Title: How is your trading strategy?
Post by: Ghenjer on April 12, 2019, 04:36:10 AM
when someone has knowledge in every field, especially in the field of cryptoqurency, of course that person can succeed. whatever the conditions they can survive the abilities they have. I was recently in the cryptoqurency world, but I still have a lot to learn about crypto. but I have high determination and keep thinking about how to survive here.
if we only rely on the sweetness of the words there is no change at all, we must dare to make a decision even though it is the worst possible!
I have invested in several altcoins when prices are low and also while waiting for the market to improve. to be honest I don't have high skills in the trade sector but have confidence that we can do this, besides that I want to learn from your experience too and then I will do further research if I feel that is true.
then what strategy do you do in trading?

Trading has to do with risk, for you to succeed as a trader, you must have an open mind toward trading, for me while trading, I try to watch the chart to possibly know when to buy and once I am in profit, I don't hesitate to take the little profit, because greed has worse but also, one has to set stop loss in case your trade eventually goes the opposite  direction.

You can profits by doing trading even in the bear market as well depends on your strategy, normally people interested in trading or short term profit makers so if you are one of them then choose trading because it is not for everyone.when you are doing day trading or short term trading you much have technical analysis skill which can be learned from youtube.

It also consumes more time as you need to be agressive for such trends that can change within a minute. Meanwhile during bear market, things are getting riskier. It's because you don't know where will it bounce thus you might enter the market which is not yet done in falling yet. That's why some traders tend to only enter the market which is bullish which can be determined if the support wasn't broken and the volume is seen to escalate.

My strategy in trading is buy the rumour and sell the news and it always work so far, i can get a huge profit from it. Also i do trading on altcoins that i think can increase so high when the market going up like bitcoin cash, litecoin and EOS. Just remember to always sell all your coins when the market on high price and buyback when the price down like today.

Sell when it goes to the moon and buy when it was dropping to the bottom. I don't care how much profit that i will get as long as that's profit and that's fine for me. This much better rather than hold your portfolios for long term

crypto market is very volatile and extremely unpredictable, more for its anonymous nature. You cannot do fundamental analysis like you do for forex, because the chances are very low that we know when there will be a huge buy or sell. Even though this is the case, trading can be very rewarding if you stay away from day trading and focus on investing long term. As many other users suggested, buy when you think the market have hit a low - you can do simple technical analysis and find support and resistance - it won't give you a perfect picture but still you can find the past mindset of traders with these tools and speculate. good luck!

I am trading between major pairs like BTC/LTC or BTC/XMR.

These guys always create some waves which you can ride forever. Dumped my LTC from 0.018x for example. (Which I was buying when it was around 0.01) and now I expect it go where it was before to buy back. I'll probably get in when it hits 0.011 or 0.009.

LTC is not going away in the future I know it. You can multiply your money just by riding the LTC wave.

I only use the basic trading strategy which is buying low and sell high, nothing more. That is the best strategy that works for me, and I did that in every time I see the price is at a low price. No need to wait for a long time to see the price reach the low price so I can buy instant or place the order buy in the price I want. Then if the price can increase 5%-10%, I will try to sell some parts to take my money and let the rest still there and wait for another higher price.

Daily trade is highly recommended but don't be greedy yeah I agree Dare to take risks and take profits even if small, daily trading methods arbitrase only if you research it will be easy for you to take profitable but you must be smart to minimize fees. Or you can follow the altcoin trend if you want to get a small profit it's easy if applied, myself currently trading with a long term investment method cause I now it's busy.

Very popular strategy, just take the cash and profit if you see the price higher than the bought price. You don't have to be the best in strategy but you need to have that wise decision making when you are trading. Don't be too greedy when you are taking profit, at least take 5%-10% if you are not confident with the market. But if you can perform more, look at the charts and monitor the market if it's reliable to add more percentage for your profit taking.

Of course the strategy is different in each trader but the strategy that I do is to find coins that are very active with a large volume movement per second so we know that the coin has the ability to rise and be profitable.

I do not have any strategy at this point of time as I do not have many coins to trade. I have some limited amount of coins that are in a small number. Rather I am planning to increase my portfolios through various means like bounty campaigns, airdrops. So I am very much busy participating in bounty campaigns and airdrops at this point of time. I am thinking about buying some good coins as well like Binance coin, Miracle tele, Sissia and Kucoin shares.

