What would be the top things you would advise on or suggest to someone who’s thinking of buying BTC?

Mine would probably be;

1 Before investing, spend time learning about cryptocurrencies and blockchain in general

2 Don’t look at it as get rich quick scheme, but as a long investment

3 Learn ways to keep your bitcoin safe and secure.

The unending DYOR advice, yes that's #1 and I'll always say that to those people who are thinking right now of buying it. I've talked to some before and all they think that it's a rich quick scheme digital coin, so without education of what you do you'll be ending up badly.

And the other tip that we always hear, invest what they afford to lose.

If you're going to buy in the present market condition, better buy the dip, and continue to do so while the bull market isn't in full swing yet.

If you'ee waiting for a capitulation, then kiss the opportunity to buy Bitcoin under $5,000 goodbye.

HODL. 8)

The most important tip from me, would be for these people to do proper research on how to secure the coins that they bought. A lot of people jump into Bitcoin and buy coins on an exchange and they leave it there. An exchange is not a permanent storage method for coins that are bought, but just a tool to acquire bitcoins.

You should buy a hardware wallet or print paper wallets in a secure way and then transfer all coins that are bought on exchanges to these hardware wallets or paper wallet. <I also do not trust online wallet providers>  :P

These are the basic things to do before someone is going to spend his money in bitcoin, but some times newbies do not really care about these basic things because their focus is more on how to make money from it then they will regret it later. The point number 3 is the most forgotten thing by newbies as most of them relying on exchanges to store their assets and point number 2 is the most popular thing among newbies. Most of them heard some stories of someone making great amount of money from bitcoin then they start to think that they will be able to do the same thing easily.

These are the factors that needs to be known before making an investment or buying of bitcoin for a long term holding. As of now the market has grown high reaching above $5000. Market is responsive and the growth very real without any manipulative measures, still we cannot assure of the downfall as growth in the value. With this it is good to wait for a little time period and make the buying.

Before you buy bitcoin take research first and see what is happening in the market, you don't wanna buy bitcoin at a high price or where there is a bull run going on and you are caught in the bull run and a correction.

I will suggest to you take into account the various basic skills needed for effective buying and selling of bitcoin.
Do not be greedy , always take profit when you see it no matter how little it may be.
Don't be a panicky investor.
Don't allow your emotions to control your investment decisions.

We are in an early stage of development and you should be ready taking risks, traditional investments have low risk while digital currencies have high. Start  in small amounts. Bitcoin and other coins have high volatility, be ready to sell when you see a heavy drop inclination of prices.

No.1 is the most important thing that you need if you are going to invest in crypto. You need to have some research to learn what are you going to built or what are you going to engage in business. You have to know what you are going to do. And next you don't have to rush to become rich to make your investment alive and far from loss. Because when you are rushing you don't think well so you can't have a good strategies to grow your investnent.

Yes because many investors of this day always view bitcoin as a get rich quick scheme and at some point get disappointed when they expectations are not forth coming and tending to call bitcoin a scam, before you buy bitcoin take the time to learn the fundamentals and how to protect your self in the general market and again don't always take the analysis of others as an investment guide.

This has been an overused investment advice for bitcoin for years now but it still works like a charm:

1. DYOR (or do your own research) before buying bitcoin or any cryptocurrency you see fit. This doesn't get any older since the very foundation of most investments are anchored with how well you know about it and how well you understand the dynamics, alongside the risks accompanied in you buying the said crypto.

2. Buy low, sell high. A very basic thought about anything related to investing in particular and is not exclusive to bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. As the words said, if you bought low, you must sell higher in order to collect profits.

3. It's not always unicorns and rainbows. Upon buying into bitcoin and crypto, one shouldn't expect fast materialization of their profits as the cryptomarket is a highly-dynamic, fast-paced environment that is not suitable for collection of fast profits unless you're a god in prediction.

4. Keep emotions off of your trading habits. This will help you decide clearer and more efficient in taking the next steps in your trading venture.

