Yobit is probably the shadiest exchange operating right now.

A quick search show this:
I thought everybody knew that already?

Yobit scam ? Trade lost money (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4319301)
Yobit SCAM - SYSCOIN withdrawal (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3948962)
 1000+ ETH blocked: Yobit.net won't explain or resolve (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3636433.0)
YOBIT scam - class action law suit (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3109307.0)
YoBit seems wants to steal my money. Are they scammed? (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3893592)
Scam market YObit.net and YObit.io (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3659923)
Yobit.Net Scamming My Deposit (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3307444.0)

And many more...

The only thing you can do is keep trying to get an answer from them. They have no reputation to maintain, so you can only hope they have the good faith to help you out.

Did you ever receive a deposit on your Yobit BTC address? If yes, did you make any order to buy any altcoin or you just plan to run BTC investment on his investbox?

there are many complaints about them, obviously, they are fraudsters. here should be taken as soon as something to remove this scam.

As @TryNinja gives some related thread about yobit I have some suggestions for you. First, if you come to this forum don't hesitate to explore this forum because it will give a lot of new knowledge/an understanding for you about cryptocurrency either about an exchange (include legit exchange and scams exchange) and another information related to cryptocurrency.

Second, when I saw you history post you make thread or a comment on your local board although in the beggining you made this account you wrote one thread on economy section, I could say it is not prohibited but you will have s little knowledge about cryptocurrency which can prove as you have been feeling now.

Third, you have to find some information about an exchange before you make deposit, to find reputable exchange we can't look at the oldest an exchange side, it isn't guarantee. There are some new exchange who has trusted from many users such as binance and other which can you used. I will be hard to believe that your bitcoin will send back by yobit teams since there are many people who has been feeling like you.

There have been so many complaints about Yobit, and that for years now, that people have to ask themselves who scams who here. If you send funds to an exchange that's super shady, you're playing Russian roulette with your funds, period.

Sure, it sucks hard that OP lost money, but come on, it's known that exchanges like Yobit thrive on people they keep ignoring in the hope that they finally drop their case and accept their loss. They do this to tens of thousands of people, where most of the amounts concerned are too insignificant for people to publicly complain about, so the number of victims is orders of magnitude higher than the number of complains on internet.

Seems you have been waiting for a long time, haven't you tried to contact Yobit on this forum? This is their profile link and last time they were active was 28 February: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=406594
You could try opening accusation thread here but they rarely login on bitcointalk, well, try to PM him. Also still tey and send emails, at least if nothing, you tried your best.
But please don't you know that exchange that lists dead coins won't be good? Nothing to talk about some research around it.

I very much doubt Yobit's going to respond to any scam accusations put against them as the account representing YoBit seems to only be posting for announcements related to the site judging by the account's post history. As others around here have already said, YoBit's known around here for bad reasons. The site support's extremely sluggish and we can't do much for you here.

The sooner YoBit's gone, the better, but the exchange seems to survive predating on newer people to cryptocurrency that aren't aware of the exchange's bad reputation. YoBit was bad when I started trading in early 2015 and they are still a bad exchange.

They have something they call "Investbox" where it is possible to make money without doing anything. Unreal percent of profit and attracts greed to "easy" money. That will always be.

First, the mistake you have done is on why you have considered yobit exchange to put up your money?

You didnt make any research first before putting up money because if you did try to look up for some info about them

then you will surely not proceed on.Regarding on your issue, you are already on the waiting game because yobit

support doesnt answer or rarely answer tickets or queries.

If you are going to invest around almost 1 BTC on an exchange to trade, you should have given at least a little bit of effort to know more about the exchange. Just a "YoBit Scam" google would have given you enough reasons to give a second thought about the exchange. Unfortunately, YoBit has the shittiest customer support. So good luck trying to contact them and getting a valid response. Chance are you lost (read got scammed) your coins forever.  :(

Dig up your old deposit/withdrawal history if you can, and include the txids of your deposits/withdrawals.

Without proof, I doubt that yobit support will bat an eye at this case, though they're likely not going to respond in any helpful way even if you do have proof. Just saying that the amount vanished from your account is simply not enough to hold them accountable.

Also, make your case clearer - did you have your funds in investbox, or did you have it in your BTC balance when it disappeared?

Just so that you know in the future though, this kind of scam doesn't come as a surprise to anyone. The whole InvestBox concept is extremely sketchy, since it's basically offering ponzi-like returns. And yobit is renowned for their support, in a negative way.

You will have very tough luck trying to regain those coins, there are so many complaints about Yobit and those complaints are not yet resolved until this time, in the first place do you know the reputation of Yobit, they are so notorious, that people should not even think of trading there.

It doesn't matter how many times you ran into problems using Yobit, the result is still that they pulled off a shady cheat. If there are no records of anything, and the funds vanished, it's safe to say that Yobit either purposely wiped out your balance, or there is a bug on their end being responsible for this.

