Title: Mt. Gox Cold Storage? Post by: tkbx on March 13, 2014, 11:51:28 AM If I remember correctly, Mt. Gox claimed to have 90-something percent of their Bitcoin in cold storage, just like Coinbase, right? Was this just an outright lie? Or am I remembering incorrectly?
Title: Re: Mt. Gox Cold Storage? Post by: nikkisnowe on March 13, 2014, 02:08:17 PM It was either a lie or else Karpeles or a group of insiders stole from a cold wallet. Who knows? Gox says, they stored their cold storage wallet too close to the "hot wallet". It sprung a leak, and they are now insolvent. I'm sure spontaneous wallet leaks are a "bug" in bitcoin. Title: Re: Mt.
