only 1 hour!!!

From my point of view in the upcoming next years halving the price now have less volatility than in the last year movement and I think that the $4000 mark is a strong safe zone for the price right now, but we can not be sure about how it can last long it can be a couple of months I guess, But I am glad that we are going into some movement even if it is not a sudden pump a movement like these are OK for me than a less volatility and no movement at all, it can still go for a reversal the resistance for this value is so strong that it takes a couple of days before entering this value.

At this stage we cannot predict whether the resistance above $4200 will be broken with this run and if it does then we will see a further push to five thousand dollars before it hit another resistance level probably around $6500, if the market holds up like this by the end of this month then we will see another price rally, it depends upon how the market moves by the end of this month.

I think investors are beginning to believe in price stabilization and the end of the bear market, and fresh capital will flow into the crypto market. I believe that the $4k level will be crossed within a month.

I wouldn't focus so much on the $4K area. It's a resistance, but breaking it is less meaningful than you think and will probably only be temporary. Even if we tag $6,000 next month, it doesn't indicate a new bull market yet and it doesn't mean we're not going back to the $3,000s.

I do not get the excitement about crossing the $4k mark. It us not such a significant threshold, and in the past weeks the market price has been very stable close to that range.
We can actually start getting optimistic when we see the price within the $6000 range.

I don't think it will stay above 4000 for too long but I do not think it will drop too much neither. I feel like the levels of 3800-4200 is fairly realistic for now until we move further away in any direction. It could be going under 3800 or it could be going above 4200 but as long as neither of those things happen it will continue going between those prices up and down for a while. Which in terms means that yes price will fall below 4000 again but more like 100-200 dollars at most and nothing more.

So, if you consider 3999 as "under 4000" which it technically is but psychologically is not different from where we are today than yeah it will definitely go below 4000 mark soon. I just feel like as long as we do not get a big change in bitcoin the price is just stuck right now.

I'm a believer in Bitcoin but I don't underestimate the power of manipulation. This power is extremely strong on all crypto markets and the dump groups won't give up and let it grow when they know that supporters are still weak.

We aren't in the bull market yet and they will try to retest the lows at least one more time. For them to stop they will have to get rekt. This means that they will have to dump and get bought instantly like that time on march 14.

This is the most challenging part of crypto these days, which I think big whales now do their part of manipulation before hitting above $4k or higher. It's true if market moves smoothly and will pump amazingly, we will see another profitable value but if not bearish market will continue to pull down price towards down trend behavior. Everything here now was so unpredictable, so better stay tuned and don't give up until the dreams of $20k is reached.

Right now it is not because it is negative, but it is more likely that it will go below 4k, but there is a slight possibility that it will stay in 4k and take a small lateralization, if this lateralization occurs it is beneficial, since it would be creating an area of liquidity.

The movement towards 4k produced little volume, it is good, because there was almost no offer, and it has been falling a bit, but the price of bitcoin has decreased with a larger volume than it increased, this means that there is no offer in levels of lower price, then we could say that one of Wyckoff's Principles of Effort-Outcome Law is taking place.

We can consider another scenario, which is a bullish trap, so that many enter Long and then abruptly lower the price of bitcoin, to hunt the Stop Loss of the operators, and thus buy cheaper. The best thing to do at this moment is wait, in my case I do not see a clear entry to take a position in the market, the most healthy thing would be to wait for some important movement, and then there to react.

you can't expect the volume to increase beyond what it currently is and was in the past week when price rise is still small. in other words when for the past week price has been rising slowly from $3700 to $4000 the volume stays the same as the rate of this rise. if it changes and price goes up faster then you can expect a bigger volume.

Well, that's right. In my own speculation, Bitcoin will keep going down below four thousand dollars and I am not sure when it would rise up again. If I were you, I wouldn't expect Bitcoin to rise and will just wait what will happen to the next days. You have to acquire the mindset of holding and keep and not expecting good things but bad things. Enough of being very enthusiastic and hopeful because it will make you a bad trader/investor.

Just bet it, win or lose.

The market condition is telling us that its really hard to push through $4k and now we're here, I might say theres a huge chance that it'll fall back again a hundred or two dollars if not today maybe tomorrow or the other day. Im not being negative, rather Im just being realistic basing on my observation with the market and price movement. In fact, right now, Bitcoin's price slightly declined -1.75% from the last few hours. Yet, nobody could ever predict the price precisely, so I might be wrong with my statement.

sorry but your comment doesn't make any sense to me!
you don't explain why you think bitcoin will "keep going down".
and also what you say about the "mindset" doesn't make much sense either. you either speculate a rise in long term or you don't. if you do them you should be accumulating right now that price is stable and at least close to the bottom not just wait around!

Everything might be concluded by self understanding, we can't assure how bitcoin will behave within an hour or day but knowing where to position for your benefits can let us survive from this never ending sways, believing with your own assessment and make sure to stand on your own grounds, things will still be possible trend will bring the value we always wanted to see.

