I have bought few cents of bitcoin last year thinking that there will be bull run as it was being speculated by many of thr users here. Yet, the speculated bull run was never happeb and instead it goes down to bearish market. I was just thinking that if I could only just anticipate the bull run or the pump that never happen.

Now, that bitcoin has slowly I have never invested in bitcoin. The moment that its market price was 3k usd was the best time to invest with but still I am afraid that it could go down. Seeing it slowly recovering to 3.6K-4K means nothing also to me. Now that it made a huge pump up from 5K i have regreted that I never invested in bitcoin. I have never been anticipated.in bitcoin pump.

I am Newbie in cryptocurrency and would like to start a small trading scheme that would try my skills in the market movement.

What should I do? Invest now? or wait for.another market down?

I have never follow speculation because in most time it never happened the way it speculated to, the best formula is to buy when the price is low and hodle for a long time for the price to rise.

Btc has just pumped, so why buy now? Buy when it descends to 4k. We may never see 3k again, but 4000-4200 is on the radar, no doubt.

If you want to gain a good profit in the future, you must be brave enough to take the risks. If you're still afraid to take the chance of investing while the prices are low, you might have regrets again when the bull market runs. This is the perfect time to invest and not wait anymore because if you wait any more longer you will definitely miss out on the bull run. I think this question has been running around since I got into crypto and my answer would be the same for my friends and family who ask me about this.
Why would you wait ?What if the price never go down ?What if it continues to rise up ?
If this happens then you just lose your opportunity ,So you have to take your chance now if you want to invest in crypto invest now don't wait for the best time to invest.

tldr; no one knows when the best time to buy is, because no one can predict with pin-point accuracy what will happen to the markets in the first place. If you want to make a short term gamble, go to a casino instead. If you're planning on investing long term, does a $1000-$2000 price difference matter?

It completely depend on your decision . But what i was doing initially if i am in confusion of investing i was splitting actual investing amount . Lets say 25% four times or 50% and i was investing on that if market goes bearish i was putting another part of percentage on each milestone lets say 500$ drop . Or i was taking profit on each milestone.

You are free to anticipate that the bull run never happened. If you are depending with people's speculation and believed on it completely, you will become disappointed again when that expectation you and those speculators set isn't met. Few cents of Bitcoin? What in the world? Weird in my opinion. What are you hoping to gain through such a small investment op? Are you actually expecting your investments to 10x or 100x over time?

This is not feasible and I advise building up your investment if you want your profits to increase over time.

Do it in small amounts if you're not that confident yet. If it drops to 4 or 3k at least you still have some left to buy again and average your losses. It's always a good time to buy when the market is just starting to move up but you have to have some leverage so don't go all in. The bear market is likely done for now so the price may be in for more of an upward movement than down.

I think t is more pracrical to invest now and take the risk because based on what bitcoin experts said, bitcoin will continue to grow on the soon. So if it's truely happened and you did not invest you will regret because you missed the chance to earn or to have a good income that can help you to change your life.

It's actually cliche' that people turn their head on bitcoin if it's doing good and don't mind it while if it's bleeding. And now that everything is turning green people are eager to own some knowing the fact that they could  have some profit now if they bought during the dip. The thing is, only few bother to buy that time though.

One thing that you should understand. The fast growth that we've all witnessed in 2017 was not healthy. The general situation about cryptocurrencies was too overhyped. That thing usually doesn't happen in the mature market, some asset can't make x10 in a very short amount of time. If you make analysis and you see that the volume is weak and it will go down a little then better to wait for that time. My personal insight the market is that, no more cheaper price because we already hit the bottom but its hard to tell if the market will go high this month or in the next quarter.

Are you a long term holder? Well you can invest in market no matter if its bull or bearish the market is not just 1 bull and 1 bearish it has a swings and from that swings you can earn from it but personally I would say to wait for the market to dump a little, try to do a research also on basics about when is the best way to make an entry and exit from different articles around the net you can also watch youtube videos about basics in entry and exit and different kind of trading strategies.

Invest now? or wait for your turn down? I personally wait for my turn to go down to my new investment and sell it up so that I will benefit from my investment. because all people want to get a profit not a loss "trade terms that is with small capital we get a profit that is as big as" that is what is meant by economics, and all that we also how to deal with all that wisely.

