Title: Giving away 15 merits to newbies
Post by: Your Point Is Invalid on April 14, 2019, 04:59:53 AM
The title says it all really. Newbies are often overlooked because of their rank. If you need one merit to rank up to Jr. Member then go ahead and reply with a link to a post of yours that you think deserves to be merited.

Keep up the good work man that gives chance to newbies ranked up. I think the reason why they did not look to newbie's profile because the majority of them got banned. Look at this thread, How many banned users have you merited? (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5117564.0).

Note: banned users can still have good posts. Meriting them isn't necessarily a bad thing.

In total, 26864 users (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3078328.msg49983292#msg49983292) received at least 1 Merit until last Friday's merit data dump, and 3024 of those (11.26%) have been banned (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5092983.0).
I hope you've merited deserving one to rank up and not end up nothing. ;)