Excellent points, but there are a plethora of investors who simply do the reverse in these cases:

1. DYOR = Too lazy to do their own research. Just invest and profit is their mantra.

2. Sell high, buy low is what they usually end up doing.

3. Invest in crypto and they expect lambos and ferraris.

4. They go crazy whenever they gain profit or lose money.

Such investors need to improve their brainpower.

I agree with all of the OP said, and as the beginners in bitcoin, that person needs to learn about cryptocurrency so he can add more information as guidance to invest in bitcoin. The next thing that he should do is to learn how to protect his wallet and the private keys because this will be the important thing he needs to know.
And then, he can start to buy bitcoin in the exchanges, send the bitcoin into hardware wallet because it's more safety than to keep in the exchanges. And the rest, he can do anything he wants until he finds the price can increase higher, then he can sell his bitcoin.

1 Before investing, spend time learning about cryptocurrencies and blockchain in general

2 Don’t look at it as get rich quick scheme, but as a long investment

3 Learn ways to keep your bitcoin safe and secure.

1. terrible advice in my opinion mostly because you will not find that many decent sources to learn a bout cryptocurrency in general. i would change this suggestion to learn about "bitcoin" in general because that is the only one that you can find a lot of resources and most of them are good. many are even newbie friendly. but when it comes to altcoins 90% of the things you will find is advertisement with false information trying to pump that coin.

2. the first half is good but the second is bad. bitcoin is not an investment, it is a currency and people should not buy it to make profit instead they should buy it to benefit from its many characteristics and then make profit as a result of those.

3. excellent advice.

Besides OP mentioned people need to know where to buy bitcoins most of the newbies fell for scam sites so they need to research about the legit exchanges supports fiat payments to buy bitcoin or just go with localbitcoin site which is the best and many payment options are available as per the convenient we can pick one from it.

Well, Bitcoin is just another payment system and it is still in the basic phase of development. No one is sure that what is going to happen down the road and hence it is extremely important to consider risk factor while investing anything in Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency for that matter. One should invest not more than his loss-bearing capacity as we all know that Bitcoin is a part of the wild cryptocurrency market where anything is possible. One should always invest his time before investing his money in order to understand what this market is all about and what are the consequences of investing in this market.

Think these are all well known rules but the problem is that people don't pay attention. Only thing they have in mind is quick profit so very often they forget to get informed and to estimste the risks and the good sides.
I would add that is very important not to invest more than you can afford to lose, not to make decisions in a rush and under influence of emotions and always to keep eye on the market.

the best advice to someone who is starting to buy bitcoin (apart from what was already mentioned) is to not-listen to the nonsense online usually in social media like Twitter or even the big news sites. most of them are spreading misinformation about bitcoin and sometimes even FUD. and a newcomer can easily lose track of reality if they are not careful about what they read and what they trust.

~snip~
I agree with your advices, they are definitely a good start for every beginner. A possible problem I see is that most people today have no money for long-term investment, and that perception of bitcoin is still on the side of quick profits and magic money.

I would also like to point out a rather important problem which is often mentioned, and it is related to many bitcoin forks which undoubtedly confuses new users when buying bitcoin. It is important that people know that buying some coins with bitcoin in its name does not really mean they really invest in real bitcoin.

What is also good advice is an old saying : Never invest more than you are willing to lose.

These suggests are good and help newbies to understand about bitcoins and crypto currencies. Understanding the crypto currencies is the main part of crypto's world. Peoples get minor info and start investing. Mostly they target big investment and at the end they lose there money which case they start hating bitcoins.

According to my experience the best thing to do or suggestions I can make for those new buyers who's thinking on buying Bitcoins are:

1. Check the availability and legality of Bitcoin to your country, There are some countries who are prohibited to use Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
2. Determine what's your goal on buying Bitcoin (e.g. As an investment, To use as a mode of payment, etc.)
3. Study the market and learn that Bitcoin is not stocks or forex. Bitcoin/cryptocurrencies are much volatile rather than the currencies in the forex industry.
4. Learn the basic entry to a market so the buyer would take advantage of the price and get as much as possible BTC at the time he/she's going to buy.
5. Lastly, There's a lot of top currencies in the market and not just Bitcoin. It's also good to look up to those coins as well.

