You can take a look at this ranking of the exchange sites: https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/

Well here's a tip I can give for you in choosing an exchange:

1. Look for an exchange that has a large volume of coins
2. Exchange that has a criteria on the coins they list
3. High security (most secured exchange implements a KYC verification, a level 1-3 *the level depends on the exchange site)
4. Has an active contact support
5. Licensed Exchange
6. Info about Physical office and contact info
7. It should have an active community and always updates such as news, updates, etc.
8. Provides anonymity of the traders
9. Learn their minimum deposits and withdrawals
10. Read their rules & regulations and read their FAQ

So far here are the information/Tips I can give to you in order to choose a good exchange, I didn't say that the rank 1 is the best exchange It's up for the user which exchange is the best I think that top 1 is because of the volume when choosing an exchange make sure to do a research or read a reviews about the exchange and learn the advantages and disadvantages and the positives and negatives of that certain exchange.

The best thing that you have to do first is to know the fundamentals of trading. It will be risky if you'll do trading without further knowledge. You also have to create your own digital wallet to deposit your and withdraw your funds from. After you’ve set up your wallet with a payment method, you'll need a place to actually buy bitcoin. Users can buy bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies from online marketplaces called exchanges, similar to the platforms that traders use to buy stock. Exchanges connect you directly to the bitcoin marketplace, where you can exchange traditional currencies for bitcoin.

My suggestion, do more reading in this forum first. You do not know where to buy bitcoin and trade it only or you do not even know about how to trade as well?
There are many exchanges to buy bitcoin and you may refer to this page https://bitcoin.org/en/exchanges
I think it is better to start with local exchange first if it is available in your country. Then you may try global exchanges when you have learned and tried some trading activities.

Nope. I don't have any experience here. It seems like you already are aware of the basics of Bitcoin trading.

Just choose one among Binance or Bittrex(I prefer Binance) or trade on a P2P platform like LocalBitcoins(Select members with 100% feedback and high trust feedback only).

Are you sure you are a newbie? binary options for beginners is a gamble that will end with the loss of the entire capital.
Even pro, I think it's closer to gambling than trading whatever the return on investment "ROI".

it would be better if you choose an exchanger that provides purchases with your FIAT currency directly.
Where are you coming from? Is there an exchanger in your country like I meant?
I suggest that so you can easily buy bitcoin with the FIAT currency that you have.

Welcome to the world of cryptocurrency trading newbie, you have entered an arena of a lifetime opportunity, but before you fully get involved, you must know that Trading is not a child’s play thing, you must already have the FULL knowledge, strategy and patience to trade Bitcoin in this volatile market.

First step into buying bitcoin to trade with is to look for a local exchange around you or on the internet, I do not know which country you came from, but I am sure that definitely you will have one around, deposit you fiat for them to give you BTC in return, from there, you will transfer your BTC to trading exchange like binance for trading, I recommended binance because they are still the most reliable exchange if you want your money to be safe and they have a very low trading fee that will make you have more profit ahead of other exchanges’ traders.

If you are newbie in trading it will be difficult to you to understand the chart, volume and the movement of the price so that's I advice try to look for a video where can help you to become good trader. Take note that bitcoin is very unstable cryptocurrency that's why it is good kind of investment. Maybe try to use exchange to buy bitcoin or use coinbase because you can use your credit card to buy bitcoin and other cryptocurrency.

Trading is not a as simple as you think that you buy bitcoin, deposit it in exchange and start the trading  :D. If that is your plan, better keep away from it as you will lose all your money. Trading may seems an easy profit making business, but in reality it is a not so easy.

If you are new, first try to learn about bitcoins and trading. It may take 4 to 6 months before you can say that you have good knowledge of bitcon trading. So my advise is do not rush things and learn them first.

How much do you have to invest with? you can buy Bitcoin from LocalBitcoin or from any other exchange. Although the most popular exchange to buy cryptocurrency and trade within the exchange is Binance, which i will recommend.

If i hear you clearly that, you wanted to trade with those coins you want to buy? Do you have the knowledge of trading? what about the skills involved? please don't get yourself involve in what you cannot complete when start. Wish you good luck in your hustle.