Basically since we broke $6K last November, pretty much every pump has been shorted down almost immediately.

However we actually had a failed low and have been slowly creeping up. One indicator that I look at is the open interest on Bitmex.

We are around the $500 million mark which is pretty constant which means that traders haven't taken profit yet.
Last time when we hit $4200 last time around the open interest basically shrunk by $100 million. This time it shrunk by $10 million or so which is very small.

So I am thinking we will at least test $4200 and who knows what will happen in that area. If we break it then it's a crazy FOMO short covering rally to $5000-$6000.

technically we have only had 2 attempts to rise so far ever since price dropped below $6k since you can not count small rises like from $3200 to $3300 as an attempt to rise!!!
("pump" is not the correct term to use here since rise is not the same as pump).

Quote
We are around the $500 million mark which is pretty constant which means that traders haven't taken profit yet.
traders have taken their profit out before we even fell below $6k!
the day traders are also taking profit daily so they are constantly doing it.

Depending on how will the traders move weather its a pump and dump fast or a slow and steady pump. I was really hoping that it would be a slow and steady pump till it reach around $4,500, this way it safe to trade unlike going to a big pump the after a few hours theres a huge dump.

there is still a possibility that market price movements will fall below $ 4000, but because many people expect a sharp rise in prices this year, after a slight decline not long after that market prices rise again. I think the enthusiasm of the crypto holder is fairly fair now, some expect market price movements to rise sharply and some take the opportunity to buy at low prices so that market price movements when rising do not increase sharply and when moving down cannot decrease in value at the lowest price point

As the price seems to be fluctuating there is possibilities to go low to $4000. Hope the fluctuations happen above $4000 supporting to cross further barriers.

It feels like its going to be a common thing for us though. I can't bet that we will stay above 4000 but I feel like that 4000 going to be more common than we all know. Normally lets face it we have spent most of our price at around 3500 range (less than 4000 I mean) for the past 4 months or so, now that we are here it looks like we will not be going down that much again and come back above 4000 a lot quicker this time.

I mean we have hit above 4000 around 5 or 6 times in the past 4 months or so, each time we dropped back to sub 3500 levels and we tried to recover heavily. This time it looks like we will not need that, and since we do not need to come back from so much down maybe this time when it goes up it can go up above 4200 levels for the first time creating a bullish trend? Who knows, lets hope so.

This could be true, like the previous one but for me, I feel this one seems better. I'm rooting to have a new floor price this time at $4k. If this one lasted longer or even in a week, then this might be a new floor price. Not so far from previous resistance but atleast we finally cross $4k.

And it is still holding today, with no significant movement whatsoever, so I will still be cautious though. Of course it's better to have a floor price of $4k rather than below. But personally, I don't know, I don't like this feeling.

I don't want to be negative but I have hunch that we might go back to sub $4k again in the coming days, just my opinion though. Looks like the rise to $4k is not organic, at least from what I see.

Yes we seen a good price coming over right now, but unfortunately it wasn't having good pumps, due to panic sellers who happened to sell while price spikes tend to swing. Fluctuating price remained unpredictable and strong holders cannot determine when will be the exact time they could move along. Eventually this situation will fall back again to great recovery when market return to it's rising trend soon as price will be more than $4k.

In case we do get that pump, I do believe that we'll stagnate below $5000 due to how bots will respect the moving averages and take profits before even reaching there, simply because it's unlikely that they break directly.

What people seem to forget is that short term traders and investors have had months to buy their coins below the $4000 mark. What do you think will happen when they see the price go up from where we are right now?

We have to start going up from scratch again, and that's far from an easy job with how there isn't much that signals the end of this lengthy bear market. It's much better to continue being conservative while the trend is still down.

the current resistance of bitcoin is 3k above mate since market experience massive declined last year and this current price of market is a small progress only after the several attempts of bull . For me until year end probably there's a chance again it will gradually decreasing again but for sure on month of may it will show again another progress which is a good chance to gain profits.

that is true if we don't see an actual FOMO in which case you are correct. the day traders will crash that rise and it has to be started all over again with a couple more ups and downs before the $5k is broken. but what @adaseb  was saying is about the existence of a FOMO which can easily push the price up beyond $5k in less than 6 hours and if the push is strong enough no amount of day trader/bots selling can negate that. we have certainly seen this multiple times before.

In case we do get that pump, I do believe that we'll stagnate below $5000 due to how bots will respect the moving averages and take profits before even reaching there, simply because it's unlikely that they break directly.

I'm guessing we run upto 6000 maybe even further so long as we break through 4500.   Its all a maybe till then, short term I would guess we do get 4500 but then another repeat of a sell with more on cue doom and gloom from people thinking a sell from 4500 means we must half in price

As far as moving averages goes we are above the 50 day which makes us roughly positive.   Then the big one to watch is the perfectly simple 200 day at 4883 so that indicator being in the orbit of 4500, so close is kind of a double whammy effect.     That area could easily be a short term ceiling

So I am thinking we will at least test $4200 and who knows what will happen in that area. If we break it then it's a crazy FOMO short covering rally to $5000-$6000.