Title: Re: How is your trading strategy?

I have a few dozen altcoins. From time to time I check the price changes. For some assets, a change of 10–20% is enough, other assets have to rise by + 50% so that I can sell it. And I sell it. Then I place limit orders at the same prices and wait for a return. In this way, I increase the number of assets traded. Sometimes I take a small profit.
Until the market began to rise rapidly, this strategy will be in place.

Cryptocurrency trading is something that you really need to have some level of experience before investing your funds in there. If you can't go into all the technicalities of looking at trading graphs and make some predictions based on what you are seeing then it is better to pay into a private trading group. Such private trading groups can give you clear signals that can make you earn profits in the shortest time possible.

I stick to one rule. This is not in a hurry and do not panic when the market falls. And so then I have everything like clockwork. Waiting for growth and throwing off at the height of growth.

Balancing and make a good plan before making any decisions, it's about how patience will play the big role inside this market, always do some research about market movement with each respective coins that you'll gonna ride with, buy on its lowest point and sell when see the good opportunities, always be calm while analyzing your assets.

Be furious selecting projects and always decide with pure knowledge, trading is a never ending cycle so there's no point of rushing just keep learning.

My strategy is the same as yours which is to buy coins when the prices are low. I think it is a good and safe strategy since we are not skilful traders. IMO, it is important to be able to differentiate real news vs fuds in order to survive in the crypto world.

My strategy is to take risk and gain profits.Though, I don't get profit always but I think it is good to take risk becauee trading is unpredictable. If you can take risk, you would be the winner IMO.Another strategy of mine is patience and keep myself update with the market, trust me it helps me a lot on trading.

I have the most common strategy. I study the project - then I watch the levels and then I just buy at the lower levels. if I manage to buy - then I wait for growth and then sell

I do not trade, because I am not so good at it, but I have another strategy. I am searching for perspective projects and trying to detect ICOs that have already reached their soft caps. I am just waiting until they go live and by some of their tokens by -x5 from their ICO price. After several months, price recovers and everybody is happy.

There is no trading strategy on the crypto market. The crypto market is based on the fluctuation of certain currencies, and investors speculate on the price. You can not make strategies with something fluctuating.
I basically invest small amounts in risky projects and big coins in TOP coinmarketcap coins.
Invest in any currency that will inspire confidence, but remember that you do not have to invest more than you can afford to lose.

Getting from low price and selling at high prices are main rule of trading. And all the tactics depend on it.
Also, do not always be greedy for more earnings. Just try to be as greedy as you should.

Just buy crypto currencies and sell for profits, but I am not doing it too often which can be quite tough and risky to do.Day traders need to have more skills than long term traders because they need to analyse the market every time and decide what need go be done in the next time frame.

buy below and sell when riding. this is a simple strategy, but it's hard to do. a lot of consideration and analysis is needed. who must always see the news at any time. actually not a problem about strategy, because any method of analysis all depends on the benefit and the right time to start or end it.

My strategy is that before buying first, I always look at charts and make analysis. then see the news about the coin that I will buy. after that I will see the agenda of what will happen a few weeks or later for the coins that I will buy.

if all things are positive and in accordance with what I will do, then I will buy it. and finally set the target and I will sell it. about the worst possibilities also don't forget.

I use the strategy of investing in those coins that have an established price. Of course, their profitability is lower, however, the risk of losing your money is much lower than in new coins.

I have always thought that one of the worst decisions that a person interested in the subject of investments can make is to invest his money in something that he or she does not know, without any experience, motivated simply because it is a trendy subject. Generally these naive people are those who end up losing everything and then go out to proclaim to the streets that cryptocurrencies are a fraud, recommending people not to approach this field so important for everyone.

For that reason I would recommend you to inform yourself and learn more about this topic before getting involved personally in the trading. Someone who had to suffer many losses for more than three years before learning, tells you from experience.

As for me, I can hodl coin / token of a project I value for as long as possible provided I have done my due responsibility to research well about the project and ascertain that it would be worth hodling at the long run. And if am to sell probably I have am emergency need for money to use, I don't feel comfortable selling all for any of my tokens. I reserve some unit.

Due to the high volatile nature of crypto market especially during parabolic bulls even 100x to 1000x targets seems realistic but my trading pattern is to take some profits in between like we can take some percentage of profit at a certain price level then a little at next level this way we can withdraw our initial investment and profit and still hold some coins for long term and bigger profits.

