But in return, they are asking for personal information and a kyc. 25$ worth your kyc is something debatable.

Coinbase too is providing a similar Stellar airdrop for learning about Stellar. Last time I checked, they promised to provide $50 worth of stellar for every accounts. They have now placed me in waiting list. I'm not a KYC verified user in Coinbase and they have no info whether we need to provide KYC or not.

There is also some people said that blockchain is giving away 50 USD worth of XLM. I don't know if it's because they have received before the price increased or just trying to make it more interesting. But I think XLM price didn't double yet.

Actually you over exaggerated this airdrop, it's been around for a while and the actual value is 25$ not 40$ you stated, and moreover you won't be able to get any if you aren't ready to drop your Identity card or drivers license

I am sure it is a lie because what we get is xlm worth 25 dollars and not 40 dollars, and it is an old program from blockchain.com.but I salute you because this program is running long and is still valid

It seems they are too selective or very strict with their checks. I have since submitted my KYC after a lot of convictions but since I have not been credited and it is close to a month. Don't waste much time if you have other things you are doing with your time

As far as I am aware, they are not giving away $40. Instead they are giving away $25. Now there is still a catch. You will have to verify yourself by providing your personal information and identification. Its more like you are selling your information for just $25. Do you really think your information worth only $25?

It has already been shared for hundreds times and people have claimed it. However, I don't think it is worthy to comppete KYC for some bucks. In addition, if I'm correct, you will receive the money after 2 or more months later.

Have you ever stored any funds on their wallets? My friend (who never stored any funds there and his wallet is new) have done the KYC proccess but took long time (almost 2 months) to be approved. Meanwhile, I have ever used their wallet for transacting and get approved + credited XLM within just 2 days.

I have successfully submitted my documents long ago but it is still showing "in review". Looks like they are taking too much time to process my verification. Such a waste of time for $25 worth of crypto. My documents are at stake now.

I don't think it's worth to give your personal information to someone, especially it only costed them 25$ to acquire someone's personal information, you don't know what will they do with those personal information they have.

Once, I went through many steps and procedure just to claim just few dollars worth of tron tokens. But tron tokens never came to my way. So I am always skeptic about such offering. And want to stay away from them. But I will definitely see it.

Before someone could proof that this website will NEVER sell or send the personal data to someone else, I will not suggest to do this KYC only for 50 or 25 dollars....
It's only for 2-3 meals but you never know how they could use your KYC..

Definitely not worth the risk. Here in India, the government is coming up with more restrictive regulations for dealing with crypto-currency. Back in 2017-18, they sent income tax notices to more than 100,000 individuals who were suspected to be crypto users. Now I am not going to upload my ID documents and risk being called up by the IT department just for $25.

The airdrop of 25$ XLM has been running since last year and most people have been benefiting from the scheme. But I personally find it ridiculous to give out my confidentiality information for only a $25 reward.

For many who urgently need a little cryptocurrency, this is probably the way out. Because not everyone can receive cryptocurrency so easily. I think it’s better than giving up your documents for a bounty which then sells them on the black market.

This particular airdrop have been trending for quite a while now and it intially it was a bit difficult for most people to do it but it has been simplified and majority are now doing but seriously I don't think I would want to give up my Personal details for such a tiny token

They give away a huge amount of money, but most of that money will go to cheaters, who use thousands of fake documents to KYC.

The KYC requirement is primarily there to make sure that people are not signing up multiple times to the same bounty. Until someone creates a blockchain application that can vouch for your uniqueness without giving away all your personal information you should expect to have to provide your ID to participate in airdrops or bounty campaigns.

I didn't participate but if I'm correct it's not that much possible to verify a lot of users since you need to prove in every way that you are the real owner. People may try but will be failed in most case cheating a giveaway like this.

There are much more ways to get a stellar airdrop. First of all, you can join the giveaway from blockchain, but you need to verify your identity. Secondly, you can pass the KYC by Coinbase and join the waitlist to get 50 bucks worth of Stellar.