I'm not saying that this is the right thing to do. This is all according to my own opinion and experience as a Bitcoin user.

Let me add some suggestion,

- Do not look at the current price, When your buying BTC, you are buying something for the future. Think long term and not the short term gain for BTC investments.

- Want to avoid stress? Do not visit CMC on a daily basis specially during the bear season, Do not install Blockfolio or delta apps to track Cryptocurrency price in real time  ;D Spare yourself in some unnecessary stress that will force you to sell your bitcoins when the current price is not in your favor

Right now I see that the bitcoin movement has reached $ 5,200 and has dropped back to $ 5,175 and I think the price of bitcoin will continue to grow, it's better to buy it from now before going up higher and buying according to ability.
for me personally investing in the long term is the right choice for now and based on searching information about the development of bitcoin to ensure that bitcoin will continue to increase.

2. Experience about the use of bitcoin offline wallet.
3. Slight investigation about bitcoins price chart from where he will be able to get the idea when to sell or hold.
4. Its better to know the legality of BTC on his native country which will help to make bank wire transaction.

b) Suggest they dont watch the market all day everyday or they could become easily frustrated and panic sell
c) Regardless if the price drops, just hold on to your precious coins and hope for the best

These are surely good suggestions. I'd also advice to explore the price chart (a potential investor should know about the previous ups and downs of Bitcoin), the main concerns about cryptos (that the prices won't go up again, that Bitcoin's scalability issue does not allow it to become mass adopted, some worries about quantum computer etc.). I'd also advice to decide in advance at which price or after what period of time would the person decide to sell bitcoins, what would one do if the price goes rapidly down and stuff like that.
And, of course, two golden rules of investing:
Buy low, sell high.
Only invest what you can afford to lose.

True, this is the advice all must put into mind.

1 Before investing, spend time learning about cryptocurrencies and blockchain in general

DYOR advice is a must for a person whether it is a beginner or a trader for a long time, we MUST DO OUR OWN RESEARCHES before investing

2 Don’t look at it as get rich quick scheme, but as a long investment

Bitcoin will never be a quick rich scheme. Even nothing in cryptocurrency is an instant. Probably if you're lucky. For example before the big pump/before ath during 2018. You bought at December 2017, and that's your quick scheme.

3 Learn ways to keep your bitcoin safe and secure.
That's why we need to research about bitcoin wallet to avoid losing our bitcoins and our wallet.

For me, the things above are old methods, they will suggest long-term investment, while the current condition of growth is likely to be smaller, unlike 2 years ago, i will prefer on short term trading, especially for major crypto like BTC and ETH

Absolutely, before buying cryptocurrency or bitcoin one was do a bot for research about how the markets work and trading works before investment. And one should be patient enough to hold the bitcoins and best time to buy would be during the dips.
Understanding on how volatile the market is will save you from giving you that kind of stress, so it's better for a new person on this will understand that bitcoin is moving quickly up and down. This is why others fell after the all time high, they all thought that bitcoin was an unending increase cycle without going sideways.

The only thing that I could suggest is don't think of it as an easy way to get rich.
There are people who only invest in crypto because they also want to be the next person who become wealthy from crypto.
Well for those who still have those kind of thinking could have been gone by now since the market has crash down.
You should know that in crypto you could only get profit if you trade,HODL or start mining them.

the basic thing I will explain to others before investing is about knowledge of Bitcoin and the crypto world. this is capital that is very important for creating profits from the crypto world.

Crypto knowledge includes every aspect related to cryptography, such as trading, volatility, investment, security, lightning networks, mining, coin making with the ERC20 platform, all of which require knowledge.

Think it thoroughly. Once you've decided that you really want to invest, take time to study the market. I think these first two steps are crucial for first time btc users. Just as with any other investments, you're on your way to lose money if you come barging in unprepared and expecting easy money. Read, watch, interact with people who are in the industry.