You can buy Bitcoin at the exchange pages such as Binance, OKEX, HitBTC, Bithumb. You can then trade it into Altcoins from the above exchange pages. I recommend trading in a small amount to get used to the exchange pages that avoid losing capital.

This are all the answers from him that I found.
You ask and then someone answers you. Better get yourself a better answer the next time.

We also need more information for us to pinpoint the answers correctly and not just blindly answering.
You know there are country restrictions right?
One example is Coinbase which restricts other countries from using their service although they are your best option for getting in (buying crypto) and also your way to trade easily.

Buddy, no one will share the strategies that is the best here and you might just needs to train yourself in a way to develop one.  Remember that you can only succeed through trading if you are skillful and become professional. In trading over 90% of traders do lose money and only few makes profits and those are the people that has train themselves on how to buy at the right time and also sell at the right time.

As for that depositing , he’s going to need to use Luno or Paxful to buy bitcoin. Luno is best, cause it’s already an exchange and you can deposit fiat to your wallet and use it to buy Bitcoin or Ethereum and also exchange back to fiat anytime you want to. There is also an option to withdraw back to your bank account if you wish to. Not really everyone knows about Luno , there are other bigger exchanges that has been around before it, but it still has good reputation. Binance is a good one, and Coinbase, Kraken, ….I will recommend Bitbuy (formerly InstaBT) for anyone that is living in Canada.

OP your question doesn't sound like someone interested in trading bitcoin instead it sounds like another newbie that think, buy, hodling and selling of bitcoin is trading bitcoin. There's more to trading than just buying and selling like an average investor.  A traders question who had been asked in this manner "Where can bitcoin be traderd, or on what exchange is more profitable to trade bitcoin". As you used the word buy and trade you sound like an investor (buy hold and sell).

You have to understand trading isn't a gift one is born with, it's a skill acquired through years of practice and experience gathered along the way. To go into trading you need understand how your choosen exchange works, how the advance trading option can be leverage on and finally I recommend this article + video (https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoin-trading/)

OP should know first the basic in trading before buying. Anyway, I recommend Binance for starter and of course you need a wallet, use electrum for the meantime.

Keep in mind that exchange sites aren't wallet, so don't store your bitcoin in there.

My emphasis is on the sentence I bolded. You mildly put that expression on Binary Options. It's pure gambling (not a sort of it) The risks inherent in it surpasses crypto Forex trading put together at once. Again, OP you may get a help closer home if you gave out your country name. There could be someone skilled here from your country who could get you into a group where such tutorials are held by your country men. For instance, I used to have issues buying and selling Bitcoin with Fiat until I got into a telegram group run by my countrymen.

When you begin to learn about bitcoin we have to learn about how to use it first like how to create a wallet on your own on exchanges and how to deposit and withdraw to your wallet, then get use to the patern of BTC daily before starting to trade, at the begining, don't spend too much, just use small amount of BTC to trade so you can minimize the risk of loosing all money, reference with what you learn on internet, then you can trade after few days, finally don't be greedy, sell when you have small profit because that is the better way to have experiences from trading.

Do trading on a trusted exchange, at this time there are events when the exchange has been hacked and this is proof of the not yet maximum security system on the websites. Trading on a trusted website will provide comfort for us and we can also maximize our potential in increasing assets and reducing the risk of losing assets. Trade on a trusted exchange and you will get closer to success !!!

Coinmarketcap have both list of reliable exchanges and unrelaibale exchanges, so I would not still advise to rely on coinmarketcap to choose trading platforms, CMS is more effective in deciding which coin to invest in by choosing from the top listed coins, but I don’t think there are top listed exchanges on CMC.

In order to choose a perfect trading platform, one still need to make enough research on anyone we are advised to use and it is easier to get review on one on this site and on the internet. For example, Binance platform is what many of us know, while Yobit is a very bad platform, but CMC still have it listed for some coins.

You can buy bitcoin with local currency from any p2p platform like localbitcoins but be careful about selecting seller, traders with more transactions and high positive feedbacks are safer to do transactions with. Although escrows are put into some middle wallet after initiating and before completion of any transaction but still one needs to be careful before choosing trader on p2p exchange. Once you receive BTC in your wallet, you can transfer them to any of crypto exchange like Binance, coinbene, Bit z, Yobit or any other good exchange and trade with the pair of your choice.

