Title: Has anyone else experienced this with Stake.com??
Post by: SevenSoft on May 12, 2019, 10:52:04 AM
I've had several instances of an incorrect balance being shown while playing at Stake.com. But it's difficult to tell how, when, or why the balance isn't correct. I've reported it to their support team on multiple occasions, but they generally make it appear like it's your own fault or that you just want them to give you something for free. I'm just curious if this is something anyone else has dealt with.

We cannot really see what's really happening on the picture, it says insufficient fund and your bet amount is covered with the pop-up message. And how is it incorrect balance? You have started an auto-bet, and the pop-up message says you currently have insufficient balance. Must be that the amount you have set in your auto-bet is not sufficient with the amount that you have. So, we cannot assume what really happened, care to share more detail, and you should've posted a screen-shot of their reply, instead of saying it here in your own words.

I am not sure this is the case, but I have a strong feeling it is.

On another gambling site, playing plinko aswell.

I have noticed that if i bet, say, 0.0001 BTC on a plinko game then if that bet wins me 0.001 BTC back, I can start playing with these winnings while my balance is still displaying 0 (or whatever i had in balance minus the bet i made) because the servers already credited the winnings before the animation plays through, and the balance display is updated.

I never experience play gambling at stake .com, but if think stake.com isn't fair or it might be you aren't satisfied the service it's better to find another site to play your gambling habits. With fair service to the users.

In my opinion base on what I see on your screenshot, you are playing on Auto bet which would surely you let the system take over for you and you have been betting 15 rows so it would sure conjure all of your ETH but as you can see there are a pop-up message that has said that the auto bet had started and have already been finished as well so I think that it is just a system error, I think I have a problem just like that but not the same as yours because I am just transferring money when the error pops up that I don't have enough balance on my wallet, Well after refreshing the site I have seen that the transaction was a success and maybe it is just a fluke on the system, Well that is just my experience while I am using the gambling site and at the same time joined the campaign, I also had experience that the services and support of stakes.com was quite accommodating and are very friendly as well.

Since you have never played on stake.com, then you have no right to say that stake.com isn't fair. It is one of the most trusted gambling site.
As far as op issue is concerned , it is not very clear from the image as he has started the autobet and some screenshot is covered by the messages. He can contact the support or even state his problem in the chat available on the site.

Addition to what you said. The problem was definitely systems errors base on the picture provided by OP because the auto bet actually went through but the network sent the request twice which is the reason why the pop window said the "You don't have enough balance to do that" cause the remain balance is not enough. But it will be better if the team are notify about the situation.

Never had this kind of problem when using their auto bet but i'm guessing it's a network problem. Their support probably doesn't know how to fix it since it doesn't occur on everyone or expects your problem to be fixed eventually thats why they return the problem to you.

Must be that the amount you have set in your auto-bet is not sufficient with the amount that you have.
If OP doesn't have sufficient balance while the auto bet is still enabled a small popup message would appear saying "auto bet finished" then below it "sufficient balance".

What's been mentioned in the thread is all about the issue with the error that happens with the balance while playing. I haven't experienced any such problem till date, and such issues get resolved once on a refresh. In recent days I've played much on stake, but most of the time I prefer dice where I haven't experienced any errors.

Did you finish reading what I have just said or you are just reading the first part? Base only on my experience with the Gambling site and I have indicated that it might have been because of a system error or system fluke that I guess sending some notification with the customer service must be provided, Well anyway nothing is perfect and stakes and doing what it can to make their service great and user friendly for everyone.

I did read the whole message you posted and I was elaborating how the while system errors happened which was the reason why I used the word "addition" to start. However, they will work round the clock to fix the errors if more users the notified them about the situation.

I never had that kind of experience but are you sure that you haven't accidentally bet it on other games?
I have been using Stake and all my transactions were smoothly processed. You should keep on asking for support's answer to your query. Stake is a very good site though so you should never doubt about it.

hey, bro, he didn't say that stake.com is unfair, but he just thinks without justifying it firmly and correctly when it comes to OPs who are not satisfied with the services they provide so to switch to another site it all depends on every taste if you feel comfortable if you don't switch to looking right for everyone's taste, nothing is cornered here explicitly but this is only an anticipation if something can happen either because of lack of service or from their mistakes then relax because this is not blame.

Bringing up the same problem multiple times to their support won't help OP since the problem isn't common. He'll receive the same answers and just annoy their support.