Rule # 1 on the crypto market is to invest the amount of money that you are willing to lose. This unwritten rule exists because the investment in crypto is a long-term investment.
If you want to invest in crypto, you have to do your own research, because there are many potentially non-potential projects.
The security of the investment is also important. It is recommended to use a hardware wallet.

I saw many comment telling people to buy when the price is dip but nobody indicate when exactly is this dip price to buy. Well my own advice is that just as you can become a millionaire by investing in crypto within few months, so also you can loss your investment. There is no guarantee that you will make gain or loss. This is because nobody can predict what will happen to the price of bitcoin even in the next 24 hrs. Therefore always invest what you can afford to lose

Know that this is a volatile market and will stay that way for a long time. If you do not prepare yourself properly, that is, mentally and emotionally, you may lose it. There are times that will be testing your patience or ask yourself if you did the right decision, and if you are not prepared to deal with these, then better stay away from crypto or bitcoin. This lesson I learned the hard way.

Title: Re: TOP suggestions for someone who's thinking of buying BTC?

My suggestion would be to look also at bad sides, not only good ones. So everyone who wants to buy Bitcoin needs to be aware of volatility of price and that sooner or later loss is possible. Also it's important to have some plan and what is the goal one wants to achieve and will this investment be on long term or short term. It's important to say that buying Bitcoin will not enable you to become rich over night but it could be good tool for getting nice profit if you have resonable profit apetite.

All I can say is DYOR. Do Your Own Research before investing on any coin even if it is bitcoin. You should know all the risk in buying bitcoin and all the things you must do while hodling it. I love reading a lot of articles about buying bitcoins and the risk in taking for that. Since, investing in bitcoin is money but don't forget that buying bitcoin does not make you rich quickly it takes time for you to be that.

dont buy so much if you are a beginner. decide that how much money you want to invest for crypto market, and in the beginning invest only 30 percent of this amount. wait for a few months and keep that 70 percent for good timings.

Firstly I would say the perosn should learn how to save his bitcoin using a good and reliable bitcoin wallet . After deciding if it’s a long term , short term it medium term. I will emphasize that you shouldn not keep your bitcoins in any exchange no matter what which is why I said you should learn to use a good bitcoin wallet so you can monitor your bitcoin yourself.

Or to say it better, Do not buy bitcoin if you have a faint heart :D just like today when BTC lose $400 in one swing trade, All those who bought at $5400 are thinking twice once again :D Do not FOMO in, Buy only the BTC your willing to HOLD for a long time.

1 Before investing, spend time learning about cryptocurrencies and blockchain in general

Why should someone who wants to buy Bitcoin learn about cryptocurrencies? You should advise them to learn about bitcoin. If you're buying bitcoin don't learn about altcoins you don't need altcoins to be successful and profit. If you are new it's even better to stay away from altcoins because it's easy to get scammed and lose money. Focus on bitcoin!

The hardest part is not selling when the sky is falling and you've lost 80%+ scared that you will lose everything. The second hardest is to not sell when market recovers and you made only a small gain. The third hardest is DO sell when it's up 10x but you are day dreaming about lambo and retirement

What would be the top things you would advise on or suggest to someone who’s thinking of buying BTC?

Mine would probably be;

1 Before investing, spend time learning about cryptocurrencies and blockchain in general

2 Don’t look at it as get rich quick scheme, but as a long investment

3 Learn ways to keep your bitcoin safe and secure.
These are the basic things that a person should take care of when buying a bitcoin.
But in my opinion, if a person is a newbie, he should not risk buying large quantities the first time.
He must also read a lot about digital currencies, investment and mining.
If you have someone who understands in the digital currency ask him about the time to buy under the high and low bitcoin.

Although OP suggestions are not new but its important for crypto-currency holders or buyers. Without proper knowledge anyone can't be success on crypto-currency world. If someone think that bitcoin is quick rich method then he is wrong. Its true few people's earn lot during last bull run, but it doesn't mean that always you will be win. In order to gain you have wait and you should have enough patience. Who know when it will run? So before buy bitcoin we should learn as much as possible.