Indeed is only 25$, some of my friends done and get it, but i don't know if to do or no, maybe worth and maybe the documents are safe and never they hold them and are on emcrypted sites, i try on coinbase but i not get nothing yet.

Not a good idea to sell the document and personal information for 25$ worth of XLM. There are no other requirements for getting the 25$ airdrop amount. I never sell my identity for few bucks.

There's still people who do practice anonymity and refused to provide personal information, they are aware that $25 might not be fit to give
their identity, but if you are comfortable doing that it's your choice, I do see this before and see that there's forum members who already
get the rewards like yours and some still waiting for the approval of their documents.

I passed the KYC verification, I received a confirmation response, but after I applied for the XLM.  A letter came to the post office that an error occurred and they cannot explain the reason because they care about my safety. Appeal in support did not lead to anything. The wallet is good, there are no complaints, but with such antics they spoil the reputation.

I joined this airdrop a few months ago. It is 25 USD, not 40 USD. At least it was 25 USD when I received XLM. Now is around 15 USD because the price is lower than before.

First of all, passing the KYC is very easy on the main site of blockchain.info. The only thing you need is a laptop with a quality camera and your documents. They ask your real name, surname, date of birth. After filling the form you are forwarded to take a photo of the document with the camera and that's all.

$40 is good if it's not require KYC. I don't exchanges my Identity to $40 only but if it's thousands dollars and up as faster as I can I will submit all information. You are one of those who give out their whole life information just for peanuts, do you have any idea why they asked for the informations no but because it is free money you jumped at it, even if it could cost your freedom you don't care.

You are doing it anyway every year. If you have a bank account you had to go through KYC. If you have been to a doctor or in a hospital you did it. If a police stops your car you have to do give them your ID. Many people give their real name when they set up emails or social media accounts.

KYC is normal. I don't support it and wouldn't give my information for 25 dollars but I know that many entities have my data.

Indeed, but here you have to remember that these 25$ are really worth 25$ because of how big market cap and daily volume is on XLM.

It's true they really gave airdrop if they passed the KYC form and were approved by Blockchain but not $ 40 but only $ 25 maybe $ 40 was given to those who invited people to do KYC so they got an additional bonus, but so far I only know $ 25 and is it worth exchanging for personal data? for me it's not feasible because it's very cheap to get user data and we don't know whether it's safe or not?

I am not sure what these people are up to but based on the comments  here one have to take caution about this so called free xlm because it actually referred me to app store when i clicked the link provided apparently to download a particular app but I retreated because of what I've read about kyc . For me the KYC process takes longer time to review. I sent my documents for over 2 weeks and up till now, it's still in review. Still don't know what the issue may be bit not sure it's same with most people. Tired of KYC and letting out our private information

I can not precisely tell which companies are located in Malta but I can from my own experience say that good cloud mining is Eobot. A lot of people do not agree with giving their details for just 25$ so many people didn’t do it that’s what it may be new to some people. The KYC requirements for this airdrop are crazy. If you want to make $25 it would be easier if you just put on some old clothes and sit on the street corner with a cap in your hand. At least you won't have to give up your ID for it

They are making it free because it is an "airdrop".
But in reality, it's likely they are paying for the identities in terms of KYC+airdrop combination.
Many still don't see and understand what they are trying to implement.

This airdrop works well. But i took it when BTC was at a higher price and now stellar value has fall like other altcoins. This airdrop was like this at the beginning of stellar they were already asking for kyc. But this airdrop is better than the Electroneum mining simulation which asks selfies and only gives 0.005 usd per day.

This airdrop or giveaway from blockchain users are going around for a long time right now. I don't really think that I can give my identity for XLM and not in that amount of 25$. But still thank you for sharing it to us many of newbie didn't know about this I guess.

You would need to comply with KYC before you can get those airdrop of XLM on coinbase and also if you are US citizen.Therefore,that airdrop isnt open for anybody.

