So what's the aim of you posting this on the forum? How will this be of help to the forum members. Newbies the only cryptocurrency trustable forum out there is the one you're viewing this reply from don't trust any other one. most of them were created due to some selfish reason but Bitcointalk wasn't created for monetary gains instead it was co-founded by satoshi to provide a forum where we can hangout and discuss bitcoin (now cryptocurrency).  Some of those similar site with the same design as Bitcointalk could also be potential phishing site and if at all you're going to register on them, don't use same details you used here.

Forum is place for everyone to discussion, sharing tips and create good topic.
Why we must check every forum if we already join in one forum with useful idea to share. I already check that forum and their post is fewer than bitcointalk forum post

We don't need these tons of forums, to be honest. I've seen bitcoingarden and their UI is just like a copy paste from here and seems it's a dead forum with have few useful topics. We're already in the right one so I'll don't bother to visit the others. Though, somehow maybe you want to read and know more, just head on reddit and search topics that you prefer and you'll find it more engaging.

Whichever forums are, whichever their policies, and rules are, what I care about is:
- Forum should have strict rules, and strict managers to keep it clean.
It is always messy to join the forum that burried by trash, banners, overlarge and annoying animated images, and what we saw in the forum months ago (before merits come to us), shitty posts.
In all of those aspects, it is most likely that bitcointalk forum is the best one, so far.

I really can’t be bothered with other Crypto Forums unless a pretty good reason crops up to ponder them over Bitcointalk. Even so, I’ve taken a quick glimpse at the list (so my first impressions may be wrong):

Bitalk.org                             -> Seems to be Russian only.
Bitcoin.com                          -> Not too active (not bad UI).
litecointalk.io                        -> Not really interested in a Litecoin specific forum + rather inactive.
cryptocurrencytalk.com         -> Rather innactive on substantial threads (like the video section).
bitcoingarden.org/forum/      -> Very similar UI (SMF). Structure a bit weird, and 24K members only.
bitcoinforum.com                 -> Also very similar UI (SMF). Not very active, and just under 18K members only.
allcryptotalk.com                  -> Not many boards not activity.
cryptorum.com/forums/        -> Very weak in terms of boards and content.
talk.peercoin.net                  -> Specific to peercoin
mastersofcrypto.com/forum/ -> I like the guides .. but nothing else (+ barely any activity).

So, in summary, none of the above come even close to Bitcointalk neither in terms of content nor, very likely, prestige and history of its members.

I know you are trying to create a list and help those people who are looking for other forums.

But what's the point if you're already on the biggest bitcoin/crypto forum ever?

Perhaps  title saying List of Cryptocurrency forums.
Since when did litecointalk.io become a bitcoin forum?
Most of those forums are way too inactive. You make a post and It could take 5 days for the first person to respond to it.

It's quite amusing to me that DdmrDdmr has done a better job at what it appears OP was aiming to do. At least their post gives me some insight into what I'd be getting myself into by clicking the link. I'm looking at a list of some dodgy bitcoin websites, and the only thing I can think to myself is that I've never heard of a single one of these. Multiple are adding a "talk" at the end of their name; if I had to guess that's more of a rip-off than an homage.

What criteria did you use to compile your list, OP? It looks like you just typed "Crypto Forum" into a Search Engine and grabbed a handful.

I searched top 10 crypto currency forums and they are the ones that came up in the searches

A very nice thread and I feel we should have a more similar thread on different topics, as it’s something that’s very helpful for beginners. And going by same route, you can check Cryptolinks, where they have ALL information and that include the list of the Best Crypto Forums (https://cryptolinks.com/cryptocurrency-forum), so it should be extremely useful for everyone to check and use. While as per rest, it’s certainly GREAT if we could add more and more forums here for people to see.

After cleverly opened all OP site links, i discovered that, none of these cryptocurrency forum measure heights with the famous Bitcointalk.org which is the first among it equals and created by Satoshi Nakamoto. All other forums are full of inactive forum members compare to what BCT.org is.

I don't think any other forum is worth visiting and this summary is accurate. At least the OP didn't put that phishing .io clone either.
Every time you search things online, you inevitably find links to this forum, even altcoins need to born here is its like they never exist.

Reddit is sometimes interesting, but the only thing like this forum is of course the official #bitcoin channel at Freenode (https://freenode.net/).

Most of these are actually cryptocurrency forums and not bitcoin based. Even this forum which is the off shoot of the creator of bitcoin also comprises all other cryptocurrencies.

If we discussing other forums, we should consider looking moonforum, you can search it up for the link, it is fairly new but already making waves and filled with quality discussions

The only place I like to access to discuss the general aspects of Bitcoin besides BitcoinTalk is Reddit. I have registered on most of these forums, but almost never used them. There are some forums and sites about specific projects that are interesting, plus some groups of messagers like Telegram, discord, and slack. Beyond github.

I've seen bitcoingarden and their UI is just like a copy paste from here and seems it's a dead forum with have few useful topics.
You can't say that's copy, all forums built on SMF looks more or less similar. You simply can't make forum which would look 100% unique when SMF is used on thousands of forums.
I searched top 10 crypto currency forums and they are the ones that came up in the searches
[/quote]
So, you just Googled top 10 crypto forums and just copied search results without even checking it. Much work done!

