I was happy to see that bitcoin has made a good market price pump up. This is what investors are looking at and hoping that it will going to continue on having this kind of movement. Mind you that it will just take a few months tp get an ATH once again with bitcoin.

Who among you here feels the same way after seeing the recent good news with bitcoin market price increase?

I am very much excited after this market bullish movement I was been away from crypto market quite a while after recent move I came to forum what exact reason for market movement . I dint find any proper reason I think after financial year people started to invest back in crypto currency.

I am getting excited seeing Bitcoin reaching and breaking $5k price.  It has been too long for a bear market so those who are hoping (including me) for a bull market to rally are surely happy with the market performance.

Kudos, to that guy or group that bought 20k Bitcoin to at least initiate the possible Bitcoin Bull run.

sorry to disappoint you but unlike what you obviously think about bitcoin, it really isn't some pump and dump scheme that can go up to its ATH which would mean a 566% rise in "a few months" just because you got excited seeing a small rise which was more like the correction of an undervalued price as a result of a big drop last year thanks to BCH fork drama and FUD.

All this while persevering and praying to get over the boredom and stagnancy of the market.
I almost got frustrated around February and middle march when the value kept deteriorating.  >:( it wasn't easy but we tried encouraging ourselve. Now, I feel happy.

Who wouldn't? Seeing that their assets are worth more than what they initially bought, and knowing that some people who are stuck with their coins actually have seen some movement after a few months. While I'm elated that some strong bullish movement had been established in the past few days, I'm still somewhat wary that this might be a sharp push only to be met with an even sharper decline, just like what happened in the past few runs--though the signs are not showing yet. Order books are still in favor of the bulls, and we might be targeting $5500 within the next few days if the said rhythm and tempo is maintained.

Of course, I'm sure that everyone is really happy and excited to see the price of Bitcoin going as high as $5000 and then settled at $4900. We have been waiting to see the price make a rally and at least to move 'further' away from it's last all-time-high ($31xx). So now we need to see if the price could be sustained or get over $5000-$5200 and see how it goes. The momentum had stop, but I'm sure when it gained some steam again it will roll out in the next 24 hours.

Yes, this movement was expected for a long time. Although we need more increase to overcome the unknown, this increase made us laugh. If we can easily pass 5k, there is no big obstacle. Then we can reach the price before last big decrease.

Every trader is happy now that bitcoin has finally gained some price and the bearish market is over since 2017. But if you are HODL this means nothing to you since you are just waiting for a reasonable price that fits you before you can gain profit.

all crypto currency users are very happy to see the bitcoin price movements that have increased over the past 2 days and remain at the position of 4999 dollars per coin. this has greatly improved market conditions and has an impact on the altcoin price which has also improved. many users feel a little relieved because the price of bitcoin has remained the lowest level long enough. hopefully crypto prices will continue to soar.

It wont be that easy to get hit its ATH again in few months. I have to admit that many people (including me) are waiting for that time but we should be more realistic. Lets just enjoy what we have now, as long as we are making profit for any movement then it is enough imho.

Well after a substantial increase in the price a lot of people will jump in for sure, to try to benefit from a further increase which might make it rise in price more in the next weeks and months.

And this is definitely one of the tricky things with trading, will it go up or down? Seems like it will go up, right? It was about time, right? If so, until when?

Ofc people are excited, every Bitcoin holder increased his savings by 1/4 just during a single day. That's  a good reason to be happy. But if something got about 25% growth it doesn't mean that it will keep growing with the same speed and renew ATH. It seems like many people just decided that 4k was a bottom price and decided to get back.

Finally, the bearish market has finally been put to death by the current market price, and this call for celebration among Bitcoin enthusiast. Personally, am happy to see the rise in Bitcoin price; to encourage the holders and trader in the crypto-world. Am happy for my long term hold.

Just pointed out to some people that has underestimated the movement bitcoin price and also for them who reputed bitcoin or cryptocurrency has no future. In this rally I think there are many people who feel lament because they didn't buy bitcoin at the price $3700 or even they are still somewhat have a bit sure that bitcoin will up. And for those people who buy bitcoin at the price of $3700 I'll say congratulations because they have got profit approx $1200 just a few days.