Number 2 is absolutely on point! This is one of the most common misconceptions of bitcoin. Even the pioneer investors know that it's a long-term investment. You really have to do your own research before investing. There may have been exceptions in the past when some people took advantage of buying before reaching ATH, but nowadays, bitcoin is definitely not the way to earn quick bucks. I have some things to add though, you really have to be patient and stay positive all the time. Avoid FUDsters getting into you by ignoring dips and avoiding selling low. Remind yourself that bitcoin is the future and you're simply preparing yourself for it.

I never sell. I just keep buying. Then I go to bed and sleep. And wake up and buy more.

Good... that’s the easy part.
Twin!
Guys don’t be too optimistic
Lol are your feelings hurt because instead of get rich quick you got broke quick?

All crupto except BTC… are shitcoins.
Well, I'm not an optimist, neither am I a pessimist, I just know that everyone could do some research. Moreover, recently I was surprised to find crypto social networks, such as Taklimakan, that offers crypto education. It's really great idea especially for newcomers. In particular, I’m fed up to answer the same questions all the time, lets ask it and answer in specific networks and stop polluting chats with it

You are drawn everything in just three lines! It's amazing! This three suggestion should be followed by all of the new and senior people in the crypto market! Sometimes we keep earning bitcoin and forget the security facts! So, everyone should use a hardware wallet like Trezor or Ledger. Without the proper knowledge, no one can gain from the bitcoin, so, everyone should have a proper idea before buying! And only long hodl can give a good profit to the holders. So, we must hodl some of our assets and then we can sell too at the correct time!

Firstly, they should know that the bitcoin price might not pump and reaches 100000 usd in near future or never.
Then they should know how to secure their wallet too, hackers will try to hack your wallet especially when the bitcoin price pump.

Btc isn't much above its ATH at this point. People are calling for another dump. But I think that won't be of much intensity. So, you can jump right now. But remember that BTC is better for mid or long term investment. Don't try to day trade with it. And if you're not a professional trader, don't try to chase quick and short term profit.  Crypto isn't that simple as it seems. It's a highly manipulated market. So trade safely.

I don't think if this is a suggestion but for me, it is more of an advice. You should wait for the price of bitcoin to lower and touch the support based on the chart. If you are going to do that, then you will have a higher chance to make a profit from buying bitcoin at support because if that support is strong, the price will go up.

Best thing is to inform yourself about bitcoin as much as possible before actually investing.

Bitcoin's Whitepaper published by Satoshi Nakamoto in 2008 is fundamental to understanding bitcoin and blockchain technology. If you want to learn about bitcoin in simple terms and understand the bitcoin whitepaper in urdu/eng, This is one of the best sources:

All your points are correct but some more points to be added like,

4) If you know trading then buy in dips and sell in high, this way trading your buying price will get low and you will be in profit if you entered in high price.

5) Trading is good and try to invest by dividing your budget so that you should be able to invest if the market dips .

I think one must also analyse what ever he/she has read and also, test the analysis on testnet before entering to actual investment.

2 Don’t look at it as get rich quick scheme, but as a long investment

There may be many investment/portfolio mangers who may show you some scheme and say that they will trade for you. Do not get into such things. Also do not trust on others Bots if you have some strategy in your mind create your own bot.

3 Learn ways to keep your bitcoin safe and secure.
Always use safe wallets. I personally prefer hardware wallets specially Trezor. Do not store your funds on Custodial exchanges there are chances of getting hacked. I always prefer trading on non-cutodial exchnages like CoinSwitch (https://coinswitch.co), Changelly, changenow as they do not hold your private key.

2) is absolutely right, a lot of people thinking that you can easily get profit from cryptocurrency investment even my friend ask me if it's true or not but they did not know that you can lose your all money if you make a single mistake in your investment. For me before buying any cryptocurrency especially Bitcoin is do a thorough research and how it works not just buy it because someone told you to do so. Learn how exchanges works and how to trade and buy Bitcoin, also prepare yourself to do kyc ( know your customer) because most exchanges conduct kyc to be able to withdraw higher amount of crypto, fiat etc. Lastly find a secured wallet like nano s ledger if you want to hold it long-term because it is more safe and secure.

