Title: Finally made it back but have to start as a newbie
Post by: TheMarketAnarchist on November 10, 2011, 12:08:23 AM
Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to take the time to introduce myself (again). I've been on the forums for about six to eight months but, because I lost control of my email account, I could never reset my password or retreive the email the board mods sent with new passwords after the hack. Hence, I'm forced to start over.

Anyway, I'm an anarcho-capitialist who's excited about Bitcoin. I own a small software and IT services firm, keep my life fairly mobile, and am looking at leaving my home country (the USA) as soon as possible. Right now, most of what I do is contract IT related but I also work with a lot of video and do some IT education stuff (like offering a course on encryption).

Anyway, politically, I started as a conservative Republican, morphed into a Libertarian, and now lean more towards anarcho-capitialism. I still hold a bit of hope for the Libertarian party so I'm still there for now but it might not be long until I just give up on voting entirely.

So that's a bit about me. If I can help anyone with anything just let me know. I do offer my services for contract. In the meantime, I'll be working towards my posting requirement so I can get back into the community from exile.

Regards,
TMA

I think this guy could be white-listed ;)

I imagine I share a lot of distastes of the political environment and direction that the country is heading... but where exactly in the world would someone with such political ideals find a better home?

Believe it or not, there are a few places that seem to be a bit better than the US/Canada. Certain parts of Mexico, for example, offer a fairly high quality of life with little to no government involvement in daily life. Mexico is one of the places I'm seriously considering at the moment.