Another possibility is that you invested in an altcoin and Yobit delisted it without you knowing, which usually means that it wipes out everything related to that specific altcoin and there is no way to get it back.

yobit is the worst exchange that exists in the crypto world. I do not understand how it is possible that to date they have not arrested the owner of yobit and the police authorities have not closed yobit. It's been years since this exchange of shit has been harming people. And why the hell do people continue to use yoshit? I do not understand why people continue to use yoshit? why continue to list currencies in yoshit? the problem of the crypto world is that people close their eyes to what is right and wrong

If yobit is indeed a scam, information like this should always be disclosed in every thread related to all exchanges in crypto, so that no more people get caught in fraud. surely the yobit will naturally close if all do not join there, without the need to report to the authorities. only that method is more reliable.
we should also give responsibility so that no more people are deceived.

Your issue will be added to the very long list of traders that have been scammed by investors, Yobit has been scamming traders for the last three years, why are you not researching, it's your fault that you are scammed, it's a hard lesson for you.

If?

they are known as scam exchange for years

information like this should always be disclosed in every thread related to all exchanges in crypto, so that no more people get caught in fraud.

Most people have laziness to go to google and do some research, for example if someone goes to google and write: "yobit scam" will show the following result:

https://www.google.com/search?source=hp&ei=tarIXKGWEKvBlwSf9oiIBQ&q=yobit+scam&btnK=Pesquisa+Google&oq=yobit+scam&gs_l=psy-ab.3..0i203j0.1965.5940..6794...0.0..1.556.4826.2-1j5j5j1......0....1..gws-wiz.....6..35i39j0i131j0i10j0i22i30j0i22i10i30.JXZPw-aDbTU

once the person sees these results, then the person will not use yobit

You made BTC from trading or what? I think if it's from trading and then the balance disappeared from your account, it's and error. You should still have the trade history and you can use that to prove that you should have a right balance instead of zero balance. Try to contact yobit team, even they only have a group of poor customer service but at least you have a possibility to take your funds back to your account.

The right thing to do is to make a scam accusation against them.
Why in the first place did you store your coins in an exchange, it's not advisable especially if it's for a longer period.

You invested last November 2018 and you just found April this year, that's 5 months of storing, you should hold it in a certain wallet, not in yobit.
Also, based on above's pending scam accusations, you'll see how bad their reputation is.

Still we cannot return that fund from the exchange buddy. There are make billions on IEO and trading but still their shady activities are never stopped after many complaints on them.

I suggest they need to have more customer service executives to handle this much problems.

Yobit is unknown for having the bad support ever on an exchange. They dont usually reply on their support tickets thats why expecting too much on it would really be stressful.
Lots of issues and shady acts being done by this shady exchange but i dont know why there are people who do really love to use em up.

@Kasabus

Scam accusation thread wont already work on them.  ;)

I have heard it and understand that yobit is very dangerous.
the most frequent complaint is the difficulty of withdrawing assets. I've been away from this exchange for a long time, until now I don't want to take big risks.

Hi Everyone i am still trying to recovery my bitcoin from yobit so far i couldn't. Thanks everyone for comments but anyone knows how to contact them easily, any email, phone number anything ? Also i am living Turkey how and where i will report them. Few people said why yobit still exist and police didn't shut down. Probably every one of us didn't report them so no report no law. We need to report them as a theft . But first things first. How i will contact them? Tired pm from here, telegram , support page, create many tickets. What else?

I know people post many bad things about yobit but I have never had a problem using their exchange.  I've always had really fast withdraws and their exchange is really easy to use.

Continuously many complaints about yobit exchanges, this is really awful to see still people are using such scam victim creator exchanges.

Please write them via e-mail continuously whether they may reply or ignore you. Report them at scam accusation about the issue faced.
Shooting some support ticket would be much more better than doing nothing at all.Yobit might be known on not answering support tickets but atleast
you have informed them. This is why yobit exchange do sucks from the start until now.

Comparing on past performance or given out service by yobit back in the years as of now, i do say that they are much more better in terms of withdrawals as of this moment.

I'm using Yobit since one year without problems.
I made 4 deposits and 1 withdrawal without problem.
I opened one ticket without answer :-(
Withdrawals are not cheap.
But as general consideration it's not a bad exchange for me.

That's what yobit always does, bad customer supports. Yobit doesn't scam their users directly but trying to make users accept their loss by providing a bad customer supports.

Yeah but it is still not safe to trade there because there are possibilities that this exchange will turn into scam this exchange has many bad reputations here inside and outside of this forum.

So for safety if you guys have coins in yobit better to withdraw them and use other exchange for safety purposes.

You are never safe to store your funds on any exchanges, even those high reputable exchanges and it's always better to use your private wallet to store your own funds. But some people were taking risk just to make a killing on bad exchanges.