There's something different ways of looking bitcoin and investments, some do frequent trade to profit from its extreme volatility, very much like forex. If you trading on exchanges, changes of you moving funds into cold wallet are unlikely as there's fees moving in and out, so putting on a reputable exchanges should be fine as they couldn't compensate the impact of reputation losses. Entering bitcoin is probarly the hardest thing to do as solo investor, no other way by paying more than market price so you need to DYOR really before getting to avoid getting a taste of overbought the next few days.

I do not appreciate this because the project's potential does not come from the technology it has. The potential of an ICO project depends on the popularity and interest from investors. In particular, projects that are sold publicly on exchanges (IEO) will be one of the decisive factors.

My thoughts are aligned with the thoughts of the author. Just like the previous comments the most important part when investing in cryptocurrency is having a good understanding of what cryptocurrency is. It will be useless to buy a certain coin if you really dont understand how the market works, how to purchase and sell it. Cryptoccurency means business, it means money if you do not have a single knowledge about it then you are just throwing away your money on the trashcan.

In short you need to understand:

1. The concept and technology
2. The market

My suggestion is if you're planning to buy Bitcoin is make sure you use it at it should have been. Meaning if you have Bitcoin, use it to buy or acquire services using it.

Bitcoin was created as a currency not just as a mean of investing. We should put it in circulation like buying stuff online, payment for services, use it on online gambling and such. This way more people will use it because they'll know that they can trust Bitcoin as a "currency".

The three suggestions you highlighted here are the basic things anyone who wishes to invest in bitcoin should consider thoruoughly especially getting to have good knowledge about bitcoin, crytocurrency and blockchain technology. I have seen so many people investing in bitcoin simply because they heard someone made huge profit from it without even having the slightest knowledge about bitcoin. One should take out time to read or ask professionals about bitcoin, cryptocurrency and blockchain before making any investment so you know what you are getting into.

Among all the suggestions you listed, number one is the most important as I have seen and heard so many people diving into bitcoin investment without having the slightest idea about cryptocurrency and bitcoin simply because of how wealthy investors in the past became after bitcoin price went very high. So they just invest and start watching price, hoping to make quick profti and they become frustrated when what they expect is not what they get. I think people should really take out time to really know more about bitcoina nd cryptocurrency before making any investment they wont live to regret.

I think the best thing to do is to do some research on how they will keep there coins secure. To be honest, I don't have any hardware wallet to at this moment so my coins is prone to hacks. What I've done is I divide them to 3 and put it in different storage.

One more is if you are not a trader, buy coins and hold it for long term. Also, invest what you can afford only to lose so that you will not feel any regret when you lose it.

And choose carefully the coins  you want to invest so that you will not regret in the end because you have invested in the wrong ones. And as much as possible invest what you can afford to lose.

My only suggestion for all those who are thinking of buying bitcoin is to make proper research and only after proceeds to buy them. If you do not research properly then you may face a huge loss.
It’s important to understand how Bitcoin works before investing any money.

Bitcoin is still new and it can take months to understand the true impact Bitcoin can have on the world.

Take some time to understand Bitcoin, how it works, how to secure bitcoins, and about how Bitcoin differs from fiat money.

Some Tips for all those who are thinking of buying Bitcoin will be are as follows-
  • Do Your HomeWork
  • Proceed With Caution
  • Diversify Effectively
  • Keep Your Coins In Wallets
  • Prepare For Volatility

Buying bitcoin at the lowest price will be the best suggestion for people but we need to find the right time to buy and it still difficult because the market seems to moves to the high price to low price but then moves to the lower price. Mining will not be a good idea as we know that mining will need big power to earn the higher rewards and unless we have a cheap electricity fee, we cannot expecting to make a profit from the mining.