About on blockchain stellar giveaway this is just only $25 but you would need to pass up documentation for verification which isnt really worth it at all.For those who dont

Worth it or not worth it depends on people. Maybe people from rich country which their daily income more than 25 USD won't agree to do ID verification. But somewhere in a poor country, there are a lot of people willing to give their identity even for 5 USD because with that they can buy some food.

Honesly, I did on blockchain. Doesn't mean that my identity is just worth of 25 USD and  they can sell mine to other parties, but because I trust them, that they would not do so.

This practice of literally exchanging sensitive personal data in exchange for stipends is becoming a trend in the crypto space and i fear we will sooner or later see drastic effects and harm such practices can cause.. I just hope it won't further retort the image of the crypto community.

Then there are other requirements attached to it, part of which is that you will be required to submit your personal details in fomr of kyc.

This airdrop is better than normal known KYC required airdrops in my opinion. Electroneum mining applications don't require any personal information as far as I know.

Yes did you just say it is $40? Lol, they are giving $25 and you will also have to verify your identity before they will airdrop the $25 worth if Stellar (XLM) to your Blockchain wallet. Oh and I can remember that my friend already done that and they didn’t give him any $25 XLM and they just declined it and saying that he can’t try again.

I just don’t trust them, maybe it is working for others but I think for me it is a big risk. This is not an easy task. For some peoples, giving identity is hard because their identity can be misused by other peoples.
I think it is not a worth activity to show other peoples your identity just for few bucks.
The stellar airdrop should give the reward just by registering and email confirm.

Where did you get your calculation from? The airdrop is $25 are you trying to get referrals? Anyways it is a dubious way of getting people to do something for you by lying to them.

I am not sure how many of the people try this. Actually if you verify your KYC details you will be able to receive that XLM to your blockchain wallet. This could have explain more precisely at the OP itself but did not.

I hope airdrop participants may take this opportunity but the real investors never try such actions on any wallets. Make use of it if you do not have any problem on sharing KYC.

no, i think it is not a scam. kyc is now required by some governments to prevent money laundering and so on. in addition, kyc makes it very easy to link stellar and bitcoin addresses to one person. i think this information is also valuable.

Haha..yeah it may not be worth it but we should note that many of us have participated in so many different bounty programs and ICOs with KYC with sone nit paying us at all or ending up as scam. For blockchain wallet, we know they're "legit" and so our data may he safe there. Nevertheless you're right, your personal info is your personal info abd it should be private.

Thats why all good airdrops that are giving away real money / tokens with real value require KYC to protect themselves against multi-account abuse.

Problem with some KYC is they might not go through and you end up wasting your time and even if it goes through then i will say 25$ worth is seriously not bad money since is airdrop and likely free if you look at it from a good perspective

I don't want to risk my identity for such a small amount. It doesn't worth to send documents to the unknown companies for getting XLM airdrop. Personal documents are personal and it can be used for illegal stuff.

just what i thought , this xlm airdrop is still from the blockchain . i have done this before and i dont recieve anything on my blockchain account  . my account is already verfied  .  some guys say its about kyc but blockchain dont ask me a  kyc either before they present this free xlm  .

Blockchain as been giving out $25 worth of xlm for each person that successfully passed their platform verification, I guess this is another way for Blockchain to advertise their wonderful platform, kudos to the team.

I don't think this is a good move. I do not like the fact that people created wallets just because they earned some 25 dollars. many people created dozens of wallets in order to get free coins just to sell them on the market right away. This is not good for the coin price

yeah, i did kyc for along time ago for that stellar. until now i never got approved or decline my kyc, about 1 mount waiting. i have wrong or anything, i dont know, seems they have busy away for alot of people do for them airdrop.

$25 or $40, I wouldn't sacrifice my personal identity for that amount. Also, if after so many months of waiting and still nothing gave you that particular amount, then think twice. It is not easy to give away $25 without favor in return. If they are testing the site or enhancing the platform, why not give free stellar coins instead?