Before you start trading bitcoin ,it will be much better that you take some time to study the bitcoin trading and learn how it works . There are about three different types of trading I think  ::) and that is Direct Trading, Brokers and Trading platforms. These three are something different. Brokers are just the same with foreign exchange, while Direct trading is what you will see a lot of people in this forum refer to as P2P. Trading platforms are different from the first two I have mentioned, they connect traders and buyers and they collect a fee for it.

We have so many exchanges where you can purchase bitcoin from, though it is best to make your purchase from a popular one, though most exchanges don't have fiat payment included in them, so my advise for you is to make use of a peer to peer exchange in your country that allows direct funding via atm card, then make purchase of as many bitcoin as you want and then send this coin to an exchange so you can begin trading for other coins.

Altcoin trading and long term trading is suited for a newbies. If you don't want to take our money in your pocket, try joining bounties or airdrops. Major exchanges like Coinbase and Bitstamp generally have the best rates you can get for a fiat to crypto transfer, though keep in mind you'll need to submit KYC documents in order to even deposit money to these exchanges, and that can take some time (though AFAIK wait times for KYC approval are very short now). Alternatively you can also buy BTC through a P2P service like Paxful, where vendors may or may not require KYC for you to purchase Bitcoin. Try to choose vendors that have a good amount of reputation and have recent trades as well, use your common sense, and you'll be able to weed out the potential scammers on the P2P site you choose.

As a newbie, only try to use major exchanges. It'll likely be hard for you to distinguish between legit and scam exchanges if you're new to crypto, and besides that the risk involved in dealing with a new exchange just isn't worth it in the end, especially if you plan on buying a large amount of coin initially. Same should be done for finding a good exchange for trading on. Bitmex is a popular choice for leveraged crypto trading, though if you do choose to go to Bitmex or any other site that offers leveraged trading, don't overleverage yourself. Keep things to a maximum of 5-10x and only risk as much as you can afford to lose.

I think bitcoin is the most preferable asset that must be trade and kept for long term investment. Thus, it gives huge potential and liable contribution in crypto world that brought people's wealth on resembling it. Consequently, trading is too risky to be penetrated but we have to be cautious for every deliberation we made and take the risk for possible consequences.

Before you jump into trading you must study it first learn the basics don't just invest blindly,
It is the most mistakes of a newbie they are just investing since it is all hype out but you should really take some time first before you trade.
Finding a trading site or exchange platform is so easy because we already have so many of them right now.

If you think about it, it seems so simple to trade. You just gonna buy low and sell high, simple as that. But nope, it's the emotion that kills us and affects our decision, so I myself I just hold it until I'm satisfied, don't watch the chart every now and then. Remember, dip is natural and organic

That is the basics lesson in the trading, and I am sure that he can do that with easily. The problem is only to know when he can buy low because no one will know the right time for the price to get down. Maybe we are predicting one price has reached the lower price but suddenly, the price is going to go down deeper, so it makes us buy more the amount. He really needs to learn more about trading, so he doesn't get confused to determine the right time and the right price to buy and sell. Besides learning, he also needs to practice the lesson so he can improve his skills in trading.

You can start by buying bitcoin on an exchange that provides your currency and start buying it, but I think the average person is successful by buying on coinbase. After that, you can just trade by exchanging the bitcoin that you have on several altcoins, which you think has great potential for the future.

Do you mean that if we buy bitcoin in the other exchanges we will not be successful? It is ridiculous mate and I don't think so.

Even though we buy coins in a known exchanges  or using them in trading but we never have 100% guarantee that we will become successful cause it is depending on how we manage our trade. Coinbase is not only an exchanges around, we can use Bittrex or Bitmex in trading, they are known exchanges also in the market.

There is no sense to trade Bitcoin for a newbie, especially now, when its price is going up. It is better to spend some time more to learn the best strategies of trading, then - choose good altcoins, hold them a bit, and only after - trade.