I can't believe Bitcoin crossed the $4,000 line, in the weekend on the top of that. I feel like if Bitcoin is going to the moon soon. :D
Of course, a lot of people will just sell. They didn't buy all their coins during the winter just to be swag, they all have the plan to sell it, but they won't wait to see BTC/$20k, they will do it perhaps around $8k.

I'm curious to see if BTC will go again below the $4,000 line now.

I don't know if this is somehow sarcastic as I think (Haha), and yeah It's a little progress yet, a progress is a progress.

I'm curious to see if BTC will go again below the $4,000 line now.

As I see, It stabilized at this range $3.6-$4k basing on the past graphs (or I seem to be outdated). Hence, Let's expect that it will just play along the line and somehow it will cross below $4K line again. It's a quite month I guess for Bitcoin, it's like we are at the point in which "We don't expect much, nothing more and nothing less".

Pump UP Bitcoin, PUMP UP! :D

This time the price of bitcoin seems to stay above the $4000 barrier for a longer time period than the previous barrier cross. In this way surely there will be good increase in the falling days. As of now the price isn't moving big, but it continues to fluctuate staying above $4000. Also several predictions have come stating that the price might reach $4500 or get back to $3200. Let's hope for the best.

I don't think bitcoin has been able to stay a full week above $4000 without dumping back to below that amount.  In cryptocurrencies market we have to analyze what happened in the past in other to be able to be to forecasts what will happens in future.  Currently bitcoin is just trading a little above $4000 I think it is just $4022 at coinmarketcap.  It seems is about to go below $4000 again and this has happened more than 7 time this year alone.  Bitcoin needs strong momentum to remain above $4000 and going towards $3200 is out of equation for now according to my own analysis.

I don’t think people will really sell their pump at this time, if they wanted to sell when it clocked 4k, we would have seen a drastic dump in the price forcing the coin to go down below $4k immediately but as it stands now, many people are obviously waiting to see the end of it, I mean its peak.

I am also a holder and till I see Bitcoin get to $10k, I am not going to exchange it no matter the fluctuation that may arise within the time it accomplish that, for now, I really doubt if bitcoin will go below $4k again.

People filled their stock of bitcoins while the price was between $3,200 to $4,200. So, of course, they don't plan to sell them soon, even if the BTC continues its small rise. But if its value goes back to the $8,000, you can be sure they will start slowly to resell. Most people won't wait for a $15k-$20k and they aren't ready for another "slap to the moon" with a 70% crash later.

Well whales can play with the price and can easily pull it down again below 4k but those  that still remain holding btcs aren't weak hands anymore so yeah i doubt we'll go far down if ever. Perhaps in a few weeks we'll consistently be above 4k.

Does we need more support from the community and asking new comers not dump their coins easily. Hopefully they could realize it earlier and don't make another mistakes again. We are greatly in that range and can't even move higher but to stick below $4.1k, which is not good enough to bring bull run. We want to be profitable and so we need to help the market also.

Right now we are seeing a struggle at that level, the bulls are still trying to push the price above that resistance level and the bears are doing everything to resist them, to me it is still too soon so I think in the end the bears will win this round but it is likely that during the next months we will test those levels again and finally the bulls will beat the bears, if that happens it is likely we could reach a price close to 6000 and that is where I expect a new resistance level to form.

Last three days growth trend does not help to profit much. It does not seem to be neither increasing nor decreasing. Its sitting stagnant between $3990 to $4010. The move is really slow from $3990 to $4010 as well. Hence wish the trend should move forward a bit more to have good trade.

Surprisingly, bitcoin still holds above $4k as of today. Been trading side ways when it touches that price, it means there is a constant buying and selling at both end.

It could be a indication that speculators are waiting for FOMO to enter at this point and push the price along the $4200 barriers before they sell and book their profits.  ;D. Anyways, long term HODL'ers shouldn't be bothered though, I mean they already filled their wallets and I'm sure buying from every dip. So don't panic if ever the price goes < $4k again, just take that opportunity to buy even more.

Again we are little over $4,000. Many times we had price over $4,000 but price couldn`t hold there for too long, day or two and we sink back to $3,500. Ideal for day traders, for us who hold it for a little longer period its not ideal but I think we dont have nothing to complaint about. This is apparently new bottom and from here things can go much better when price start to rise, what will happen one day, maybe next year, we need to be patient.

After Bitcoin reached $4100 yesterday, the price goes down for a small price, and now, the price is up again and trying to break $4100 again. But the chance for the price to get down still wide open because the line of the chart still showing the down the line, so we need to be careful. I hope that in the next week, there is something good that could make the price to increase higher especially with the altcoin price.