This is what I'm expecting happen on crypto and it's really happen.
For me,it's not surprise anymore instead I believe it will continue growing until a few years ahead.

its a good feeling after so many hopes, expectation and patience for the 4000$ barrier to be broken and now it has been broken and everwyhere is frenzy and people are happy. i still think probably the introduction of IEO(initial exchange offering) could be part of the cause of the BTC uptrend. and also i feel the majority of people are tired of the price fall, red days and dosent want to sell low any longer. hence, it seems the price fall days are over and the fomo days will soon begins.

That seems more realistic. Bitcoin had a stable barrier of $6k which it gave up because of Craig Wright. It is likely to be a positive correction, so months is probably not enough for Bitcoin to hit ATH. However, it would still be awesome IMO to see Bitcoin overcoming the terrible state and stabilizing under previously held positions of 6k-7k.
And what really gives hope is very signiy growth of trading volume over the course of a month or so! That is, of course, if the volume is accurately reported.

Although I am very happy with the growth of the market, but I still keep a very cautious attitude towards this sudden increase, it makes me feel insecure. I watch carefully how the market will move in the next few days, because I can't find any news for this sudden growth. But I really hope this is a start for a new growth cycle of Bitcoin, we have waited too long to see the market bull again strong.

The rise in the price of bitcoin a kind of reassures my belief that cryptocurrency has come to stay.
It is a positive development and it's also happening at the right time.
All hope is not lost with cryptocurrency .

I'm glad that this is happening. The market is starting to move up and it is starting to show a promising bull run. But I doubt that we would be able to reach an all-time high in just a few months. Remember that one of the reason the price surge so high was because of the shilling of altcoins and those scam schemes which got into a lot of people, bitcoiners and casual alike. We are going to reach some high price but I doubt it will be all-time high.

Yes everyone are excited to have more bitcoin's price increase more that 5000usd or almost 250,000 php even it is almost an 25% of the highest price last december 2017 all of us are hoping and expecting that it will happen again. Many people are now start to invest again and I think it is a right time to invest and great time to perform trading.

And since everyone is excited that Bitcoin's price is rising, many investors are now buying Bitcoin. In short, they got FOMO'ed.

I'm happy that it went up to 5k per Bitcoin but I don't think this will continue in the next days. I expect for a correction and after that lets see what will be the movement of it. Bitcoin's price is rising because many new investors got FOMO'ed believe me :).

I thought it will not move up anymore, just saw it in my social feeds I thought my friend was joking and check it out and it's true, but I still doubt if it is going to reach $7000 before the end of first quarter, now let's crossed our fingers that we are going to experience another all-time high.

It's like a really bright point to enter. As for a few of other people, there is still a little less confidence because many times it has often decreased after pumping, in my opinion it will move significantly after far exceeding $5k/until it passes $6k. Well it's good we assume positively on everything that happens at moving prices and its development in the world about its popularity

I hope it will continue to climb and never look back again until the end of the year if this happens we can see another ath in the next year for sure and I believe those who left crypto for the moment to skip this bear market will came back into crypto again and participate again in crypto activities, ieo, trading etc, we can confirm this when the btc volume transactions keep rising everyday.  

Of course all of us are happy on what is happening right now but I dont think that this will continue and an ATH again but I still hope so, I just dont want to expect things that will disappoint me if the things I want didnt happen.

Wow! There's still people who think the "right" time to invest is when the prices go up  ::) A smart investor would've taken advantage of the bear market and bought at the mid 3k's levels. By investing right now, you'be giving in to FOMO, and what if there's a sudden correction later today and we go back to 4k? You would've made a terrible decision by buying at 5k.

Q1 ended with the price at 4.1k. Q2 (April, May, June) started with the price shooting up from 4.1k to almost 5k, so it's safe to assume that if the trend continues (even though it's too early to say if this is even a trend) we should be testing 7k in this quarter or at least around Q3, but that's me being extremely bullish.

The price increase makes me more confident that crypto is the future, and I will say goodbye to the bear market. Crypto has hope and those who continue to hold will get better financial coinditions in the future.

