Title: What is the meaning of this Warning? Has it been applied recently? Post by: btcsmlcmnr on May 03, 2019, 01:09:25 PM I saw the Warning today, and this is my first time I saw it, so I don't know it is a new kind of Warning or it actually been here long time ago.

I remember this used to be the exact warning on the gambling section. Quote Warning: You are in the Gambling section. You are likely to eventually lose any money that you gamble/"invest". It has been there for a while though i don't visit those boards so often, i remember seeing it a couple of times. Not sure of the exact date it was put there but it has been long known that moderators do not remove likely scams as it may put lots of work on them to identify, analyze and remove scamSomeone who know about the meaning and its launch time, please help me. So usually community members come up themselves to identify scam and try to report to mods however, not all threads are deleted. Therefore, it's just a warning to members not to assume that all posts that appear in those boards are scam free as mods may have missed out on some of them. One must do due diligence. Its purpose is to warn because of the nature of that section is built on investment and Ponzi schemes (Securities.)