Bitcoin breaking above $ 4,000 is certainly a positive development for the cryptocurrency's price action, but one analyst claims that it must maintain above this price level for the rest of the day in order for him to turn bullish. "Nice jump! Good to see Bitcoin above 4k again. The big test is 5k though, "saying that Bitcoin's big test remains at $ 5,000.

This time the price of bitcoin has been found above $4000 for a longer time period than that of the previous price increase. Bitcoin has gone above $4000+, and some predictions have come stating that these were some form of resistance development for a bigger price push. Possibly $4000 will stand as a standard value, still we can't conclude.

Even if everything does not depend on whales but with the game they played last, they have succeeded in corrupting the mind of other investors presently in the market and those investors you see now that are not whales are time bomb waiting to explode.

Half of those tens of millions you are looking at are also waiting to take advantage of the positive market condition and practice dump once the price goes high a bit which has practically turned them to a whale. Let me ask you a question and be sincere, the coins you are holding now, why have you not sold them, what are you waiting for? I need you to be sincere with your answer mate.

it will be very difficult to answer this, look at the price and see that it is not rising more than $ 4100 and if it keeps up with this $ 4000 price for a long time, then we run a great risk of the price dropping to $ 3800. We are now surpassing the barrier and taking into the account that we are continue to move slowly. It seems that the sentiment within the crypto market is slowly shifting from very bearish to less bearish considering how many people think $5000 or even $6000 is due in the coming months, which makes me seriously doubt it.

Before we somewhat stabilized above $3900 the sentiment was still very bearish, which countered what people expected to happen, so it's going to be interesting to see how this plays out in the coming weeks.

I hope it doesn't repeat and we go up higher, but even if so, how much momentum is there to sustain $5000? I'm sure that a lot of sellers are lined up to sell around that price. It will at least wake up people and show what a bear market really is.

Currently bitcoin trying to stay above $4K. And its positive for holders. But most of time fail to stay above $4K. But according to trading volume bitcoin is healthy enough. Although still it is on bear mode but anytime we can expect bounce from $4K. It's long time just playing between $3.5k and $4K. So according to Bitcoin history we will see some positive movement hopefully.

So, the game is in our hand then, if we want the price to scale through and go above the $4k, we need to start being the tool of the good news, we need to cultivate the habit of looking out for every positive news about bitcoin and spreading it rather than broadcasting the negative side of it.

I am not saying we should be biased in our view but some things need to be left unsaid not to mar the market and as a bitcoin community, we need to start encouraging the people we know to make use of Bitcoin for payment of their goods and services and not just exposing them to the investment side alone.

The possibility is there all the time, the only thing that is not certain is the time, no one knows exactly when the price will reach to our expectation.
If bitcoin can remain above $4000  for a very long term, it will mean the recovering face has started and we would need to see that if that can happen the next strong level will be $5850. We have seeing bitcoin trying to break $4100 to $4250 trading area and since December it has done that several times without success.  Currently bitcoin look very healthy but it is still making another minor corrections again and it has fall below $4000 today again.

There is no big history left in the past, and it is very unlikely that the increase will be like the past.
The obscurity will continue until the crypto market gets old and gains value. We should not look for a clear idea in this obscurity.

unfortunately $4000 holds no significance and that is why when we broke above it, nothing happened afterwards and price still goes up and down over this number. the only price that matters is a little bit higher at $4200 and when that one is broken we can start talking about end of the accumulation phase but until then it will continue to happen.

Again today BTC failed below the $4,000 that's suck 👎
I hope it doesn't last all week, I thought the $4,000 limit shouldn't be crossed again, to show how Bitcoin can resist. What we would need is lot of cash injected on the market, we could see how Bitcoin reacts, it would set the tone for the rest of the year.

my question is will bitcoin get below $4000 again or it is on the part to break the resistance level that has been pushing it backward?

it will be very difficult to answer this, look at the price and see that it is not rising more than $ 4100 and if it keeps up with this $ 4000 price for a long time, then we run a great risk of the price dropping to $ 3800. We will see in the next weeks how it will be. But I do not believe that the price rises more than $ 4100, is more likely to fall below $ 4000
Very likely the price fell, moreover usually a stable price like today is very easy to fall. the price is still in the range of $4000 because it has not been able to rise because there is no support, if this condition continues to occur, it is very likely that prices will go down to $3800, we better prepare for all of these

A sideways trend like this is a good one because we are keep on challenging the wall on top and for sure later ok we will convincingly break it and make a new up trend. We should really stay above on $4k level to confirm if there’s a big price changes this year or we will remain on the sideways and make people more uncomfortable to but more.

As this trend tried to continue, we possibly be reaching into $5k in the 2nd quarter. of this year(hope).

