I remember when the time when Railblock has low price during the time it was release and it has only one exchange and lots of people not noticing it but when the product already been exposed and proven working it boom like a rocket ship.


I see the same scenario will happen n Taucoin Project. At first, this one isn't noticeable but when the team shows how great it will showcase the more people began to wonder what is it all about. So many projects plan to have a mobile mining likw electroneum but failed to develop a real one that can be used on mobile phone. Now the team is getting closer to its fulfillment and Im glad that Ive been there since the beginning of their journey. All my efforts on doing the activity rewarding taucoin is becoming a fortune. Im not saying this will end up like xrb ( Now Nano) but I can see a bright future for this product. The concept is ideal and unqiue which bypass the low key of typical project.

It's only a matter of time when they release all the hardwork the team done for the past few months and I can only say it is damn worth it. Imagine this project offered already a listing by almost 10 exchanges but I think goal of the CEO isnt on that path. I remember the movie 3 idiots where the lead character has a motto. " Follow Excellence and Success will Follow you Pants Down".

Congrats in advance to the team for a well job done and I will be staying here listening to all the updates and the github notification alert for your work.  A project like this is one of the best Ive ever encountered in my entire crypto adventure.

Couples days ago you have asked me about the taucoin, is it good or bad project and i have told you that it is good project can be seen on here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4496788.20 so i have made recommended to taucoin for long term investment and now you can see that the project is really worked.

This is something very great because I can make mining using a mobile device, I myself have never tried it, if the price of TAU coins can be quite expensive then we should try because it will also be profitable.

their mobile minning just gimmick , at first they said its pure minning on phone but when it launch it just like demo from pc minning

mining crypto though mobile phone is not new anymore but i look forward for TAU to achieve its goal where others have failed although its not clear for me how they will increase the demand for TAU aside from mobile mining.

This is not the first project that can do mobile mining! There's a reason this hasn't worked so far. Charging capacity of mobile devices is problematic. When it is connected to electricity continuously, there is no mobile device. Moreover, the heat problem is another dimension of work.

I have no knowledge about TAU, but if it could overcome these problems, it might have revolutionized it.

I first heard mining mobile through electroneum and this was the second coin to hear it out.

I'm not very aware of the developments of TAUCOIN but it seems that the devs of it are very active.

If everything is as you say, so devs are successful. But I do not think people want mining through  phone. So, this will reduce the life of the phone and the mining reward will be very little.

After 4 years, 5G is there and phone will be more powerful. GB is on storage not on memory. so I believe TAU mining will be still little impact on a phone.

This like electroneum project but now we see the price of electroneum is so low,  they have good feedback in the beginning but now their perform is decrease. I hope Taucoin not follow electroneum's step. Can you please include telegram link to taucoin project. Thanks

ETN are not doing real mining, it's simulation mining of its own kind.

TAU is doing real mining and all mobile wallet owners can be fully miners as they wish.

all current crypto mining barrier is too high technically.

TAU mining focus on most pervassive device - Mobile phones (and they will start with Android devices), this will help to reduce the entry barrier.

imagine run eth, eos or cardano nodes? those are nightmare even for a fully funded company.

Btw, TAU seem not to compete and compare with any crypto project, they need to stand on their own direction under Server less Network Computing, we can see more of new techs about this project although Blockchain itself isn't new, but proof of transaction (POT) is for sure a new thing in crypto space. Electroneum has been Mining on mobile. Some other new projects before taucoin has been doing the same and we know that this is not an actual Mining. The mobile users are just. Stimulating. Taucoin is yet to know what I want to be known for. I don't think taucoin will go far

Mobile mining is just a simulator that doesn't really do mining and it's just a marketing strategy to increase the community's interest in cryptocurrency. Previously, I had tried mining applications that actually did mining but it was not profitable and made smart phones hot. maybe Stellite (XTL) is one of them

Don't worry about the thread because the most important is the fundamental of aspects taucoin is good, just some people who think about it and they never share about it to other people. Mostly people just think about the price of cryptocurrencies should they learn more about trading not investing in the ICOs it is something different subject.

I also want to know if this is a simulation only,  like what they do on Electroneum I'm glad that they do airdrop and not an ICO hopefully without KYC, so far there is a notification that they will do KYC, I just got my referral link hopefully I can earn from referring my friends.

It's been a while since Ive heard again from Taucoin. Looks like they really work hard for the tau mobile mining. As I see the image via phone. I know this project 2 months since they started and now they are close to what they want. I think lots of money used here by the CEO but everything will be worth it if this will be successful. They are offering 100 TAUCOIN referral bonus, but they are still in a testnet, so whatever bonus you'll get you should wait to get it transfer to mainnet, this coin has a good potential, considering that they are using their own funds to develop this project, I'm also looking forward to mine this coin if it is profitable to do so.

Havent heard about Taucoin. What is the main diffrence between Taucoin and Electroneum and why should it works when we know that Electroneum mining on mobile phones wasn't as successful as we thought that it would be.

I really had forgotten I had some taucoins back then. Are they now listed on any exchanges?
I remember they failed to start an exchange a multiple of time and many people just dumped their coins.
If they are still not on an exchange than what's the use of mining?

Projects with working products tend to succeed better and faster than projects that have none or stay on just MVP.
I have also known TAU coin for quite some time and I have known it would succeed.

I have heard a little about this project, but in general I think that any project that has very large opportunities in today's market, regardless of the fact that today cryptocurrency prices are terribly small, I think that all this will be very, very profitable in the future.