If it does continue the path that it is taking right now then it would only take few months before we hit another ATH.
But I think it is better to have it much more slower to build more support and attract new investors.
If it would continue to pump I fear that we would only repeat the history like we would be back at 2017 and the next year we would see another huge dump.

Well said, but we're not in a state to assure the growth. The same form of growth could help with the market reach more than $10000 at least by the starting of the falling year. If the market goes on as predicted can expect the price to be at a new all time high by the time of halving.

I think it's normal after last year's fall, many people are waiting for the pump. and now it's time to happen. so many think this is the right time to enter the market after yesterday's defeat. I see this as an opportunity to return my lost money. so maybe a lot of people think the same as me.

Everyone in crypto sphere is indeed happy with the current BTC price. It is the ATH of the current year and has given hope to those people who bought at the highest peak.
Probably the price will go for a correction as it is raised too fast and cryptonians should not get panic as it is very normal for the price correction to happen.

Easy to say few months. Any rough estimate on how many more months before bitcoin reaches new ATH?
I also feel good seeing bitcoin breaking those walls and going pass $5K in a short time but let's not get too much excited about it reaching $20K again. I still believe it'll take more or less 20 months before BTC goes to that level.

I am happy with this increase which means I have gotten a fortunes if all of my bitcoins are sold today. But going up and down for me is a normal thing and I don't respond with an uproar. Prices can go up and down in a relatively short time. I might sell part of it and leave a portion of it in case the uptrend continues. But if the price will be down, at least there is already capital to increase the number of my investment.


I don't think that this increase is a sign for the next ATH. Lets just wait and see and keep supporting bitcoin!

I would not say i am excited but rather positively stated that everything i read and predicted was achieved.

From my perspective i believe it will still keep growing till a certain price (till the buyers decide to not buy anymore ofc).

If being days, months, years we don't know, you can only speculate. But pherhaps we will see price rise in the upcoming days.

Who wouldn't be so excited about that after a long time of waiting for the Bitcoin to move up, it is now growing while exceeded the price prediction after breaking the resistance. We will just have to cherish this moment and hope that people would not bring it back down. The volatility of Bitcoin is very unpredictable that I thought it would go drown itself after hitting the bottom.

Last day rise in Bitcoin price may be considered as a sign of the exit from the bear period. But we must not think that the market will constantly rise, there will be corrections Bitcoin's price.

Although we are far away from ATH price of bitcoin, this movement is very important. Because bitcoin shows that it is still profitable and you can gain money if you stay in patience for right price to sell.

This is just the first two days of probably a 2+ year bull run. I wouldn't expect it to hit the ATH until 2021 to be honest, at which point it will start exploding. That guy needs to look back at the last market cycle, over the long term from late 2015 through April 2016 it was slow growth 5x'ing during those 18 months. Ain't nothing crazy going to happen in just a few months.

I'd expect the rest of this year to be gaining back to the kind of price it was at before things went nuts in dec 2017, so maybe $10k or close to it by the end of this year. 2020 maybe getting back to ATH by end of the year. I'd say a year and a half at least to get back to $20k, and wouldn't be surprised if it took closer to 2 years.

Then again this bear market took 2 months less time than the last one, and this bottom took 4.5 months less. So the whole crash + bottom took only 70-75% the time that the last one did, so if we apply that to 18 months it took from the start of the last bull run to just before it started booming in spring of 2017 (and granted it hit the old ATH of ~1150 a couple months earlier than that) then that suggests we could see $20k in the Spring of 2020. So basically I think we'll hit $20k again in 12-24 months. Anyway, we'll see ;p

Maybe a lot of people already bought when bitcoin price reach lowest. And then this is what they wait until now. At least even not like in 2017, maybe a lot of people already take profit from it and can hold more for next level price.

Of course a lot of people are excited they have been waiting for the rising long time ago, this will give a positive trigger for investors to put in more money, but need to be careful that this another pump and dump scene, its better to stay calm and see the progress in the next few days, don't get overexcited

Exactly. Majority have left because they got bored and burned out in this market. But there are also investors who chooses to stay and they are the one who is excited to see the price increasing day by day so I guess it's just a normal reaction for everyone here, specially holders alike.