Unless FOMO kicks in.  We all know once FOMO kicks in, those who are lining up to sell around a certain price will be also affected.  Instead of selling, they will hold it aiming for a higher price which will push Bitcoin price higher.  But of course, there should be a lot of buy pressure and positive market opinion regarding Bitcoin price for this thing (FOMO) to appear which is somehow difficult to see around this time.

And Bitcoin Market recent sentiment is quite positive so I guess it will slowly have a   gain in price (after going under $4k) or at least go sideways.

The price is currently playing around 3800 to almost 4000 dollar, then if the price hits the 4k mark probably it will stay on that price for a long period of time like what we saw on the todays price. But still anything can happen with price and we are aware of that.

I agree with you and the views you have shared with us.  The sideways market is good and it is a sign that the bearish trend is almost over and the accumulation time is about to be over.  If you did not buy now you may be left out of the next bull run.
Bitcoin has tried several times to break the upper channel of the current trading cycles and I believe that if there is a breakout it will be heading towards $4800 and another strong resistance level at $5850.

This is hard to predict. We had similar situations several times so far and it was always a hope that Bitcoin will stay above 4000$ and continue to rise but that didn't last for long. To my personal opinion I think it will be very hard for price to retain above 4000$ level so I actually don't expect different scenario than we had few weeks ago.

We are in a flat market, end of story

Still, if the past history is of any reference and relevance here, we are likely to continue trading in a certain range with occasional pumps and dumps due to market thinning (read, expect more daily volatility). So answering your question specifically, it looks like we will see Bitcoin cross the 4k mark many times in both directions yet. On the other hand, we are unlikely to see severe crashes (say, down to 3k, unless a black swan flies our course), which is in fact a good sign (after the 2018 meltdown). Couple that with a very slow but nevertheless steady rise over the last months and the sun will start to shine again

Bitcoin's marketcap has grown much higher and the experts do really expect bitcoin value fly high to the moon in the month of June. Lets wait and see the good things happen.

As everyone predicted yes, the value will start travelling from $4k to $5k this month. Yes, today BTC value will get pumped as May begin. Hence, just buy as much as possible now. Invest in BTC and ETH. If you have enough investment, go for BTC.  If you have more investment, better buy bitcoin alone and hold for a long time.

Only 2 days left for this month to end, only a miracle can push BTC price to $5k imo. My fingers are crossed.  ::)

I read a BTC technical analysis yesterday, where it said if BTC hits $4.400 by the next week then its a plus otherwise it will fall back near to $3.400.

As of tonight, BTC looks strong at $4k.

Obviously, it will go in either direction. But the main thing is that most of us is involving our emotions and sentiments and wanted to see the price goes to the next level, but we can't really tell because the market is very volatile.

The price touches $4100 today, but still, there's no indication that it can be sustained.

For now and based on the performance of Bitcoin for the past few days, I think it is very clear to me that Bitcoin has really come to stay above the $4000 mark, I see it moving towards $4200 within the next two weeks and if it has to touch any downward price again, it will not go below $4100 before bouncing back to $4200 and then probably we see it come out of bear market finally and start preparing itself for the bull run of next year by gradually growing in price for the remaining part of this year, this is still just my own personal prediction though and market cannot be 100% predicted.

Either way, the market would just go where it wants and there is no single person who could tell where would it be. So stop involving your emotions on this market situation it doesn't help it either. We are just in a stable market but luckily it does change every week as of my observation on it but it's still bearish so it's still not enough for the most traders.

So many fakeouts lately, I don't trust any support/resistance anymore, at this point we need a huge bull/bear move to really know where the market is heading. In the past few months bitcoin has broken several daily resistances and all of them had no follow through, just fakeouts, it's a very messy environment right now.

Maybe but in my view there's a possibility also that it will go down below again for a second time on this round, because the current price as of now is very near Wherein $4090 and in just small fluctuation for sure it will go down below $4000 suddenly without knowing. .in fact the pattern now show a small adjustment on the price, so if bitcoin didn't make a progress again for sure we will see bitcoin below very soon.

For the main time Bitcoin market value will remain above $4000 but it might be a short while because the move the resistance level is not that quite strong. Although, if it can maintain the level above $4000 in three weeks then one can say it Bitcoin market value will remain above $4000 level from now on till any other reversal trend.

Very good point, bro

Everyone should think about this before jumping to any conclusions about bottoming out (even though it looks and feels like we did), finding a strong support, breaking resistance, and similar things. Cryptocurrency market has always been unpredictable, and it is even more unpredictable now when there is no established trend and any news, either positive or negative, can cause a major price shift

seeing the current trend in the price chart is very difficult for bitcoin to fall below the $ 4000 price like last year's market, but we are only optimistic about breaking the resistance level but we have to be cautious in sentimental about whales prices can return to 4000 $ for some time ...

The year 2018 is very much different from the 2019 for the crypto currencies. We were in bear mode in 2018 and the market never picked up. This year we see a lot of good news and you can see the positive voice in the market.

Seeing the current market conditions, I am sure bitcoin will boom anytime soon.