So many news in crypto that this is a life long learning here. To learn trading is also a longer process as well.
The good thing is that everybody can try even with smaller funds and start practicing and getting experience.
Trading is important especially on the bear market when simple holding is not an option.

Trading in crypto is not a child play, and it's not everybody that have the knowledge of trading. I personally don't know how to day trade, I am a HODLer. But the strategy that I use to preserve the value of my altcoins is that I make use of USDT. When the market is dropping, I sell my coins for USDT and buy them back when they hit the bottom. Which gives me more coins for the same value as the previous.

Think of the capital first. After that we can think of a strategy to trade. Prepare partial capital to buy coins. Both in the form of money and forms of BTC. Because it will be easy if you have 2 of these capital. Then look for premium signals that provide safe trading predictions. That's what I do.

A lot of advice can be given about how to properly trade cryptocurrencies and the most common advice you can get is buying low and selling high.

but the problem is this is very difficult to carry out in practical because no one can actually predict how the market, will move and the crypto market unlike the foreign exchange market is highly volatile.

Meaning you could lose all your tokens or your documents in a bad sale and you can also make a lot of money.

so the best way to carryout your day trading is by using trading bots. set your maximum and minimum  gridlines lines and let the bot do the work for you else you stand a very big risk of losing your money.

Personally, I stopped trading. I don't have that much knowledge in that field. Instead of losing, better I chill and learn.
I also stopped trading because this market is very risky and any of my investments have a big loss. In my opinion the best solution is to add more knowledge from outside to be able to apply to this market better but to do that, you must have good psychology and great confidence in this market then everything can happen better

My strategy of trading is very basic and easy to catch up for the newbie we all know that when we trade it is very risky to do, i have my main goal or target how much i would to earn profit just like 20%-30% that is enough for me.

indeed to trade you have to make your target achieved, not just trade, investment must also have the same target. we have to calculate it with time and how long we do it.
for a profit of 20-30% I think that is quite large in daily trading. if I set a small profit of 10-20% every day.

Trading strategies really need to be done, this affects the results we achieve, the people who are active in the trade that are my target will be reciprocal, so it will be equally beneficial, and also you must be able to think smartly how to blow up a turnover

First to make money on Crypto is very difficult and I can even get fraudulent projects. But I did not only participate in the ICO program but also trade. I began to study Crypto's defeat and finally I was able to make money. Especially in 2017, the price of coins rose very high. And I trade every day the results are also very profitable.

Buy low sell high that is quite normal. But the main strategy lies in minimizing the risks to get loss. Now the risk factor depends from person to person how much a person is willing to take the risk.We had seen numerous times the pumps and dumps are quite common. So getting sticked to good projects and coins having good rank in coin market cap is one of the safest way. Moreover sometimes buying in parts has helped in me a lot.And the risk is quite low.And every trader has his or her own strategy etc etc.

Experienced really teaches us to be more extra careful, 10% is already a decent profits from what we've seen inside the market, if you will be able to catch it up and continuously managed to have that then your trading business will give you a big earnings after some time.

I use Swing Trading, This straightforward strategy simply requires vigilance. The idea is you keep a close eye out for a correction in a trend and then catch the ‘swing’ out of the correction and back into the trend. A correction is simply when candles or price bars overlap. You’ll find trending prices move quickly, but corrections, on the other hand, will not. and you could place a stop at the most recent minor swing high. It’s simple, straightforward and effective.

it's better to get a standard profit and don't expect too high because it makes you feel insecure and carries big risks.
greed will bring you down, if the strategy isn't right.
always be vigilant in dealing with any situation so that you can be ready for anything.
the experience you have will help you manage your business in the future.

You must have a basis for trade and focus on not taking actions that are not needed, the current situation is very difficult in trade or investment. no one really managed 100% profit in each trade.
so I think experience is the main capital, looking for information at any time is the most important thing. the rest you can learn and make your own strategies

Like other people, buy low, sell high will be the best strategy in trading. We only need to find the best time to buy low and then wait for a while until the price can increase so we can sell at a higher price. But it's not easy because sometimes, the price can run into every price so it could make us confuse to determine the high price. And if you keep trying, I guess that you will not have a problem to detect the higher price and you can place the order sell at that price.