If OP was using more than one tab then the error could happen because the real balance doesn't show or update on all browser until it gets refreshed.

Ok so I saved this screenshot to send to stake.com's support and didn't think to give a little more background for you guys. I was playing auto-bet on plinko with 0.001 as a base bet I played from a single tab in google chrome without any other instance of my account being active on any other device. The auto-bet start dialogue is shown because I tried to restart my auto session once it quit and said insufficient balance, but my balance still showed more than enough for my bet. Basically there is no way to tell when stake started to incorrectly calculate my balance and they have no explanation for what happened other than it must have been something I did. This has happened multiple times and they always say I should make sure I had no other tabs open to my stake.com account or any other device logged in and active. I always play with a single tab open and nothing else going on in chrome because I like to avoid any lag. When this stopped and showed that balance I took the screenshot and then refreshed to find my balance 0.00076 ETH... That is a vast difference in calculation and I just want to know what the cause is and if there is anything being done about it.

Have you tried using stake.com on other browers(Firefox,Opera,Safari).Sometimes the problem might be in the browser(cache, extentions, cookies).Chrome can be really annoying with all the crashes and lagging.
Perhaps you have some tasks running in the background of Chrome or in your operating system that cause a lag.

Never faced any sort of problems with Stake on Chrome like you. Op clearly seems to have messed up somewhere since I never faced any such issues and I have been gambling on Stake for quite sometime now. Not sure about the other browsers though.

Wait for the response from support team,I guess there is some issues on the site but me personally never got any issues with the stake yet.You can report this issue on their ANN thread to get response from the right person.

I get this on computers with slow bandwidth and in certain browsers. The latent cache in some browsers does not adjust the balance under certain conditions. < I just refresh the website and the correct balance is shown>

Give us some more information, like what browser you are using and if it is the latest version and what internet connection you have, for us to give you better support and advice.

*The problems I had was with some of my people that I referred to the site.  ;)

I'm not playing in Stake.com but they have a massive promotion here in Bitcointalk and the last thing they will do is to ruin their platform with this kind of issue, so I guess it's the bandwidth is the culprit, but if it persists and some other players are also experiencing it, then they should address this, they have a telegram channel for this.

I tried to click the link and I was stuck in the loading part. It doesn't show me any content.

You know what? In the gambling industry, some people will actually take advantage of the support and that is the reasons why the support team is being like that to you. If you want, you can definitely try to have your logbook and put everything to the list so you can trace it. It is really hard to complain without any proofs like data and so on.
If it is due to system errors, then you just have to report it to them without asking them or initiate a request for compensation because it will actually make you an abuser.

I am using stake casino for like 3weeks now and have not encountered anything like this. I guess you are getting that because of the auto bet or maybe because you are betting 0 satoshis on autobet. I highly think its a problem with auto bet and not with balance. Hope support will see the problem or if more people come up with this issue then they can focus on this,

I have played at Stake before and I never seen any glitch or bug by their side regarding incorrect balance or not showing correct amount of money. It is most likely a problem from your side rather than theirs so you have to check things first, maybe a bot or autobets have made you experience this.

It is sad to see this kind of responses and the search engines on which fake sites are also running but you will experience then only when you start with it. Stake.com is a site which offers multiple games and many players are playing on this site and I hope they may not find any issue with this site. Most of the sites contain problems especially surfing problems you win a game and then after reloading the page you see nothing.

It seems like a glitch on the site or probably due to unstable network connection that makes a delay on the balance update. I have experienced it before but it can be fixed simply by reloading the page. Recently, I do not face any significant issues at Stake. Since there are few people experienced similar thing, so I think it is most likely due to internet connection problem. If it is a glitch on the site means that there should be many users are reporting the same thing.

That's what I was thinking, too. Since I can see at the screenshot that you have enough balance to play with. The things you will have to do is to refresh the page and restart the game and/or chat the support team and ask them why it popped up  to be insufficient funds while you have enough fund. They maybe give you an answer about your problem. Or maybe if you are using an auto bet, adjust your bet. Sometimes, it works.

Since you are posting this in the gambling section and not in their official thread you might not be getting the answers you are looking for
STAKE is know for good customer service so I would think they could resolve this bug fairly easily if you got to the correct person in charge
Im not so sure about the issue at hand having to do with a internet connection but each problem has a simple solution and this case is no exception.

This is one of the betting platform where there is a presentrd thread regarding with how the project run the bounty campaign. There are many negative feedbacks but of course that is part of reviews in every project. This reviews should be the basis for future development of the project.