So we need to relax a bit as well, Yes, it touches $5k, obviously we wanted another run but it seems the price has established around that price.

I am sure that people can do that because they know that the bitcoin price will be back to the higher price so they can use the opportunity to buy bitcoin in a few months ago. So now, they are making a lot of money by selling some bitcoin, and I am sure that they want to see the price to go down so they can buy more and more.

I just found some information that says there are some person that buy bitcoin with the large amount. Maybe the price up it could be caused by that, but I don't think this price increase will happen for a while since there are many investors who come back and start investing again. And the price bitcoin still stand on the price $5000 and many possibilities its price will rise again.

its not a good idea to wish for the price to drop because people have always been waiting for the price to pump and not all are investors  . not all will be buying when the price of bitcoin dumps  . why cant you just hold and wait for more price increases so that you can sell your coins at a much higher value instead of wishing for the coins to dump ? @op  not just excited but verry happy as well  because this moment only strike once  so why stop your self ?

I also do expected the price of the Bitcoin to remain around $4k levels actually, but I am very optimistic that it may never witness $4200 again the moment it crossed $5000, so if bitcoin will bounce back, it will surely reach $7k before forging ahead to retest some pull-back and finally move to the next target which I believe would be $10k before the end of May. Just like many people are saying, we must all collectively see to it that BTC retains its value by constantly making use of it for our transactions.

You are wildly optimistic regarding the bull run by the end of May. But it is not realistic imo, May is already here. We can hope that it may hit $10k by the end of this year.
However, if the price stays around $5k or reaches to $6k by the end of May then I believe it will be great... The main thing we need strong support on those positions.

Just likely we almost reach into $5k, its a few more steps but seems to be a struggle by then.
Now, we came into the point that the market shows aggressiveness and it good thing to know that we have a huge support from the community and from investors. Aren't quite that whales are playing the market around cause I don't feel any hypes happen in this days. May this uptrend motion will be the result of not selling our coins in cheap and continue to soar. 

Last time we went up like this we hit 20k, I am not saying we will hit it again but it is certainly in the play, it all depends on how long we can further this increase, we do not even need buyers anymore, there are enough buyers out there right now, we only need to make sure the sellers are not selling at low prices and that is it.

If all sellers withdraw their orders and just say "we won't sell under 20k" than it means price hits 20k in a second, that is why the sellers are the more important party here, as long as they do not sell for cheap and just decide to put their orders at higher prices we will continue increasing in the price. And in order to make sure they do not sell for cheap we need to make sure they believe bitcoin is going up. Keep the hype going and we will move further without a stop.

I think will take some time again until bitcoin will go to 6000$, but is very good that now bitocin grow and this can be a sign that crypto is again on and more people will come and buy now until price is still cheap in my opinion.

It will take time, but bitcoin price will get to that point. Today prices are red, I sold some bitcoins yesterday and now I will wait for good buying opportunity. For now bitcoin is doing quite well, this little rise bring a lot of positive energy, to some of us little profit too. Maybe we will see 6k after the summer, who knows, I don`t think too much about it, I just follow the trend.

LOL Bitcon price will not go to old ATH in few months. That will not happen in 2019 and most likely not even in 2020. Mid 2021 is most possible date for that on my opinion.

yes this incident makes everyone who is in the cryptocurrency smiling and excited again, because they are waiting for this time is too long, and this is the time for us to return to the market. I hope this increase will continue to occur in the coming months.

I hope this is not just one of those terrible manipulations that characterize this unstable market. At least there are already several rumors that prices have overreacted to the strong acquisition of bitcoins that have made some exchanges almost simultaneously in recent days. If this is true, it is expected that this unexpected increase will last very little and in the next days we will see bitcoin recover its previous level around $4,000.

So staying calm now, what exactly do we stay calm for, is it that we stay calm before investing more and wait for few more days to see if bitcoin will continue of this trend or reverse back to the old price because right now, many of us are still out there interested in investing more but we are a bit confused on when to do so, do we just buy now or we stay calm to see the price direction again before buying, and you know, we still need to be careful not to panic buy so that we don’t end up buying when the price becomes high again.