Most of what I experience is the opposite, it seems like it's useless to explain a lot about "learning" at the beginning, because usually people tend to be lazy to learn it when they don't have it and the answer I often get is "confusion" and they don't understand what we explain, so they will learn it when they have it in this case is bitcoin itself, by having something unknown to them then of course they will look for many sources for understanding so they can use it more independently and of course they will learn from mistakes.

Buying bitcoin as an investment can provide a big advantage, because the movement of the price of bitcoin is rising. This trend is usually long and speculators buy as much as possible so prices continue to be pushed up.
At the moment I suggest buying bitcoin and investing money that has not been used so far, HODL for a long time then sell when the price is high. This principle is the safest way to profit from bitcoin.

What would be the top things you would advise on or suggest to someone who’s thinking of buying BTC?

Mine would probably be;

1 Before investing, spend time learning about cryptocurrencies and blockchain in general

2 Don’t look at it as get rich quick scheme, but as a long investment

3 Learn ways to keep your bitcoin safe and secure.
that's pretty a good information though but what I would like to add up is that, anyone who is thinking of buying bitcoin should do well and research more on cryptocurrency, blockchain and bitcoin with its bullish and bearish trends.

I think all your answers are the most common answer to anyone with a situation like that. Anyone who has experienced trading or investing more or less than a year  in this market would still  give the same advice because they've witnessed the others or their own mistake when they go full time. So I would do the same but perhaps I will add things like you must be prepared to losses and also  don't put everything on it like your life savings.

Before investing, under the volatility of the crypto world and all the ups and downs of the price movements. Study and do enough research of BTC and be sure of the point you want to enter. I will say security is also important. Get a secured wallet, keep your passphrase safe and if investing a large amount, get a hardware ledger. Lastly, never invest much than what you can afford to loose. For me, this has been my principle which I encourage everyone to follow to avoid regret

Indeed, every experienced person always advises these things when someone wants to invest in bitcoin but most of them ignore these advice, they only trust the information they hear from others, thinking of investing in bitcoin is simple and this is a quick way to get rich, lack of knowledge and consequences are unnecessary losses. So if anyone thinks about investing in bitcoin, I would probably advise them to ignore the rumors, spend more time reading information, identify the correct source of information, instead of garbage, and not rushing.

Buying bitcoin for short term or for long term profiting is really good compared to other cryptocurrencies that are available for investing. As bitcoin is already a proven asset, it gives more trust to the users while buying. This is the beginners way of buying and from expertise point everything shouldn't be of same asset, it needs to be diversified only through that one can find the best as well learn the tactics of trading which is the best source of earning in cryptospace.

Buying bitcoin at 5200 is a very profitable offer. Believe me, in the future it will be a dream when the coin reaches the price of 50,000 then 100,000 dollars. This is said by many cryptocurrency experts - those who believed in Bitcoin from the very beginning and bought for $ 100-1000. Volatility is very high - a coin can grow by 10-20% per day. Now is a very good time to enter.

To make sure for for great profit one must consider some factors before buying BTC... first make sure you have proper and full knowledge about what you are entering with, second buy it when btc is in dip or in low cost so that when it get high you too will have a chance for bigger profit and third look for the right and legit trading site..

when you work online or on campaign you already earn some cryptos and bitcoins  . if you hodl them this is already consider as an investment . this what most of us are doing and it should give us a suffcient income therfor there is not needed to spend your own cash because you can use that cash for more important spendings outside the crypto scene   .

Buying bitcoin at 5200 is a very profitable offer. Believe me, in the future it will be a dream when the coin reaches the price of 50,000 then 100,000 dollars.

its not what you call a profitable offer because you arent earning when you buy  . profitable means when you sell your coins at a high price  .  buying bitcoin at 5200 is rather a good offer because the price is not that expensive at all and its expected that the price of bitcoin can increase in the  incoming days or weeks  .

Everyone who is buying Bitcoin should know that besides profit he should count on possible loss too. Bitcoin is volatile and that should be always kept in mind. Also, when buying you should know how much you can spend, so these should be funds that you don't need for something else and you should also define is that investment is going to be on short term or long term. And when you know all that pick up legitimate and trustworthy trading platforme.