I think it's too early to tell

As we are barely 3 months into the year. 2018 was a turbulent year but it was not all down as there were massive rebounds too. Indeed, we simply can't fall another 10 thousand dollars though it doesn't mean that we can't fall another 50% or so (but let's hope that we won't). So even if 2019 does feel different so far, there is potentially nothing that could prevent Bitcoin from crashing lower (and all other cryptos following it). And then 2019 will feel pretty much like an extension of 2018

yes op it is  . bitcoin is already passed the 4k limit and infact the value also rose over 5k in a matter of few days .  with these observation i think the value can grow more because this can attract potential investors as well as existing investors to invest more but at the end of the day  , the whales decision are still the ones that matter the most because they are still the ones that can move the price in any direction according on thier likings .

just dont expect too much so that you wont feel bad . okay ?  :)

5k is still far away. In last 15 days bitcoin is holding strong position over 4k and gaining few dollars almost everyday, today over 4100 and closing to 4150 mark. I think we will stay here for a while, bitcoin can gain few hundred dollars more, it will be my exit point, cause I believe we will see 3500 once again before the summer. Speculating the bitcoin price is a game, don`t expect too much, don`t be greedy and you will always make some profit.

Im feeling blessed and excited,  why Im excited? Because Im excited what bitcoin can do again from low price to high price Im excited to see again more than $10,000 is gpod price in the second quarter of this year. I think the value of $4000 is the minimum value for the bitcoin and it will not down again and continue increasing we see in the crypto market for the next coming weeks and months.

Well, I think right now, the price of bitcoin has started to rise above $ 4000. this is a pretty good start. although it's still difficult to assume that the price of bitcoin can reach $ 10k, however, I think the current price of bitcoin is good enough to rise continuously. well, the next point is that the bitcoin price will definitely be $ 5,000 for April.

I don't there's any definite price for btc in the short term. People will sell and try to make profit once the price gets to that point. Take for example the mini pump that happened a while ago. Price never did get to 5k although it came close to breaching that. It may start a new support of above 4k though.

Let's hope for that, the feeling is good when we are trading higher than the bottom.
It's like a bull run to us even though we are still down big from ATH, this price movement gives big excitement for holders, who would thought BTC could pump more than 10% in one day when it barely cannot rise over 5% in the past few months.

Everyone feels happy after the increase in Bitcoin prices, this is a good momentum to implement a better level. The price of Bitcoin is greatly influenced by all of us, therefore the support and increase in the volume of Bitcoin transactions is something we must do. Increase Crypto usage so we will all feel the benefits together.

After today's massive surges in bitcoins price, I think we will most likely stay above $4000 at least until after the Bitcoin consensus in may, we might even move up to 5,500 or above in the coming weeks.
It looks like we have turned the heavy resistance just above $4.000 to a new support level.

It looks like it will continue to increase as many have said it will reach at least $5k. with the resistance that continues to occur after the bear market at least the range of $4k will be the lowest point or even it will continue to increase until it reaches the next higher point, because if this is just an usual pump then the price will likely stagnate at the next point.

Don't get hyper-excited. We still don't know the reason for this bull run. There were no triggers. So either some billionaire has invested a few million USD in to Bitcoin, or there is a sudden downswing in the supply of coins. The second one sounds more reasonable, as there were rumors that some of the largest mining farms were toning down their operations due to the mounting losses. Also, BCH went up by some 50% during the past 24-hours. This also supports the theory that mining issues have something to do with the current bull run.

Well whales have lots of great impact on the market but we too encourage them a lot by recognizing them too much as if they are GOD, they might be very relevant now in making or to also mar the market, it doesn’t mean they will exist for life, they will become very irrelevant once the cryptocurrency market becomes very stable.

Whales have done more damage to the cryptocurrency that the did good to us, all we need is investors that will come in at large to put in money and not whales that strictly come in to solely manipulate the market to their own benefit alone and not for any other person.

Yeah sure it's not impossible, that price range can be easily attained with little time I meant it even surpassed that price range to a certain level which none would think of and the aggressive rate it has shown was not a thing that could comprehend easily. The thing is it will not settle for a price that is certain with long periods of time.

Maybe if big investor like that will be whale and join their groups. (if there are exist) because investor maybe not really care about how their investment will last longer or not. As long they profit, they will take it.

$5000 resistance level has been broken and I hope now bitcoin will remain strong above that.  I think the $4000 issues is over and we are now praying bitcoin remain strong above $5000. The next strong resistance level is around $5850 and if that level is broken then I believe that the bearish trend is over and another bullish long term trend has commenced.  For those that bought bitcoin over $6000 I will like to encourage us to keep holding until bitcoin recover to our purchasing price before think of selling because if we sell now we would sell at loses.

We seem to be staying at over $5,000 for long, BTC keep grinding uptrend and that's how good it is now.
Trading is good at this situation now as the market looks very bullish, and I believe when the market is bullish, it is easier to make money.