Same is the case with me. I never noticed any abnormality in stake.com balance and it always showed me accurate balance. If anyone faces this issue once, he can logoff and login again. If the issue is a repeated one, contacting the support is the best option.

That is it and i think along what you said!  The problem has been solved and that is why op did not come back to update us. I will recommend that this thread should be lock in other to reduce spamming of the forum. Stake.com is now working fine and I have been playing dice over there for the past months without any problems.

I like stake.com, but i have no experience on online gambling, that's why i am not sure that it is happened or not, but if it is happened with you during playing game, then you should change the gambling site, may be the other one will be suit for you.
You like stakes and yet never played online gambling. This statement is like saying I like football but never touched a ball lol. If you have never played an online gambling and yet in love with states.com, that shows how reputable the site is. Stake is truly a good site and I believe any online gambler that has not played on the site is yet to begin gambling.

I understand the problem the guy had and it’s like he did an auto bet, not too sure of this but I am judging from the post. What it usually does is to help player play without order and considering that the player has played some rows, there’s is every tendency of that there will be conspiracy of all available Ethereum. I have never experienced this problem but I can relate absolutely.

I'm just curious if this is something anyone else has dealt with.

I have seen a lot of football lovers who only love the sports and never played themselves. But I think gambling is not something like that. If anyone like gambling he should play it too.

Anyways stake is one of my favorite site and these are the few sites where you can play will full confidence without any risk of  scamming etc.

I sometimes played on stake.com out of curiosity, this post was posted May and this is July and so by now the bug has been fixed, so far I have never experienced that, but if you have a poor connection you will suffer lag in updating your bet and of course your balance.

It can still happen sometimes. I experience this issue when I play stake in two different browsers. Like I am playing auto dice on one, and poker on the other. I do this when there are race competitions. Sometimes the balance does not update on one browser.

I never experience play gambling at stake .com, but if think stake.com isn't fair or it might be you aren't satisfied the service it's better to find another site to play your gambling habits. With fair service to the users.
They are one of the most trusted team in the crypto gambling space if you are not aware of it, it is a sister site to primedice and no one will raise any doubt against them. OP had some issues and hopefully it is being sorted out, i am playing in stake since its inception and never had an issue till now

It is a realistic possibility that your balance will not be updated in real time if you are playing with two browsers  ;D.

@OP might have sorted out his issue as he never responded after that, this topic must be locked now.

it happend to me sometimes  . ive been also using two different browsers , one is chrome and one is the stock browser on my phone  . i think its on the side of stake  . try refreshing the page and clearing your browsers cache to fix the problem  .

i agree on eaLiTy  , stake is also one of the trusted gambling because it has the same owner as primedice but stake is only new , this is why many gamblers are doubting on its credibility .

I believe that those game resources that are the most popular on bitcointalk, they are the highest rated among users of cryptocurrency.  Now many are trying to try something new, but in the field of gambling is a big risk.

I really don't experience that kind of situations but if it is happening then probably the disadvantage also that to make the site more trusted so I think if some problems when going on then the support will be important from the side of the site management.

Since you have never played on stake.com, then you have no right to say that stake.com isn't fair. It is one of the most trusted gambling site.
Totally agreed on why you’ve said about stake.com mate because just like primedice the system company and and owner, stake is one of the most reputable gambling site in this community and I guess if there areome mistake there it was a computer error(or maybe there’s no really an error)

As far as op issue is concerned , it is not very clear from the image as he has started the autobet and some screenshot is covered by the messages. He can contact the support or even state his problem in the chat available on the site.
Yeah support will surely have answer on this one as the support of primedice and stake is very active and answering all queries as soon as possible

IIRC Stake campaign has ended around a month ago due to many complains through their decision even though they have set new rules. All of their participants got paid since i have no see any person who created scam accusation about their signature payment.

Not sure what are you trying to say on here (OP just had problem with his balance which didn't show correctly)

I have never experienced such a problem also, several times using auto bet but never experienced that problem and a notification appeared as the OP said. if you use enough balance to gamble it clearly concerns the network and the system. if support does not answer it just pm Stephen in the telegram maybe they will help, or try using another account if it still has the same problem, then ask for the help in the support.

I only played one straight week on Stake.com and have not encountered any issue at all, but they do update from time to time and I've experienced that, it's important that you refreshed your page I log in to my dashboard on Stake and played some mine games and no problem or issue at all.