So, if your advice here is that we should stay calm first before jumping into investment, what price will determine when we should stop being calm?

I'm not sure on what basis you've concluded that the price will grow reaching the previous all time high by 2021. From my view what we have been experiencing is the positive price trend, and it is the initial level of growth for the upcoming halving which is scheduled to take place by the middle of the year 2020. By that time it is hard to provide steep rise, and to that now onwards can expect gradual growth of bitcoin.

I was surprised honestly that a sudden "pump" happen after a long dominance of the bear.

Although I don't expected it to truly goes upward without any obstacles. I didn't even expected it as bullish run since it's too early to state it. Want to see what will happen next before considering the recent price increase as bullish.

More importantly, this pump spoiled most of the speculation that bitcoin price will hit it's low @ $2,000+. Well then, we all don't know what will happen next so just be ready on whatever scenarios.

Happiness is only for people who are holders of Bitcoin in my opinion because it is a disadvantage for those who are just coming into crypto currency market at this point that the market has move from around $3000 to now above $4900.

It seems that bitcoin has strong support in $4800-$5000 range last 2 days.
In my opinion, if it hodls there for a few days then we may see a new high, if not then probably the price will fall to $4200-$4400 range.

It's not a disadvantage dude. If you really are determined to hold bitcoin, 5k is still a very good entry point. There's not much difference from the price a week ago. If you're looking long term, 5k is still a very cheap price to get in.

It reached the 5k USD but still not a continuing growth. I think this is not a bull run. It's just a trend in which it goes up because of the 7000 BTC orders in three exchanges. But, if you will base on the news on what's happening on twitter, they say that this is just the beginning.

It reached this price because of the big pump, and I think it will stay here as it's stable price.

I haven't seen this pump for awhile so I am very excited about what happen, it has not dump yet and therefore I strongly believe we are going to witness a next increase of price. I am very optimistic and I'm thinking $10,000 is doable for the first half of the year.

Currently I don't believe in a new bull run either, but I was surprised by the rise in prices. I thought it would take even longer for it to happen. Nevertheless I am glad about the fact that the prices also rose again times. The eternal downward trend has not been beautiful.  ;)

Just what happened in last 2 cycles. Copy/paste projection to this cycle. Of course I can miss months or even quarters. But I expect fro my prediction to be correct and fulfill.  

Gradual growth of Bitcoin will start in few months time. But this growth will really be gradual. Hype will start only in 2021 after we reach $20k Bitcoin.

We are all happy the see Bitcoin in this kind of trend again because we saw this type in the year 2017 so would one not be Happy about the market increase for it is good to have money coming into your wallet or bank account for those who use to convert theirs to faith currency.

Would prefer the gradual way rather than seeing again some hard pumps but gradual increase doesn't guaranteed on not to have a sudden dump.
All do still have the possibility or tendency on fast decline but we can preferably say that established or strong foundation
cant really make the price dump hard again to those low levels.We are holding on a better level price as of this moment and heading for recovery.

It's good to have positive vibe, that is true, but don't get too excited. It's still too early to call current price correction a trend and it's hard to predict if it will last. But it's good opportunity for trading so make a profit while you can.

Dont know who is so excited of 5k usd. I will be exitid wheb the price will return to January 2018

Dec-2018 to Jan-2019 the price was around 3100$-3300$ afair and now the price has increased by almost $2000. Don't you see the excitement?
If you want the price of January 2018 then your excitement will come after a long time. Maybe by or after 2020!

2000 usd price increase doesnt excite me, because I know that it could be 20k.
The whole situations is still sad.

If you are analysing the pump in price in the past and if you incorporate those rallies and compare it with the present situation, you will not get much data regarding it as the market itself is less than ten years old and hence we cannot come up with a conclusion on how the market will react by looking at the past market situation. I am not expecting any big rallies at this time, but we might see these kind of spikes in price.

Yeah, that is just a $5k but after a long wait, you get to see the price on uptrend again, of course you'll get excited again because you think the bearish run seems over and the price is now back on uptrend. It's not about how high the price but it's the situation, breaking the barrier, etc.

