Title: How To Sell Your Used Gift Cards For Bitcoin
Post by: alina345 on May 18, 2019, 06:53:31 PM
If you have been thinking about trading away your unused or new gift cards from stores such as Target, WalMart, Apple, Nike, Sephora, Amazon, Best Buy, VISA, Mastercard and more then here is how you can get started. I made this guide to be short and sweet. You can find the full guide here (https://www.smartbitcoininvestments.com/buy-bitcoin-with-gift-card/). There are two main places that will give you the most Bitcoins for your gift cards (1) Paxful (https://paxful.com/) (2) LocalBitcoins (https://localbitcoins.com/)

On Paxful there are over 300+ payment options including just about every single gift card under the sun. Verification requires a valid ID or passport. The exchange is based in New York, New York and is one of the most popular exchanges around. Fees are only 1%.

On LocalBitcoins, you can choose between any local buyer and/or seller to do business with. The platform supports peer-to-peer transactions and has all the security measures in place to keep merchants fair and honest. Security is tight as the platform has every type of 2-Factor authentification available. LocalBitcoins is available in every corner of the world and is the most visited Bitcoin exchange/marketplace in existence.

Great stuff OP. But I think that you need to change your thread title because it's a bit confusing. You can't sell Used gift cards. I think it should be Unused gift cards ;)
Thank you for useful guide.

LocalBitcoin removed all gift cards options from its platform
https://www.reddit.com/r/localbitcoins/comments/bp13ay/why_gift_card_trade_removed_from_lbc/
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5144571.0

I visited Paxfull once or twice before but I revisited here and it's selling your gift cards at a loss. I checked for example if I can buy BTC with Amazon.fr gift cards. The cheapest rate I found was ~$28,000 and the highest ~$68,000. I prefer to keep the codes and spend with Amazon Prime. I used Purse.io before to do that but there is no offer each time I log in to check.

Lovely, I go through the tutorial. I have heard of frequent blocking of accounts by paxful, I think you need to do a research about paxful and get conversant with their rules and regulations so as not to make any loss.

You are not informed completely , paxful increased the fees from 1% to 2% , one thing , and pls mention their drawbacks, they suspend account ,charge high fees,  keep so much bonds , rather pls check coinbaazar.com also .

I like using cardforcoin.com. There's only three options (Wal Mart, Target, and Starbucks) but the exchange is automatic so it is the least cumbersome option I know. There is also no KYC crap.

Best alternative to paxful and LBC  is www.coinbaazar.com , sign up and start trading. all payment methods

Well, it looks like I found a new reference to find a way to sell some of my vouchers. But i am still confused about the fees there.  :-\
It seems that the platform also can be used for OTC, right ?

The fee is flat 1% for all payment modes.

Yes LocalBitcoin is good but you will have to be careful  on who to chose to do your business, cause there are no places you can't find scammers. So look for those that are already verified, unless you just decide to take the risk with new buyers. Then as for Paxful, there is nothing to worry about, Paxful is always my favorite, they are legit and everyone knows them already cause they have a very good reputation . Another good thing I like about them is the fact they offer a lot of payment methods and withdrawals, so you never have to worry too much.

Lol I got clickbaited! I was very disappointed to learn that my empty gift cards are still worthless. Maybe next time. ;)
