I see XRP price increase up to 20.37% on coinmarketcap, i think its amazing and the highest percentage increase compared to other altcoins.

Don't chase your trade yet, the price may drop eventually so do wait after all XRP behaves that way. I didn't expect it to pump that fast, it would have been a quick profit too.

Not so quick because of XRP still less than $0.5 but if somehow, XRP can increase more than $1, then that will rises in quick, and I am sure that we will make a big profit especially if we have a large amount of XRP. I want to see XRP can increase more than $1 again like the last few years because that means, my profit will bigger again. There are news about a so called "xRapid announcement" regarding Ripple.I don't know what that means but might boost the ripple price even more.I'm not familiar with the ripple network,but I think that xRapid has something to do with lowering liquidity costs of the financial institutions that had already adopted XRP.

It all boils down to BTC movement, currently we have seen BTC goes on another massive spike, and now altcoins market rides the waves. To be fair, not only XRP but also majority of the altcoins are also on a dramatic rise, so there are no surprises here, ETH had crossed that mental barrier of $200 and still going strong.

It is still to be seen if we see a major Altcoin rally. So far Alts have lost significantly against BTC. Once the BTC rally pauses, Alts will truly shine. Problem is nobody knows when the time has come  ::)

I guess there was an influx of new money and demand from NY which caused the massive spike in the price. Might be a good time to cash out some profits, I mean, its value increased in both USD and satoshi levels, you'd be crazy not to enjoy those massive gains.

Its a very good sign that some alts are on a frenzy again, XRPs massive gain may be due to the simple fact that it is the cheapest top 3 coin which attracts new investors. It simply feels better to spend 100 dollars on 300 XRP than on 0.015 BTC

I think not because of anything other than because of the impact of changing market conditions, many coins have increased without any positive issues or new developments from the project, they did what they used to do, many did not provide new innovations or breakthroughs that could trigger increase prices but they experience price increases so they are all due to the impact of changing market conditions

When there was another coin a huge increase but when this trend created by bitcoin and ethereum does it. Ripple will follow it. this is the cycle about how the crypto works in these days. I don't think this is something we have to be surprised about, unless we are new to the Crypto space which is very unlikely, once we begin to see a bull run in the price of bitcoin, other top 50 coins most of the time follow this bull, because whales love to invest in Crypto when there is bull run and they don't really focus on one coin but could invest in any top coin in coinmarketcap, this is why we also see a growth in altcoins once there is growth in bitcoin.

XRP is blowing so fast, I think 0.6 $ is next target. I regret not buying it earlier when I saw accumulation stage, but I think there will be a chance to pick it up after correction.

Frankly speaking, I don't want to invest XRP since I know that it is not a decentralized project and it is manipulated on India country. based on my monitoring in my trust application XRP grew + 29% (in 1 month) and + 41% (in the last 1 week) this clearly shows that growth on XRP continues to occur even though it's slow, and if the price of Bitcoin continues to grow I'm sure XRP will also grow too, positive signal.

XRP was not reacting immediately to BTC and the market increase but in last days Ripple has also joined the bullish run. XRP has many banks supporters and lot of capital backing it.

Maybe the sharp rise of bitcoin is causing this sustained rise of XRP, it is very normal, because Bitcoin while rising without making any correction, this causes the altcoins in general begin to be interpreted as a bullish trend, which generates in all the investors of both bitcoin and altcoins and XRP open step or green light to invest a lot more because the trend should be exploited.

This happens for that reason of the market that offers us, however, we must always emphasize that volatility can play good and bad moves, because many times the bitcoin can go back, and XRP will follow, because XRP has a graph similar to the bitcoin, but if the bitcoin movement is pushed up, XRP will take big jumps and its value will go up much faster.

This is the scenario that I saw in XRP increase as if you are going to look for the coinmarketcap right now, the bitcoin goes down and almost all the other currencies goes down also including XRP. It's current price right now is 0.386$ with a -14% which is almost identical to bitcoin price which is -9.59%.

All popular coins are on a decline following the bitcoin correction. XRP's rise days ago was obvious. XRP was the last top coin to rise as most other coins rise up following bitcoin's dramatic pump. It will be interesting how deep this correction. I am ready to btfd. ;D

That is right, virtually all top altcoins have been rising generally and not XRP alone, ethereum is even the highest of them all, because of the way it is mooning. I guess people are just simply following the rule of investing in coins that are at the top of coinmarket and that are why some of these projects other than bitcoin and Ethereum are also getting a spike in their value.

If we carefully take not that it is only top alts that are really following and other alts below the tops are not much responding to call of Bull run, those ones are strictly waiting for when alts season will come and start their own run.

I think there is no comparison between XRP and Bitcoin. Looks like we have passed the highest pump on Jun 22, 2019 yesterday where XRP can reach prices up to $ 0.50 and now it looks like there is more movement after experiencing the lowest decline of up to $ 0.29 at 17 July yesterday ... and today has reached $ 0.32 hopefully will continue to move up.

This is a question I have in general, and not just for the rise that started this thread - for a high cap coin, XRP does seem to have really sudden price movements that are not related to news about the project, it's behaviour that is normally associated with much smaller coins. I'm not sure how it happens with XRP, as it should really take huge volumes to cause such significant sudden movement.

So, again Ripple has given you the buying opportunity at the base level. So, hold your XRP tight as you know this coin ranked 3rd and maybe it will show you a big growth in the year 2020.

As far as i concern mate extent your patience of holding xrp, it's normal sometimes we need to accept the loses investin in crypto. And nobody can tell when will they continue to dumping it's depends on the market situation and demands pf the xrp investors.

I do not think it is because of some news or some factor but, if BTC increases altcoins fall and then raise and when BTC falls altcoins also go through a bearish market. What I am trying to explain is that BTC price in a majority of the cases is effecting altcoin price. That is not called advertising campaigns, it is known as Guerrilla marketing where XRP tries capturing market through creating fear of missing out feeling among investors. But such strategy doesn't sustain for long and that is the reason why XRP has been dumped over by 90% in last series of months.

This coin has a huge supply and every time XRP increases, there will be a lot of investors selling so XRP in the past 1 year did not have much improvement in price. I don't like the way the coin is developed because XRP development team now holds more than 10% of the supply and they can sell any time they want.