Guys, there are no need to compare these forums with Bitcointalk. Simply it can't be compared by history, number of members, content and etc. But some of these forums can be partial alternative to Bitcointalk, some are for people who interested in specific altcoin. There is also some good non-English crypto forums like Bitalk.org

I agreed with your great point.
There are some indicators for good forums:
- History (its origin, and its original purposes): In this indicator, there is no forum better than bitcointalk.org forum, definitely.
- Members: especially active members. Only figures on active ones should be counted, inactive ones should be excluded to avoid bias.
- Contents: it is obviously important, because no one have interest to join forums in which tons of trashes spread around.
- Existence of top old, well-known projects: Such as bitcoin, ethereum, dash, monero, bitshares, clams, etc. In this indicator, once again bitcointalk.org forum is the best. There is no competitor in the indicator, by now.
- Strict rules, and good forum managements: In my opinion, the forum has still been the best. This is why forum users tend to spammed complaints when some big changes made, but still kept joining the forum, not leaving it.  :P

Definitely. The only forums I've really used for a while is bitcointalk.org and bitcoin.com(in the past, when I thought bitcoin.com was the "official" bitcoin website 🤦‍♂️). At the moment, I'm just with bitcointalk, r/bitcoin, and r/cryptocurrency(if you actually consider subreddits as "forums").

The Bitcoin Pub forum also looks decent though.

The list might be useful for those who want to promote their services, but for those who want to look for forum to learn (or possibly get additional income) then I doubt we have other forums than Bitcointalk. I personally know some services that are interested to promote their services on other forums (basic principle of marketing, spread your message to potential clients whenever they are), but tbh, forum wise, it's not really a good place to discuss. You post today, reply will come tomorrow or maybe next week.

I think any one on this forum has Nothing much to search for in other bitcoin related groups.
To point out the fact that the creator of bitcoin satoshi nakamoto is also the founder of the forum and there are multi expert on this group

I only think it would confuse individuals especially the newbie with different orientation on issues

To sum up, the more shitty forums you join, the more chances you will fall into traps.
Traps of scammers, traps of phishing links, and eventually higher probability to lose your money by get stolen, get hacked, get investment losses.

Please don't join shitty forums, except own built forums from top altcoins.

Saying good, many scammers open her traps of phishing link so advise that unknown phishing link does not open, first check mail provider name carefully than open the link, all forum is not fake or use phishing link. some bad mentality people can try scam because scammer does not try hard work she/he want that how to earn free money without work.

This is the only forum that has a historical value compared to the ones on your list. Bitcointalk will always remain "the forum" where Satoshi introduced a new and revolutionary payment system we all fell in love with.

Bitalk.org (http://Bitalk.org)
Bitcoin.com (http://Bitcoin.com)
litecointalk.io (http://litecointalk.io)
cryptocurrencytalk.com (http://cryptocurrencytalk.com)
bitcoingarden.org/forum/ (http://bitcoingarden.org/forum/)
bitcoinforum.com (http://bitcoinforum.com)
allcryptotalk.com (http://allcryptotalk.com)
cryptorum.com/forums/ (http://cryptorum.com/forums/)
talk.peercoin.net (http://talk.peercoin.net)
mastersofcrypto.com/forum/ (http://mastersofcrypto.com/forum/)
moonforum.net (http://moonforum.net)

I cannot discern what do you want to imply in this post. I mean, why do you need to post this if we have forum that is greater than those.

This is the only forum that has a historical value compared to the ones on your list. Bitcointalk will always remain "the forum" where Satoshi introduced a new and revolutionary payment system we all fell in love with.

Yes, Satoshi Nakamoto (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3) has an account in this forum also. Why do you need to jump from other?

Well, all of that can happen right here too, being this the best current Bitcoin forum around. Whichever crypto forum you are on, you still need to keep your wits up high. Bitcointalk has some community built-in features to try to mitigate the risks (Trust System, quick action from admins and fellow forum members when reporting phising links, etc.), but nevertheless remember: faceless is shameless …

Yes, I agree with you that Bitcointalk is the best and popular than all the crypto forum, All of us are grateful to him for offering something to us, Many people think Bitcoin their own dreams now And it is well connected to the lives of many Because they chose Bitcoin only for their livelihood I hope its future will be much better.

Only the moon forum has some threads on it but not much of active members, when I visit there are only 3 members online that forum so which shows that bitcointalk is why a huge forum when compared to any other crypto related forum here.

We don't need these tons of forums, to be honest.
Completly agree, most important forum is where people are. Most popular forum is often most popular through years to come or even forever.
Most people? Best guides, best advices etc etc.
Its important to maintain quality of forum and this forum (bitcointalk) does this great.

The quality of forums partially comes from built-in features as you stated (Trust system) to fight against scammers, and clearly gives users signals that accounts with negative trust are not reliable to do trading, exchanging, or anything else.
Of course, human can make mistakes (me too), and they should have second chance to come back (theymos already raised his opinion about that).
However, negative trusted users always should be considered carefully before others really do directly things with them (trading, exchanging, and more things).

And, the forum has one of the strictest rule and punishment on plagiarism.
No excuse accepted, no chance to come back (nearly no chance) when plagiarisms detected.

Additionally, the feature to nuke bad guys is another good feature of the forum to protect users.

That forum was offline for very long time and when I read about that issue on bitcointalk I tend to know that the owner of that site hired wrong person to manage the bounties which cost them to be on losing side.

From the above forum you shared about, I don't think you can compare any of them with bitcointalk. They are dead forums, the gat nothing informative about crypto to offer. Their forum are dead when they have no bounty to offer to their community

with small graphical pie chart comparison.
It is not exact and super precise, butrather it was made for fan:

All other crypto forums are a joke compared to Bitcointalk forum.
People never should create accounts on other forums with same email and same password for their account in bitcointalk.org. Because owners of those fake, clone, phishing forums might steal their passwords and hack their account here.
By the way, it is worth to say that those low-quality forums have their advantages for us, like my case months ago:
Are there methods to move backwards to previous version of OPs in the forum (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5142005.0)