When the price of Cryptocurrency decreases by 50 percent in the market, I buy Cryptocurrency more. But when Cryptocurrency's price increases by 20 or 30 percent, then I sell Cryptocurrency. I also use many trading strategies. In fact, everyone uses different trading strategies.

My strategy of trading is very basic and easy to catch up for the newbie we all know that when we trade it is very risky to do, i have my main goal or target how much i would to earn profit just like 20%-30% that is enough for me.
That's also my simple strategy, I don't usually use indicators because I believe on buy low and sell high but on the right time. Setting you target can make you stress free on trading, either you day trade or not you should still have strategies. In long term trading, its easy to buy, hold and sell but you have to be patience and wait for the perfect time.

In my opinion, the most crucial thing that we must have in trading strategy is our right decision at the right moment.
Well, understand when is the best moment to buy the coins after predicting about what will happen next minutes and sell them in higher ways and continued.
Of course, it will really put some risks, however, when trading, we must be brave to take the risks, that cannot be avoided.
Again, know the right coins that are perfect for trading, not all coins are exactly good for trading in a certain time.
And, there will be a changing strategy based on the market situation.

two are used if trading strategy is longterm and short term strategy is the most effective way to earn in trading but they are called risky so it is also difficult to predict what altcoins are good buys for them I use trading strategy is the longterm because it's the best strategy for those who start trading but most people use it is a short time strategy for pro traders because it's quick to earn here but can not be avoided or lose their purchased altcoins but still be careful with the purchase of altcoins because not everyone is legit or there is a potential also called shitcoin many are losing in trading because they are losing their altcoins so it's better to check first and then Think of what altcoins you will buy.

My strategy is simply to know how to read the Volume, and to see in which phase of the market we are, according to that, I base myself on Wyckoff's theory to determine it, and whenever there is a significant movement in the market, what I do is react to Build my position in trading, to have more security in my operations. Therefore, in identifying if we are at some stage in this case of accumulation, what I do is to follow the direction where the market is likely to go, whether up or down, in order to determine what my movement may be so as not to go against the market, because if I go against the market I lose.

Of course I do not sell well so sometimes when I go to minus I decide to hold coins and wait for them to restore the price. Other traders who have more experience selling coins that went into minus and then buy them again when they fall further. what strategy to choose for yourself to decide

The best coins to trade with these days when we have a bullish market are EThereum and Bitcoin both of which have been getting their value appreciated and this will go on for sometime until it reach at a particular value. Speculations in Bitcoin are actually lucrative if your initial cost is down.

I don't have an extraordinary trading strategy. The best move I always pick is to perform an extensive research on the particular coin I wish to trade with. I don't participate in day trading because it is very time demanding. Buying at low price and selling at high price is the general rule underlining my trading.

If you wish to follow my advice, go for day to day trading instead of investing in coins for long terms. There is no guarantee that you will get much benefits if you hold a coin for five years. This is because of the volatility of cryptocurrency. The coin you have held may increase multiple time in even six month's period. So do not think about long term investment. Rather go for day to day trading to amass profit little by little.

First, patience and taking risk attitude are required for trading. Before trading, trading, you must know the rules, and follow the strategy. To trade, do not loss patience while seeing the condition of the market is not well.

This day, I feel confused to trade because I see that in the market, it seems, the price is moving slower than yesterday, or it's just my imagination?

My feeling said that this day is not good to trade so since a few hours ago, I decided to watch the market only without making an order buy or sell. I prefer to hold all of my coins this day, but I hope that tomorrow, the situations will change so I can trade again. I don't know why, it makes me feels that if I force myself to trade, I cannot make a profit now.

Considering the fact that I am not new to cryptocurrency, and definitely not new to trading, what I am doing is to diversify my investment, not always buy low and sell high, but to accumulate tokens on a cycle. In fact, in that way, I am earning average and I am happy about that. For now, I have people that is trading currency for me.

Well that works. Sometimes forcing to follow the buy low sell high strategy ends up with nothing and only fuels greediness. For some coins i actually have that strategy. Wait for the bear market and then haul and many good coins. Lol.
Greediness can be a reason to afford more than investing amount and losing the more than affordable amount can lead to bleeding on the trading account. Some coins have a better profit/loss ratio compared to low market cap coins that have less profit/loss ratio.

