I am an investor in ADA and a great fan of IOHK_Charles philosophy and Cardano project in general. Since most of my crypto portfolio is ADA, I want to believe that in 2019 and 2020, Cardano will be one of the best if not the best performer in the crypto.

Why?

0. Peer review, strong team and strong science behind that make the network faster (than ETH), cheaper (than ETH), safer (than ETH or EOS),
1. Shelley's long-awaited launch and staking which will decentralize the network to a level untouched so far.
2. Strong partnerships to be announced at the IOHK Summit in a few days
3. Smart-contract platform and Plutus and Marlowe programming languages - where Marlowe can be the first large financial industrial use dapp.

Thoughts?

The all time high for cardano is $1 and it is not far from reaching that price when the market stays on the track that we've been last 2017. Last month it was $0.05 and now $0.08 which is a good gain for you if you ever bought it at lower price. I'm not familiar with the updates that it will conduct soon but whenever price of bitcoin increase, it will include most of the altcoins in the market like ADA to gain dominance and price again. This what we have noticed during the bull run days.

I don't think cardano will be the best perfomer for 2019-2020.

Even i think it is overvalued. Don't see anything they achieved so far to become at top ten.

I like Cardano/ADA but it is one of those that is heavily hyped, whilst still being in the early stages and not really properly tested live and at scale.
I would say be optimistic about this project, but also wary of the hype.

I think cardano is a good coin and their team work is very good, and I also have it, but I think for 2019 the cardano hasn't shown the best performance yet, I think cardano will show its best performance in 2020-2021.

Cardano Blockchain still under development from the developer team, i think Cardano can growing big and bigger than now, cardano are listed in my favorite coin, for investing cardano is one part of few coin i choose from market

They have good projects, good concepts, good push and very great team members that are actually very hardworking, so I see reason why they cannot maintain a very good portfolio. I am sure very soon, they will join in the league of projects we are really singing f their praises such as bitcoin, ETH, Binance and many more.

I also have some ADA in my portfolio and I think it will be a good idea if I can still add more to it as I can see the future they are already introducing now.  I do hope they do more than they are already doing and not allowing all the hypes to get into their head at this developmental stage of their project.

Maybe its better to say that “The Best ever cardano performance “sounds applicable right?but not being a best performer for this year and the next because it cannot even hit $0.1 and that was 900% lower than the highest value cardano has in the hype of 2017

Cardano is doing well, but i doubt it will outperform litecoin this year. There is a lot of potential on this project but it will take time to develop so investors may pick ethereum instead as it is already a working product that just needs improving

I don't know why some people do not want to grasp reality, Cardano has had its time and don't expect much from it, most of these coins are turning to pump and dump coin, the only thing people are talking about is the team but we have seen now that what count is the actual number of users on your platform

I have not seen a major pump for this coin, through the years since it was launched. But I am nothing against it, it just that I hope this year or the coming years will be better for them.

Ethereum is still the number one in smart-contracts platforms. Big companies like Microsoft or Google are developing on Ethereum´s blockchain.
I am afraid that TRON, EOS and Cardano will not be used due to mistrust in new projects even they have better technical parameters.

maybe yes, cardano will become one from many best crypto with good perform in 2019 - 2020, but for sure this coin will not become the best crypto in 2019 - 2020 mate, and i bet for ethereum, cardano will always under the ethereum in all aspect or performance
 

They will continue to development in 2020. I don't know anything about their promotion plans. A big hype is expected in 2021. I do not expect much progress Cardano in the near future.

I have read a lot of articles since the morning and they said Cardano will really have a very high price in 2020 and 2021. Their technology is really great but they are still waiting for the conditions to reach their full potential. .
Is it now a good price for us to buy first? We can have a safe long-term portfolio when buying Cardano.

I also learned about Cardano a few days ago and I think this is really a great business. but it is still underestimated, why? because technology businesses still have no place to compete. At the moment, big altcoins all have large communities and traders buy signals, which is an imbalance.
But for profit in Cardano, we need to buy and hold for 5 years or more. then the rules of the market will change and they will soon eliminate coins that don't have good technology.

We need to bear in mind that so much with Cardano is potential rather than actual product that has been tested in the live market. Undeniably it looks great in theory, but judgement should be reserved at the moment. The price is almost entirely speculative with little of substance really to back it up.

However now is certainly a better entry point than when it was at ATH. So if you are going to buy in, I'd say do so sooner rather than later. On balance there is probably more chance of it surging upwards than plummeting downwards.

So I don't know if it could be the best performer next year though, I guess they really need to keep themselves busy because it looks like it doesn't have any attention so far as compare to the rest of the altcoins in the top 10 market, that's why there are no hype whatsoever to bring the price up.

OP just predicted and assumed that CARDANO will be the best performer altcoin this year but I don't think so. Have you seen it's price now? It hardly goes up. Bitcoin pumps and most of the altcoin does but not ADA. I won't judge it, maybe there are still time for ADA to show how great and potential coin it is. But to predict that it will be the best, is an underestimate term. Let us see about that.

cardano is only a coin alternative that has relatively few developments, so now cardano cannot be very expensive yet, if the cardano wants to be expensive then at least the cardano demand must increase which means that there must be many who use cardano to transact and increase demand that will have a good effect for cardano prices.

Seriously, it seems a serious project and they have been doing slow but steady work, hopefully they will go somewhere meaningful with this project.

If Cardano fulfills all promises then it would be one of the best altcoin in history! Do you know that they are also working on protection against quantum computers?

That's a big if, and if other altcoins fulfill their promise, they could also be the biggest in the market.
We don't really know, we buy a certain coin because we see its potential and time is very important, we need to let it grow as it will not happen instantly.

There's no significant movement on ADA so far, so that makes it a cheap coin right now.

The cardino community has a very good expectation about the price because there are very active developments going on in the background. Now already the price of Cardino was very close to 0.1$ which seems to be very bullish once the price of Bitcoin is over 10,000$. Let's wait and see how far the price of ADA is going to be this time.

In 2018, many people were sure that 2019 can be the best year for Cardano. Now, they talk about 2020. This altcoin is good, but I suspect it will not be the best performer. Some tokens, TRON, for instance, are more interesting to investors.

I think BNB is the best performer of 2019-2020 so far. And Cardano does not even come close to it. BNB is fundamentally strong and a well-backed token. BNB rising up to more than $200+ is not far from possible if the bitcoin and altcoin bull run is going to happen.

Cardano prices can show if the cardano is really potential. maybe now the price of cardano is only at $ 0.1 but don't forget the potential of cardano now it will definitely be in a good position someday and cardano will shake cryptocurrency.

I agree and I want to accumulate Cardano. Fundamental analysis of Cardano is strong but technical analysis is also strong. I think we are going to see some good gain against USD and also against BTC.