Crypto's journey does look good and every time it increases, investors return and believe that bitcoin will recover soon. In low bitcoin conditions remain the top so I think bitcoin will stay above $ 4000 and have useful functions. I admit that bitcoin is a useful investment tool in the future, market movements will provide color and this is the ebb and flow of digital currencies.

Price seem to have found a new stable point at above 5k. I'm not hoping for an early bull run but just for us to hold this support line and then we can move forward from there. We're slowly getting back to the point where we stayed for a long time last november  so let's get back there first eh?

I totally agree. It is ppositive to see that the market stabilizes above 5k.
It is a good level that maybe will show some resistance if the prices starts falling. I don't hope that the bull market has started yet as you do, but I am ambitious and optimistic that we are in a good way of reaching a green market.

Yes, the price will be back to that price first before it could increase higher. The chances for bitcoin to rise higher will be there, and we will see it will fly higher. The price now is moving to the higher price and reach $5200 in some exchanges, and if there is nothing bad news comes out, then bitcoin price can increase more. But I have a little worried to see if the price cannot rise and will getting down for a moment because if that happens, then bitcoin price needs to wait for a while before it could increase again.

Bitcoin prices have exceeded expectations and now the price has reached 5,000USD. This is a remarkable achievement because throughout 2018 and Q1 in 2019 we are always faced with a sluggish market. This is a positive change and I hope it will last for a longer period of time. Hopefully the market is on a good track and we can get satisfying results throughout 2019.

More than $5k now. We are still not in the mid-year but it looks like bitcoin is on the way to recovery. Investors are coming back into the market, maybe they want to join early or just going FOMO, but it is all good. Yes, a positive change that can eventually bring the market to a bull cycle, so let's see how it is going to be in and let's say optimistic that the run will continue up to the end of this month.

Well looking at it, seems everyone wants for bitcoin price to continue rising. I hope it will until the end of this year! Last year 2018 was a bad market and investment for most of us so maybe this year it is going to be another golden year. From what I see on the graph below, it's about to get to $6,000 USD by end of this week.

But we have to be more observant for the following days and accept for the possible result of its value, just be optimistic and persistent.

We shouldn’t be talking about $4000 trend again, that one has already long gone in the history of Bitcoin for now and presently now, we are on the era of $5000 which I also will end very soon to give chance to more onward value.

The moment the bull stepped its leg into the market made the $4k die with the bear market and from now on, we will continue to experience a gradual increase in the price of Bitcoin and every other altcoins that are worthy to follow the trend, and I am not so sure if BTC will ever fall back to $4k again even after the BULL because there are so many developments now in BTC that will always keep the market on a very good price.

Never say never

I understand that we all want to believe in the further rise (well, let's at least hope that we won't tank but continue to stay over 5k). But if anything, I would never say that the "good old days" of the $4000 trend are long gone by now as it was only a couple of weeks ago that we we hovering a little over that mark. And it definitely won't take much (and long) to get back there even though this is not we could ever hope for

My prediction is not without reason, because today the bitcoin is already at the position of the price of USD 5600. If the demand for bitcoin gets bigger the pressure for the price to rise is also getting bigger.

And now it is proven that the price of Bitcoin is above 5000 USD. This is the existence where bitcoin is still believed to be a commodity future. Correction in the market is a normal thing I guess. Since 2018 the price of bitcoin has dropped dramatically and is now starting to recovery again.

The increase is satisfying because the price moves around 5500 and it seems that there is a solid support at that level.
Many people say although, that we will hit 6k and then we will head down to 4k and from that point the bull point will start. I really don't think that this is going to happen but I keep a backup.

And now it is proven that the price of Bitcoin is above 5000 USD. This is the existence where bitcoin is still believed to be a commodity future. Correction in the market is a normal thing I guess. Since 2018 the price of bitcoin has dropped dramatically and is now starting to recovery again.

The increase is satisfying because the price moves around 5500 and it seems that there is a solid support at that level.
Many people say although, that we will hit 6k and then we will head down to 4k and from that point the bull point will start. I really don't think that this is going to happen but I keep a backup.
Since when have they been speculating this, now they have shifted to $6000 again, I heard this when bitcoin was $4500, many of them speculated bitcoin to return back to $4000 when it reaches $5000, we saw the value and bitcoin never retraced, so I doubt if this will be feasible this time around, they are always there to create FUD news, and FUD news no longer work that much again.

The only new Bitcoin communities respond to are the ones that are positive, so they will rather hold on to that, the bears can’t just continue speculating that when there is no one interested in dumping their assets.

Nope we will not remain above 4000 because we will go above and will stay mpre than 5000$ and hopefully will go more and more like what we have in 2017 when we crash down the highest record of all times

This will be the start of the new beginning of bullmarket

The moment Bitcoin decided to celebrate the FOOLS day for us was when the market started recovering, and we bid a good buy to the value of $4000, I see nothing that will really drop the price of bitcoin below $5000 now, and I agree with you that we have begun on a journey of increase on bitcoin.