Prices really matter for a certain investment, the lower price we bough the higher gains we have. But seeing the market continuously rising, we just a lost a lot time waiting for the market to drop. Don,t think that investment now on the right track is not worth because the market price still unstable and still on the recovery mode. If you are hesitant to buy bitcoin because of what happened to you last year, why don't you try buying some coins? There are some coins that have a dump price.
Anyhow, you have to gain some confidence or some courage to invest btc now. I am sensing that you have some regrets and afraid of losing your fund which you don't have to feel, anyway.

If you want to become successful trader, learn technical analysis. That's what i always advice for some newbies here. It may be a big help because you'll know when to buy btc especially when the market is really volatile.

No problem with investing, if you are willing to learn trading along trends with proper management its more than just putting funds and hoping it grow, thats different story. As of understanding all your sentences, it seems like you are a type of person that is always on a hurry. You want rush profit so you are already out to be hodler.

Yeah i agree with you about some things but to the OP that stated he is new in bitcoin investment or trading scheme may be a reason why this topic will be talk over and over again. As newbie has no time to research about other topics as well that has the same content with OP. Try to buy small parts of bitcoin. And if bitcoin price is getting down for more, then you need to check the trend, if the trend still going down, then you can place an order buy at the lower price than the market now. That is what I did when I want to buy bitcoin, but I never use one-time buying action because I am too afraid to see the price could go down after I bought.
If you want, you can make a list of bitcoin price, and in every range, you can try to buy with 1-2 order buy. I am sure that you will get the lowest price so you can start to sell some parts to get your money while you can hold the other parts to wait for the big pumps that might happen later.

Indeed, there is no one who able to predict bitcoin price correctly but you can use the strategy with look at the history price movement. I don't advise investing in bitcoins right now as wait till it drops to 3k-4k as it always has the potential to reach 6k but don't buy it for a higher price. The market won't improve for a long time. It's better to go for a bunch of altcoins when they are popular and then sell them off for a small profit as a start. Altcoins are always more profitable than bitcoins or even ether.

Image getting profits of 2% per day, that's how much in a month? 60%? Others are waiting for bull run for how many months now while others who took 2% per day are enjoying 60% per month. In my own opinion price will stay at 5000& upto 5200& up and down nothing reason to wait another down turn for this year, the signal i can seen in market cap bitcoin bear market is end and now time to invest buy huge amount of bitcoin and wait for another bull run.

   I must agree with this Twit. I`m here for years and it`s what I see all the time, people making threads
about their mistakes they made with investing in crypto-currencies.

There may never be another down, 5 thousand dollars could be the farthest we will be down for a long long time. If bitcoin price goes down from here than your waiting will worth something and you can definitely buy cheaper. But if bitcoin price goes higher from here we will never see anything below 5 thousand ever again. Think about it, if bitcoin goes to 6 thousand now, with that momentum on its side do you really think it will go below 4? Or even 5? It probably won't.

It has to go up really fast and go down really fast for that but now that we are smarter about doing quick increases we just go up a bit, fill the support line, make sure we are definitely protected against a big fall and than try to go up again and do this over and over again for each time we increase.

in my opinion, it is better to choose an investment that really makes it possible to go up in the future. maybe like 10 main coins will be a good thing for now. but, holding back can also be a good decision, we can get a cheap price while waiting for the market to go down first.

Waiting for some time will not change anything in your life but taking some rest will definitely do some changes in your life there will be chances of getting both positive and negative result but in most of the time it will be positive so if it was successful for you you will be the most richest person to invest and get the better profit that's why taking risk will always been important get in this field.

What proof or guarantee do you have that you will still see 3k to 4k again, right now, I think the market has already stabilized on 5k, as you can see, all the strong fluctuations that has happened in the past few days as not succeeded in bringing it below 5k.

I have not taken a decision where I will sell Bitcoin. I have invested in the cryptocurrency much, and holding is the plan that I have. Will I invest more? Probably, but not sure now.

I do not believe there will be another downturn but I believe we are not yet in the bull market. You might be seeing price is pumped and slowly going up but I guess the is just playing in the bear market condition and not really have overtaken already the bear.

Well, better to have other investment strategy in addition to that one you mentioned, like if you are regularly investing a percentage amount of
your money, ex. 10% of your monthly income are invested in crypto. So instead of 10%, better to invest half of it just in case there is a continuing upward trend trajectory.

It depends on you to be honest. The whole cryptomarket is huge and with every day passing by it's potential is growing. So every day is a day good to invest some money in crypto projects. Sometimes you get into bull run, and sometimes you don't but the point is to be part of it.

I think this is the best time to invest and the reason behind it is purely the rise in the market value of Bitcoin.
