Its soooo unfair..  :( like i will hold USDT for weeks at a time, and all the coins will pump!
but the day i decide to finally invest in a altcoin, it instantly turns into a blood bath!
EVERY FRIGGIN TIME

and i buy at the BOTTOM of the BOTTOM... whyyy does this always happen to me.. its totally not fair  :-[

anyways.. what do you guys think about Wabi and KMD.. do you like these coins?

I think you have to learn more, because trading and selling a coin are not just buying and selling, but seeing the future opportunities of the coin, and many of these coin events or not

That is because you might having a failure in the analysis phase of your decision. In that case, you might miss some opportunities arising from the very beginning up to now, you just need to be consistent and very much active on the crypto and the community.

I can see the mistake you make. You need to follow the advice from the senior members and take more active approach to listen to the good advice. You instead make the mistakes but it is obvious.

First OP, what was your intention in buying those coins/tokens, were you thinking of trading them or investing to hodl. If your intention was to trade then by now you should know trading isn't for you (for now) you should learn more on how to buy during the dip not when you see fake signs of green on chart. If your intention was to hodl then why're you complaining, just keep on holding until you're satisfied with the profit to sell, don't bother about the short term blood bath.

In conclusion, you need change your criteria used to choosing the altcoin you buy maybe that's the original of your problem.

It seems that your first mistake is not having a lot of patience. Or maybe you really need to understand how the market works. Of course we can't really see the where the price is going, but at least you should research the coins you wanted to invest. I'm not familiar with "Wabi and KMD", so tell you the trust I won't invest on any coins that I'm not familiar with. This is what happens in a long term bear trend even if you are thinking to buy the bottom the next move is even lower low and new bottom but personally i think that market seems to have bottomed out now and is accumulating stage ongoing now and soon we can expect reversal and start of a new bull run so do not loose hope wait for the right time.

You can't always time every pump but having a good knowledge on TA and FA helps you spot those potential crptos that's going to give you profits.

Sorry about your losses, at this point the best you should do is to hold those tokens that have dipped and wait for recovery. What i think you should do at the moment is to search for good coins and invest in them for long term. You know many people confuse this bottom of a thing a lot, for the fact a coin has bottomed does not mean that it is good to invest in, some altcoins that has already bottomed may never rise again because such project has been pumped and dumped and become a shitcoins already.

Its not greed, i was not watching the market for 2 months straight while learning day trade. When the market peaked i didn't even think about the value of my shitcoins or that I probably should cash out. I was 16-18 hours analyzing graphs to understand day trading

I just recently cashed out my funds out of the market rather than buy USDT, I think the market for now will going to get better, and as I have a time to think, I will going to change and improve my decisions to avoid my mistakes in the future. I think you were waiting for BTC to be near $1500 and it didn't happen. I also thought that it could happen. Nobody could have really predicted that the market would react like this and return like it is in a bull run. That's life. You need to be patient and not to be impulsive.

Hey buddy, don't lose hope!  :) Stay positive and never give up! Have you thought about investing in major coins like btc and eth? It has increased a lot over the past couple of weeks and if you were able to invest in them prior to that recent run that we had, you should've made profits. Also, try to look into IEO's that have huge potential, I recently invested in a cryptocollectible+AR project that sold out their first round of IEO (http://ecomi.com?utm_source=ecomilx) because they got the guy who founded Pokemon. Looks good in paper and may get me rich soon but we'll never know. And that's why you have to play smart and move along. BTW, I never liked USDT at all. It stays on its ground even though other coins are skyrocketting its prices.

100% agree, invest smart! I've invested before the run earlier and I made around almost 800+ in profits. I know it may sound small but hey, its better than staying in USDT that doesn't move at all.

As many here have said you have to have a clear plan for why you have invested in the coin you chose and if you believe in it HODL it. Keep in mind the masses are wrong on the majority of trades, this is why few make the money and many lose. Study TA and FA and maybe think about paper trading until you understand the markets a bit more.

I would say that the only reason why the market spoils me is that I have a sharpened sense of excitement.  As soon as I see that the market will grow, I want to invest more and more.  This is like a disease.

Is because you've not been that current with crypto market, before investing in a particular coin, there are particular things to consider, check the CMC predictions, follow the projects announcement regularly and see if they are developing!! Long-term investment is indeed one of the best ways to get big profits but depending on how coins can develop and also patience in waiting for the price of our coins to increase, binance is a large exchange so that most of the altcoins listed on their exchanges experience price increases or trading volumes always active.

Everyone has a problem when investing, especially when holding coins or tokens, but the price does not grow and we cannot blame Crypto for being a risk. We just need to be patient and continue to find out Crypto growth so it won't repeat the same mistakes. Don't invest if you are under pressure and invest in quality and stable coins.

Normally, buying some coins with the intention of making gains don't favor always, but if you keep experiencing same, it means you need to change your approach to trading. You mentioned buying at the bottom, probably not the bottom. Also, don't just depend on TA if you are a trader, some FA should spice up your decision. Also, don't buy shitcoins with extremely huge supply thinking it's cheap, most times the devs will dump on you. Well... you went for WABI and KMD, right? Both the coins are up during the last 2-3 months. WABI is up by some 120% and KMD is not doing that bad either. I just hope that you didn't dumped them in March. That said, you went for a couple of little known altcoins and you knew that you were taking a huge risk. Fortunately for you the things went well and you still ended up with a profit.

I would advise you to have different coins in your crypto portfolio. And Ethereum (required), and TRON, and NEO, and EOS, and Tezos, and Cardano, as well as NEM and Stellar.

I would rather go to be educated than depends solely on luck.  OP should have study the market, read news, know the market sentiment, check the projects updates etc.  He should have look for the sign if the market will be hyped or will crash.  Even if he do not understand the chart, knowing the basic fundamental of certain token or coins he is about to invest in or sell and analyze is a must.

Try to learn from your mistakes and start to analyse the projects before investing a lot of money into them. Learn how to analyse the coin movements with help of professional trading assets. The more you know,  the bigger your profit will be.

Choosing a coin must necessarily have a very good trading volume. So when the coin price drops, the coin still has the potential to go back up again. USDT is a very slow coin in its price movement. I prefer the ABYSS, ACT, LTC, ETH, and BNB coins. Some of these coins I value have a fairly high trading volume. So to generate a profit using daily trading strategy will be more profitable.

The best thing to do is to have patents and hodle when ever you are holding a token because if you follow the market trend you may sell out of panic which will not be good for you I have been in the same situation before where I always see my token moving up in price as soon as I trade them for other currencies. Sometimes to get profits out of the coins and tokens you hold you have to be patience ,I think that's what you lack ,you have to hold and keep watch on the price with app like blockfolio ,you can't predict which coin will do better or not but after making sure that the coins you invest in are good ones just hold and have patience

yup sometimes market truly unfair. before entering the market it's good to try to find out on the official coin telegram channel. what hype news in it. in usually discussing the project development and markets price, you can deduce conversations between developers and users. those conversations can be used as a hint to future market movements.