Henceforth, we will continuously see a steady growth in the price of BTC, we might get some corrections along the line but the correction will have no real significant effect on the market or force the market to retrace below $5500 again, we have already crossed the path of $5500 successful heading towards $6000.

Its been a month and we never goes back to $4k level after hitting the level of $5200. The price of bitcoin are more stable now and its the start to go up high. We can break all the resistance, we can go as far as we can and bitcoin will make that thing possible. We have a good speculation with bitcoin, so expect better prices this year.

Until $4200 there was predictions stating that the price could fall back to $3800 and reach a low bottom to $3000, if not it'll cross $4500. To the predictions everything happened in a positive way and the price crossed $4500, further the gradual growth continues and now it has made the price reach close to $6000 which is predicted to be the barrier for a forward marching to reach $10000.

New lows will be above $5k now. I can't see the price going back lower than $4950, although I know that the market is very volatile. But if there's so much bullish sentiments as we have seen in the past weeks., it's hard to see the price going below $5200-$5300.

So let's see how everything pans out, we have reach above $5800 but it seems a big stumbling block is in front of us causing the price to do some retracement.

Yeah sure it's not impossible, that price range can be easily attained with little time I meant it even surpassed that price range to a certain level which none would think of and the aggressive rate it has shown was not a thing that could comprehend easily. The thing is it will not settle for a price that is certain with long periods of time.
well, this time I'm also very sure that the price of bitcoin will really be above the price of $ 4000. now the price development is happening quite fast. even I feel that the price will continue to grow far above the price of $ 4000.

Price seem to have found a new stable point at above 5k. I'm not hoping for an early bull run but just for us to hold this support line and then we can move forward from there. We're slowly getting back to the point where we stayed for a long time last november  so let's get back there first eh?
Many people say that we are back on the right track, I think so. prices will no longer fall below $5k. we are getting stronger now, and moreover the conditions are getting better and marketcaps are getting bigger again, so $4k will no longer happen this year #imo

The price of the bitcoin almost reach the $6000 last week before correction set in. I believe that bitcoin will eventually reach tge $6k if its stays above $5600. If there are no negative developments that affects the price of the top coin in the coming days, the price will surely stay above $4000. The market situation fof this year is turning positive as many altcoins are also going up.

For your information,  the market is already in a bull cycles and that is why we are having consistently upwards movement.  I have been in this market for long and this year 2019 bitcoin actually is standing on the good note.  If you know what is good for you it is important you buy some units now and keep holding,  maybe the gods of bitcoin and others cryptocurrencies will favour us in this year and next year and we would be able to make millions from the market.  It is also very important we know that investing into cryptocurrencies entails risk and you should not go into it without proper understand of how this market work.

Yes the market status these days shows a positive price in bitcoin and some altcoins rising up. I believe price will stays above 4k and hopefully we will cross $6k as long this good happening in bitcoin will continue.

It has gotten above that and this time around we are just looking forward to it reaching the six thousand dollars benchmark. A lot of news has been carrying that there is going to be a bull this year and we don’t know when exactly it is going to be in this year. I have also seen some people to that claims there is not going to be anything as bull run this year because of the halving that is coming next year, so the halving is going to be that next year after the halving . If you ask me, I’d say it is going to be this year because they have been predicting bull run since early 2018🤔

I don’t think that $6000 value should even be a concern to us again because I am already seeing BTC step foot finally on that value this week since it almost got so close to breaking that barrier, I have seen the way other price movement has been, to me, every time we see a little correction, within 2 to 3 weeks of this correction, it uses force to fully break the next barrier.

It is just as if someone is controlling the market and I really love it price movement now, lot of people won’t be too agitated again and will just be watching the price to keep picking its next target till probably we shift towards the bull run.

Currently the price and the market are in green but no one can't predict how long this will last. It could happen that the growth will continue and maybe cross the "magic limit" of 6000$ or the price might pull back. At the moment, even if some corrections happen, I don't expect for price to go under 4000$but it's not excluded that this will happen again in the future.

We can see that right now market has been stable for the past few weeks at $5000 it slowly rising and i don’t see some point that bitcoin go  down again in $4000 price,  like there’s so many news lately showing that huge company will try to invest a decent amount of money and also facebook was trying to create it’s coin and based it into a payment system, I’m predicting bitcoin value will still stable and increase it value slowly.

Bitcoin is about to actract large funds into it and many big investors are speaking good about it now than before.  I am happy that we can now saying positive things about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies market on like last year when all our words were negative about the market.  I could remember feeling sad one day because I read an article that predicted bitcoin to fall as low as $500 in 2018 but thank God that did not happen and now we are seeing some prediction that bitcoin might grow to $50,000 and I do believe in this!