This project has been so silent in the last few months since it has started and it seems that the Foundation has decided to keep their spending on a personal level. They are really into the tech and not into that hype and pump and dump thing.

Maybe because TAU has no ICO. 82% of the total supply will be distributed to the community by meas of bounty, airdrops, rreferral bonus and others of the same kind. With more than 5% circulating supply at the present, the total 18% for the team is not yet touched as per the Founder.

So much is happening now in the TAU space including TauWork ( Where one can get services online worldwide with TAU as payment), TAU P2P trading and consensus bounty where the focus is towards the community.     

I have participated on this project before which on thier discord group but i became not interested on it because of the value. And until now it seems still no improvement , even though the team behind really put an efforts for the progress , since before .. I hope now this new features of taucoin can help to gain mass adoption in the future so that taucoin holder will become have motivation on it.

I have more than 200k TAUCOIN in App but Mining is not started yet , i think in coming days will start full mobile mining than we can mine and i hope will be best coin in 2019.

Little do I know about the project.  But now that you posted it. Taucoin Mobile Mining as 2019 crypto project has not do much . If there's a good roadmap and active team I think it's something that should really be known on the forum. I think the best thing is for teams to look into it and tackle the issues around it.

Login application is not working anymore and it's been going on for a week now, every time I hit the facebook icon to connect my account I cannot log in I am promoting this and already had referrals, not I cannot access my free coins anymore.

Yes the scenario happened when they were updating the web wallet to deal with hacking incident happened over the past 3 weeks, now everything works fine and all users access their coins with no obstruction.

Also during same same time, Facebook blocked the taucoin URL, at the time of writing the issue is now resolved about few weeks ago and all Facebook registrants on TAU website can access their coins freely.

TAU and TAUT are two different coins each having its own Blockchain but all run u Dee same consensus, proof or transaction (POT), which is normal I think

I want to know more about this coin, when is mined with mobile phone is mined virtual like Electroneum was mined, or is mined with phone CPU and phone is turning hot when miner running?

I participated in the bounty campaign of this project and my tokens were stolen right from my wallet. The administrator of the chat answered me that they didn’t accept complaints about the theft of coins from wallets.  ;D ;D

For sire, if you allowed anyone to access your PK, then you are responsible for the theft. If not, all coins were issued back from mobile to web wallet. Otherwise you can follow below procedures to claim back your coins (only if you were one amongst those transferred web wallet pk to mobile wallet).

Mining Tau is not like mining bitcoin (or ETN), it was even called harvesting rather than mining. It's indeed CPU power isn't really relevant, that's why it will be possible to "mine" Tau on mobile devices.

When mining with PoW coins such as btc or etn, one needs a powerful computer so that computation of the puzzle would be necessarily easy. In Taucoin, you dont need a powerful rig that needs advancement and upgrade in time. You only need to have transactions, hence the consensus mechanism is Proof of Transaction. The more transaction you have on chain, the greater chance to mine the next block and "harvest" the tx fees on it. On latest update, 1tx is just 194 bytes ( correct me here if im wrong) so the whole 24hrs of the proposed mobile mining would only cost the miner around 4 - 5mb of power, mainly because, tau is using your transactional mining power to harvest the next block.

The wallet app you downloaded is for TAUT coin which can only be mined via PC and I  gave instructions just above this our posts.

TAUcoin mining app is not out and can't be found in any online store, its all under development and it will come out before or during mainnet time. No one recently have successful mined TAU except only Devteam are doing internal testing.

So, to start mining TAU should wait till 25 this month :D

The topic of mobile mining has been quite relevant for a long time already and even many projects wanted to implement such an idea, but soon everything stopped and for the fact that not all mobile devices can be mined and there is a need to solve the problem of mining complexity, I hope this project will succeed.

One the 2nd day of mobile mining turning on, we have got 1400 miners.
In the crypto world, not many people having experiences of true mining which is verifying transaction on global blockchain. I think we did it in taucoin.
We decided to start with slow main-net speed to make sure it is stable. Then we will implement ipfs sharding on it.

Wow. I nearly forgot about taucoin. I thought the project was dead. I had some taucoin from a bounty and the initial mobile wallet did nothing.
Glad to hear mobile mining has been started. I'd go and give it a try. I believe the future is for mobile based tokens.

It is a good offer and aside from other it is good mining. But for me it is not practical and high cost opeation but you can only earn only for very small amount of money. Make sense if you do mining as a main source of income I think you will not be successful. Don't be seduct in a very light job just perform other crypto activity such as trading and bounty.

In TAU mobile mining, there are two types of block reward: 1. mining reward which gives to block winner. 2. trx participation reward which gives to the address cause the trx sender balance. this will changes to sharding reward in the future.
Therefore, the tau mobile reward is not concentrating to block winners, but everyone perform work making trx and sharding and mining.

What would happen to those with low mining power yet the app miner is still on. Won't he get the credit even a little for just opening his app for a long time. It seems the low-mining-power miner will be ignored.

You have to apparently send a transaction and then use those coins to increase mining then you can mine. I see no option but I am still waiting for the airdrop transaction to go through.
The app doesn't have an interface like the one shown so I am confused. It doesn't look the screenshots on google play.

Could someone explain to me how mobile mining could work? I understand it technically, but if everyone could mine on his mobile phone, who will then buy it? Similiar problem has Electroneum, after a short hype it is now a dead coin.

It doesn't seem to work. You need to get the airdrop so you can have a transaction then you must spend it on mining power and then begin mining. The problem is none of these options are there like they show on the google store screenshots. Nothing is explained either. I think this is just a waste of time. I was excited about it but not anymore.
