Can QKC be mined with any of Claymore miners? I've a few nVidia GPUs that I'm using to mine ETC these days through Claymore ethash miner... Can I use any similar settings for QUARKCHAIN?

For qkc mining, there is now only Ethminer (https://github.com/jyouyj/ethminer/releases/tag/QuakrChain_Miner_Windows_Binary_Release_AMD_OpenCL - AMD and NVIDIA), in order to start mining, you need to start the node (cluster) - where You will have your address registered. Can I mine this coin using Nicehash or Miningrigrental ?

When mainnet will be launched, there will be a lot of pools offering Quarkchain mining. I'm waiting for Zergpool with multialgo switching and autoexchange for Bitcoins.

I am totally excited that QuarkChain choose the hybrid PoSW protocol for the first months, it helps the mainnet to become secure but also there is a huge opportunity for all token holders - big staking rewards.

for now, it seems like there hasn't been any news about mainnet for this project. well, maybe now they are focusing on tesnet, and covering up the shortcomings that occur. I think there are many waiting for mainnet from this project. based on the roadmap, Mainnet 1.0 will be held this year

So info about launch main network on April 30, 2019 is not correct?

Mainnet launch is planned to the 30th April 2019. There are no informations about any delay.
Do not forget that also staking for voting is ending in 2 days.  :)

I think that when you mine QKC which is now in the testnet and you will not get real QKC and you will get QKC that will be swapped to the real QKC coin. you must consider this because it's really important for you.

I understand that mainnet will be launched in April 30, 2019 and I would appreciate if anyone could give us more information on the mainnetwork and its mining viability. Maybe some miners would be kind enough to share his / her mining setup and current profitability.

Look at the stats of the mainnet: http://mainnet.quarkchain.io/stats - only 5 nodes and 2 confirmed transactions after almost 2 days of launch? Seems that something is not working here.  ::)

I checked the latest announcement on the quarkchain and that's indeed the main net has already launched. it seems like QKC lacks demand. That looks like QKC will become the next platform that will have abandoned by investors.
the price still dumps and so many QKC supporters are being confused with it.

No update on how to mine on mainnet ?

Where do I get the mining guide? I could not find it, I thought it would be made available in the Ann thread as it was said, but I did not find it there.

I think its understandable given that its too early right now to assume a more robust network but I hope the team will do their best to attract more miners into the network and make it grow big like giving them adequate rewards and making it profitable.

Fail, fail. They announced that 50 Guardian Elfs will be elected - but suddenly not enough votes - only 34 Guardian Elfs were been really elected. Is that a really good way how to secure mainnet?

QuarkChain is one of the main competitors of Ethereum in the future. That's why I'm not surprised that many miners have an interest in this coin. It will be interesting for me to watch this competition.

It could be because it supports multi native tokens, also Dapps created on Ethereum Virtual Machine could be easily tranfered to QuarkChain. But that only works on paper, as you can see..  ::)

Quarkchain mining seem to be paying mining rewards in tQKC which will later be swapped for the already listed QKC (the first pool was for 5m coins)I am not sure what the conversion ratio are.Anyone with useful info?,waiting for the launch of the mainnet

QuarkChain has a chance to get ahead of Ethereum in the implementation of sharding. Ethereum will have the opportunity to watch it for some time. I think it can be a positive experience.

If you say it in this way, then it is advantageous for both sides.
State sharding is technology used by QuarkChain and Ethereum.
While Ziliqa uses easier solution - network sharding.

I heard that the Harmony coin should appear soon. They are also developing sharding. I think that this year there will be more and more projects that will develop sharding technology.

Everybody is talking about this project only because they are on binance and now hyip and everything.
But besides the speed they have nothing at the moment and the team is clearly not up to the desired level. I am interested in more why quark continues to fall in price?

Quarkchain token is one of the most stable coin among the low cap coins. Many people are waiting what will happen, they do not want to sell their tokens too quickly.

Are you a joker, what do you mean by stable, this is a coin that has lost more than 75% of its value in the last 30%, this is a failed project IMO and everything about this project seems like a scam and people need to remember that huge number of the locked tokens would enter the market in June and price will dumped more. Look before you jump into this project and not get burnt

What happens to the price of the token? After a small increase again a sharp drop. Mining is just not profitable for players like us.
If this continues, the network can be attacked and the project simply collapses. A little more and really will go to the mining of other projects and selling everything that managed to mine.
And judging by the forum, many are going to do it soon.

I do not think that it is a scam, but developing such technology require a time.
If they do it, then they will develop it 2 years before Ethereum plans it.
And about the price, there was a misunderstanding by sending team tokens to Binance.  ::)

Mining this coin is a very long-term investment. and for this reason, you should be able to ensure that the growth of this mount will not start soon.

The network looks being monopolized by some miners and it looks like the reward is very small adjusted with the price of QKC right now.

Can someone tell me about a simple calculation about the block reward? As per the old article has already explained about the testnet but i was seeing the different configuration after it comes to the main net.

Someone who is mining mainnet QKC coins? Is it profitable? I know that there was instructions how to mine but only in russian.
We are all waiting for the token swap, then  we can finally use our tokens and try the power of sharding!

Hello, wanted to give a try to mine QKC but i have some problems with the address.


PhoenixMiner working well for me for a long time and this is not my problem.

i took from binance a QKC address, write in miner, mining on qkc.ontopool.com. all was working without issues for hours.

So now the problem: qkc address from binance - and never had issues when i took for testing one address from them - looks like "xyz"


BUT ontopool "makes" from it "xyz000000" - all other mining adresses there also look like this! - so i have coins on "xyz00000" but cannot take them, ok its maybe 2$, so not worth


but what i make wrong?