I'm happy to see the market like this but of course we can't  aside to think that there's some scared to bull trap. Let's still observe the market how it goes. But of course I want to see the new ATH.

I dont want to hear the words 'everyone'      All people on one side of the boat is not a stable situation, we need at least some in doubt and that might be the case.   I'm thinking a pull back is going to be bullish because it restores that balance to the price.
Ironic but shake some weak longs, weak hands into a bit of a sell and then it might get closer to 6k in an orderly way

It becomes normal when the price of bitcoin moves higher and makes people more eager to make a profit, it becomes a positive condition to make investors come to crypto.

The price reaching above $5k is truly an excitement, but how long this excitement continues is a big thing. Now the price has been stabilizing without much growth over the last few days of time. Possibly this time further price predictions have come stating that the price will reach the next price barrier of $6000 before the ongoing month end.

The truth is the past is all we've got. It's the only leverage to hold on to since like you said its less than a decade. But if anything the op's right about being happy about the recent pump. Still, I would have preferred a long term steady rise to give the rouse of a mimicking of the capital market, that might build more trust.

Excited because the market was boring for months and no new positive signal. I don't know if we can say that the bear trend is currently finished, I prefer to wait a few more days. Also, the last time Bitcoin did the same, it fell even lower than what we already thought was the bottom limit. So better to take this recent rise with a grain of salt.

Everyone here feels the same. This huge pump happening nakes out trading more profitable. Seems that this bull will gonna stay a little longer. As long as the whales will not do the action and will not manipulate the market, then it will be happy days for us.

And now a big mental barrier has been broken again, $5200. I do hope that this rally will continue at least we should go back to the $6k-$6500 range, because that's the price we have in the last couple of months prior to the massive sell-off in November. Who knows, maybe the price could go to $8k, so let's all hope for the best.

If BTC can sustain to grow $20-$50 per day in price we can atleast expect $6000 - $6,500.

Comparing the volume last 2017 and  the current volume today we should be on the $8,000 price by now.

We have gained such good momentum at this time, April is indeed beautiful. Previously there were many who predicted that this month there would be a significant increase and that was true. I am increasingly enthusiastic in trading because I can get a bigger profit when the price of Bitcoin increases. This is good momentum, but I am still very confident that the price of Bitcoin will again experience improvement, so prepare capital and buy as much Bitcoin as we can.

We were fooled by such movements as this before that's right and i think we should've learned our lessons now. Getting too excited makes us lax and careless and we're too careless, i think another market turnaround would be a bigger disappointment. I don't make much of a big deal out of this upward movement though it's really nice to see it like thus after being down for so long.

This Bull we are seeing is a mirage compared to what the main bull has in store for us, so this baby bull will still last longer in the market,  even though some might choose to sell off their coin at some certain stages of the value but will not stop the market from reaching its ATH 2019/2010, and for the whales, we have to also be ready for them and play along with them.

But for now, I think we also have more real investors than the whales, the bitcoin demand is not much of a concentration from one region but from many regions and individuals, and I think this stage we are now are still being seeing as accumulation stage by the whales.

It was a big relief seeing the bitcoin market pumped above $5K after a prolonged and ranging mode between $3K5+ and other cryptos too, there was FUD among newbies who believed that the price will never recover having experienced the sudden dump from $19K+ in 2017 to a lower low of $3K+ I believed the bullish movement will be sustained although we might experience a minor pullback however the future outlook of bitcoin looks bright considering the upcoming positive fundamental news which will encourage more investors to come on board.

I feel when the bitcoin finally reached again $5000 and those excitement already happen and everyone will glad last few dyas bitcoin reached that value. Im shock last few days because bitcoin reached first $4000 and after that it reached $5000 that can makes feel me more excitement in the next coming weeks and months.

For long-term investors, who are not concerned about the price of BTC now but that of future, I don’t see any disappointment bitcoin turnaround will cause them, like you said, we should not get too excited, there will always be upward and downward trend of price, it depends on the forces willing at that time, whether that of BUY or SELL, for now BUY community are quite stronger than its opposite, the next direction of price depends on the patience of sell community.