My piece of advice is simple;
1. Buy as soon as you can afford.
2. Do not expect your money back any soon.
3. Do not promise anyone anything from your potential returns from bitcoin.
4. Be ready to keep it as long as possible.

My advice is:
If you come to this market in order to make money quickly, then it is better to leave immediately.
If you are a long-term investor, then buy the top 5 coins, except xrp and that's it.

Before buying Bitcoin, one must understand that it is a free market, hence every transaction must be made meticulously as verified transactions cannot be retrieved. I think earning bitcoin must use capital right? and you can start by buying bitcoin for your trading capital to earnings bitcoin. I think that kind of mindset must be discarded, if you want to help bitcoin then you should adoption it properly, buy bitcoin with your own money, so demand rises and has a positive effect on the market

one thing you have to know before buying, you have to know when it's the right time to buy

From experience, I learned this

1. DYOR - do your own research
2. TAYOR - Trade at your own risk
3. invest what you can afford to risk

This are 3 important things I learned from crypto world and a key step before I invest my money.

I researched (DYOR) then when I log in to my exchange account I do my own trading based on my own analysis and I only invest what I can afford to lose. At the end of the day, it's all just on me.

Those three points are a thing that should be done by newcomer before buy bitcoin. It useless if someone who buy bitcoin but he never know what bitcoin is and what its function and will be funny if they are think that bitcoin just a way to make their wealth grow up quickly. Also, if I find someone who intend to buy bitcoin I'll say to him that to having bitcoin is a big risk way for his wealth or for his money. He can get a loss just in one momment but he can also get a lot of profit just in one momment also. So as, investing in bitcoin just for people who has a bravery in other hand he must has also a high knowledgeable about bitcoin itself.

Knowledge is power and it is very essential in all fields including cryptocurrency investment. Before investing in BTC, the investor must understand BTC and how the crypto world works. It must be understood that it is a free market hence decisions must be based on well analyzed information. This calls for the need for every investor to do an extensive personal research into BTC before investing in order to stay calm and patiently world when the market goes bearish.

i think there is no real suggestion when it comes to investing in bitcoin because bitcoin is too basic or too general  . anyone can easily understand the concept of btc   . its just common sense that what they need  ( i.e buying at lows and selling at highs or selling at highs and then selling it at a more higher price ) i think all people even the average ones can easily understand and do this method  .

its okay of its bitcoin or other top cryptos that you will be buying because you are assured that their value can still increase later  . all you gotta do is wait  .

I dont think that easy, someone who buys bitcoin with extensive knowledge, and high skills will certainly have better results than investors who do not have clear knowledge, without basic knowledge. so in my opinion you should to have basic knowledge and skills first!

I believe that any person who buys Bitcoin today is a person who has a chance to become insanely rich in the next few years. This is great!

Incomplete, Buying today and Holding for atleast 10 years could be a potential millionaire in the next decade.

Some experts says by holding atleast 1 BTC could be a good pension when we retire after 20 years or so., So start buying now and secure your future.

Always verify the authenticity of the exchanger or buyer.
Don't adventure into the unknown. Get some knowledge into the basics of cryptocurrency and understand the dangers of joining the trading.
Know yourself and the market. Study how to buy and sell properly to achieve profit.

for those who have funds, maybe buying BTTC is something useful for the long term, but consider it good for learning for beginner traders to buy the first altcoin maybe better and of course with the basic learning mentioned above

When it comes to holding of cryptocurrencies at least seven years is a must. This was analysis through a survey where the common users gave their opinion on holding. Upon that seven years was an average on it, if some form of growth gets ignited that needs to be made use of it. So hold and move with the market is the best choice.

It all points to knowledge. Knowledge is what will lead an investor to a profit making state. This is why the investor must study the market, know which exchange to buy the BTC, which authentic wallet to use to store the BTC, the significance of holding when the price drops, how to buy and sell in order to make profit. Seek advice and assistance from experts if need be.