My trading strategy is pretty simple and quite close because I don't huge funds to be trading big like how some whales do but with the little that I have I invest into altcoins that have high marketcap. I monitor them to reduce in value to about 40% and when they do I purchase and invest into them. I then follow up on them later to see when they rise again so that I can sell it off and make some profits. If I realize that cryptocurrency has a potential of rising much further then I don't sell all at once but hold some portion of it for more future gains.

buy the rumour and sell the news

Quite accurate I can say, it is not enough to consider saying "buy low, sell high" in the market. We need to take into considerations also, the updates regarding a particular cryptocurrency. In fact, that will going to make a greater impact to the profit that you can get.

Unpredictable market conditions like now make me always think of profit, I always buy new coins available in the market because usually new coins will pump so that it is profitable.

You can still make long term trading with some of your potential coins and day trade with other coins too. Do not put your investment in just one basket so atleast learn to diversify them. If you'll fail in making profits from day trading, atleast you can still make profits with your long term investment.

The strategy really plays a very important decision in the world of cryptocurrency, especially if cryptocurrency has started to grow now, you understand that using cryptocurrency is now profitable and will be even more profitable in the future.

when someone has knowledge in every field, especially in the field of cryptoqurency, of course that person can succeed. whatever the conditions they can survive the abilities they have.

My strategy is simple, and not all operators apply it, I only worry about understanding the market, when I know which options are the safest that can happen, I start to build possible positions in the market, or I wait for it to originate an important movement to be able to react to the market, and thus minimize the possibilities of failure.

Once I understand the market phase, I make a simple analysis at a technical level and proceed to wait or enter the market, according to how the facts have happened in the market. I like to operate just like Jesse Livermore did, because I thought clearly about trading, and despite that, I was also guided by Wyckoff's philosophy, which, in my opinion, can be applied to all kinds of markets

In a trading strategy can not be denied if deep knowledge becomes a strong foundation in order to be successful in the world of trading. So that we can succeed, we should not be lazy to learn from various sources and do not be shy to ask. Nothing instant is included in the world of crypto currencies, all require processes and effort. We must learn to monitor market prices and make an analysis of the market conditions. After being able to analyze well and correctly, we can begin to make various predictions. In my opinion, it's a simple strategy that we can apply in the beginning.

Looking at the current market condition, i would say it is a bit hard to make a profit although there is some growth in the past few weeks it is still not enough. The market keeps on fluctuating it is hard to get the right timing when scalping. It is better to just invest some coins and plan to hold it for the future bull run.

I'm sure everyone knows that the most basic thing we have to have is knowledge because if we don't know the knowledge it will be difficult to succeed, especially investing in Cryptocurrency which is very risky. We must not be lazy to read or find out the potential of each coin and other criteria for investing, I have not been here recently but I always monitor crypto developments and in making decisions I am always careful.

We have different kind of strategies.  Whether it is a bear market or a bull market. We can still take profits from it. We can take actions by doing some kind of fundamental and technical analysis. Together with how we react with the fuds and news. But if someone new to crypto trading, the safest strategy is to do a long term trades.

My trading strategy is to sell only part of my coins when it is pumping and then buying back when dumping. Never trading more than 10% of my coins as the market often behaves differently as I would predict. Using stop loss strategy as well.

Our strategies will varies in different situation cause we don't need to stick in one if it doesn't give any. Our experience will brought us into different outlooks of the market, will make us becoming versatile.

Actually there is no specific strategy that I do in trading with a few coins because I often rely on the moment that happened at that time and many sources from several groups about what coins will have good prices in the near future so we can take advantage of them even in percentage small, maybe it can help you get profits in buying and selling on the market.

Trading strategy is always depend upon the market condition or the movement of the price on every voin that is in the market place. If the coins price drop then normally people hold it for thier own good or to avoid lossing thier asset. I believe that it is really important to have a fucos on every situation on the market place so that we cannot loss a huge amount of profit on the trading feild.

I have to learn so much in the crypto world because trading in crypto is very different when compared to other trades, the price of all coins can change dramatically with a short period of time and can increase in multiples with a very short time.

I am aware of that so I also want to improve my quality and knowledge of crypto so that I have a chance for higher success, this is very important because crypto is not about luck but crypto is about analysis and prediction and for making good analysis and predictions, extensive knowledge is needed
