About Swap

Swap [XWP] is a private and fungible CryptoNote based coin with 15 seconds block time, aiming to be the most fair, stable and efficient CryptoNote coin without any premine, governance fee, founders rewards or any other bullshit made to easily enrich the creators.

It is the first CryptoNote coin to integrate the Cuckaroo29s (variant of Grin's Cuckaroo29) PoW algorithm for fair mining. The change brings the Swap network superior protection and stability than the CryptoNight algorithm. Cuckaroo29s hashing improves verification speed substantially making block propagation much faster. Swap will stay close to Monero technology-wise while using a different PoW algorithm.

Differently from most of the cryptocurrency projects, Swap has ZERO premine, ZERO dev fees, and ZERO founders rewards. It's a community project after all, and that will never change.

Any buys under 3500 satoshis is a steal if you are long on XWP.

Since day 1 I decided i was going to buy any swap under 1k sats...

Back then it was via OTC sales, didn't think I'd get another chance now, going to stay a man of my word though if price falls any more  ;D

I think Swap will be going places. It's one of the coins that I have a lot of sympathy for, because I've seen its birth and the fairness of it. Current prices are not reflective of its qualities.

Something that I 100% agree. If price was an indicative for quality, most of the top 100 projects wouldn't be there at all.

Sorry guys, but I need to ask about something: Is this project developed sth really big and innovate for the crypto market or you're just speculating on future value of the project?

This is the market so there is always some speculation.  However if you notice we are slam dunking our ability to stay on top of the latest tech and roll out the features necessary to stay there.  Look at everything we have accomplished in such a short time, with just a few number of UNPAID volunteers.  How can you not bet on a team that delivers and takes NOTHING for doing so?

Well, the thread is mainly for price speculation and related matters.

I'm buying XWP every day bit by bit.. buy buy buy at market rate.. under 3600 sats I am buying as much as I can

People have been asking why has XWP's price been falling.  Well have you looked at other alts?  We are not alone.  Nothing has been compromised.  Our team is still here doing their thing and working behind the scenes to make things better.  Buy the dip.  ;)

Don't forget that a really bored and annoyed "moonboi" got tired and market dumped a considerable amount of XWP (and according to him, a lot more to be dumped) after a pointless rage quit of the discord.

For now the SWAP project is nice but it does not bring anything new. It's just a community fork of monero.

Here is the list of similar projects: Sumokoin, RYO, AEON, Boolberry, Wownero, ...

I'm not saying that the project is nil, but it would have to bring something to the cryptocurrency space to have a real value.

Not exactly 18 million total supply. Remember the Tail Emission.

Looking by that side, yes, inflation is really low... but eventualy, it'll overpass BTC max supply (somewhere around 2050  :D )