KYC is required to use their new feature "coin swap", I think giving away free crypto is their marketing strategy to get more customers.
Without KYC your annual swap limit is $1000 and with KYC your daily swap limit is $25.000

I haven't yet open the link that you had shared, But based on my review of these topic the majority opinion said thats its not $40 but $25. Before you could get your $25 they were asking you KYC, so its not good for me and also unto others. I dont want  to share my personal data for just small value or even how much it is.

This is some kind of stupidity if you will submit your personal identification worth 25$ only. This is ridiculous actually, or it maybe to some people here are kind of insulting to them. Our personal information is very important matter actually, this shouldn't be give easily unless if you are going to receive a huge profit, that might a valid reason I guess.

I wouldn't give away my personal dates for 25$ in Stellar either. It's certainly interesting for some people, but it's not interesting for me. I was against KYC from the beginning and that will certainly not change. I don't have anything to hide, but I don't send my personal data through the internet. There is already enough data collected about all of us, that has to be enough.  :)

It was 40usd being stated by OP but to.give the identity is much more precious than receiving money. I have join some projects in ICO and promoting it with KYC but I never did any KYC on which it has a high level of doing it. This is why most of the time.if possible I will not join a project to which bounty manager requires a bounty hunter to do KYC.

It's 25$ XLM that's been given for a while after completing the kyc on your blockchain account. In my opinion, this contravenes the principle of anonymity which cryptocurrency is meant to achieve. If you believe that your privacy is worth 25$, then go sell it.

I distrust airdrops that requiring KYC for it to be receive. Even though it is a legit site for other users. Also I have read some replies that the KYC verification is still pending and from that, it already shows some shady acts.

KYC on the blockchain wallet is needed to get instant exchange so users can buy their needs, regarding airdop must be KYC for a long time cause some users are worried about using multy accounts. You can use a document that will expire soon and never use a national passport. This significantly reduces the risks, but they are still there.

Because the documents will expire soon does not make it any less dangerous to have your informations given to the wrong hands, they are not after the documents expiry date all they need is your personal information, except your names, gender, date of birth, and address all has an expiry date then it doesn't matter if you provide them with outdated documents, Informations they would get from such documents is enough to cause wreck whatever havoc they want to.

isn't that long? already almost half a year ago there were and not 40 dollars but only around 25 dollars and it was not instant because it took quite a long time for Kyc. It has been claimed by many people but until now airdrop blockchain still exists.

They may sell identities once they show themselves as scam and I see some replies that there are still pending KYCs. KYC verification only last below 24 hours. If this is real then show some proof that it is legit.

Maybe, the blockchain has the  price of XLM for about 50dollar before, if in that case, this post is not updated yet, then maybe they've just changed the price again to maintain their pool stability to meet their target. But anyways, I am still not convinced to provide my identity for that amount.

Is your identity worth just 40 USD? What if they get this info into a darkweb market and sell it over there. KYC must be submitted to only projects or websites that is highly reputable in terms of keeping clients database safe.

The top exchanges KYC have already sold our data on the darkweb, so I don't think the solution is to stick to reputable exchanges. These are the biggest targets of data leaks.
The question remains how much are your documents worth. If you want to sell/withdraw thousands of $, then it's probably worth having your ID sold online. $40, probably not.

It doesn't worth to sell my personal documents for $25 Stellar Lumen coin. A blockchain wallet is great for everyday use and small daily transactions but it is not secure as a MYcelium wallet in my opinion. I never send my face and ID to the companies that can track me.

My country is supported and my documents are valid but still it shows "verification in progress". Now I'm hating myself for providing my documents without anything in return.

This was actually from a reputed company Blockchain.com. I've personally used their wallets since many years. I've trusted them very much. So I didn't think much about their KYC. Whatever it's a lesson learnt now: "Think twice before handling personal documents to someone".

You will earn more money , and the result is the same - your data will get to unknown persons and that with them you will not know.
