This is friggin awesome!! The commercials are already starting back up. This new commercial is really good, its staright up Hollywood, its from a publicly traded company on the stock exchange @stockpicksnyc and @melt_dem shared the commercial on twitter today along with a few others. The commervial already has over 40,000 views so maybe over 100k by tomorrow if more people retweet and share it. The video is actually kinda funny so I can see it getting over a million views easy

Maybe it would actually be a great idea to link the commercial itself? :P

So they want to re-brand Bitcoin and turn it into a new gold. It is certainly the simplest way a marketer has to sell Bitcoin. I do not know if that is enough, but it is something that draws attention and can attract more qualified investors who could over time come to think of one or the other.

i find it a little bit absurd because it is advertising bitcoin but it is really advertising the company. while bitcoin is decentralized,  boarder-less and all that was said, the company itself is not a way for people to invest in bitcoin really, it is an indirect exposure to bitcoin without actually owning any bitcoin. so you basically pay the company and buy their IOUs instead of buying bitcoin.

Just throwing it out there, I like bitcoin more than gold, because I know who owns most of the gold.

but when shit hits the fan, people will be trading gold again not bitcoin. I am sorry to say as much as I want bitcoin to replace fiat and gold, it won`t. I am one of the few people who sees 1 bitcoin = 1 bitcoin and could careless what fiat is doing.

Lol, $100k tomorrow? It doesn't work that way dude, As much as we love people promoting bitcoin in different social media outlet to raise awareness, it doesn't mean that bitcoin will suddenly increased in the coming days.

There are thousands of youtube videos as well, but if you look at the subscribers and total views, not that much. We need institutional money to come in if we really wanted to see the price goes to the moon again.

I am so sorry because I don't share the tweet in my twitter account because I really love bitcoin than others. Is that a new project you are trying to promote? If yes, then I don't think that it will easy to beat the other coin ;D
Gold will have a place for people, and so that happens too with bitcoin.
Let people choose what they want. Meanwhile, you could promote your project in other social media to gain more viewers and investor.

So it is official that people see bitcoin as digital gold then? Well, I am a bit disappointed since IMO it is not the same or replacement/substitute. However, if the advertisement is legal and can be broadcasted by mainstream media, I think it is beneficial to the cryptocurrency community.

but it doesn't seem to be "promoting Bitcoin" though! it is just a company that is advertising their business to get more customers giving them their money in the name of bitcoin. and there is a big distinction here. not to mention that even if it is promoting bitcoin, it is promoting it as an investment that is going to make you rich! and that is not good ever in my opinion. we need to only promote bitcoin as a decentralized currency not something to help you make more fiat (profit)!

The promotion is away to create more awareness of bitcoin which will cause more increase for the promoter because of traffic.

If we are not, what is the purpose that we buy bitcoin and hodl? I don't believe people buy it knowing that price will fall, they rather buy with expectation that price will go up for them to sell or continue hodlng as price keep raising.

Did he say something about bitcoin price dude? Read his post once again carefully, he is clearly saying about the number of view of the commercial video instead of bitcoin price.
As some others has said already, I have to agree that it is not an advertising video of bitcoin but it is advertising the dropgold project.

no, not everyone. a lot of people are here to make profit and their numbers have grown in the past couple of years compare to early years where people were mostly interested in what bitcoin offers but there still are a great number of people who are interested in bitcoin itself not fiat.
bitcoin offers a good financial sovereignty that nothing else can offer you and that is why we want it. of course the profit is a good bonus too, nobody can deny that but it is secondary to many of us.

Thanks for the link and I was able to watch it. It's surprising yet I didn't see that it's straightly promoting Bitcoin but as they tell a lot about it, I could see a good thing in it because at least, people will be able to understand what Bitcoin really is especially for those who are completely clueless about it.

Bitcoin doesn't have to be sold to anyone. People should realize  why they need crypto and what are its features. Also they would know if they need to use Bitcoin or not. If someone have to push users to buy a cryptocurrency then this currency is not that strong as we need.

Gold is constantly increasing in price and till the last time Bitcoin did almost the same thing. Just guess how meny people would buy BTC if they were sure that it won't bring them any monetary gains.

I liked this ad way more than the new one. This one focuses on the importance of getting equal access to the financial industry, and a chance to get rid of the banks that failed and charged us many times. The new ad, however, is just about investing and becoming rich. It's not what Bitcoin is about. And no investment is a safe investment, whereas the ad, of course, forgets to mention it. I also agree with pooya87 that it's not really advertising Bitcoin as such, it's leading people to a specific company. Nevertheless, I believe all sorts of ads are important to make Bitcoin more popular.

I liked the video but it promotes grayscale bitcoin trust not bitcoin itself, and I believe Bitcoin does not need to be promoted in such ways. Bitcoin, to me, has no chance against gold since it is only 10 years old.

As of now, it reaches 142k views. And yeah, the idea was great and quite interesting but if you don't really listen carefully to what it saying, you won't understand it. Just seeing golds and running. They should've include some parts where they showed people were using bitcoin. But still great ad and it surpasses your expectation for the views.

Crazy its past like 140k views, i got a feeling this hits 1M views in less than a week at this pace. Also i noticed a little difference in the price action for Bitcoin today. Its going straight up, heavy buying pressure.

And thats not all, you guys wont beleive this but State Farm the car insurance company just aired a commercial on national television mentioning cryptocurrency.

The digital gold is here and it is called as Bitcoin. The ad is very convincing but those of us here in this industry know them already...what we need is to spread the same message to more and more people so they can think and decide to be a part of the digital gold revolution. Unlike traditional platform, Bitcoin is not actually heavily promoted because there is no centralized organization dealing with its marketing department. |So it is always nice to see promotional materials focusing on Bitcoin. I am looking forward for more ads like this.

Gold is different with bitcoin and they shouldnt or we shouldnt call bitcoin a gold or the new kind of gold because bitcoin is a currency while gold is an asset  but these two can be use as a currency and asset at the same time depending on the situation or depending on the user that will be using it  . @op thats another good news  . bitcoin video promotions are verry rare these days but thanks to the people behind this for making the comercial possible  .

start with large platforms that have long been in business like binance. but if you have not tried to trade yet, I would advise to go to the taklimakan, there are collected materials for novice traders. first of all, you need to invest in knowledge, and then in the crypt.

I don't think this is a Bitcoin advertisement.

I mean we all know that this is not for the good of Bitcoin, right? It is for the good of the people, the company or the organization behind that advertisement, the one who paid for that. So, how can we say that it is a Bitcoin advertisement, it should be the advertisement for their Bitcoin wallet so I think your title is misleading.

As an increase in Bitcoin awareness, any ad is good, even if it is an indirect ad for Bitcoin. Many of my acquaintances met Bitcoin thanks to short references to him in the press, in some videos, and so on.

yes, I understand you. I went through it myself. when everyone around is so confident in crypto trading, and you come and ashamed to ask questions. Personally, can't see that as great as you think, because what i see on the video simply explained the reason why you have to hold gold rather than hold Bitcoin. They are advertising for another fork; i think, becasue if their intentions were on Bitcoin, they wouldn't have made the video solely for Gold and not Bitcoin. Although whatever crypto they choose to promote, we hope it affect the entire market price for good.

Wow,,, only three days old and already that many views, plus that is just the video itself. Who knows how many people watched it also on TV? I did not see it and probably will not see it even though I am subscribed to a few American business channels, but I guess there will be hundreds of thousands more who have seen the ad. It is nothing great and does not explain Bitcoin,,, but the exposure itself must mean something for the industry!
