Welcome to my thread. Personally i feel really bad when i found "lovesmayfamilis" (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1982152) ban thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5141782.0). It has been almost 5 days her account got banned and i haven't seen any response from from our forum admin. personally I want to request our admin theymos to unban "lovesmayfamilis" I have created this thread because i believe she was a good contributor of this forum and specially worked very hard to detect scammers. As far as i know admin confirmed in the past that if anyone feel that someone should be unban then he/she can create a thread with exact reason. That is the main reason why i have created this thread. If you think that a ban should be ended, make your case in a new topic from a "good for the forum as a whole" perspective. Why i think good for the forum as a whole ? Yeah i agree that she has made mistakes in her past but in comparison with her contribution her mistakes is smaller in my humble opinion. Although i am not a well reputed member but I have seen that she has a real caring mind for this community user. I think she deserve a second chance . I hope admin will reconsider her banning issue for the welfare of bitcointalk community. I will not be surprised if admin give her temporary ban or signature ban instead of perma ban. Finally i believe that we need a user like her who is ready to help our community without any return and we really don't want to lose her forever. I did not known that user too much, but I already checked that user' past contributions, and seriously thought that she deserves to have another life with alternative punishment rather than permanent ban.
However, let me tell you that please do not do this because even you are come from community, and you created the thread from yourself intention to help her, not from her request to ask for help. You actually did something wrong, that in turn might lead to Ban Evasion for lovesmayfamilis. It should be better to lock the topic now. It seems that the underlying offense which caused him to initially get into trouble (and often the thing which causes his alts to get noticed) is excessive multi-posting. But when he was warned and/or temporarily banned for this minor thing, he kept evading his bans. This forum cannot operate unless its few rules are followed, so ignoring the warnings and temporary bans that you receive and continuing to do the same stuff is unacceptable. People who do so are not welcome here. His bans will not automatically expire, and any future alts we see from him will be permabanned. I may manually reconsider his ban if he promises to actually try not to break forum rules. The rules are not meant to silence anyone, but to keep the forum usable and fair. When someone multi-posts excessively, it monopolizes a thread in a way which harms everyone else's ability to communicate. Based on his posts in this thread, I think that he will just continue to break rules if unbanned, so I will not unban him at this time. Firstly I want to let you know one thing and that is I am not begging help for Unban my account , I am showing my honest opinion about someone who is really worthy of it where i believe many more community user also want this. As a responsible member of bitcointalk every single person who wants to keep the forum safer will not want to lose someone like "lovesmayfamilis" In my opinion. Let me ask you something, what do you think a person who exposed 79 scam and continued her activities until got ban to help the community? Does she deserve something like this? Obviously everyone have to follow our forum rules strictly but we also need this kind of contributor and scam catcher to save our forum user from unlimited number of scammers, spammers and fraudulent activists. we need those guys who have a real soft corner for this forum and its community. I have shared my personal feelings here and its totally on forum admins hand to reconsider or not . It is to notify you if i found another ban case like this in the future and find that the ban recipient is worthy of having mercy i will definitely open another thread for that guy. Its not only a community for me, I think its a family where i feel it my responsibility to rise my hand to help a valuable family member in his/her crucial time. I accept she did a mistake previously and she deserve punishment for that. But besides of punishment we are going to lose a best contributor of this forum who have spent lot of time to expose scams and help this community. Perhaps someone would say that people's are doing that for hunting merit, then I would like to ask them why are you not doing? However, those people's are exposing scams I appreciate them whatever reason behind it. As a active member of scam accusation board, I have discussed and help each other with almost every expose, lovesmayfamilis one of them. And she was friendly enough to help community but bad luck she was made a mistake on past.
Eventually I would like request theymos, please give her a second chance in order to help community. Perhaps temp ban or signature ban would be appropriate for her. May be she was newbie and she didn't know much about forum like other newbie. However admin decision will be most appreciated and I believe admin will decide whatever good for forum. I only recommended that it should be better for lovesmayfamilis if you support her in her Ban Appeal thread, not here. Maybe you are a member from community simply wanted to support her, but what happen if there are 10 users create 10 threads to support here case? Will it result in Ban Evasion (I guess it is)?Even if she is a prominent user of the forum, and 10 Ban Appeals from community to help her don't leat to a judgement as Ban Appeal, I believe we might see another kind of complaint, such as: "Why that user has 10 Ban Appeal threads and are not judged as Ban Evasion?" Do we need such kind of complaints? I could misunderstood theymos' opinion there, but I believe he mentioned about banned users, not others. It will be good if theymos leave a confirmation about this point, not only for the thread, but also for later ones. I cannot reply in the other threads here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5143365.msg51058691#msg51058691), as it will be a like breaking the forum rules from my side. So, I am replying and clearing the thing's here. I already got an temp ban, even before creating this thread. It is for 2 years signature and 60 days for posting and send PM. Hope this clears the issue. It was not due to my ban, appeal here. I just created this Post to know the exact post which was Plagraized so that I could atleast take care of it once I get unbanned. |