You are right but new comers are now very optimistic and serious about trading and explore even more than the existing traders. New comers also find out information about new technologies where there are possibilities to make huge profits. However, those traders who think that they can just make profit by investing in any coin will get nothing because you have to monitor the market all the time.

Well it happens at times. You being a newbie cannot comprehend everything or at least the best among things needed in the crypto market. When it comes to crypto, you do not stop learning and until you keep on learning about every day’s concepts that could be very important for you to make important decisions related to your coins.

yes, it's no use for beginners to trade bitcoin, but it doesn't hurt them to try it. if too many beginners learn to master trading strategies without trying it in my opinion it's useless. because a beginner must know what it's like to do real trading.

You can begin using CMC then study how things works before making any decisions in investing from this Market, plan your investment and make good assumptions don't allow yourself to go inside without any proper knowledge, you can do your study using the internet, watch some videos from YouTube and begin to learn.

I don’t really get you, isn’t this the time that traders are even advised to go into trading now that the market is become more  bullish, would he have traded in a bear market or you are confusing a trader to an ordinary investor?

Anyone can trade bitcoin at any time, and now that the market is becoming more volatile, there are lots of dip to buy from and lots of high to sell. He doesn’t need to abstain from the market, all he needs is just to learn thoroughly first and develop the strategy he will apply to his trading which is a necessity, once he can get all these things right, then he is very good to trade bitcoin at any time.

Where do you come from? Bitcoin can be sold on several exchanges such as bittrex, binance, huobi and many more. You can sell it into USD currency. Then you drag and drop it to the credit card or bank account you are using.

There are many ways to be able to buy bitcoin, either through exchange or crypto purchase platform.
But in your country you don't have a local exchange that can use the bank, it's better to buy it through coinbase because you can go through the bank. Then after that start doing what you want to do with your bitcoin.

let's study here: https://www.bitcoin.com/guides

You can always choose the top exchanges in coinmarketcap but the best suggestion that I can give to you is ask yourself first if what are the available exchanges in your country. It is better to use an exchange from your country if there are decent exchanges that you can find.

If you don't know where to start then you can start by asking your fellow countrymen especially those in crypto also if what are the exchanges that they are using. Still the decision is in your hand so you better do your research also to avoid those scam exchanges.

There are many exchanges to buy bitcoin and you may refer to this page https://bitcoin.org/en/exchanges
I think it is better to start with local exchange first if it is available in your country. Then you may try global exchanges when you have learned and tried some trading activities.
good advice for a beginner, the main thing to do is to read first and understand new if it has entered into a local exchange it is very good, because in local exchanges there is a separate community ready to help and ready to guide you to become a bitcoin trader.

Local exchange might not have enough trading orders and also there is no borders for crypto currencies so no need to limit ourselves into our country only while trading bitcoin. You can checkout the coinmarket cap to see where bitcoin was traded mostly and can decide which will work for you.

Let the local exchange grow for now, because I am pretty sure that traders with the same nationality as you would be trading in large exchange.  It could be quite convenient to have some local exchange because buying Bitcoin into it won't be that kind of difficult to you since they'll provide option to make you pay in some local established stores to buy Bitcoin.
But local exchange may undergo regulations which is against the decentralization so at that time people will look for the alternatives right.I am not saying don't use local exchange but there is no borders here we can choose whatever we want.

There are other direct and easy measures than going through this process and that is by using a BTM which takes you Bitcoin and spits out cash. Simple is that. BTM has a very simple way of doing things. If you already have an account on an exchange, you could easily scan the QR code and get cash for your Bitcoin. If you want to get Bitcoin into your phone, you could do the same procedure but have to pay from your bank account.

It's no problem to trade in the local exchanges because he will try to make a profit for the first time before he can be able to trade in the global exchanges. He can learn the basics from the local exchanges first until he can understand how to search the right price and right moment to trade. Besides that, I think if he gets the profit, he can try to withdraw his profit directly to his bank account or send the balance to local sellers that I am sure it's available too.

I believe that at this point you should not trade bitcoin

We can all see that bitcoin prices are correcting very little and there is a strong signal on the H1 chart. I believe that bitcoin prices will fall sharply in the near future.
